LuckyMC, I hope things turn your way! I'm hardly experienced, but it seems like given the way your situation has turned a fresh new jar would be more apropos? I'm no expert though!

Would it be ok to shake a vinegar jar more than once a day?

Cruedangel- Yes, you can shake a vinegar jar more than once a day. I would suggest any time that you feel strong emotion you give it a good shake.

AlyssaH- I would continue the vinegar jar but maybe add some compelling work for your mother in law to get her to pay you or do whatever else she might have promised to you or Essence of Bend Over work on the mother in law to get her to not interfere with your business. Vinegar jars are long-term spells and the 3 day/3 week rule (3 days to see movement or a sign and 3 weeks to fully come through basically) is a good rule to go by. I would be cautious of doing too many spells or too much work at one time. Put your energy towards one or two things really strongly- it will get you better results. Your vinegar jar sounds good- you may have just not given it enough time yet to really work.

Sunnylight- Generally I find it best to come up with my own prayer or short statement to say during creation of the spell, or you can add a petition paper into the jar or write on the pictures of people involved (if you have the pictures). If you feel the work is justified (you can always get a reading to make sure it is), you can utilize the appropriate Psalms for your situation (9, 11, 48, 59 for example). I would personally not call on a saint or spirit without already having a working relationship with them. If you have an ancestor or blood relation you can call on it is helpful. I would establish the relationship with the spirit, saint, or ancestor before asking them to work for or with you though, especially on something like this. Generally I would do the spell when you feel confident and have a lot of emotion towards the person you are working against, and possibly start on a Saturday or Tuesday if you can wait a bit longer.

Thanks Mary_Crystal. Well, I have been using Essence of Bend Over on the MIL, she is just very strong willed & over bearing. I was concerned that I would be doing too many spells, but the MIL & the mistress are tangled up with my marital situation. It's actually funny, I really think I needed to do all of this work because since I've started it I can actually sleep & eat again. I had a very large amount of pent up anger that I had no way to vent & the spell work is releasing that for me, where even doing physical labor & home projects wasn't helping me. As far as my MIL, I'm going to try the same freezer spell I used on the mistress, tomorrow. If that doesn't work, I'll have to Hotfoot her.

I think I'm going to keep working both jars as both relationships seem to be weak. I'm really disappointed with my freezer work, and may need to start that all over. I've seen some movement with both cases while continuing the work, both in readings and in behavior, so I will continue with them for now, until I receive a sign or I'm otherwise advised.

I've never heard of the Spirit of Hatred before. Someone please enlighten me. Googling "holy spirit of hatred" didn't bring up anything for me. Does anyone know who he/she is, or his/her real name? Is this another name for the Intranquil Spirit?

Hello, Pwincess Buttacwup,

I've edited your post because the quote was just way too long.

I personally never heard of this spirit. I guess we all learn something new everyday.

The Intranquil Spirit is NOT Holy. So, it is not that. Maybe another moderator has heard the "The Holy Spirit of hatred"???? Let's see is anyone else has heard of this spirit.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help to you -- but in any case, this is a topic-thread about Vinegar Jars, not about spirits. There is another section of the Forum where you may ask about named spirits and perhaps you will receive a reply.

Take care

Hello Everyone,

I am dealing with a certain situation and would like some insight on what could be going wrong. I do have a reading booked for tomorrow with an AIRR reader, but I would appreciate responses from the LM forum and hopefully some similar stories.

My ex boyfriend and I had broken up in January due to him cheating on me with another female. He then went into a relationship with this female after he got angry with me for me going through his cell phone. I successfully returned my ex boyfriend to me with reconciliation and return to me vigils, a reconciliation honey jar, and a picture jar. I also had LM light road opener and break up vigils for me as I was hesitant to do any break up work myself. He had been coming to my home 3/4 days out of the week and staying over with me and had vocalized to me a lot how he did want to be with me, but to take it slow. He will never fess up to me that he is in a relationship with this female, only saying she is a rebound, even though his Facebook clearly shows that they are in a relationship. For almost a month it seemed as if he was heading towards breaking up with this female and he even said he was going to leave her because she was becoming obsessive and annoying.

Now here is where it gets weird. I made a vinegar jar last tuesday. I first cut a lemon in half, tore a picture of them together in half with their names and birth dates on each. I anointed my ex boyfriends with his semen and placed black dog hair with it then folded the picture 3 times and wrapped it with black thread. With the female, I placed black cat hair and I spit and urinated on her picture cursing her to hell (this is where I am worried as I do not know if I should have done this since I added a personal concern of mine in a vinegar jar). i folded her picture 3 times and tied it with black thread as well. I placed the pictures on opposite sides, placed the paper petition stating for them to constantly fight and hate each other and break up permanently along with stuffing sulphur, asfoetida, black pepper, red pepper, and poppy seeds in between the pictures. I put the lemon together with 9 rusty nails, put it in a jar filled with vinegar, break up oil, and 9 needles. I wrapped black tape around the entire jar so their relationship would be in constant darkness then I have lit black candles dressed in breakup oil and the above herbs with their names carved on the candle with break up carved in the middle on tuesday and saturdays.

Ever since I created the vinegar jar, my ex boyfriend has become distant from me. Before creating the jar he always would call me cute names and would text and call me often, but now he wont even say my name. Now he will hardly text or call me, has ditched me twice when he had promised to come over and spend time with me (i am going through a bad health issue and wanted his support), and has had an attitude most of the times we do talk. I became upset with him today as he promised to come to my home to spend time with my parents and I for their anniversary, but instead he tells me he's tired and hung up on me. It also seems as if he is getting closer to the female and this is not what I wanted! I do not understand what is going on.. before I made the jar he was completely loving and would make any excuse to come see me, now he is more distant than ever and I do not know if it is because of the vinegar jar or because I spit on the females picture. I did not do a full cleansing bath after I created the jar, just washed myself with some florida water and smudged myself with sage. I save my cleansing baths for sundays. I am at a loss and do not know what to do. Has anyone had this happen to them and if so, what happened? Any advice or insight would be much appreciated!!

I understand Miss Aida, no problem. Just for everyone's reference since the post was a long time ago, I quoted the prayer to the Holy Spirit of Hatred that someone had posted to this thread. Really though, anyone can find the prayer by looking through the posts. I'll keep the quotes short next time.

I'm not familiar with any holy spirits who are known for hatred either, so my curiosity is growing as to whom this spirit could be. I hope someone with information chimes in soon!

You have much more of yourself than of the other woman in the vinegar jar. Also, she may have figured something was up and cleansed and protected herself, and may even be doing sweetening work on him.

Your own cleansing work sounds pretty good, but you left that vinegar jar active. Empty it out and start over. Then cleanse yourself again, and protect yourself.

Now, instead of putting your personal concerns all over your enemy's picture, stick pins in it and drip Chinese chili oil or hot sauce in its eyes and write the nastiest words you know all over it, along with commands to always put herself first in the bitchiest way possible.

Then rebuild the vinegar jar as you did before.

Balance it out with a sweet jar. You can put your personal concerns as well as his in that. Work the vinegar jar when both clock hands are falling, especially on Saturday; and the sweet jar when the clock hands are rising, especially on Friday. Monday (women's concerns), Wednesday (communication) and Sunday (healing and blessings of all kinds) are other good choices for sweet work.

Best of luck,

Miss Michaele,

Thank you so much for your response! You are very right though, I do have more of myself in the vinegar jar than the female target. That must be why he is becoming more distant from me than the actual target. One question however, how should I properly dispose of the jar so it will not be active anymore? Since it has some of my personal concern, I want to make sure I do not damage this relationship anymore than I have already.

Good point.

First, do your cleansing work. This should include a bath -- and for this case I think Jinx Killer would be just the thing. As you bathe, pray that all connections between you and the vinegar jar are broken.

Then protect yourself.

Next, remake the vinegar jar as discussed above. That way they have no room to stop fussing and fighting when you undo the previous spell.

Then, consult this page: which says, "If you want to destroy its influence, burn it." You can't burn vinegar, but you could take it to the crossroads, empty it out, and sprinkle it with your Jinx Killer bath water.

Good luck,

Alright, not sure what's going on. I saw movement on my vinegar jar against the MIL & my husband, but she got teh communication issue cleared up & they're talking now, ugh. Anyway, I did a nasty freezer spell on her, but used pure vingegar. I read vinegar wouldn't freeze. Panicked, checked it & sure enough it was slushy, but still liquid around her pic. So I added toilet water & it's completely frozen now. I didn't have personal concerns, just a pic, but I was fortunate enough to come across her blood while cleaning at my old house (that she owns). Should I just redo the whole thing the right way from the start with my newly acquired personal concern? My gut instinct says this was a gift & message to me ;) I'm also thinking that I should add milk because this is his mother....

Thanks Miss Michaele for that information! But is it okay to create another vinegar jar tomorrow even though we are now heading into a waning moon or should I wait until the Full Moon or should I wait until the waxing moon to do any break up work?

Just to give y'all an update:

The second love interest is done. He's still pestering her, but the more he does it the more she wants him to stay away. The first guy is a wreck of suspicion and paranoia. I am thinking I will bury both bottles at the cemetery, and start a new one to put the nail in the coffin on their relationship.

I've been heating up the reconciliation work, and will post more about that later in that forum.

Well this is interesting... I just laid the 2 vinegar jars in the cemetery at the old rotten tree... I noticed the wrappings of the previous broken jar I had laid there, completely shredded around the trunk. When I inspected the area at first I could find no trace of the jar, and the coins I left in payment are gone. I then noticed the jar peeking out from one of the flooded pools nearby. It's rained a bit since I laid the trick, and I couldn't find any tracks, but I would assume it was a raccoon that dug it up and played with the foil. It could have been a possum, but I think raccoon. How are these animals viewed in Hoodoo? It felt like a good sign, as my initial thought was not a animal life :)

After laying the bottles, I did readings. I'm not going to start a new jar now, as it feels important to have laid the trick and walked away. There's enough problems, doubt, suspicion and other drama to destroy any relationship, much less one based on a couple month old friendship. This will allow me to focus fully on the reconciliation work, and my other work (money drawing and strengthening personal mastery.

I really am curious as to how nocturnal creatures are viewed with something like this. I know some traditions, given the location would see it as the spirits acting physically through the raccoon or possum.

Thanks,

Lucky

Hello, italianstrega,
Getting rid of things (like enemy work) is usually performed during a waning moon
Bringing things into your life and making things grow (like love) is usually performed during a waxing moon.
Hope this helps

Hello, AlyssaH
I'd start a new one.
And make sure that the milk is spoiled.
Also, you can go to the upper right hand corner of this page. In the dark green area, there is a white search box. Type: in laws and see what come up.
Good luck with this! I am very impressed by your nasty work!

Hello, LuckyMC,
If the animals dug it up, this may be a sign that you will have to do another vinegar jar spell.
Nevertheless, it may be a sign of showing resistance to the burial and the spell.
If this were me, I'd make up another one. Then, being that these things happened at the graveyard, the next time I would deploy it at the crossroads.
Or, you could get a reading on this to find out if the spell was successful.
Your call.
Take care

I'm definitely thinking about getting a reading on this situation to get a handle on what I'm not seeing. There's a lot of signs of resistance.

The jar that was dug up was the broken one that I originally asked about. I had made a new one since then, and found the broken jar dug up while fixing the new at the grave yard.

Thanks,

Well it appears to have been a good sign so far, or at very least fixing the new bottles at the graveyard is showing strong signs of success. She and my primary rival are done, and it appears to be for good this time. The second rival has made it so she never wants to speak to him again.

I'm still going to get a reading to assist in better navigating the situation. I'm always amazed how fast Hoodoo works for me when I have my game on, faster than the folk traditions I grew up with.

I'll be continuing the reconciliation work and personal empowerment work.

Thanks,

Ok' I did start a new freezer spell & I made it SUPER nasty. I stuck the foil wrapped lemon with the concern, petition, & powders/herbs, I stuck that in a ziplock bag & filled the bag w/vingegar & toilet water. Idk, she is just extremely pissing me off at the moment. I can't even be around her, I like I will blow up on her. I was also able to add in a used razor from my husband & her blood to their vinegar jar. Since I'm doing everything in the bathroom, I cover the full length mirror w/ a towel & my son is like "why is that covered, mom!?" Lol. Also had a crazy dream about the vinegar jar I put my husband & his mistress in. I dreamed that we were both residing in his mom's house & I threw the jar at him, it broke, but OUR pictures were in it. I ended the dream telling him we could be together as long as we don't live together.

Thank you MIiss Aida for that information..

I actually disposed of the vinegar jar as both my reader and my gut feeling told me I should not have used any of my personal concern in the vinegar jar. Once I got rid of the vinegar jar, I did a thoroughly cleansing of my home and took a cleansing bath then did protection work. I actually started a red candle spell on my ex boyfriend that night to bring him back to me and the very next day he showed up at my apartment un announced because he missed me so much! Never has a a spell manifested so quickly for me! I will definitely be using skull candles from now on in my root work.

I am holding off on any breakup work until the full moon and then I will recreate a vinegar jar.

Sounds very good, Italianstrega!

Mighty important to keep our love and our cursing separate!

This also shows the value of cleaning house -- it can speed things up immensely...

She and my primary rival still have contact. I'm not a 100% sure whether they are in an extremely strained attempt at reconciliation, or in a strained, post breakup work relationship, but it appears that the jar might not have worked quite as instantly after fixing as I had hoped, but there is definitely strong motion.

I've debated doing another jar, to deploy at the cross roads near his house, but after doing some readings, I've opted to switch to separation work, a curse vinegar jar on just him, my stepped up reconciliation and honey jar work, and I feel I should do a moving candle ritual, to move her to me, and him to someone else.

For his curse jar, I began with Conjureman Ali's skillet treatment of a baptized petition paper loaded with poppy seeds, alum, rust crushed glass, red peppers, and black pepper corns. I then placed it in a jar with vinegar, more red peppers, black pepper corn, alum, poppy seeds; after piercing it with 9 pins, 9 needles, and 9 nails. I then piled on black hen dung, some feathers from a black hen, insect and spider egg sacks, a dirt dauber nest, grave yard dirt and 9 .22 bullets. This jar I made sure not to fill all the way.

So far, I've heard that he's behaving paranoid and insecure, and suffered an injury that he won't see a doctor for but needs to (broken bone). I'm really hoping to get him to be volatile, to the point of being arrested

I have read the post on here and for some reason I have not seen or maybe I just missed it but I have a few questions. I have all the ingredients ready to make a vinegar jar to separate/break-up my girl-friend from her ex.
My confusion is about the following:
1) When I put their pictures in the mason jar, should they be place on the side of the bottle facing each other or one under the lid and the other on the bottom?
2) Do I have to write both their names backwards? If so, do I have to cross his name with her name. I want her to stay with me (setting up honey jar on her today along with a shaker sugar bottle) so I will write her name in RED.
3) What would be the best thing to write in a petition?
4) Should I deploy the bottle the same night that I make it or should I shake it until I get some results. Also, if I was to deploy at a cross road where they both travel, can I just pour the contents out or should I break the bottle there. Also, is it OK for me to drive over or walk over that same area where I pour it out or break the bottle?
5) I have personal concerns from her and his signature which I will use.

Honey jar and sugar bottle are complete. I need to do the vinegar jar tomorrow as it is Saturday. Appreciate any help I can get.

Hello, all!

I am getting slow-but-steady results with my current vinegar jar, but I think due to re-opening it multiple times I've let some of the energy go and I'd like to lay it in a graveyard and start a new one once my Hotfoot Powder and Goofer Dust from LM arrive. I'm going to "beef it up" this time around with a different set of ingredients, but before I do I want to do a lot more research and make sure I have all my ducks in a row before I actually assemble the new jar on the 13th (a Tuesday right before the full moon). I've been reading the "Hoodoo In Theory and Practice" site extensively but still have a couple specific questions that I can't find answers to.

1. It seems common to use dog feces to smear the name papers of the person you want to get dumped by the other; would cat feces work as well?

2. The woman and my primary rival is severely allergic to a specific, common kind of grain. I couldn't find any entry for it in my copy of "Hoodoo Herbs and Root Magic" so I figure it's "safe" (in that it has no positive, loving magical connotations or properties) and added it to her individual jar and plan to add it again to her new curse jar (which I am also making on the 13th); would it also be an effective addition in the new vinegar jar I plan on making? It's sort of incongruous - imagine adding, say, cornmeal to a mixture with alum, hot peppers, Goofer dust, etc. - but I want the relationship to be as much of an irritant to her as her allergen is; ergo. What do you guys think?

@LuckyMC, that all still sounds great. Strong motion, indeed!

I'm intrigued by the petition packet you used for your rival's individual curse jar. When I've used CM Ali's skillet-burned discord packets, they usually burn to ash. I've flushed them down the toilet in the past or saved the ashes to lay in a cemetery at a later date. Do you stop cooking your packet before that point, so it's only singed? I can't imagine it staying together enough to pierce with pins and needles the way that I cook them!

Hello, Lola,
Try this page: www.luckymojo.com/breakup.html
I don't know of any spell that is really easy. Success takes effort, perseverance, and patience.
But, hopefully, you'll find the right spell to perform on this page.
Take care

LuckyMC ,
Here's my note to self: "Never get LuckyMC mad at me". LOL
Good work!
LuckyMC wrote:She and my primary rival still have contact.

Hello, Newbie,
I will just post answers after each of your questions...
In the future, please try to read some of the posts and webpages before posting your questions.
Newbie wrote:I have read the post on here and for some reason I have not seen or maybe I just missed it but I have a few questions. I have all the ingredients ready to make a vinegar jar to separate/break-up my girl-friend from her ex.
My confusion is about the following:
1) When I put their pictures in the mason jar, should they be place on the side of the bottle facing each other or one under the lid and the other on the bottom?-It really doesn't matter because you will be shaking that jar and the pictures will move. But, for starters, out them in back-to-back
2) Do I have to write both their names backwards? -NO
If so, do I have to cross his name with her name. I want her to stay with me (setting up honey jar on her today along with a shaker sugar bottle) so I will write her name in RED.-Yes
3) What would be the best thing to write in a petition? -Here is a link to subforum on petition papers: petition-papers-and-name-papers-questio ... 21039.html
4) Should I deploy the bottle the same night that I make it or should I shake it until I get some results._No. You shake it a lot and light candles on it frequently. Then, after awhile (when you feel comfortable) then you deploy it. But work it for awhile.
Also, if I was to deploy at a cross road where they both travel, can I just pour the contents out or should I break the bottle there. Break it there. Or bury it where they might wall over. See this link: http://www.luckymojo.com/layingtricks.html
Also, is it OK for me to drive over or walk over that same area where I pour it out or break the bottle?-Absolutely not
5) I have personal concerns from her and his signature which I will use.

Honey jar and sugar bottle are complete. I need to do the vinegar jar tomorrow as it is Saturday. Appreciate any help I can get.

Hello, Ravenmaven,
Absolutely Do NOT use cat feces. NO!!!
The grain is a good idea (as long as you are absolutely sure that it has no properties). HOWEVER, I wouldn't use it in the jar just in case it has an effect other than what you have found. Instead, put her picture in a different jar and fill it with the grain. That way, you're not jeopardizing the work that you are doing.
Good luck with this!!
Take care

Wow, I'm SO glad I asked about the cat feces! And I like the idea of having a separate jar entirely with her picture in it and covering it in cornmeal. It sounds like it could be a good "helper spell" - simple enough that it won't drain or distract my energy and focus from my other work, but powerful as as a supplementary piece on my breakup altar.

Thank you for the prompt (like seriously, wow!) reply, Miss Aida! I'm taking your (and CM Ali and many other amazing forum members') advice and doing LOTS more preliminary research and asking more questions on the forum further in advance so that I feel confident and don't make mistakes in my second round of work. In that vein, is it okay if I run my ideas by practitioners on the forum to see if wiser and more experienced eyes than mine might spot any gaps or missteps on my part? I will keep each spell plan to its relevant thread/board.

Blessings!

I might be a little angry with him :)

He broke the bone the night I started singing the packet. I did a fairly large one, about 7"x7" for the petition sheet, and about the size of a cigar when rolled. The way I understand the operation, is you turn up the heat, throw in the packet when hot, then let it singe, while rolling it around. Then turn down the heat, and let it cool. Then up with the heat again.

The next day or so I heated it till the paper blackened. Then wrapping it in foil, and soaking it in vinegar, and continuing the process. I then took it out, and it was beginning to crumble, pierced it with the pins and needles, and dunked it in the vinegar, then added each ingredient. All while cursing and stating what each thing did. Nothing has been as dramatic as the night I heated him up, and he injured himself, but I've gotten to witness the insecurity, paranoia and desperation in his behavior. It's fairly comical, but I still wish him worse. I think I'll step it up with some candle work Saturday :)

Why is cat feces a bad thing? I'm not familiar with this, but it seems to be emphatically avoided. I'd really like to know why, since I'm aware of the why on hen feces.

Thanks,

Lucky

The reason I ask about the cat feces is, I have done name papers and picked up cat poop and then flushed... I'm assuming I shouldn't do that again, and it probably has to do with the capricious nature of cats, but I'd like to know the why. Usually there's good reasons not tho do things, or to do specific things in folk magic in general and Hoodoo in particular.

I really wish I had jumped on taking the correspondence course over a decade ago. Since then there's been a ton of obstacles for me to overcome in taking it :(

Hello, LuckyMC ,
The composition is different, the nature of the animal is different, and not part of Hoodoo practice.
Also, from what my Veterinarian tells me, it taste sweet and is like candy to other animals who eat it (including my dogs....UGH).

That makes sense now to me. I know chicken feces is very high in nitrogen and ammonia, which draws a lot of bacteria, which would encourage the decay process. It makes sense that feces that other animals look to as food would be undesirable for this sort of operation. I thought it might have more to do with the nature of cats in the view of hoodoo.

Thanks,

Trying to separate someone from their job and was thinking the vinegar jar will be best. I read that a purple skull candle should be burned on top with poppy seeds, and licorice root implanted inside skull. Im not which oil i should use to annoint the skull. This is what i plan on doing now its more than one boss that would have to come to.the decision of separating this person. Im thinking to do baby dolls and sewing the picture of the face of each boss on the doll and baptizing it and including them in my jar, secondly i want to put the same herbs thats in the skull in the jar alomg with a grinded habernero pepper, black pepper,ht sauce, glass, nails and of course the vinegar. Im going to inscribe fire john doe on the skull along with his birthday and his sign. Im confused as to do i inscribe all of the bosses name on the skull also. Im also doing a petition paper i know to write the name 9 times and turn it and write fire john doe. And in a cirle arpumd the names im to write discharge? S john doe now discharge him immediately his finances should be ruined. Does this sound right? I need to do this Asap. I want him to be in trouble with the law like get dui or into a fight is there anything i can put in the jar that would help me accomplish this.

Hello, queenofhearts,
I would certainly use one skull candle for one person. It's difficult to write all the names on just one skull candle (as it represents the skull of one person).
However, you could do that with the vinegar jar.
You might want to try a destruction oil: www.luckymojo.com/destruction.html
And here is a subforum to do exactly what you wish to do (financial ruin, lose job, etc.).
curses-for-financial-ruin,-job-loss,-an ... d21339770a
As far as the petition, take a look at this page for ideas (although you are on the right track). There's 9 pages of ideas for you:
petition-papers-and-name-papers-questio ... 39s60.html
I think that you have too much information for your petition paper. It ought to be one command (the most important:. Something like: "Financial destruction" Or "Fire ___"
Like I said, take a look at the petition paper subforum. Somewhere, there is a graphic on how to do this.
Hope this helps
Take care

Ok thank you just to be clear on the vinegar jar. I put my target along with his commands picture in the jar along with my petition paper saying fire my target? As far as the skull im going to order a destruction oil and two black skulls or purple? Are there any airr members located inVirginia? I only have my phone to browse online and i have so much that i want to do. Ive done candle work myself and ive gotten great results. I used a red skull candle abd it worked perfect. Ive never done a destruction one though.
I did have a friend travel to his home country to perform a sacrificing ceremony. For me the work was perfect but unfortunately i dont have that money this time. I didn't know LM had rootworkers then or else i couldve saved a lit.

Its like i need a rootworker as my psychiatrist right now. I was told someone was doing work on me which i do truly believe because i get this spiritual evil feeling in my heart that feels like someone is attacking me. I do remember stepping in some yellow powder that was really soft when i went to pick my son up at my exes house and since then me and my husband have had nothing but fights and divorce filings. My ex is really into voodoo but he sacrifices goats and chickens asnakes appear but he goes home to do it but comes back with leaves that he eats and he pours alcohol on the floor and touches his wrist and elbows on the ground its interesting but now that im thinking maybe he did something to me because he talks his language when doin it. Is there a cleansing that i can do for my husband and myself. I actually forgot about that.

Hello all. I am very new to all of this and would appreciate any advice I could get. I recently ordered a honey jar kit and would like to start a vinegar jar tonight. My honey jar hasn't shipped yet,but is it ok to have both things going at the same time?? My goal is to break up a bad relationship and bring the guy to me. The guy has always told me he loves me and the only thing that's keeping him with the girl is their child that's not even a year old yet. I plan to put vinegar, nails, pins, needles, poppy seeds, cayenne pepper, red hot papers,a lemon sliced in half, glass,a picture of him and her (not together) with my petition wrote on their pictures, his in red, hers in black. I also will put a couple of his pubic hairs in it. I want their relationship to end as a couple and for them to separate, but I want them to maintain a decent enough relationship to co-parent for their child. Any suggestions on how to go about this?? Thanks. :)

Hello, Queen of heart,
First of all, use a black skull candle
Secondly, you can find a root worker either at AIRR or at Hoodoo Psychics. All of us are certified practitioners.
Unless you want an in-person cleansing, most of the root workers can help you. I'm not sure if anybody lives in that State.
Find them here: http://readersandrootworkers.org
or
www.hoodoopsychics.com
As far as the ceremony that you told us about, I am not familiar with Voodoo. But I am VERY familiar with Santeria (which is pretty close to Santeria). What you had described to us is just a way of greeting and presenting a gift (alcohol) to the Orisha. That's nothing to be afraid of.
However, if you feel that you are cursed, do indeed acquire a reading and then see if your rootworker can help you.
I do know for a fact that Lou Florez is a Santero. And he is an AIRR member.
I hope this helps

Hello, Newbie2K14,
Welcome to the Lucky Mojo forum!
If you wish, why not go to the introduction thread and introduce yourself?
Anyway, it's OK to have 2 bottles going on at the same time.
Some rootworkers use the moon phases and some don't. I use them. I would personally start the break up jar during the waning moon and the love work during the waxing moon.
But, nevertheless, you are on the right track about yur break up jar. Just check out all the posts on this subforum to give you ideas. And here is a link for you:

Wishing you the best

Hello, all! Sorry in advance for what I fear will be quite the lengthy post - I'm remaking my vinegar jars soon and I want to make sure that I do my very best and make them as strong as I can. I'm seeing decent movement on my current one - no huge strides, but getting some feedback from my target that he and my rival are feeling some stress in their relationship - but I'm also getting signs that it's probably best to deploy it soon and make a new, stronger jar. For example, today my work with it felt very strong and good, but a droplet or two formed on the edge of the lid and leaked onto my hand. Nothing a good cleansing didn't take care of, but it's like the jar is getting impatient and wants to be laid out in the graveyard already! I'm probably going to bury it either this coming Saturday or next Tuesday. Is that too long to wait, do you think?

So, here are my notes for what's going into the new jars and the exact steps of how I'm going to assemble it, based on what I've read on this forum, this thread in particular, and the LM pages on vinegar jars and bottle spells here: http://www.luckymojo.com/bottlespells.html and http://www.luckymojo.com/fourthievesvinegar.html

For the Breakup Jar:
1. Two petition packets/name papers, made from a torn photo of the two of them (a black and white laser print copy on regular office paper, so they dissolve more quickly), and based on the method described on the Four Thieves vinegar page: I have the photo, would fold it (so her image is going away from me), moisten the crease with Break Up and Separation oil, and tear it. Then I'd write their names, birth dates, and the petitions I have drafted on both and five-spot them with Breakup, Separation, and Bend Over Oil. His I'll fold around some poppy seeds, black mustard seeds, red pepper flakes, cayenne, black salt, alum (note: in both petitions I will make sure to specify that their communication will dissolve into angry, frustrating, and toxic misunderstanding and miscommunication, to give the alum direction), and three strands of his hair; on hers, I'll smear some dog feces first (especially over the part with her name on it) and then fold it around the same herbs, as well as some graveyard dirt and Goofer Dust, and a sample of her original handwriting (a sliver of an affection note she wrote for him; unfortunately it's the best personal effect of hers I have, no hair or worn clothes, and I don't have much of the note left so it's a small piece; is that okay?). I'll pin each packet shut with a long T-pin or needle dipped in Breakup Oil, then add them to the jar.

2. The following "household" herbs and minerals: red pepper flakes, cayenne pepper, seeds from either a Ghost Pepper or habanero or hot sauce made from one of these peppers, black salt, black mustard seeds, poppy seeds, alum granules/powder, black peppercorns and ground black pepper, ground mustard, soured milk, lemon juice (from a half rotten - but not quite moldy - lemon), and black vinegar (a Chinese variety that I've had for years and isn't really good to eat or cook with anymore).

3. The following "specialized" items (i.e. things you wouldn't find in my pantry or under my kitchen sink, haha): a small (crushed) dirt dauber's nest, black hen feathers (should I cut them up before I add them?), dog fur (from a dark brown dog - the closest I could find to black), cat fur (from my cat, who is a handsome tabby rather than a black cat - I know it's nontraditional, but I feel okay about it because my cat hates all dogs everywhere with the fiery passion of a thousand, hissing suns), trimmings from my cat's claws (the sharp tips), dog feces, Goofer dust, graveyard dirt (which I will collect myself when I bury the first vinegar jar in the cemetery), toilet water, 9 rusty pins, 9 rusty nails, 9 rusty needles, broken glass, Breakup Oil, Separation Oil, Bend Over Oil, and miscellaneous dead insects (mostly moths, maybe the odd beetle or spider). If you think it would be wise to add more of his hair and her handwriting outside of their petition packets as well, I have enough that I can (especially of his hair - I'm running low on her handwriting so I want to be sparing with how I use it).

For the Rival's Jar:
1. A petition packet/name paper made from a photo of her (printed out in black and white with a laser printer on regular office paper), five-spotted with Bend Over Oil, Breakup, and Separation Oil, smeared with dog feces, and folded around a small piece (like, one letter - lol) of her original handwriting, crushed black pepper, red pepper flakes, black mustard seeds, poppy seeds, black peppercorns, alum powder/granules, Hotfoot powder, Goofer Dust, and graveyard dirt, and pinned shut with a long T-pin or needle dipped in Bend Over Oil.

2. The following "household" herbs and minerals: red pepper flakes, cayenne pepper, seeds from either a Ghost Pepper or habanero or hot sauce made from one of these peppers, black salt, black mustard seeds, poppy seeds, alum granules/powder, black peppercorns and ground black pepper, ground mustard, soured milk, lemon juice, black vinegar.

3. The following "specialized" items: a small (crushed) dirt dauber's nest, black hen feathersdog feces, Goofer dust, graveyard dirt, Hotfoot powder, toilet water, 9 rusty pins, 9 rusty nails, 9 rusty needles, broken glass, Breakup Oil, Separation Oil, Bend Over Oil, and miscellaneous dead insects (mostly moths, maybe the odd beetle or spider).

Additionally, I will make a small "Helper Jar" to curse the rival, with her photo buried in yellow cornmeal, as per Miss Aida's excellent suggestion (my rival is highly allergic to corn).

As you can see the Rival's Jar is fairly similar to the Breakup Jar, minus the dog and cat fur and cat claws, plus Hotfoot Powder. Is there anything else I can add to the Rival Jar to give it more "oomph"? Should I add Hotfoot Powder to the Breakup Jar, too, to drive them away from each other? (My concern is that it might drive my target away from me, too.) And is there anything here that jumps out at you as a bad idea for an ingredient?

Thank you so, so much for all your help and advice!

I forgot to add: I might be able to get access to some ingredients that I could not find listed in this thread or in my copy of "Hoodoo Herb and Root Magic," namely: a dried scorpion tail with the stinger still attached, rattlesnake bones (sadly the ribs rather than the venomous fangs), other kinds of wasp nests (paper wasp nest, oak galls), and honey locust thorns. Do any of those sound good, or have you worked with them before?

Hi ravenmaven,

I don't know about oak galls being used traditionally for this sort of thing but it could make sense. Oak galls are used in some traditions as a mordant when making inks for use in sorcery. Other wasp nests like paper wasp nests are used in curse jars and bottles, along with insect and vermin egg sacks and nests.

Your new bottle sounds like it's shaping up to be scary.

I've had some more movement on the curse jar. He's had to see a doctor for something extremely serious but not fully disclosed to me, but I know it's not related to the broken bone, which he still refuses to seek attention for. I am pretty sure it's a serious worsening of a pre existing condition.

I think I'm going to do another break up jar. The last one did some serious damage, but although it's fixed at the cemetery, I think just one more push will do it completely and fully. I am leaning towards something along the lines of the curse jar with him. I'm going to see about getting a reading, when I have a day off and some privacy, to work the best strategy for breaking them up, keeping them separated, and bringing about reconciliation.

LuckyMC and Miss Aida, thank you (I think, haha)! I actually took a lot of cues from your posts, LuckyMC. It would have been a lot less of a punch until I saw your list of ingredients and explained your process.

I'll follow your advice and go with the paper wasp nest over the oak galls. I think I'm also going to get a boa constrictor skin (shed) and add pieces of it to the breakup jar, since one of the things I know he gets most frustrated with is feeling trapped, constricted, or restricted by false expectations or otherwise, and that seems to be the weakest point of their relationship - he's polyamorous, she's basically monogamous. That's how his last relationship ended, in fact, he dumped her because she was also monogamous and just never going to be happy unless he was monogamous, too. So a snake like a constrictor seems appropriate for a breakup jar! Should I add a piece of the skin to the rival's individual jar, to try to constrict and suffocate her attempts to dominate the situation?

I'm going to lay the old jars either next Tuesday/Saturday (the first of the waning moon, several days after the full moon), or the Tuesday Saturday after that (waning moon, closer to the new moon) to give all my materials time to arrive. This week I'm going to prep by scope out the cemetery to see if there's a particular spirit who feels sympathetic to my cause and bring it flowers.

One general question about working hoodoo in general that applies here is: is it okay to assemble all the dry ingredients ahead of time in the jar I mean to use, minus the personal effects and petitions, so it's tidier and easier to assemble and seal the jar the day I assemble the spell?

Hi Ravenmaven,
I pre-assemble dry ingredients for clients all the time prior to receiving their personal concerns. Just anoint the roots, hard curious, etc in the client's name and with their petition in mind and you are good to go!

I started a sour/vinegar jar contain: vinegar, sour milk, lemon juice, mold, hot pepper sauce, red pepper, 9needles pin nails, photo x on target in black, red on the other, sprinkled hot foot break up/separation oil on her photo, b/s oil on his, tore them up separate, and petition paper of what I want. Candle I write there names break up in between them wrote what I want on the candle while pricking and yelling at it calling their names. I dress the candle with the oils and hotfoot powder but I forgot to put the broken glass goofers powder and break up powder in the jar. Will this still work? I just dusted the candle with the other two powders. Is that okay or will I need to make another?

Hello, Lemon55 ,
It will probably still work but just a little weaker.
Personally, I wouldn't use Goofer Dust in there because that could hurt the one that you want.
Take care

Miss Aida, I hadn't considered that point about the Goofer dust potentially hurting the person I want and care for. Is it possible to include it in a vinegar jar for a relationship if my petition is consistently about the *relationship* being hurt and falling apart? I don't have a lot of strong hoodoo sachets on my side except Goofer and Hotfoot for this work, but I don't want to include the latter in the relationship jar since it could send him away.

I had Breakup Oil I planned on adding - should I just stick to that?

I haven't assembled and sealed the new jar yet - that's next Tuesday or Saturday - so I have time to start over.

Thank You your the greatest:-). I figured as much so I started a new jar with all ingredients minus the hot foot powder and goofer dust. I didn't have cat and dog hair so I just added a photo of a black cat and black dog and a little c/d poo. I worked this jar everyday along with a black vigil candle and a honey jar. I threw the ol jars at the crossroads by his parents house. I was thinking about working on a attracting target to a new lover and a come to me for him. One think I've seen are my candles are moving popping hissing tearing and burning clean. He called yesterday asked about the kids sound like he had more to say but couldn't.
