Hi. I have posted my situation in the MB questions forum. I want my bf to come back to me since we broke up a month ago although we met each other last wk and spend time. He does care about me I just don't wanna lose him. He is seeing a woman now as often as I had been with him and he tries if he will fall for her even though she is also seeing someone.
I am posting here to ask about the honey Jar that I have read from people talking about it.
I have kitchen honey jar with metal lid and bought a candle since I want to start a spell as soon as possible. I am desperate of my situation. Tonight I just wrote my man's name on the paper with my name cross over it, my intention around our name and put it inside the honey jar. I don't have any hair from him. I anointed the candle with my vaginal fluid and olive oil. I hid it in my drawer since it is difficult for me to start the spell as I share apartment and I wanna know about the spell before I'm gonna start the candle. Before I start the spell I have questions:

- When I finished lighting the candle how do I disposed the honey jar and wax properly?
- what if I can't finish the spell that I started, what happens and what am I gonna do with the honey jar and candle?
- Do I really need to finish it if he is back?
- Am I doing the right thing making the honey jar?

Please help me. I'm not lighting the candle yet until I know if I'm doing it correctly.

Hi all.
I just started my honey jar for my ex lover, one month separated but still in contact and I'm gonna see him a week after his vacation from now. I have a question. I don't have his hair so I just wrote our names. Will it work out? When I'm done with the honey jar, is there any other proper way to dispose it besides burying in a backyard? I am not sure If I can get to the backyard since I am in an apartment on a 3rd floor. I have been figuring out how to bury it properly.
Please I need help with this.

I have three honey jars I stopped using for a while and I would like to start them back up do I need to order new ones or can I continue them where I left off? If I need to order new what do I do with the old ones? the are reconciliation,stay with me and love me. thanks

As far as I know you can still work them as long as the situation still is the same one ur working on.. meaning you would not change the jar for someone else. You can shake the jar and call the persons name, or smack the side and call the persons name and state your petition 3 X .. light candles on the jar, i would do that everyday to get things going. If possible I like to dress other candles around the jar that represent what I am working on like a rec candle a come to me candle and a blessing .. or whatever mixture makes sense to you. you can use regular candles that burn out in a few hours or tea lights dressed with LM oils and put it in a triangle around the honey jar. I also like using LM 7 day candles for that purpose set them around the jar and set them.. each day burn a candle on the jar while they burn.. pay careful attention to the burns to read signs in the wax and the 7 day candles.

j82 is correct Spellkiss, you can pick up where you left off - just make sure you work very regularly at the start to get things going again (j82 gave you some grreat ways of doing that in her response). You could even have MISC back you up with a Vigil light on their altar.

You're doing the right thing with the honey jar. But you don't dispose of it immediately. You keep working on it. Keep lighting candles.
Honey jars are a little slower to manifest sometimes. So, keep working it.
I like to keep the honey jars around even if they're back. It keeps them sweet to you.
You will know when it's time for disposal.

hearbroken, Why would you want to get rid of the jar? if it worked would you not want to keep burning candles on it to keep him sweet and loving to you? You can keep a honey jar for years. I really like the LM reconcilation kit, it has you write a letter etc and a mojo. It is a great add on with a jar. Good luck!

Hi everyone,

I started a honey jar spell yesterday but could only find a little plastic container instead of the glass jar I was looking for. Do you think it will still have the same effect ?
Also, while writing to intention around the names I accidently lifted my pen should I just start over & make another one, I have found the glass bottle now as well!?

If so, how should I dispose of the one I made yesterday ?

Hi sarah-1x,

As you'll no doubt read as you go through the pages of this existing thread on the subject of your interest, the reason glass is used rather than plastic is that plastic often melts when you're burning candles on it being both a fire hazard and bad news for your work. So it's practical rather than effect - but the effect of a melted through jar running all over your work space is less than positive with regards to your desired outcome from the point of view of divination.

If you accidentally lifted your pen - then you should have written a new petition paper. So yes, in short, I would make a new honey jar. And prior to beginning I'd also recommend taking the time to read through this thread which will give you lots of important advice, ideas and techniques on working and crafting your jar.

Like all spells, there are no guarantees, but a honey jar would be a good way to work vmadone. There are a few posts buried within this thread that talk about this type of jar; it would be worth finding them (and you'll read lots of other useful info that way too!). Ingredients would include cloves, deer's tongue, sweet pea and ground ivy.

If shyness on your part is an issue, this will also need to be addressed. John the Conqueror & Crucible of Courage combine well for this.

Hello Aura, is not about shyness though. Because he's hardly around and all I know he's in somewhere in Europe now. I have known his parents for decades and previously I was hoping we will end up together but apparently I was being too hopeful. Well anyway, I hope we can be friends.

I'm worried about my honey jar. Whenever Im lighting it my mother tells me to watch out for it like I'm gonna put the house on fire. I am so careful and I end up arguing.

Hey all! I have been considering doing a Follow Me Boy honey jar for a guy who is really is hot and cold and I am still considering doing skull candle work as well (although that may not be a good idea due to my not as of yet having a good grasp on skull candle work as of yet). Heres the thing... I just want him to cobtact me daily without my having to contact him first and also want to spend time with me. Can someone please help me wuth this set up? I have done one previous honey jar and I can't remember exactly how I worked it.

In your case, you'd want to circle the criss-crossed names with a petition of the type ''lovemecontactmedaily'' or simply ''contactme1stdaily'' written over and over in a circle without lifting your pen. Herbs specific to your desire would include catnip, cubeb berry, cinnamon, a tonka bean and a bit of deer's tongue.

Also consider backing the honey jar up with a specific contact spell, since honey jars make things sweeter but won't necessarily do the job alone. You'll find those spells and ideas for work in this thread: contact-me,-call-me,-reconnect-spell-qu ... 50#p145125

When you say ''is it OK'', there are a couple of answers depending on the specific question. If the question is ''Can I do the spell anyway?'', the answer is yes. If the question is ''Will it be effective?'', the answer is that the less personal the concern you have, the less connected the work is to the target and thus the harder to get the work to ''take'' or to have its intended effect. There's no way around this in folk magic - you connect the work to the target with a personal concern. A photo works, but not as well as hair or nail clippings or body fluids.

Depends on what kind of honey jar you are doing. If you are trying to sweeten a relationship between you and someone else then yes you can add a picture of yourself to the jar along with a picture of the other person . I would recommend getting Deacon Millet's book Hoodoo Honey and Sugar Spells (http://www.luckymojo.com/hoodoohoneyandsugarspells.html) and it will give you all the knowledge to get you on your way to successful honey jar work.

Thanks for responding. I just added some of my hair and a picture of him. I basically want him to follow me like a puppy and contact me 1st daily. I had a reading done and he is my soulmate,and that whenever he gets close to me he is gonna pull back due to fear of catching strong feelings for me. He is alreay doing that so I'm burning red (for fast action, love and happiness), pink and occasionally white candles on it annointed with Follow Me Boy oil and Come to me oil.

You may simply not be working with the right kind of spell for your desires at this point. Also consider the person you're working on - if he's a dominant, leader, alpha-male type to begin with: you may have trouble getting your way at all. Sorry I didnt reply to this first. It seems like hes pulling more and more away and not only are my feelings hurt but I'm getting angry. The reading I got did say this would happen but it just sucks. I so wanted to enchant him and give him all the best of me seeing as he's my "soulmate". I can't even get him to contact me fisrst at all. Very discouraging

In a lot of relationships one observes a cat and mouse game. The more you want him to initiate, the less he does. I have to second the excellent advice Miss Aura is giving you. What she is telling you is also one of the reasons why Reputable rootworkers set a time limit on love work. So I would strongly recommend that you give yourself a time limit on the love work and if things just don't work out by then do some Cut and Clear and move on to better things!

Yea it just sucks ya know? More than one psychic told me he was my soulnate and tge main onr told me this would happen. Idk why I just won't sit back and relax. Let me apologize firstly for the numerous questions I have made on this one topic. Ok hete is my latest question... I forgot to put oil on the petition paper but instead I annointed the jar lid clockwise with Follow me boy oil and Come to me oil. I read to do that somewhere a while ago. Is this ok or will it hinder my work?

Usually it's best to anoint the petition paper - but keep in mind that this isn't rocket science or differential calculus with a strict set of rules which will make or invalidate your work. Think of it like jazz music. There are lots of ways to play the same tune. The proof will be in the pudding: are you getting results? If so, don't worry about the detail, proceed with faith and keep the good work going.

Hi, i started a honey jar fore love and its going well, i had read somewhere on here that someone had warmed there jar with hot water that helped them. In a similar concept i would warm my jar prior to burning my candle by keeping it between my thighs or near my heart. I was doig this last night and i fell asleep, i woke up to find that the jar had fallen over and just a little kf the honey had seeped out.

My questions are is this practice a good idea? And do i have to restart my jar?

This is My first time posting here so i'm sorry if this was covered. I used the search function and i couldnt find anything related to my problem.

I too have heard of the warming up concept. I have heard of ppl placing their jar even under a lamp to warm it up. I myself have done the warm water and I have also done the placing it in the window seal to have tge sun warm it up. You still need to be especially cautious with this because God forbid that the jar 's lid may pop or something, but no... Your not alone on this.

I have a few more questions. I live with a roommate and we have thin walls, do i have to recite a prayer every time i work the jar?

Im also working a shaking jar in conjunction with my honey jar can i burn candles on both at the same time?

I typically burn a pink or red candle for love/romance, an orange candle to open the way and a blue candle for communication on each jar. Is this too much?

And lastly i alternate red and pink candles, the pink burn and leave a lot of wax with no discernible shapes but the red candles always burn clean. What does this mean?

It's best to recite a prayer every time you work the jar.

What do you mean by a shaking jar? If by a "shaking jar"you mean a sugar jar, yes, you can work them at the same time. (Note that other jar spells, such ads vinegar, hot sauce, or ammonia, can also be shaken.)

Hey just wanted to give you guys an UPDATE! So about 2-3 times a day I speak to my Honey jar , like I literally get my breathe on it and whisper to it as if I'm talking to my target... I do this right after I. "Turn Up the heat on him". What I mean is, I have been putting my honey jar in hot water, which makes the honey warm and moving faster. Each time I have done this my target either responds or contacts me 1st! The heating up your jar trick has been working rather well and I just wanted to share this

I've been working my honey jar for 2 weeks and I've been happy with the results so far, my target contacts me often and is very attentive. However, I was told by him today that he plans on moving to Washington. Should I continue working my jar or should I throw in the towel on this one. I do plan on getting a reading pretty soon but I'm feeling pretty down and would lie some advice until then.

Hello ConjuringCat,

My first question would be to ask if you have set a time limit on this particular love work? If so and you have not hit that time limit yet then I would say to keep working the jar. I would also want to know what the reason is for his move. Is it for a job? Did he finish with school and is now going home? You might dress some candles with Stay With ME and Influence oils to get him to stay in the area. If you are looking for a marriage proposal you could and Marriage oil to it. If you are planning on getting a reading I would just continue to work the jar the way you have been and then see what your reading says about the situation.

The reason for his move is he is planning on getting his PhD at a university there. Part of me wants to let him go because it would be selfish of me to not let him experience this opportunity , but another part of me feels like we have a spiritual bond and it would be stupid to not at least try to get him to reconsider. I had someone mix me a custom oil that consists of success oil, stay with me,follow me, rose quartz, and sage. I burned my usual candles pink for love/romance and blue for communication with this new oil, the flames were bigger and burned longer than when i used the come to me oil. They also consumed some of the wax from previous candles. I also wrote up a new petition for him to stay in the city and anointed it with the oil and placed it beneath my jar when i worked it, i'm now carrying that with me in my bra. He hasnt contacted me at all today which is a bit different but i'm going to assume that's because he needs some space to figure things out since we had a heavy conversation last night about the situation. I wouldnt even mind having a long distance relationship but he doesnt seem to be open to the idea.

Are there any special prayers/psalms to read for something like this, i usually recite psalm 45.

Also would anointing myself with this oil help even if i wont be around him for a bit?

Hey all! So my honey jar has successfully done what I wanted it to do which is have my target contact me first daily, BUT he isn't following me like a puppy. To explain I write on my petition paper "Cobatctme1stdaily,followmelikeapuppy". Im glad its kicking in because I havd been working the jar every day and this Friday will mark 3 weeks, after which I will work the jar Mon, Wed, and Fridays. Heres my question... How can I get my contact to more during the day and engage in more interaction with me, ESPECIALLY ask me out on another date? P.S. Hello ConjuringCat,

Getting a PhD is a pretty big deal. I personally would feel a bit awkward in persuading some one not to do that. Just out of curiosity would you consider moving to where he is going. Getting a PhD is very time consuming and demanding but if you are there with him as well as patient and supportive of him through the process it could help build a strong foundation for a long relationship. Just a thought.

Congratulations on having success in your work! I would suggest you just keep working the jar the way you are planning and allow the spell to build up. Getting movements like that in only 3 weeks is pretty good!

No, im pretty much bound to my current location for the next 15-18 months. No worries though, i decided that it wasnt my place to interfere with his decision and to take an old saying 'if you love something let it go and if it come back to you its yours.' Although im fairly certain this one wont be coming back, which is okay. I'm going to rework my jar so that it keeps the lines of communication open and maintains a strong friendship.

Im also going to work on drawing someone new into my life, is there anything in the way of a honey jar that i can do for that, i know LM sell kits but i can only afford to work with what i have at the moment

Come To Me, Attraction, and Look Me Over are all formulas for bringing a new love into your life, ConjuringCat.

If you're using the Monday-Wednesday-Friday tradition of working, try it this way:

On Monday, anoint the candle on your honey jar with Come To Me oil. For an added boost, use Come To Me incense when doing the candle work. I recommend doing the work in the bathroom, so that you can bathe with Come To Me bath crystals as your candle for the day finishes its burn.

How should I word my petition for this new jar? Do I just make a list of qualities I'd like in a potential partner or do i do something more generic like "my perfect match". If either one is acceptable which would be better?

I have come to me oil, I can't buy the attraction or Look me over until the beginning of May. I do however have a blend of success, attraction,stay with me oils along with a sage leaf and a rose quartz. I know this is typically for a known lover but if i use it with the intent to find a new lover will it help?

How should I write my petition and my wish? I know I have to write his name first then write mine over, like a cross. I recall reading that my wish for ex: "love me and stay with me" has to be written on the sides like a circle with the words linked to each other, never removing the pen. Is it correct? Thanks

Hi,
I iust started working on a honey jar today. I'm using a votive candle right now and it's going to burn for 10 hours. Is it ok to use a tealight next time or a glass encased votive candle or offertory candle etc? Is it ok to use another candle types each time? I prefer a tealight next time since it doesn't take too long to burn out. By the way, is it ok to work on two or more honeyjars at the same time? Thanks!
