Nothing quite has the same effect as Tranquility TheBestest. Blessing oil would be the closest alternative. You could also roll the candle in a combo of mint, althea and flax if you have those on hand. Grind them to a powder while praying that things calm down.

Thanks and well yesterday I contacted him and he seemed calm and I hadnt done the spell Miss Aida suggested yet. I really hope this just means the skull candle is effecting him. His blow up really was strange, and if it happens again then I will give both of your suggestions a try. Thanks again!

***UPDATE*** After my arguement with my target that I previously told you guys about I burned a blue candle on top of my honey jar annointed with Healing oil, Follow me boy oil, and Come to me oil. He responded to a message I said about us talking about what happened and his reply was "I dont want to talk about it. I don't live in the past." I responded with telling him "I still want us to talk bevause there is alot of miscommunication and although you feel like you can't take me seriously because Im always joking, I also feel like I cant take you seriously because your always hot and cold. All of the took place on Saturday morning. Sunday came around and he messaged me telling me he is goibg to respond its just been a busy day." Yesterday I sent him a message on the site we use to just chat on and I saw he didnt read my message but changed his profile picture. I am officially disgusted because now Im feeling like hes playing games. I am so disappointed too because I was so confident in my skull candle and hney jar. I also have been working with Saint Martha in him, and nothing has changed. Can anyond recommend to me what to do now or should I just give up. Sad part is he was supposedly my "Soul mate", smh. :'(

You know, spells don't usually work immediately.
And, sometimes, they will have the opposite effect before they start showing progress.
Give your spells some time. Have patience. And have confidence.
Also, don't expect someone to change their personality completely. You have to work with what he is and how he is.

Your right Miss Aida. I'm more or less, just scared because I have never worked a successful love spell for myself except for maybe lust and to draw someone nes. Keep in mind that we all have talent for different type of work TheBestest - that's why professional rootworkers are around to help! Even as a professional worker, many of us will hire someone for certain types of work. For example, I won't usually read for myself on issues I'm overly emotional about since my perception and interpretation is skewed. I also suck at cursing work and don't have much success when it comes to court case or law keep away type of stuff.

Yea I was thinking of having LM burn candles for me with this situation and yes the social thing does play a roll in alot of things for me. I guess I sort of crave to feel like a person who is loved and not hated. Thanks for your help Aura!

Ok, I have read over this thread and forgive me if I missed a post that spoke on this, but can the red skull be used not to necessarily put the thoughts of "I want to be with x" but moreso "x loves me, and that's all I can see and think of.

What I am asking, is would this be a good way to put more passive ideas into my target's head? I don't want him to one day wake up and start thinking, "I love this girl," but rather "this girl does actually care about me." I think it would be more organic and lead to a longer reconciliation. Does this make sense or am I over thinking this?

I did my skull candle and since I don't have privacy I hid my candle in an empty cabinet in the kitchen. And takes it out whenever I have to whisper and put it back. No one saw it. But the melted wax drips to the eyes from transferring. I let it finished burning but before it all burns out I left it coz I had to go somewhere.

My question: Transferring the skull candle and before it finish burnung I went out, is that ok or will it at least be effective? I would appreciate if anyone can tell me if what I did was right or not. Thanks.

Hello Heart,

I am a little confused on what you are doing. When you are putting the candle in the cabinet are you snuffing it out to put it up and then relighting it when you take it back out? It is fine to snuff the candle and burn it in sections. I am in the middle of doing that right now with a skull candle. To keep wax from dripping while moving it just let it sit for a minute after snuffing the flame so the wax has a chance to harden it doesn't take to long for it to be solid enough to move.

If you were sticking it in the cabinet lit I would caution against that. You do not want the inside of the cabinet to get so warm it catches fire. If the candle went out on its own I would say that is a sign of some resistance or obstacles in your work. If you blew it out you have interrupted the work and should probably start fresh.

Hi Nathan! I didn't snuff the candle nor blew it. The cabinet is bigger I was worried but I check that cabinet is not all close so there won't be too much heat. I kept an eye on it every hour taking it out whispering without sniffing it until it completely burns out. But before it completely burn I went out then when I came back it already finished burning. Was that effective? What do you mean went out on its own is a sign of resistance? Thank you.

If it finished burning then you're just fine.
PLEASE listen to Natstein abut the cabinet. I had already warned you about that before. That is a dangerous place to put a lit candle. VERY dangerous.

I'm keeping an eye on it when I placed on cabinet. I'm alone so I'm Able to work on candle without putting in cabinet. In the middle of my work I had to go out. Snuff it out and work on it again the day after. I'm going to finish it today. Is this alright? Thank you

I am having a thought for a spell to blind a person to another.
Using the skull candle I will fill the eyes with poppy seeds to confuse them.
I was wanting to use agar-agar in their eyes as well.

Any other ideas for someone to "not see" another aside from the normal confusion powders and petition?

You can also stick needles in the eyes. You might just want to cover all the senses, hearing, smelling, tasting ect...

Hi Dragonfly,
If you feel he is fighting the domination and to ease his fears then certainly go with the blue. Working with candles in very intuitive and you already know why you want to do things.
It is hard to stop second guessing yourself if you feel you are so new to this but you should just go with what you are feeling. Blue it is followed by red.

The wick was already all out. The oil that I used to put all over skull candle settled at the bottom with a small pich of 9herbs. I was so scared the small fire won't stop and the foil is having a weird smoke and fire becoming more so I put water then the fire just went big. The fire alarm set so I blew tthe leftover fire. I burned a bit of my thumb. Scared to work on another one. What's going to happen that I blew it? I stayed home all day watching over it. I hope it still works. The wick was all out. Only the oil and herb kept it burning. I was so scared.

Oil is flammable and you should NEVER put water on oil to put it out, You should cover it with a lid or something non flammable.

If the wick disappears (as can happen) you need to dig it out of the wax making it stick out.
You will need to do the spell again, what happened means there are problems and you will need to work through them all.

Hi all,

I had a reading with madame Pamita and she suggested that I should do a red candle skull to have my ex boyfriend who is so addicted to motorcycles after we broke up to think of me. I had her did the skull candle on my behaft. I also did the red skull candle, but I'm not sure if I did it correctly....

I wrote his name for 3 times in the back of his picture and then cross it with my name 3 times. I wrote "love me" in circle around it.
I craved his name underneath the candle.
I wrote what I want him to think (love, passion etc..) in single words
I dressed it with bewitching oil. I talked to it for 7 days. On the 7th night I sprinkled deer's tongue and cinnamon on the skull and around the skull.
I put 5 small red tapers around the skull. Prayed my intention and light it..
I talked to it sometimes
The first night, I lighted for 2 hours during his sleep hour, the snuffed it out...
The second night, I lighted it up again. This time I let it light until the candle's wick is off because I wanted to finish it on the super moon day (07/12/2014) the candle was big so it didn't stop until the 13th
There were some wax remained. I put his picture and the remained herbs onto the candle, wrapped it in aluminum foil and buried it in front of my house.
Did I do the skull candle correctly? If I finished it in 3 days, instead of 7 days. Is it going to affect my result?

It sounds fine furrora.
Some people prefer to wrap in red cloth rather than foil, I am not 100% sure about that. But otherwise it should be fine.

I really love skull candles, I have huge amounts of success with them, even with very poor personal concerns (name only).

The following night I started this spell, the fighting was huge. Almost a break up there. Divination tells me that the relationship is on edge and will end.A reading tells me she is looking to another who is more sympathetic to her. This will increase as time they are together gets less and less, the male now has a job that works odd hours, keeping them apart 2 weeks out of 3. She likes to have someone at her beck and call and he is now going to have his own money, this will also put strain on.

Terrible names were called and she absolutely put her partner down. This will just keep adding to the strain. I know that when i'm not working the spell things settle, bring the skull spells on and wow. The pins in the eyes blinded her to him and his needs. absolutely. Never saw anything like it and wow everyone has a comment about what she did and how bad it was. The skull is still going. I will keep working it and try bury the remains at the crossroad near where they live.

Now if only I was as good with a vinegar jar. lol

First,thank you Miss Aida for sharing about the show, I'm planning to listen the whole this evening. Second, I've just finished burning a purple skull on the top of the honey jar of my target. He needs to calm down his fears, as the purple one affected him quite a bit I believe... I was wondering if one can alternate between two different skull candles or it will wreak havoc in the target's mind? Is it not suitable then to work with a white skull? Does it need to burn completely, or can be re-used later for the same purpose on the same target, i.e. for example red skull for passion be burned 2 wks, going back to regular candles, and, say 2mts afterwards using again the same red skull for the same target? Thanks for the help!

No, I would not do a cut and clear. I would just stick to the love spells.

You sure can, I just did a working like this a few months ago, Get a white skull candle, some healing oil (http://www.luckymojo.com/healing.html), I also like to add Blessing oils and Tranquility oils to this kind of thing (http://www.luckymojo.com/tranquility.html , http://www.luckymojo.com/blessing.html). Make a petition paper for what you are asking for, maybe sprinkle some Althea leaves, Golden Seal, and Angelica Root inside the folded up petition and place it under your candle. Give the candle your friends name and talk to it telling it that the head ache pain is relieved ect... You can talk to it for several days before lighting it. I believe Miss Cat gives a spell in her book The Art of Hoodoo Candle Magic says you can talk to a skull candle for 7 days and then on the 8th day you go ahead and light the candle. (I highly recommend getting that book!)

I was wondering if anyone can answer my question.
I started my red skull to bring back my ex. The first night the flame was high and steady (no flickering or dancing or anything). The second night it was the same. I haven't heard from my target but since I started the skull I've been having dreams about him or anything that has to do with him.
Also, is it okay if I pray to the skull during the day and then pray at night before lighting it and before I snuff it out?

We don't do candle readings on the forum, you can get a reading from a member from hoodoo psychics or AIRR members.

Praying over your skull candle (I call it working it as well... lol) is perfectly acceptable. Mine are always in a place that is easy to see and it always renews my intention when I see it. So a prayer or a thought... it's all good.

It is very much okay that you pray over the skull candle. I would recommend doing that as much as you feel comfortable doing. Pray the "oomph" into that candle!

Hey everyone,

How are you? So I have been puttering around here for a number of years and have yet had the guts enough to ask some questions. I have been with a great woman for over 8 years and I wanted to spice thing up so I basically worked a passion/ lust spell with some influence based on various articles in the forum. I worked a Red Skull candle, but I carved out a hollow piece and put my lovers hairs, a nail clipping, and a patch with menstral blood. I put in some influencing power and Dixie love with it and sealed it up with wax. I carved my desires and her name. put influencing oil and annointed it with seman. I had a petition and drew a picture of what I would like to happen. It lit fine and was steady. Now I know the spells work, but my concern is with laying the tricks. What I would like to hear from a root worker is how to dispose of the wax and the petition paper? Can I bury these with her personal concerns in the wax or should I hold onto these? I don't want the spell to get cut off and not work. I have read the article on laying tricks, but nothing says about personal concerns such as hair and stuff. I have no problem burying it in her yard. I just don't want adverse effects. Thank you all and look forward to the response.

I just got a reading done and my reader said my ex is being resistant due to our bad breakup. He's afraid that he's going to hurt me again.
My reader told me to make a honey jar and use the candles Blue, Red, Pink, Yellow, Purple.
The only oils I have right now from LM are (reconciliation, love, Jezzebel,come to me) I'm wanting to order more but I don't know which one would be good?
Also, I read on a different thread that for a resistant person, it's good to use a black skull candle and write the targets name along with something saying not to be resistant anymore? Would a black one be good or could I use a blue one or white?

If you have the means to bury the spell remains in this person's yard I would 100% do just that. Get those remains as close as you can to your target. There will be no adverse effects. I myself keep the Personal Concerns with the completed spell as they were a very powerful component of said spell. If you find you need to keep Personal Concerns for further spellwork i would advise you to use slightly less for each particular spell.

Let us know how it turns out.

First,thank you Miss Aida for sharing about the show, I'm planning to listen the whole this evening. Second, I've just finished burning a purple skull on the top of the honey jar of my target. He needs to calm down his fears, as the purple one affected him quite a bit I believe... I was wondering if one can alternate between two different skull candles or it will wreak havoc in the target's mind? Is it not suitable then to work with a white skull? Does it need to burn completely, or can be re-used later for the same purpose on the same target, i.e. for example red skull for passion be burned 2 wks, going back to regular candles, and, say 2mts afterwards using again the same red skull for the same target? Thanks for the help!

My thinking is that you are going to have to convince him that you are good for him and that he ought to give "himself" another chance because he can(and will) do better.
I would buy several candles and just keep working at it.

I can't find your original post.
What are we trying to do here? What's the objective?
I like to work one spell at a time until completion. That way, if there are any problems, you can fix them. If there's no completion, you can re-do the spell.
Then, after competition, work on the next phase. Be strategic.
I don't like your idea of only working a candle half way. Work the candle spell to completion (just my thoughts as every rootworker is different).

Daulton, yes, that's a very basic Come to Me spell. Do some divination first, though, to make sure nobody's jinxing your love life, that your target isn't Mister Wrong, etc.
