MoonSunStar, use whatever kind of candle will fit on top of your jar.

Yes, you can work two honey jars at the same time, if they are on different people or for different purposes (say, one on your husband and another on your boss or neighbor; or one for your marriage and another for a court case). Two honey jars on the same person -- that's just redundant. Most people wouldn't do that, but you never know

Hi. I'm always working on my honey jar almost everyday. I burned a small paper with his name on it from the break up spell with feces, the other piece of paper with girl's name flushed and his name I separated and burned on the candle I'm using for honey jar. I rolled it so ashes will be kept but it became a bundle burning that it fell on the carpet and my carpet burned a little bit. Scared me a bit.
Anyway it's working well my exbf became closer to me. We don't see everyday but I can tell from the way he speaks to me. I feel like he is coming back. I will be with him tomorrow and I even ask him to cook the food we like to eat for breakfast.
I will keep working on it along with other spell until he is officially back to me.

Stay with Me won't help attract new love, ConjuringCat. I like the list of qualities, myself.

I wouldn't use a piece of a break up spell in my sweetening work, Heart. I understand the idea, but I don't want ick anywhere near my sugar magic!

Hi. I already burned the leftover paper with his name on the honey jar candle. Ok ill remove the remaining ashes and throw it on the plant at the lobby. I just didn't know where to put that piece of paper with his name and i don't wanna smudge feces on it. Please tell me its not gonna ruin what I'm doing coz it seem to be working already with him. I am doing my best to get him back. Thank you.

Yes my whole idea was to removed him from her and bring him back to me. When I get home ill take the leftover ashes and placed it on the fortune plant pot.
Thank you. I was scared I don't wanna push him away. That made me felt better. I wish he'll come back to me soon and leave the new girl. She don't care about him anyway and still seeing someone else.

I really can't stand it anymore. I don't want my husband back. I just want to win my divorce settlement & move on to something better. The thing is that I HAVE to deal with him, we have a young child together. I have a lot of hurt & resentment over the situation, & even though him getting a mistress really did me a favor, something about seeing him giving respect & common decency, along with standing up to his mother for this woman makes me see red. Maybe it's because she's an ugly, barren, 46 yr.old drug addict; while I'm 3 years younger than him, gave him 10 yrs of my life AND a child, & basically changed my whole life for him. There can be no reconciling our differences. He has hurt me too much, for too long. His mother turned him against me & his stepson at year 2 of our marriage & he's been cruel to my oldest son since then. It's just when I have to deal with him, he breaks y heart when he calls me names & accuses me of having affairs, or even dating now (I'm respecting our vows until I am divorced). I was thinking a honey jar with Follow Me Boy (for congruent dominance), Influence, & maybe Love Me (Idk, he still does though, in his way) or Compelling oils might be the way to go? I just need something so that he will treat me kindly, with common decency, respect, & want to give me the things I'm asking for, you know?
ETA: Actually did any of you read the entire "Wizard of Oz" series by L.Frank Baum? There's one story where they meet teh Shaggy Man & he has a love magnet, that makes everyone act kindly to him. I need something like that with my husband, lol!

Thanks for quick reply. I might not need the skull candle. My husband is weak willed & easily manipulated. It's very easy to work on him, lol. I did hotfoot him to jail, & now that I feel safe, my intuition says to sweeten him.

Interesting effect.. did you push it down before use? Sometimes with honey and items they will rise or change location based on weight so if the jar was made with really light objects I can see that...or if not pushed down when doing the work prior. Knowing your petition and items used would help clarify the question. Example I can see reading this as the petition is drawn to the candle and thus the person is drawn to you or is moving to you, or I can see it as the person is above the sweetness of this realtionship. the interpretation is often personal. Also reading the other signes such as the candle burn, droppings of the candle, card readings, signs ( watch and wait) from it to see.

I'm getting it done. I have Follow Me Boy, Love Me, & Influence oils on the candles I'm burning right now, but I have reconciliation on the way. I didn't put any of my concerns in the jar, because I didn't feel guided to. I did feel drawn to adding Angelica & Pennyroyal, along w/ Marjoram, Orris root, Gentian, Licorice root, Rosemary, Cloves, a couple petals from a rose that he picked for me, Catnip, Red clover, & Borage. On the petition I kept is simple & just wrote Love Me & Treat Me Kindly & With Respect, & Treat Me Better Than You've Ever Treated Any Other Woman. I'm pairing this with a 7 day love spell to get things going. Idk, he tried calling me from the jail while I was in the middle of starting the work & I don't feel so raw inside toward him. You know that feeling when you put aloe on a burn? That's the emotional equivalent of how I feel, very soothed inside. I feel like things will improve & we will be able to get along. If he can treat me with kindness & respect, I think that I can move on to someone else & be happy sooner. Like, I won't be questioning what is so awful about myself to make a man treat me this way without provocation.

Out of curiosity,

I've noticed that after repeatedly lighting candles on their jars, many people here report having their honey jars covered in melted wax. Some cannot see the jar anymore under all the wax. The wax has run down to embrace or veil the jar.

I understand that the ideal burn is a clean one. One with no smoke, no leftover columns of melted wax, little to no wax remains in general.

In the case of the honey jar though, does this apply? Or do we want a burn that leads to the jar being covered in melted wax?

A clean burn is still usually best Pwincess Buttacwup. That said, a clean burn leaves little to divine. Big, melted over jars are very typical of long, complicated love affairs as well as court cases or in-law work - where there are lots of issues, stuff is messy to deal with, and thus it takes a long time and lots of wax later to get to the results desired.

Hi all, just thought I'd let you all know how my honey jars are getting on.

The one to reconcile me and my (ex)? fiance seems to be working at it's own pace
At least he's being nice to me,
Have seen some good daily signs from it,
Yesterday he used some language that made me stop and think that he must be thinking about reconciling so that's good

I know matters involving the heart are hard but if you're out there working a honey jar just have faith and any time I have doubt I pray or try do other proactive things and other hoodoo workings to go along with it...

The honey jar I'm doing for my flatmate hasn't done anything, in face she's not speaking to me at all so we'll see how that pans out.
I've also got a kinda vinegar jar going, to sour my (ex) fiance and my flatmate (no romance involved just long story),
Haven't seen too much result from that either, they've been talking and laughing around quite a bit, so I'm just living on my faith at the moment

Thanks shantily. I just added the hair. I feel much stronger with the hair in the honey jar. I tied our hair together. He has always been nice to me, I sleep with him at least every week. Waiting for the sign of him to say something about coming back. I feel good that I have added our hair.
As with the vinegar jar I'm trying to complete items I needed. Its so difficult to find black hair of cat and dog. I can't wait to complete the items and start it.
Tomorrow he obeys when I say I wanna see him. Saturday he said he won't be available, he said most likely he's with the girl. I want them to sour but no vinegar jar yet.

Hi. I have been burning my honey jar candle. Usually the candle doesn't have left over wax but when I burned a small paper before the ash stucked together became a bigger fire so there are wax that settled at the bottom. Where can I put the wax from the candle?

If it's your honey jar candle, bury it in the back yard to draw him to you, if you don't have a yard put it in a pot plant near your back door.

I haven't spoken to my estranged husband since I began the honey jar & love spell on him. He has been trying to call me every day, multiple times a day,& sometimes when I'm in the midst of hoodooing him, LOL! so I'm going to the jail to see him, & I'm wearing the oils I use use on his honey jar candles; Influence, Follow Me, Love Me, & Reconciliation. I'm not going to bring up his meth whore or try to fight with him in any way. I'm just going to assume that he's calling me to speak with his child & inform him that he's going to need to have his mother give me some money to set up a phone account, if that's the case.

Ok I got a problem...
myself and a couple friends got honey jars going at their house,
my issue is: my gay friend has 2 jars going for his distant male lover
and I got 2 going for my husband I am straight woman. my gay friend on Monday dressed
2 candles for his jars and accidentally put those candles on MY jars

OMG I looked at the jars yesterday when I put 2 candles on my jars
and realized he used MY jars for his candles!!! my question is did that ruin my jars??
are my honey jars no good now?? would I have to make new honey jars AND "IF"
my honey jars are ruined now, "what do I do with them now"? burn them or
throw them away?? omg I do not know what to do, please help with any advice
or ideas plleeaasseee. and anyone can PM me at any time.. I am very concerned about this!

No worries, Gifted! The honey jars are consecrated in the name of your beloved. Putting candles on them in the name of somebody else does nothing...

Someone sneaking in and doing reversing or cursing candles on there would be a problem!

I was just wondering if I'm doing it right burning my candle. I don't get to fully burn it all since tge candle is 8" long so I snap the fire out when I go out and light when I'm back. I'm still going to look for 4" candle.
On Saturday the girl my ex is seeing is going to decide who she choses. The other guy or my ex. I wish she chose the other guy and leave mine alone. I already did smudge her name with feces and flush it in the toilet with the intent of her to go away. I also want my ex to decide to come back working on honey jar. Ill find out what happens on monday who she choses. I'm not scared but believe she will go away. Just a little scared can't help it.

The visit at the jail went really well with my estranged husband, he was exactly the way I put for him to be in my petition; loving, kind, & respectful. He didn't ask me for any money & says he wants to reconcile with his stepson & get clean to be a good father to his 7 yr.old. He told me that he's better off in jail right now & he wants to go to inpatient rehab when he's done. He says he needs a couple days in between, which can be a BIG problem, cuz he's still sweet on his meth whore & she's out getting high right now. He says she won't take his calls & has only been in once in the 15 days he's been there to see him, ha. I dressed myself w/ the same oils that I dress the candles I burn on his jar with, but we have to talk through a phone & there's a thick wall of plexiglass between us, so no contact. I guess that's good, his whore can't touch him either. I got creative & wrote him a long letter last night. I have a method of using oil to dress paper, WITHOUT staining, because I'm used to wearing perfume oils. It's easy, just apply the oils to your wrists/forearms, rub them in REALLY well, then rub your wrists/arms all over the papers. This is probably better for a situation that deals with a government institution, because if you have ANY powder left on the paper or envelope, they will probably toss them. Especially when they're in a corrections facility, anything that could even bear a passing resemblance to drugs is going to be considered contraband. I'll update to see how it goes

It could spill into your luggage, and hotels don't like their guests to light candles in the rooms.

For travel, make a sugar jar -- which you shake and pray over, rather than lighting candles. Otherwise it's built just like a honey jar.

So my situation with my ex fiance still living here seems to be getting slowly better.

I would like to do a honey jar to sweeten his family back to me.
Now do I have to individually name them all? Some I don't have information for.
Would a picture of his family altogether be appropriate?
And the only magical link I guess you could say, I would have, would be his hair, would it be beneficial to use?
Anyone got any thoughts on this?

Hi everyone! I started a reconciliation honey jar,last Friday. I used the photo of my target for the petition paper...Is that ok? Also, while writing the petition in cursive manner,I lifted the pen very slightly,only at the beginning. Could someone please tell me if that jar can still work.Or do I need to start a new one
And, Is it ok to use pencil & red ink pen to write the petition?

Thanks for your reply, PrincessAnna! I guess I have to start a new honey jar, next Friday. I think this time I might use a paper for the petition, & put the photo inside it. Just in case I mess up again...I can throw away the paper & start again.
So what do I do with the jar I made? Do I open it & dispose of it's contents in a canal I've got near my house, or do I just drop the whole jar in it?

I've read that some people use sugar water instead of honey, to speed things up.My question is how do you make sugar water? How much sugar u put in the water, & do u have to shake it? And I suppose the spell still works even if the petition paper desintegrates, right?

I might try the sugar water if it works just as well as the honey. I find honey a bit messy, but I'm willing to do whatever is best. What do you think...any suggestions?

I have a glass jar with a metal lid, pink candles, a photo of him, pink rose petals and a petition. I do not have a hair or any personal things. I was wondering if you would recommend any herbs in particular to add and would honey or sugar be best for this?

Hi again. I have now found a hair that belongs to him. It just came to me where I might find one and lo and behold there was just one there! Couldn't believe it!

OK, so while grocery shopping today in the honey and sweetener section, I saw there's now a product that's 100% granulated honey. Neeeeeaat... I guess it's for folks who like honey but not the gooeyness? Whatever about that. But... I immediately recognized it's usefulness in a sweetening jar. It's honey you can shake. Oh yeah.

Then I wondered... what about foot-tracking with this stuff, in a love context? ...(yes, I have something in mind...)

I'd be up for any feedback from the experts here. Gosh, what a cool thing I found.

With all teh recent warm weather, like summer temps & me having an upstairs apartment; I've noticed the petition in my honey jar floating to the top, but I'm going to attribute that to the honey being especially liquid-y in the warmth. I was taking the estranged husband's calls & sending him letters, but he pissed me off when I asked him to borrow his Xbox 360 for our son & he laughed at me, I also noticed him trying to manipulate our child on the phone, so I am not picking up his calls at this point, but still doing the honey jar. I've also felt kind of sickened by him & his mother manipulating our son, so I haven't been writing him. I did take one of his calls on Mother's Day, since he has been calling with a card, i.e. at no cost to me. He was nice & wished me a Happy Mother's day, so I kept the call short with him so we wouldn't argue. I accidentally left my driver's license at the jail, so I will be going to see him tomorrow, since I have to go back & get it anyway.

Hello. I have a question about using two honey jars at the same time; is it ok to do that? I'm looking into doing one for Peaceful Home and one for Stop Gossip. Would it be best to do one and have all of my thoughts/energy focused on it, or would I be able to do both at the same time to stop the gossip and any roadblocks in my quest to help my family? I've had a reading on a guy and the reading revealed he's the guy I can date for now just before the man I'll get serious about arrives in a few months. So this in the meantime guy.

I'm considering starting a honey jar for him to desire me and to wine and dine me. Although, this is not someone I'm looking to have a serious relationship with but I want to be treated special. I also want to ensure that when it ends, that it ends kindly as friends.

What herbs or things should I put in a honey jar for friendship? Me and this girl from work have been getting along real well recently. I don't have any friends here so I want to sweeten her to me more so we become the best of friends. I've been wearing the Attraction oil and that seems to work like a charm as she always comes up to me and invites me to hang out with her. Is a honey or sugar jar even necessary to solidify things or should I just let things go the way they are. Like I said, I don't have many friends and none at all that live near me and things can get lonely. This is strictly bffs. No romance at all.

I'm sure the answer to my question(s) can be found but I just can't read all 4000+ posts, so my apologies in advance. I decided to also start a honey jar for the return of my beloved ex. As Shantilly Lace mentioned and suggested over in the Reconciliation Oils section when I asked about sprinkling some on a gift for her (which I have done and as I posted there, the bait has been swallowed, so to speak). It took me 3 or 4 tries to get the circle of my wishes done properly! Luckily I had a couple of strands of her hair still on a shirt to boot.

The hair sounds very important and beneficial. Is there a timeline I can or should expect anything from the Honey Jar? I read that it is fairly powerful. I also read of some signs I could or should be able to read in the drippings. Thanks again.

Hey Mitchell,
Hair is a personal concern and is wonderful to attach any spell to the person. You can even cut the hair if you only have a few, so you can use it over several spells.

Honey jars, well mine took a few weeks to boot over to start to sweeten him, but in saying that I left mine quite late and the petition wasn't worded as well as it could have been. I don't mind now because I am no longer casting to get him back. I still love him dearly but I no longer want would be a 'false' win. I will always keep the honey jar though because we are great close friends and hey everyone needs a little sweetness in their life.

The jar works really well. It is extremely strong, I know that if his gf tries to bad mouth me, he is all over her to defend me. I didn't even realise at first that it was working that well or really the time line. I just knew one day when I was looking back, he was phoning, or texting or messaging me and wanting to see me every day.

So work the honey jar, some people like to warm by holding it, others burn 3 tealights around it to get things moving. I would burn a candle on the top of it, anointed with oils and things inscribed on the candle.

The honey jar is something that just keeps on going and getting stronger. and even when you reconcile it is great to keep around, keep that sweetness going.

Inside my petition I put a piece of his hair and a piece of my hair crossed over, two rose petals, a little cinnamon and cardamom. The petition has floated to the top of the honey. I didn't have much time, so I burned a small pink candle on the top until it burned out. The flame was quite high and very still and left no wax at all. I will be burning candles again tomorrow. I'm hoping to have some larger ones as I have more time. Do they have to be on top or can they be in a container on the top?

I was just wondering if I need to do anything other than work the jar to go along with/help the spell?

Thanks. It's nice to know the hair can be cut for multiple spells, but I hope I don't have to do that! I'm impatient, I want her back NOW!

Hi Maria, well I don't have any small candle holders so I just pop it on top, but others use holders. Luck mojo sells a kit that has a holder in it so a container wouldn't be an issue.

No you have done well. Your intent is in it and if you work it Mon, Wed and Fri after the first week for a while all will be well. This is more to get it going than anything else. And once it starts it just keeps going.

Oh aren't we all Mitchell.
It isn't a bad idea to cast from a couple of different angles. a honey jay to sweeten her to you, a moving candle spell. something to help with healing the rift. I don't do too many as I want my intent to be strong, but I tend to do a couple. I also prefer set and forget type spells.

Thank you Shantilly Lace.

As I am short on time when there is no one home, this morning I burned a pink birthday candle on my jar, at lunch time I burned a white birthday candle, I have just burned a white and pink birthday candle together on my jar and there is currently a large white pillar candle on top. Each time I spend around 5-10 minutes just repeating my wish over and over and thinking about what I want and how it makes me feel. As this candle is so large am I right to snuff it out and wrap it in a brown paper bag until next time? I was also just wanting to check if a white candle can serve the same purpose as a pink one?

Hello everybody, I am new to this site and new to honey jars. I have a couple of questions about a honey jar. I am having someone do the honey jar for me and I told them what I want. I have know this girl for a while and we were friends for a while. The jar was started last Friday.... should I be seeing changes already. Since the jar was started I seen her at the gas station after work which I have never seen her at this gas station before. Also the other day i gave her some candy and she put her hand in mine and she came to find me to give me a hug, when she gave me the hug it felt good. When I text her she sometimes don't text back. Are these signs that the honey jar is working and if it is what is the timeframe for her to come around. Also I started seeing the type of car she drives. Thanks for your answers in advance

Snuffing the candle out is fine if you can't leave it burning. I don't know about the wrapping it, sorry. I never have to hide my workings so I just leave it out.
A white candle can be used to replace any colour candle. People like to use matching colours to the situation as it help reinforce the idea in their mind but it isn't necessary.

I have a feeling my post last night didn't go thru, so here is a similar one I just left in the Signs Forum.

I wrote a similar post last night in the Honey Jar section and I did it on my iPhone so whether it just hasn't posted or it got lost, I dunno, but here goes here. Wednesday night I burned my first candle on my honey jar. I am using pink birthday candles right now and have better pink ones ordered. Anyway, the first candle burned dry as a bone, no drips, no residue, even the wick completely burned. Last night (Friday night, my second candle.) I used the second pink candle from the same package. The first thing I noticed was this candle dripped, dripped like crazy! I thought that was interesting enough but when it burned down, the part of the wick that was left is curled into a heart shape! I have a pic to prove it. I showed the pic to a friend and when she saw the pic she said it looked like a heart, so it isn't just me. (I didn't suggest a heart, I asked what she thought.) I understand that honey jars are rather powerful. So, am I seeing a sign already? Thanks.
