Hello, Queen_of_Wands,
My educated guess is that the actual honey jar is just fine. But the candles that you burned would be considered null and void (so far).
Also, Miss cat has previously stated that she does not use tea lights on top of the jars. Instead, she likes to see the symbols that the wax makes when melted.

I light a 4 inch Black Cat brand candle on top of the honey jar. I light the tea-alight candles around the honey jar.

Red Skull Candle and Going with the Flow

Hello!! Just wanted to let you all know that I love this forum. I have learned so much! I just did my skull candle on the guy that I have been seeing for 7 months. He can be a bit resistant due to past heartbreak and all, so I have to do healing while doing the other stuff. Had two readings and found out that he is the one for me, but I have a lot of work to do on him. I wanted to put it on the forum just to make sure that I am doing this right or if there was anything that I should add for my next skull candle. Also, I wanted to share with others what I did. I have a honey jar going too! ♥

1) I took the skull and inserted the personal concern inside. ( His semen)
2) I wrote on the skull all the things I want him to think about in regards to me.
3) Dressed the skull candle with Love Me, Stay With Me, Influence, Fire Of Love and Follow me Boy.. also some vaginal fluids (teehee)
4) Placed petition under skull candle in red ink (My name over his name)
5) Rolled the skull into love herbs (red and pink rose petals, deer tongue, catnip, damiana, and some other herbs) I also stuffed deer tongue into the mouth of the skull too

6) Said a silent prayer.. the 23rd psalms, meditated and then began to blow the tobacco smoke as the candle was lit and spoke to it. For example, "You are passionately and romantically in love with (insert name).... You think of (insert name) in a lovingly and sweet way.. you yearn to be close to (insert name)

I also bought a honeysuckle plant with a big pot and began to bury my wax left overs in it too! It is said that honeysuckle symbolizes a lover's embrace in its clinging growing habits.

Hi everyone,

I am trying to help an ex become comfortable with her sexuality and Miss Aida suggested using a skull candle plus Clarity and Crucible and I also decided to purchase red candles. I've been reading this thread and some suggested writing down what I would want my target to do and put it inside the skull. Do I dress the skull with both the clarity and crucible oils and should I also dress the red candles with both oils? Is there a particular prayer I could say when I light up the candles and how long should I light them up? Any advice would be great. Thanks!

Hello spsr,

I would definitely dress dress the skull candle with both oils. IF you are using the red candles to help support the work you are doing on the skull candle than yes dress them with the same oils. I kind of wonder if you might not add a love oil, maybe queen Elizabeth root to the mix and write into the petition that she be able to love herself more.

Hi spsr,

If this were me I would probably work the skull for increasing self confidence and self acceptance during the waxing moon. (we are in this phase right now I believe). If we happened to have been in a waning phase I would probably just reword it to decrease self doubt and decrease negative self judgments. You can always get two skull candles and work one during the waxing for increasing what you want to increase and work the other during the waning to get rid of what you want removed.

I finished my 7 day skull candle ritual. I have the remaining wax from the skull and the candles plus my target's concerns/picture and my petition. I read that I should bury these but it's kind of difficult for me since I live in the city. Are there any other options?

This is going to be a weird question. I've been doing a skull candle spell over the course of the past 5 nights. The intention is to influence the target into positive thinking, reminding him that he's a beautiful, wonderful person who is deserving of love and happiness, etc. Got all the right herbs and oils, petition, personal concern, etc. The first 3 nights went smooth, and then the past two nights something really strange has happened.

I've fallen asleep at my altar when talking to the skull.

Mind you, when I start, I'm wide awake (woo hoo, chronic insomnia!). It's at an hour I'm commonly awake, but my target is fast asleep. The first few nights, I wasn't even sleepy by the end. I was still up for several hours. The only other spellwork I'm doing is a honey jar and a candle for St. Martha. I don't feel tired at all, I just fall asleep.

The divination I did on it suggested that by sweet-talking the skull, and visualizing my target asleep and vulnerable in his bed, I might be putting myself in a place (so to speak) where I feel the most physically and mentally safe (as in, in his bed, next to him), and it knocks me out. Not that I'm doing anything wrong, I'm just so into it that I feel like I'm there with him and fall asleep.

Is this... is this a thing that happens? I'm no stranger to candle magic, but this is a new one for me.

Sounds like you're getting relaxed by the candle fire in addition to feeling somewhat influenced by your spell also.
You could also be connecting to him (which is making you sleep because he's asleep)
Or other factors (none to be alarmed about).
No way of really telling without some feedback from your target (or else get a reading) such as signs or movement

I'm trying to keep the faith. I got my LM products a few days ago and that same night I worked a spell on my target. I want my target (whom I've dated before) to be more financially support and romantic. I anointed a red skull with Follow Me Boy, Cleo May, and Jezebel oils. I did this after I carved his name and a couple of words like "Spoil Me" and "Call Me".

I used a picture of him (that I printed from the internet) and crossed his name in the back. I also wrote a petition on a separate sheet of brown paper (torn on all four sides). I also anointed the petition paper with Dragon's Blood. I prayed AND recited my petition. I have been praying every night.

So far I haven't heard from him. I know he is interested in me because the last time we texted each other I was upset with him but I wasn't harsh. I believe he's a little insecure so he's afraid to reach out again in fear of rejection. The last time we "took a break" I eventually texted him (after about two months) and he quickly texted back and he asked me out for dinner. I'm positive I will get the same reaction but I honestly want him to not be afraid and take initiative.

Anyways, I have yet to hear from him. The last time I heard from him was February 21. I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong but I am not going to give up. Thanks for the advice/tips in advice.

Spells don't work overnight.
You have to have patience and you can't fret over the spells.
Just continue to do them. Sounds like you're on the right track.
Some of my spells have taken months to manifest. Do you know when? When I have forgotten about them!

I have a question about working with Skull Candles. Ok I bave read ppl say they hollow out the bottom, add pics or personal concerns and place a petition under it. then I read ppl say they used tobacco which Im going to assume even a cigarette or cigar would be fine, and blew smoke into the face of the candle. and spoke thru the candle what they wanted the target to think. Heres's the real question, do you use all these methods or just one or the other and is there any psalms or prayers to use?? Please clarify the exact method for me please.

First off, I love lucky mojo products. I recent purchased a red skull candles with the intentions of making my ex think of me. I went ahead wrote on it as if his head was the candle and he was thinking of me. So I go ahead a light it with the intentions of burning it for 7 days, a little here and there. On the 3rd night I light it, the candle suddenly melts down to the center, wax running all down the tin I put it in. Only thing left is the bottom of it with a very small flame going (the other times I burned it, the flame was high). Now I dressed it with the write oils, said my petitions, and put a circle of catnip around it, clockwise with the idea that a nice love herb surrounding it would help. I'm just worried that the candle burned down before it reached the seven days. Is that a bad sign? I also have a honey jar going. Someone let me know if my skull candle melting down like a flood is bad sign. =(

As financialsuccess2013 points out above, skull candles only last a night if burned continuously. It really is a tradeoff between one massive push to overcome resistance or seven smaller ones to wear down resistance...

Think about how to best treat the target, and work accordingly.

I like this idea some have posted in this thread, of putting the target's personal concerns, photos, petition paper, name paper, and such into the skull. However, I'm unclear on the burning of these materials with the candle. I'm asking out of a general desire to learn and to plan out spells I might do with skull candles:

• How will it affect the target when his/her concerns are destroyed by fire? Or the spell when the petition is destroyed by fire?
• What are our alternatives if we would prefer to be able to reuse the concerns (for example, if concerns are hard to come by)?
• How might the burning wad affect wax divinations?
• What do you do when the burning wad makes the candle burn weirdly/won't go out? Compared to a wick, a wad can make a fireball...

I welcome everyone's advice. Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure what a "wad" is but I will try to answer your questions:
Don't make petition papers too large or else it will consume the candle rapidly. And you might have a huge fire.
I drill holes into the top of the skull candle at angles to fill it with a small amount of herbs. Heat the wax that came out of the drill and refill the hole
Drill holes into eyes and put small images of whatever I want the target to see. Heat the wax that came out of the drill and refill the hole
Drill holes to the side of the candle and just place small petitions at each side (don't use a lot of paper) Heat the wax that came out of the drill and refill the hole.
The burning of personal belongings takes it up to the spirit world for manifestation. But, if you don't want to use the personal concerns for that then, don't do it. If you have limited amounts, save them for a doll, or mojo, etc.
Have never had a problem with wax divination (with or without insertions of items).
The only problem would be if you have too much paper in them

My oversight, Miss Aida - I should have been clearer:

I usually fold the concerns and herbs into the petition paper and/or photos - folding towards or away from me, turning the combination 90 degrees, folding again, and so on until it can't be folded any further. After I place this into or under a candle that is lit, what I'm eventually left with is this wax-soaked, flammable wad of paper, concern and herb.

Instead, perhaps I'll try placing the papers, herbs and concerns in smaller groupings distributed throughout the candle? I'll certainly try using less paper. Thanks for the ideas, Miss Aida!

I have another skull candle coming in the mail (many thanks to my dad who told me to buy something that will make me happy today, lol). I used it before by writing the targets name, and what I want him to think about. Some have mentioned that they used cigars - that's new to me. Can someone give me the run down on how I can use the skull candle to influence my ex's thoughts? I am working with an oil called, Fire of Love and even Fast Luck oil.

I drill tiny hole by the ears and talk into the ears. I talk to it as if I am hypnotizing it.
I stuff small pictures into their eyes so that they see what I want them to see.

Hey everyone,

I'm going to do a skull candle on my ex's mother, who much to my chagrin, was never the biggest fan of me (and sometimes with good reason). I've gone through counselling and have really worked on myself, but nothing seems to be changing her mind (which is understandable, as I broke her little boys heart because I had a lot of growing up to do).

Now that I have changed, I'm trying to reconcile with him, but I am very much aware that she is key to the process. I'm currently working a honey jar on her (pink and blue candles), but I was thinking of dressing a white skull with influence oil. I don't have any personal belongings of hers, so I was wondering if I could just hollow out the base, insert her name, then write a petition and place it under the plate. Would this be an effective way of causing her to think better of me?

The skull candle will help affect her mind. To have her think better of you the influence oil and petition will help. If you can find a photo of her to write the petition over that would help to create a stronger link. Hey everyone,

How are you? So I have been puttering around here for a number of years and have yet had the guts enough to ask some questions. I have been with a great woman for over 8 years and I wanted to spice thing up so I basically worked a passion/ lust spell with some influence based on various articles in the forum. I worked a Red Skull candle, but I carved out a hollow piece and put my lovers hairs, a nail clipping, and a patch with menstral blood. I put in some influencing power and Dixie love with it and sealed it up with wax. I carved my desires and her name. put influencing oil and annointed it with seman. I had a petition and drew a picture of what I would like to happen. It lit fine and was steady. Now I know the spells work, but my concern is with laying the tricks. What I would like to hear from a root worker is how to dispose of the wax and the petition paper? Can I bury these with her personal concerns in the wax or should I hold onto these? I don't want the spell to get cut off and not work. I have read the article on laying tricks, but nothing says about personal concerns such as hair and stuff. I have no problem burying it in her yard. I just don't want adverse effects. Thank you all and look forward to the response.

Thank you Aura and Joseph! Here is what I did...

* I recited two prayers from the songs of Solomon
* Then I took a cigarette the first day (yuck) and today I used a Black & Mild (mini cigar).

The first night I thought my concentration sucked as I was sleepy and VERY afraid I was doing something wrong. I smoked the cigarette after each time I told the candle what I wanted to think, and tonight I did the same BUT I also took a breather in between because there was so much smoke around. I envisioned myself in front of my target and also surrounded by about 3 other me's from different times of my life that he knew me with all of us talking at once or one pretty much rubbing his shoulders seducing him (excessive I know, but I felt like that version of me was loosening him up). Now in between all the things I asked for him to think, I visualized a scenario with him either repeating what I said or actually seeing us together (for instance his seeing us happy together). Here is what I would do differently should I need to do this again (not speaking nor putting doubt in my work out there). I would use incense the next time. The speaking thru the smoke can be harsh and cam very much so throw off your concentration where as incense just burns and burns on its own. To each his own, but this was a learning experience and tonight I feel like I ROCKED IT!!!

P.S. Do I need to still smoke and speak thru the cigar smoke or can I now use incense?? I'm gonna try to burn this candle for 7-9 nights.

By all means give up the tobacco, as Joseph Magnuson recommended. And since you're living with an asthmatic person, you might want to give up the incense, too. Dress the candles with oil and leave it at that -- or use an aroma diffuser with condition oil in water, or a daily room spray.

Dragon's blood is a good choice -- love-drawing, money-drawing, and protective. Lucky Mojo sells a whole line of Dragon's Blood products:

Yea honestly I now have to use an inhaler again it seems that I may have bronchitis again. I didnt have the shortness of breathe until the spell but then again around a certain time of yr during high pollen I experience this. I was just so afraid that the spell wouldn't come out right. I'm still afraid but will take your advice. Im not willing to kill myself nor my asthmatic kid over this. Oh and how long (mins or hoyrs), do I let the candle burn nightly??

Hey guys. I am on Day 6 of the Skull Candle. Is it normal that the enclosed picture starts to burn? The picture of my target I placed inside started to singe a little so I just snuffed the candle out. I really hope that this does not ruin the work I put into it.

I never put photos or petitions IN candles always underneath what they are sitting on or in.
My skull candle sits on a saucer and I put the petition and photo under neath the saucer.

I'm not sure what you can do now though.

Shantilly Lace

Well I did it that way because I read on here that you can load the candle with the picture. This morning I after the post I read that if the picture and etc burns that then means its being taken up to the spirit world so I guess its burning was a good thing

So I finished my Skull last night (or early this am). The light pretty much put itself out this time and my question is what do I do with the remains? I live in an apartment building so how can I bury it, plus the nearest crossroads are like main streets near me and Im allergic to almost EVERYTHING in regards to placing it in a pot and burying it, so what else can I do? I mean if I have to go and @ta up last night to dig a hole in the front yard maybe I'll have to do that but is there any other alternatives?

Well my target and I just got into an arguement. He told me he" doesnt take me seriously and 80 perxent of the time Im always joking. He is pretty much angry I didnt have sex with him a couple months ago and more so pissed I won't send him pictures of my ass, but we're technically not even dating! I am completely cobfused and a littel distraught. This was our first heated discussion literally in years. I can not believe him right now. I feel like my work didn't take but I have heard of this happening before. Ugh is this normal?
