That vinegar jar sounds pretty intense. I would suggest you keep shaking it and working it the way you mentioned. Yes you can keep burning candles on it to.

Hello everyone,

I am just curious to know if a person can use tobacco smoke on a love honey jar while communicating desires while candle is lit. I read that you can also use that for court hhj. I trying to make sure that I didn't misinterpret that information. Just a case of curiosity. Thank you. Have a nice day.

Oh, interesting idea! I wouldn't mind knowing the answer to this as well. I've only ever seen tobacco smoke used in the context of dream work this way, but that sees like it could be well suited to a honey jar. (Or picture box, or poppet!) Especially if it's pipe or cigar tobacco, that isn't cut with lots of other things like cigarette tobacco. I'm curious! Anyone have any experience utilizing it this way?

Hi all,

I just wanted to ask if you all think that burning a black skull candle on top of my vinegar jar would be a good idea?

I am thinking of hollowing out the base of it and putting in some chilli powder, asafoetida, salt, black poppy seeds and black pepper, then writing what I want both parties to think of each other on the candle using a nail and then dressing it in break up oil.

Oh I love skull candles.
I would put the chilli powder and poppy seeds in the "ears" and mouth of the skull so they can only hear and say heated confusing things.
The poppy seeds in the eyes so there is only confusion to see.

But that's just me. It does sound fine what you're doing. If you have tobacco you could burn that and speak through it to the skull to reinforce these feelings.

Thanks Shantilly Lace. I did as you said and placed the herbs in the specified areas. I also placed some in the bottom of the candle. I engraved the words, "stay apart," move on," "no love" and "hate" on to the candle. I shook my vinegar jar stating my intention. I then lit the candle stating my intention including all of the words engraved. I snuffed the candle and will re-light it on Saturday.

Hello, all! It's been a while!

I searched through the sub forum and can't quite find a consensus on when you should start a new vinegar jar? The breakup jar I'm working doesn't seem as effective as I'd hoped - my rival pushed and manipulated my target into moving in with her. They already live together, but they're getting their own apartment at the end of August. I want to up my curse work to try to leverage them out of it, or at least make the move and cohabitation so obviously toxic for them that they break up. Given that I've been working my current breakup jar and they decided to move in and found an apartment, is that a sign it's not working and I should deploy it and start a new one ASAP? Or should I give it more time?

Hi everyone, I've looked all over the forum and can't find the answer to this. Forgive me if I've overlooked it.

At the suggestion of my reader, I started a vinegar jar. Ingredients were supposed to be 4 Thieves, War Water, asafoetida, nails, and their pics. This was my first attempt at a spell and I accidentally put Hyssop in the bottle instead of asafoetida. I sealed it and then realized my mistake. So I opened it and dumped the contents through a strainer to strain out the Hyssop. I put the liquid, nails and pics back in with the asafoetida...then sealed it up and I've been shaking and burning candles on it.

After reading through the forum, I'm concerned that the Hyssop actually protected the two people whose relationship I'm trying to sour. The vigil candle I lit burned completely out but the glass was cloudy once it cooled down, possibly indicating that there is some resistance.

I've read all the pages about deployment and disposal but am pretty sure these methods refer to jars that were concocted CORRECTLY. My original plan was to bury the jar in a graveyard but I don't want to bury it forever if I've protected them.

Please advise how I should dispose of and if I need to start a new jar.

Hi. Sorry about my English. I am new here. I have my vinegar jar for a week now, but I missed the black hairs of cat and dog. My ex is from UK, and I am from Asia. He had commitment issues, and so we broke up for about a yr now. He is now engaged to a much younger woman from my country also. They met for a week only in person, they chatted for only 3 mos online. I am still upset with what he did, it's a long story. I want them to not get married. I burned a black candle also, after that, I really feel that my spell has worked, on my mind I told myself that my spell is already done after the black candle is burned. I never heard of this spell before, I only heard it last week (vinegar jar) I do not have her photo, I do not know her name either, I just know she's his fiancee now, they are on a process to bring her to UK. I am still in-love with my ex. I still want him in my life. But I am still upset with him, I shake the vinegar jar when I am feeling so angry and curse the jar, about 3-4x a day I shake it and clench my teeth. She is way too young for my ex! and he is rich. On my mind I feel like my vinegar jar is working. I said to myself that I am very sorry for him because this girl is only using him.

Can I still do honey love spell jar at the same time with vinegar jar? If I pick up my vinegar and shake and curse it, do I need to be cleansed? I would shake it and go to work, is that ok? or after shaking it, I touch other things like for example after cursing the vinegar jar, I use the computer. I visited a psychic she said that ex's fiancee made a spell to attract him, but I forgot to ask how to break her spell, so I did research and I tried vinegar jar and burned black candle. Hello katiaconjure,

Personally I would go ahead and start a fresh working. Even if the hyssop didn't muck the jar up it certainty did a number on your mental state in working the spell. I would take the remnants of the working and go bury them somewhere off your property but not in a graveyard. YOu are just burying it to be done with it not to keep it working. Then start the working over.

If you want to make new nails rust faster, rough them up a little with sand paper or steel wool. Break the finish enough for the vinegar to work on the raw metal. J

Yes, you can do a honey jar and a vinegar jar at the same time.

It sounds like you're handling the jar correctly BUT I ALWAYS ALWAYS use black cat hair and black dog hair. The black dog hair that Lucky MOjo has is a special type of dog hair that is needed. Find it here: www.herb-magic.com/black-dog-hair.html
Since you did not mention other ingredients in your post, I think it would be a good idea to look at the other posts under vinegar jars. So, I am merging your post to that subforum. Please take time to read the posts and to give yourself ideas.
YOu might also want to consider getting a reading from an AIRR member. We can't take the word of a psychic that we don't know.

Oh, interesting! I didn't know the black dog hair had to come from a specific kind of dog. I was told by a different reader that any dog and cat hair could work in a pinch if you didn't have access to the proper ingredients so long as they came from a dog that didn't like cats and a cat that didn't like dogs, and so that's what I used in my breakup jar - perhaps that's why it's not as potent as I'd like it to be? Should I break it at a crossroads and start another one?

I have a trained protection dog (with black hair) and he too is not fond of cats.
I, however, only use the dog hair that Lucky Mojo has. There is a long detailed reason for that and I don't want to quote Miss cat without her permission (as I don't think she has explained this on the forum).
I would continue that jar until your Lucky Mojo black dog hair arrives. And, by the way, there's enough hair in their packages of black dog hair and black cat hair for at least 2 different workings.

Hey guys!

I made a vinegar jar WITHOUT the vinegar! So stupid...
I want to break up a former lover with his new lover, so 2 days ago by 00.00am i began my work, cleansed myself with hyssop and prayed psalm 51 3 times. Cleaned my entire home, and used sage to burn. I made my circle (because i feel more protected, so i always cast circle first (btw, do people normally do this when doing Hoodoo/Rootwork?) anyways, i did it and prayed again.

I prepared all my ingredients which were:
Cayenne pepper
lemon
one whole chili
rusty nails
pins
black thread (to keep the lemon together)
a photo of them together
red pepper
petition paper with words "NO LOVE" circling around their names
black candles
AND I FORGOT THE VINEGAR!!! OMG

What i did was i split the lemon in two, put the patition paper in it, took the photo split it and crossed her over with a black pen. Stuck it in the lemon aswell with the rest of the ingredients. Put the lemon in the jar put MORE of the ingredients in it (all rusty nails and pins and a huge chunk of the chili aswell were all IN the jar but not IN the lemon)

AND then i looked around my circle and realized that i had forgot to get the vinegar, facepalming myself i continued and didn't leave the circle.

Overall question, will it affect the spell if i dont have the vinegar or should I make a new jar? I feel that this jar works and i feel the energy, I dont think about it much, just shake it once in a while and burn candles on it. And only two days have past so im fine with no results yet, but still, if it goes TOTALLY against its intent, they i'll happily make a new one

Welcome to the forums, If you want please introduce yourself to us on the greetings and introductions forum!

I merged your post into the forum that is all about vinegar jars, there is a lot of information on how to work these jars for you in this thread. Your ingredient list looks pretty good except I have to say, you can't really have a vinegar jar without the vinegar! lol I suppose it could be considered some other kind of container spell but people more experienced than I would have to weigh in on that. were it me I would remake the jar.

I would also do a cleansing with hyssop after doing the vinegar jar work. You can do it before also if you want but I would definitely want to do it after doing any kind of more harsh work. Casting a circle is not typical in hoodoo work. The majority of people practicing hoodoo come from a protestant religious background and would likely not make use of a magic circle. If your religious practice makes it more comfortable to work within a circle I am sure that is fine though; just know that it is not the usual practice.

so I cant wait for it to arrive, im so excited!

Regarding the casting of the circle i mostly did it because i spiritually and psychologically felt more safe, but thats just me being silly i guess

Is it ok if I dispose the remaining ingredients in the street drainage? what happens if you bury your vinegar breakup spell in your own backyard?

I would just start all over again. Start fresh.
PLEASE, this time, write down everything you want to do before you do it.
Read the forum and get ideas of what you want to put in that jar.
Read all the webpages that Miss cat has written.
Let me get you started:
First, I am merging your post to the Vinegar jar spells and you should rad what people are doing.

Hi, I have a question that can be hopefully answered by someone on here.
I've made my first vinegar breakup jar this past January.
But about 1-2 months ago, I saw a tree at my grandma's neighbors house (which is abandoned)
And it had a hole in it i decided it was time to deploy it because I wanted to make a new one since i finally had personal concerns. I already had opened the other jar multiple times for ingredients so i felt I needed to start over. I read the laying tricks page and so I wrapped my jar and put it in the hole of the tree and forgot about it.... UNTIL TODAY!
The subject of "witchcraft" came up and i overheard my uncle say he got a metal detector and was using it at the neighbors abandoned house
and when he got near the tree, the machine was "beeping" and reached his hand in the hole and found a "WRAPPED JAR". (my old vinegar jar, yikes

)
I dont know what he did with it though, probably threw it away after he examined it.
But about 2 1/2 weeks ago I started a new jar with all the ingredients this time and with personal concerns, and i been working that jar every Tuesday /Saturday. So my question is.. Does it matter that my old previous jar was found by someone who the jar wasn't meant for? Since i already had a new jar going before the incident and after deployment of the first jar, can I still work the new jar?

It's hard to tell what will happen to the jar. If he threw it in the garbage, that's not good.
It may have already been deployed and working. Just so hard to guess at this one.
BUT it will neither affect your new jar nor will it affect the progress of your new jar.
So, go ahead and make it and work it. There's no problem with that.
Just be aware of your location of deployment

I recited the "Spirit of Hate" prayer 13 times today over a black break up candle. I was really whipping myself up and pouring a lot into it. By the last few I really didn't feel anywhere near as much hatred for my rival as I'm used to feeling. I'm not sure if this is good or bad. On the one hand, having to remind yourself of why someone is an awful person as you're trying to do work against them can't be putting in as much negative energy as I'd like to. On the other hand, it could mean that I've effectively transferred all my hate toward my rival to my target. Which would be a very very good thing. If this feelng of relief sticks around, the idea of releasing my spell and not obsessing over it also became much easier.

kmew1315, the same thing happened to me. I did some break-up tricks on a person I cared for and the person he was with. However, I started remembering all of his passive-aggressive behavior, his hurtful jokes toward me, his lying, his immature ways, and started thinking, 'Why am I trying to be so mean to her? She hasn't done anything. I don't even know her! He's just a big, lying flirt and a HUGE narcissist.'

I still hope they break-up, because more and more each day, I have come to terms with the fact that he's really a mid-30-something year old douche trying to snag younger women in their teens and early twenties with his manipulative charm. Also, his partner, and anyone he is with later on (assuming he won't truly change who he is and his ways, since many don't TRULY change) and has been with in the past, can definitely do much better.

Because of all of this, I plan to do a Black Walnut bath followed by the Cut and Clear spell within a couple of months on any left-over feelings I have for him, once I get some revenge out of my system for some of terrible things he has said and done to me the last time I saw him.

I need DEPSERATE help. My love J and I are soulmates, confirmed by both a rootworker and pendulum. We were set for reconciliation after a breakup, but the night we got together, I got too drunk and said some HORRIBLY mean things that I dont remember or meant. After that night, he found someone else in my place.

Since I know we are meant to be I worked many spells and he came back to me and we were very intimate even though he said he was with someone else he stlll missed me and loved me. Well a few days after that I did a freezer spell (full of rotten fish, shit, black cat & dog hair, vinegar and lemon) with BOTH HIS NAME and hers (un-named rival since I dnt know her name) and now he is COMPLETELY COLD TO ME!!!

I realized this morning what I did and I broke both freezer spells at a railroads crossroads, did a cleansing, then lite a pink 7 day candle with his & mine pic attached with honey, taped to the candle with love oil and commanding herbs (I dont have Come to Me or Break up Oils) as well as a white candle to try and "heal" the freezing and grossness I did to him. I also have a red figurine male candle but I dont have anymore personal affects other than a red string I tied his nature up with. But since that night, I feel like ALL my honey jar spells and mojo bags are no longer working, I dont know what to do!!!!!

What spells can I do to undo what I did, and bring him back, other than what I have done? I have no semen, hair, etc. only pics and I dont have my rivals name. Is she still frozen out or was that broken as well when I destroyed the jars? He use to be so attentive and sweet, thats why I think all my work was broken...

After she did some truly awful things I'm also working a curse doll of her - nothing nasty, just trying to get her away so she can't damage people and emotionally smother them anymore. Does this approach seem good to you?

I would buy the LM spell kit on break up as it comes with everything you need to do it. Sure the list sounds great I just hope you connect with each item and know why its used and how it comes together to be used in the work. Reading off a list from a site is not enough to connect with the work.. really understanding the spirit of the work and the herb is! Sometimes less is best also, we dont need a shot gun to kill a fly! As for the lady, I would work a doll baby tie her up both legs and arms, blindfold her and put her in a corner, put a black candle dressed with crossing oil behind her and a pair of open scissors behind that ..tell her if she tries anything else or moves you will cut and burn her and she will be cursed... a controlling candle can also be used in this purpose.

The gentleman I'm seeing told me he still feels like his ex-girlfriend is his "twin flame/soulmate." He also said he would like to be able to move on and not feel this way so he can have a normal life. He said that she doesn't have any qualities he would want from a partner, but he can't let go of the feeling.

She was his longest relationship, they were together for 6 years. It has been about 7 years since they've split up, but she would occasionally come back into his life and he would end up being heart-broken again. She was not a good partner from what he has told me. She would play mental and emotional games. She is an alcoholic, and would get physically abusive when she was drinking. Lost custody of her daughter (not my guy's child), and would openly date their mutual friends which hurt him as well. (These were among the main reasons he wants to be emotionally done with her).

He has done a cut and clear a couple times, she would show back up after he did this, so I prepared a hotfoot for him to complete (which worked), and he has agreed to do the black walnut spell. But I would like to do something in addition to this on my my end. I have done some healing and clarity for him, but am honestly getting fed up and I want to sour his thoughts/emotions towards her. Also, if I am being objective, even if things don't work out between us, his thinking she is his soulmate will hinder him from having a healthy relationship.

I do have her hair (thanks to him being unobservant), and a lot of his personal concerns, so that is good. I also have full names and birthdays, but no photo of them together (I don't think that matters since I have hair). If the vinegar jar would be appropriate, I can bury it at his house.

I greatly appreciate any advice you are able to offer.

Hi,
I am working on my Vinegar jar more than year and half. The couple separated now.But he saying he want time to figure out things, he does not want to be in a relationship with me until he figure things out. I gave him space no contact, working on my both Honey and Vinegar jars. Sep 1st their wedding Anniversary, he is little bit upset. I want to work my Vinegar jar on this day, its Monday.My question is, Is it OK to work on Vinegar jar on Monday?? and wait to Honey jar till Wednesday?. Waiting for fast reply.Thank you

Thank you for your reply, J-Mo. I believe she has been successfully hotfooted, (she left for Boston to hook up with one of his acquaintances, hopefully she'll stay there!). I just want to be sure I understand your advice correctly as it pertains to my situation. My intent is for him to no longer think of her as his soulmate, and to sour his thoughts and feelings towards her. If I were to just place her in a vinegar jar, my understanding is that that would just mess up her life, is that right?

If I were to treat it as a break up vinegar jar, even though they are not together, and placed them both in it, would that have the same effect if they were to contact each other? (I hope that makes sense). That way any possible future exchange would be full of discord and help him move on.

I wonder if a skull candle would be better in this case?

A funny thing is that I'm listening to archived shows and they are talking about a vinegar jar spell and hotfooting right now!

Hello, elsie,

You can do a break up jar and a skull candle.

Hopefully, you've learned a lot after listening to the radio show!

I think just putting them in a break up jar, working the jar, and then deploying it would keep them apart. It may not interfere with dialogue but it will keep them apart as partners.

Hi,
I work on my Vinegar jar this morning. I lit the candle around 9 am (12' candle) Its burned by 11:15 am. Usually its take to burn 4 hours. Why this burned so fast. I heard its mean, its working so fast. I anoint the candle oil with Cayenne pepper, last inch of candle had Cayenne pepper around the candle and start to burn around the candle burning Cayenne pepper. Wax dripped two side of the jar.

Other thing is I was doing jar and wax was full of on the lid and around the lid. The wax was around the jar was horrible to see, scary. Last Saturday night I worked on the jar and burned candle, I checked jar in the morning all the wax burned on the lid and still same wax stay around the lid, It like a Volcano. have a wax wall around the lid middle nothing on the lid, its like a hole. Lots of melted wax was on saucer. Still not pleasant to see it. My Honey jar is not like that. Left wax is look nice like flower. Two times its burned all nothing left on the lid or around and melted was was on the saucer. Any idea.

Hi again, Is it OK to light candles all day today on Vinegar jar??? I am so stress, Today three of us at three places and his and her anniversary today, I don't know what he is doing today. Really worry about him. Any suggestions.

A fast burn normally means fast results but they may not last so more work is needed. You dressed the candle in herbs which definitely make a candle burn faster when lit so that could also be why. Volcano on a vinegar jar seems to indicate things will erupt or be volatile. Yes its ok to burn a candle all day.

I just wanted to update a bit. I decided against doing a vinegar jar. I realized that I was going to do this out of ego and that did not provide enough justification within my soul to warrant this spell. I will still get the items because one never knows when a situation will occur where I would have no qualms about making one. Thank you again for all your help!

I would love to show my Vinegar jar story I too, myself don't have a lot.of money to go buy everything herbs, oil etc. So I cleaned out a pickle jar and used that on a Monday night but I believe with my good faith and visuals my work will still be as strong! I use black pepper, red pepper, poppy seeds, 3 pins and 3 nails, on the blank white sheet of paper wrote the couple's name 9 times each on opposite sides tore the paper down the middle visualising the couple going their separate ways. Then folded the paper there names back to back still visualizing them arguing. Throw the paper in the jar. Calling them in the jar still visualizing them arguing . Meditating for a couple of minutes, shaking the jar! Been 2 days and I'm most certain it's working. I shake my jar twice a day!

Hi,

I ran out of black candles about 2 weeks ago and I won't be able to get any more for a little while. So instead of burning candles on it for the last few weeks I have double wrapped it in a black plastic bag and left it inside a black box and it has not seen the light of day for the last 2 weeks. I do shake and curse it every Saturday, but it stays inside the bag the whole time.

I just thought that the black plastic would be "smothering & suffocating" any relationship and residual that they may have left for each other and of course leaving it in darkness would cast darkness on their feelings for each other, but I was just wondering if anyone would be able to advise me if what I am doing is alright?

It is not uncommon to put work in dark locations for similar purposes. However it is not replacing a candle. If you cant find black, you can always use a white candle and dress it with the proper oil, roll it in herbs or powders that fit with the work.
