I just wanted to say first of all thank you for this forum and everyone posting on it. Even though I don't post frequently I feel like my learning curve has jumped exponentially by reading the questions and advice of everyone on here.

On to the topic at hand, I have a close friend who was going through a bad patch of depression last year. She's started in with a therapist, does a regular yoga practice, and following Cat's wonderful formula that she had up here I made her a mojo that she carried with her every day. All of this worked amazingly well, plus she really credits that mojo with being the deciding factor.

So recently she asked me if there was something similar for women's libido (I'm hoping I was correct in calling it nature in the topic post). It seems that the low dose Lexapro that her therapist prescribed has put the whammy on her sex drive. I asked her about love, and she stated that love wasn't really a factor, she feels plenty loved it's just that her libido is in the dumps. I've know both her and her husband for over a decade and agree with her on this. She's talked to her therapist and her doctor about this side effect and both said there are exercises that some people are successful with, but a lot of people will have a lowered libido as a result of the Lexapro.

Digging into HHRM it seems that most of the herbs for restoring lost sexual nature are designated for helping a male's restoration. The only two that I found that weren't specifically designated as such was a tea brewed with dill and ginger that was used as a body rub for nine days, and boiling a calamus root in whiskey. Am I right in assuming that since they aren't specifically labeled as for a male that they can be used for women as well?

Also, would Kiss Me Now and/or Chuparossa be and appropriate oil/satchet powder/incense in this type of work, or are their others that would be effective?

In the meantime I told her to visit a Chinese apothecary that has a really good owner that's located a few blocks away that is really good at advice, especially interactions with western medication. Figured it's best to find as much help as possible. On a side note, the owner calls Angelica root Don Kwai (I'm probably hosing that spelling) and says it's 'female ginseng'.

Well, you could make her a mojo hand with Queen Elizabeth root, lovage, damiana, dragon's blood, catnip, wild cherry bark, and cardamon. You can add calamus root and ginger if you like, for a nine herb mojo. I would dress this with a "sex" oil like Kiss Me Now. I would have her wear it in her bra close to her heart.

That's what I would prescribe.

So this is actually not my problem it's a friend's problem.

Her husband while away cheated on her and then got his Mistress pregnant.

Being a woman that she is, is all about the fact that she took vows in front of God to stand by her husband, she too is still having sex with her husband. She refuses to take birth control pills or any precautions in that aspect, but she doesn't want to get pregnant because they haven't fixed their issues yet.

She wanted to know if there is a prayer or a spell for her that she can do to for temporary infertility.

She wants me to perform it for her so I guess a spell or prayer that I can do for her? Does that make since?

I'm sure a lot of yawl are thinking, "She needs to stop sleeping with that man all together!"

I thought that too, but she feels it's part of her wifely duties. **Shrug**.

Sure, you could pray that she doesn't get pregnant, or you could curse her into infertility, or tie her nature, but with out either using a form of birth control or not having sex with him she still stands a very real chance of getting pregnant, magic is wonderful but reality is what it is, if she doesn't want to get pregnant she will have to take responsibility for her body.

There are herbal and natural methods of birth control if she might be more agreeable to something like that. It's not as reliable as modern hormonal birth control, but it's better than nothing at all. If you PM me I can send you some info.

I really think there's emotional reasons for why this area is messed up, so I think this needs to be approached from a hoodoo angle too. ...is it like bacterial vaginitis, surprisingly it might be meat consumption. The antibiotics used in treating livestock, and chicken subsequently kills the good bacteria, and causes the overgrowth in bad bacteria "down there". Im sorry, I dont know any spiritual remedies...maybe pray for an answer or knowledge. Try changing ur diet for awhile, and see how that works...the best of luck!

I would recommend doing that, and it might be your sexual activities as well. I mean if a man is not cleaning himself well either or he has an STD then it can cause you to have problems down there as well. If it is persistent though, sounds pretty serious, and magical means does not take the place of medical advice. You could try a healing spell, but I would get another opinion from a doctor on what it could be.

Well, not only could it be your diet, but it could be the soap, perfume, fabric, tampons, pretty much anything foreign to the body. It could be the result of hormones out of balance as well. So with that said, try changing that. If you already have, then I do not know what to tell you as I am not a doctor. Furthermore, you could try healing, or even an uncrossing spell, but just be aware that it does not take the place of more medicinal things you might have to do. It might not be vaginitis, you might be misdiagnosed, and it might be much more serious than you think.

I would recommend that you do a series of cleansing 13 herb bath, and then a healing bath (9 herb bath). When bathing I don't pour the same water over me more then once. I take a pan with the bathwater and scoop it over me, to avoid infection. I feel the herbal bath are gentler, since there won't be any salt left on the skin. I would burn vaginal candles, maybe first a white with uncrossing oil while doing the 13 herb baths. Then a blue with healing oil, and then a red with power oil. I would work these each candle for a series of days and you can compliment with incense.

I would as Lucylookingskyward mentioned wash with oils, coconut or other vegetable oil instead of soap (I make my own mix of fixed oils coconut, canola, jojoba etc and sometime add a tiny bit of essential oils that are healing both spiritually and physically like lavender).

I would not recommend to spray yourself with florida water, or if you do leave your pants on while doing it. I do find it really good to use incense, burning the incense powder on the floor and standing over it.

Although you say you've had all medical work done, this is a medical issue and I would start to petition Dr Jose Gregorio Hernandez, with his oil burning on a candle also. It is so important to have the best doctor possible when facing physical problems that effect your sexuality. I find that if I get treatment as soon as the symptoms occur the better it will be, the severity and consequences of the attack will be less.

Then you can get a blessing mojo with a cowrie shell anointed with menstrual blood and dressed with healing oil, or make your own using female herbs like angelica, althea, Orris root, self heal etc. If she appeals to you put a sheel-na-gig on the ouside of the bag. I had the same problem with BV. I would go to the doctor and get some medicine for it, and it would help for awhile but after a few months it would return! Hello all,

I'm new in this forum, and I come to ask for help. This is very embarrasing for me, but I must talk about it:

Hey guys, I'm gonna let you know a little bit about me before I begin. I'm a 25 yr old male who is an aspiring fitness model. (No I do not take steroids or anything that would affect my body negatively ). Last summer (2013) I took a medication called accutane which is suppose to clear your face which it did. A few months later I've noticed that my sex drive and ability to get an erection with a girl has completely vanished. This has never been an issue, I get spotaneous erections from time to time, but when I'm with a girl I do not get aroused. I've been going to the doctor and getting multiple test done to see if there are any imbalances in my hormone levels and everything is perfectly fine. I've been told by the doctors that it could be phycological but I know my body better than anyone else. And never having any mental issues with having sex especially being addicted to it, is highly unlikely that it is mental. I've been talking to this beautiful girl who has been with me and sticking it out for a yr and I'm afraid that I'm gonna lose her. I've been having suicide thoughts cause it just feels overwhelming being told by doctors that I'm fine when I'm not. First and foremost if you're suicidal, you need to seek medical and/or psychological support for the issue - it's serious and will only contribute to adding more stress for you to perform; anxiety which will serve to make Mr. Happy's situation worse. Your emotional well-being needs to be addressed in tandem with the physical issue.

You would add thee herbs to an unscented liquid soap and then let it steep for about a week so that the herbs mix in well with the soap.

Everybody is different when it comes to when spells work.

You could feel the effects immediately or it may take awhile. There's no way that we can answer that question. Every person is different and magic works differently on everybody

Not sure if I'm in the right thread I need suggestions though

I had my son April fools (baby) I had some complications his cord was around his neck but was okay..he had a super high level of jaundice didn't find out til I had to take him back to the hospital for not eating and drowsiness.. He loss some weight,was in distress,couldn't do normal infant things and had to be poked and probed for testing..luckily no brain damage and his jaundice level went wayy down also every test they've ran so far have been negative but they are still trying to figure out why he's not displaying certain normal infant behavior..

I'm just ready for my baby to be well and come home out of nicu at by the time we move into our new home.. Sometimes it seem like the doctor knows what she doing other times I want her dismissed..

What if you wanted to "curse" yourself with infertility? I don't want to ever bear children, and being permanently infertile-- without surgery, for just the cost of magical supplies-- sounds pretty enticing. Is there something that would actually work? Is it painful or dangerous, does it affect sex drive? This isn't something I would run out and do without a lot of prayer, thought, and divination, but I'm curious to learn more about it all the same.

Most of the people who give advices in this forum also offer readings at the AIRR, Association of Independent Readers and Rootworkers. You can book a reading with any of them, and ask anything you like. They are prepared to deal with situations such as your concern of having been cursed or hexed, and if that is the case, they will be able to reverse it and remedy any unpleasent condition you've been going through, or teach you to do so yourself. The most important thing at the moment is for you to get a reading so that they can tell you what is actually going on.
