Hi, I am wondering what do you think about the following trick: mix break-up powder with crossroads dirt, vinegar and war water, and dispose of it close to a property (early in the morning to increase the effect!) while cursing someone to sour their life and break-up their couple when they pass over the trick by foot or on car? It's a mix of ideas, just curious...

I want to break up a couple but do not want the guy in the couple otherwise cursed/harmed. I have done several spells but none with true personal effects or on their property, so I've had limited success and am ready to go do the deal on the property.

Is it still okay to spread Break Up powders on their property?

Hi Dragonfly it sounds ok to me. I would prefer it to be near where they walk over, so near a gate (if you can't do it near their door) and/or near the doors of the car. I also would dust the car handles of the door lightly with break up powder. not sure I would use the crossroads dirt, as I would prefer graveyard dirt, so I'm sure someone else will clarify that for you.

Yes you can spread break up powders on the property and also things like inflammatory confusion and war water. This will have the effect of making them fight and be unhappy with each other. Not a curse to ruin his life.

You could dust things they may touch, add some goofer dust or hotfoot powders too.

I don't know if this is the right section to post or not, but I am unsure of where to do so.

I came home from work tonight and was very agitated all day. To make a long story short, my parents moved in with me last year and have been making my life a task to handle. I fell into financial trouble after they moved in and since they helped me, they have an idea that they are able to do as they please.

I set up an altar about 2 days ago, previously I was using a nightstand for my candles and honey jar. I began a moving candle spell, involving a red adam and eve, so I needed a larger space. It was centered in my room, which I kept locked.

My mother claims to have gone into my room to put away a nail polish- I don't believe that, they had been poking around and I kindly asked them to leave my room and belongings alone- I think that made them suspicious. She went in and saw my altar- on it was various oils, my moving candle spell, a honey jar and a blue vigil light dressed with oils to being fast luck. I left the vigil light burning.

SHE BLEW THE VIGIL LIGHT OUT AND PRAYED THAT WHATEVER SPELLS I WAS CASTING WOULD NOT COME TO PASS.

She told me this and said I was doing the devil's work.

Here is my issue- she completely f***** my vigil spell as blowing it out means the spell is finished. I had just lit it about the day prior.What can I do? Should I buy a new one? In regards to the Adam and Eve and honey jar...should I start fresh? I feel like all my work has been sabotaged. I am incredibly pissed to say the least.

They are also demanding I tear it down, so I have to figure out my options sooner than later.

Wow. Just wow. I'm so sorry. How old are you, and how old are your parents? You say they helped you financially....how exactly? By paying rent to you? Or just giving you money? Is the lease or mortgage in your name only or are they on it? The answers will give me an idea of what to suggest...

I am 25, they are in their early 50s- they helped by paying rent for the past 2 months as I was struggling, however, they lived here rent free for about 6 before I lost my source of income. Initially, when I leased my home- my mother agreed to be a cosigner, since my credit isn't that established- she now uses that as leverage to acct like I am living in HER HOME, not the other way around.

I think you will need to start the work from scratch. But you also need to be able to finish it without someone destroying it - so this issue must be addressed. Here are some thoughts:

You could try to explain that what you are doing is within the Christian tradition - certainly not the devil's work. This should relieve their anxiety. You were secretive, they wondered why, they reverted to " we have to protect our sweet 4 year old " mentality and went into your room. There they saw things which they did not understand and jumped to conclusions ... incorrect conclusions. Your Mother did what she did because she thought it would protect you.

There is a good bit of info on the forum here about how hoodoo is Christian. Some points to remember:

The "spells" are really prayers.

Certain plants are associated with certain conditions ( they aid in carrying the prayer ). Genesis 1:29-31 talks about how these herbs were given by God and that they are good.

Candles are a visual representation of a prayer - have been for centuries. The early Christians used them - the practice can still be seen in Catholic churches and Orthodox churches across the country AND the practice is still vibrant in hoodoo.

It is in the Christian tradition to pray in secret (Matthew 6:5-6). This should help them understand why you did not do this openly.

Having said all this, when you address the subject, remember you are an adult too. Let them know that while you appreciate their concern, there has been a misunderstanding and you need to clear up some things. Calmly and firmly explain to them the Christian roots of what you are doing, in order for them not to worry. Depending on what they have been told in their backgrounds, this may go well ... or not so well. They need reassurance that you are OK with God - so let them know.

As far as your living arrangements, I know you are grateful for their help and should be. But they should appreciate the free rent they received too. It seems that moving in with you has made your parents revert back to "parent supervising child mode" - this is not good. You are a grown up and should have privacy and respect; if they do not treat you as an adult ... you should take action to get your own place as soon as you can ( if your parents refuse to leave ). When the lease nears an end ... you will have to decide what is best for you and your parents. Best wishes.

The only spell that was not completed was the 7 day money vigil- the honey jar and moving candle spell were not tampered with or lit, so I will let those finish and probably do a second round for extra oomph. I have already had a reading- 3 days ago actually- that said I needed to move with haste and it would be the most life changing decision i will make thus far...for the better....I was told my parents would advise me not to...after tonight, I am more than happy to leave.

I don't think the vigil light is ruined. Who do you think is more spiritually powerful, you or your mother? Relight it, pray over it and with it for a while, reaffirming that connection again with the powers that you work with. Next time you leave the house, put the candle out yourself. As long as they still live there, I would get a lock on my door and be the only one to keep a key.

Also, start working at setting boundaries with your parent's about acceptable behavior. It might take a lot of commitment and repetition, and having to harden yourself to them a bit, but basically, patiently, and calmly assert yourself as an adult, and if they don't treat you that way, with the respect they would give any adult, tell them they can leave. Give them a 30 day notice (or whatever) and if you have to, kick them out, if that is what takes for them to get the message not treat you and your things with disrespect.

I was thinking about something and I don't know if it's feasible, or if I'm in the right thread/topic, I hope it's the case... Anyway, the idea is as follows: is it possible to do a wax or other poppet of a person, to bless it, etc...and to bury it in the property in order to curse someone to love you to obsession (I'm not saying that this is a good way to get someone no matter what! ). Or, to make a poppet and to bury it on the property while cursing the target for whatever reason (to sour his/her life, to get away, to lose money....). Can you also curse someone by proxy (doll or picture)? I guess it's feasible, but better to have access to the property, right? The main question is if by burying the object (doll, jar...), the curse stays on the property and works continuously, or it is considered more of a disposal? For break-up bottles it says that they can be buried where the target passes frequently to affect him/her. Thanks in advance for your feedback!

The act of burying it on or near somewhere they travel, is deployment, so working the spell continuously.
It isn't a disposal unless you want it to end and deal with it properly.

And yes you can curse by proxy.

I am not sure you would want to bury a love poppet though, it feels rather negative. Better to work the poppet lovingly and if you wish in a dominating manner (you will come to me) so that it can keep the flow going. Burying the poppet of someone you want would leave them suffocating in a dark place, not something you want linked with you. But I may be wrong.

Cat talks about a lot in this forum how people used make shift alters for their work. They would take them down and put them up as needed. Some where in a box that opened up into it, some carried them with them. Some people can have them out all the time ( not you). you need to do the work when you are alone and able to and pack it up when not in session. Some people wrap the candles in paper bags and put a rubber band around them when not in use. I agree with the other post I would consider the work killed. If the candles blew out naturally it would be a sign and relighting with intention and prayer would be different. Only thing hard to me seems how to pack a moving candle spell up, other work like jars are easy, that one you will have to be creative, maybe mark some how where to place them when in use. If it were me and this happened to my alter I would restart all the work. I have heard that some people who need to keep their works under wraps will rent a storage unit and set up their alters there. If that is possible for you you might consider doing it. Or if you have a friend that would let you set things up at their house that might work to. Otherwise you may have to do things that are not moving candle spells that would be easily packed up and taken back out.

When you plead the blood (or pray for divine help in some other way), you know that your mother's assumptions about your work are false. You also know that "all things" including the herbs and curious on your altar, "work together for the good of those who love God" (Romans 8:28). You were probably right to start over from scratch -- but also realize that there is no reason to believe the Lord would shut down positive work developed by many generations of His people.

Hi! I hope it's okay for me to revisit an old thread, but I have a question and couldn't find an answer.

I want to send two kinds of tricked presents: Love Me/Follow Me Boy-tricked presents for my targt and Breakup/Separation-tricked presents for him and his other woman. For the former, I was thinking of periodically sending clothing and handmade gifts with oils or one of my hairs dressed in Follow Me oil, tucked into the fabric and that sort of thing - but is there something more powerful that I can do? Something that will work towards tying his nature to me?

For the Breakup/Separation presents, I was thinking of sending some artwork with Breakup and Separation powder or oil glued to the back of it before I frame it, and - this is the idea I'm both more interested in and more uncertain of - making a ceramic teapot and matching mugs with the powders mixed in to the glaze. That way every time they make tea or hot beverages it'll warm up the powders, but since they're glazed it won't come out into the beverage (which is good, since they're inedible

).

And, finally, can I send artwork/ceramics with the same treatment, but using Love Me and Follow Me Boy powders instead, or will that just bring my target and the other woman closer together?

This is a little bit confusing.
I would just concentrate on one thing at a time.
Start with either the break up or the love strategy. Stay focused on that.
If they are not touching the tricks, I am not sure how it will affect them. And do you really want to take a chance of them breaking the art work (it's a break up product, right? You never know what kind of affect that will have).
Tying his nature? That would require his nature.

I'll try mixing breakup powders into ceramics glaze to start with - it seems like my vinegar jars need more help than my honey jar (which has been working pretty well!) so maybe this will cover the breakup work from another angle. I have a question. About a month ago I lost a well paying job because of a mouthy coworker. I'm about to lose everything financially. Thats including my home and pet because I can't secure new employment and my savings are running out. My old coworker is leading a charmed life, basically sitting rent free at a family members with her fiance, children and her own pets. She's planning on going to nursing school, getting married next year and tonight she gleefully told me she was up for the promotion I would have gotten.

I kept in contact with her for the sole purpose of paying her back for what she did to me. She has no idea, I know, that she was the one responsible for my current situation. I know her one weakness which she's addicted to this one sport team, and buys everything she can find that's theirs. I got lucky and found a wallet from them she doesn't have, I dont have any Double Cross but I do have a crossing kit.

Please excuse me if I sound a little childish, but I want to get this person back in the worst way. I know you can fix up an object, but is their any extra nasty way I could fix this wallet? I think in some cultures giving an empty wallet signifies a wish for financial ruin, anything else anybody might think of would be appreciated.

I would use the kit on her asap! Any curse you call on it will effect her through the wallet. I would also do a cleanse on yourself and then apply for jobs to see if that helps. Also next job you get, buy some stop gossip and keep it on hand to protect you from people like that.

Sorry to hear about your financial problems. Was a smart move on your part to keep her close, have you tried getting her personal concerns? It would make the curse stronger.

Like j82 said use the crossing kit on her. I have always been told it will mess up a persons money luck to give a empty wallet as a gift. You could increase the power of this if you use some of the crossing products on the wallet as well as the goofer dust.

After you complete the kit and cleanse yourself with the hyssop bath. I would do some money work to help your financial situation. I had a really cool idea but I'm not sure if it will work and wanted to run it by the experts!

I started taking a pottery class and I've gotten pretty good at making decorative dishes, pretty cups, etc.

What if I made a cursed key dish by embedding Breakup powder and Separation powder in the clay, and send it to the couple I want to break up? Likewise, what if I make a mug and put various love powders in the clay itself? Would that work as a tricked present?

It's sure worth a try and a good idea. I like it!! And dress the outside once they're made.

Now, back in the ancient days (and I do know that they did this in countries such as: Ancient Greece; Ancient Egypt, etc) they would curse people like this:

They would engrave their petitions (along with cursing symbols) into their pottery. Then, they would take this to a temple where a Deity would help them. They would cry out their curse and then smash the pottery to get the Deity's attention.

And, it does remind me of how we smash things at the crossroads (in Hoodoo and other magical practices) to get the attention of the man at the crossroads.

Anyway, just rambling. But your pottery idea reminded me of this.

Miss Aida, that's fascinating! I'll have to research the ritual, that sounds very visceral and personal. I love it! And it even gives me an idea: in addition to the breakup powders (and maybe herbs/oils), I could carve a petition of intention right into the inner layer of the clay, and then roll a clean layer right on top so no one is the wiser. The petition, powders, and herbs would be hidden right in the middle! Even if they broke it accidentally they'd not be able to tell.

One question: when you say to dress the pottery, what process do you have in mind?

Thank you so much, I'm so glad you like my idea! I especially like the idea of making a key dish, because keys to their shared house being stored on a cursed dish will hopefully bring the cursed nature of their relationship/emotional codependence and toxicity to light.

I plan on making similarly tricked pottery items for love and romantic commitment, too. I'll let you know if I see movement and good outcomes with them!

Hi all,

Does "positive work" come through in readings/divination? I would like to fix some things but would not want it to ever be detected.
Examples:
honey jar on in laws: things have been sour for a while. If someone suspects will they find out?
Husband and money: if I sit an egg on top of his picture overnight to cleanse him, if I work some candles for steady work for him or for an increase for his business, will this somehow come out?

I only want to do good positive things, should measures be taken to veil this?

I was always taught that if the querent doesn't want something to be known, that it won't happen.

Yes, some of my clients who have either done the rootwork themselves or have had other rootworkers perform magic usually shows up in my readings.

Now, if it's personal information that a querent doesn't want to be seen, there's a good chance that it won't. But if someone else is acquiring a reading (other than you), it will most likely be disclosed (yes,even positive work) unless you do invisibility work yourself. So, yes, take measures.

Hello Everyone!

So, unfortunately I do have some enemies. For quite some time I have been considering performing a reversal on "all of mine enemies", not only to send back all of their BS but also to rectify what they did to me. I believe my life could improve in at least some ways by doing this, because I would be inviting those lost (or stolen) blessings back into my life.

My question is regarding hiding my reversal from "prying eyes" of all kinds. I have used bay leaves and such in previous workings to hide my work. Is this typical or customary to do with reversals, or does it not really work that way since I am sending back their own BS?

I admit that I have been a bit leery of performing "catch-all" type candle work like this against "all of mine enemies", but I really do want to get them all...even the ones I am not aware of

I generally like to take care of one at a time, but I would prefer to just do it all at once and have it done! I have waited far too long for this. Anyway, I would really appreciate your knowledge and expertise on this subject and look forward to it. Thank you LM and forum!

What's a good product or herb that will increase the sneakiness and stealth of any spell? Not just with the spell itself, but also as far as your intentions with that person? I know Bay leaves help disguise someone's work on a person, and Devil's Shoestrings ties down their ability to see what you're doing, and that Influence products are very good at getting under a person's radar. The Black Folder book also says that laying down mirrors will prevent another rootworker from knowing what you're doing, and working on the new moon also helps with that. Is there anything else that can be done?

Well, You already named the things I am familiar with. If you are targeting someone specific you can also cover their senses, pins in teh eyes, ears, ect of a skull candle or cover the senses on a doll baby. Otherwise you have your bases covered.

Hello. I have a few questions I'm hoping some of you might be able to answer.

My dad and I have gone through a lot of emotional pain and financial hardship both during and after his second marriage. She and her daughter treated my dad unfairly during the marriage and took advantage of his kind nature. We lost our house and had to do a bankruptcy because of the enormous debt they had racked up. They still treat my dad very poorly; even when they ask for help, they turn right around and berate him. They say he's harassing them, but it's a very small community and he tries to avoid them as best he can. I moved back with him 2 1/2 years ago to be an emotional and financial support after the divorce, and he's only starting to get back to his old self. He still avoids going certain places because he worries he'll run into them and cause problems. I want them to out of the area, or preferably back to the East coast, so my dad can get back to his old social self without their presence looming over him.

I'm wanting to make them some bath bombs with Double Cross oil. I was wondering what DC smelled like and if it'd be pleasant enough for a bath bomb. I'd also like to know if there are other oils, herbs, or fragrances I could add to make it a more powerful and believable gift. I'd appreciate and suggestions or help. Thank you.

I'm going to send some $$$ (single bill) in a birthday card. She's experienced with sending & receiving tricks, so I have to keep the suspicion down to as low as possible. The card would be dressed with items that would encourage conflict & strife with her mate/partner

I figure that a 20spot in a birthday card would be the most likely item she'd hold onto, at least for a bit.

I want to use the following items:

Double Crossing Oil & Incense
Inflammatory Confusion Oil
Break Up Sachet Powder
Destruction Sachet Powder

My concern is if these mediums (incense, oil, sachet powder) would be ideal.

I thought of using DC as incense for both the card and the bill, and then IC (as well as DC) oil to dress the bill. I also thought of making a spray from those oils for the envelope/bday card.

The BreakUp and Destruction powders could be used for the card and $$$ bill.

I think this would be a good blend of mediums, but I'd like to hear what other suggestions everyone else might have?

I don't mind getting different mediums of the same blend (for example, both double crossing powder AND oil), but I want to avoid getting all mediums of the 4 items. I didn't think bath crystals would be viable since they would only be used for the spray/misting of the card/envelope, and I could use the oils for the spray as well as the dressing of the $ bill.

I am very wary of using water-based sprays or oils on paper. Oil leaves grease stains, as you know, unless you use microscopic amounts. I'd stick to powder to dress the bill.

Smoking with incense is another good and invisible way to fix paper.

I recently acquired the name and mailing address of my love rival.

I'm thinking to dust some junk or other non-traceable mail with Break Up and hotfoothotfoot powders.

Any advise/input?

Would it be advisable to send Break Up dusted mail to my love target as well? Just set my intention to break the two of them up ...
I don't want to hinder the love work I'm doing on him.

Yes, you can do both.

Just please be careful. Dust them very lightly.

With al these Anthrax scares, I get a little apprehensive abut sending powders because they might just call the police.

I like, instead, to send little gifts. Like a little teddy bear that you have opened and filled with these powders and then sewed them up. That way, they have that always in their possession!! LOL

I once sent a rival a nice pen to her work address. It wasn't expensive (about $15 at Staples) but it was hefty and looked like it cost a lot more. I had dressed and smoked it in LM's amazing Hot Foot products and included a note from a prospective but fictitious client of her business. It all looked very professional, and a nice pen is something she would likely keep and use regularly. It worked like a charm...within six weeks her company was sold, she was out of a job and had to move.
