Update:
I texted my target the other night to wish him a happy birthday. He was happy to hear from me. We talked for a bit and then talked again yesterday. Now this is the part were I'm confused. He brought up the topic about why he became so distant. He said it was over a little white lie that I told (it wasn't cheating or anything bad like that).. When I got my reading done they said it was over work issues ( I got two readings and both came out the same).. So now I'm confused over him and why he became distant. My readings also said he missed me and I was on his mind (Yes!

)

Anyways, my Deers tongue herb should be in by tomorrow.
I was wondering do I rub it all over the skull or just the head and mouth? I also have a white and red skull.
I was thinking of using Command oil but would it work if I use Love Me & reconciliation oil?
My petition paper just states for him to Love me & Want me.

miss_adri89,

When I use a skull candle, I like to just drill a hole in the mouth of the skull and put a bit of Deers Tongue in there, to help my target communicate the ideas I'm embedding in his head. I sometimes add sugar or honey to keep his words sweet. I don't think you'd need to rub it all over the skull. Target it where its purpose is most needed, right there in his kisser.

Since you're already getting some nice movement (he's talking and happy to hear from you), I'd be more inclined to use the Love Me/Reconciliation combo vs. anything more coercive like Commanding oil. Keep working at it, as you're starting to get results, and stay positive. Good luck!

Hi Charls,

Glad to help and yes, the money products are to help you keep money with you and if that means not having to pay her fees then put that part into your petition. If you think about the oils and products they get close but they are still fairly general, if you have a very specific need that needs to be part of your petition that you write and put with the spell work.

I don't know if I would use command for an emotional feeling. That's kind of hard to do.

I prefer using it more for an action. So, using it to talk to you or to do something would be more appropriate.

Either color is fine for your purposes.

Thank You Athena for the tips.
I drilled a hole on the mouth and added the Deers tongue herb and closed it up with wax. Then I rubbed the mouth with organic honey and sugar and rubbed some more Deers tongue..
I also drilled the ears so he could hear me. I annoited the skull with Love me Oil..
I did my prayer and talked to it for 15mins. The flame was high and steady.
When I was going to snuff it out with my snuffing tool, I felt my fingers hot due to the flame being so high, it felt like I got burned. First time that's ever happened..

Update:
So last night/today at midnight was my 2nd night of working on my skull.. I did my 15mins of prayer like my reader had advised me following by talking to it.. After I was done, I got on Facebook and saw my target was awake and was drinking and celebrating halloween (I thought he was asleep). I read on here that if the target is drunk that his guard is also down (same as if he's asleep) right?
Anyways, I went to bed and I woke up around 3am because my dog wanted to hop into my bed & I seen I had 2 missed calls from my target followed by a text asking if I was awake.
I replied to him in the morning and he didn't talk about it or had nothing to say about it.. Ugh, men I swear lol

I have a question. Last night when I lit my candle up, it started as a low flame and then I heard a 3 pop noises and then it went up to a high flame (like a regular medium steady flame). There was no herbs around the wick or oil since when I dressed it up, I kept the wick away from it.. I read on the candle divination but I didn't understand it, especially since mine started out as a low flame then popped and went to a high/medium steady flame.

Hi I have a question about using a red skull candle.

My ex girlfriend is not on talking terms with me and I am trying to get her to talk to me and call me. I already have a honey jar going and I am burning a candle dressed with "return to me oil and powder" over a petition encircled by "return to me."

I now have the skull candle, a petition paper with my girlfriend's name crossed by my name and a photo oh her. My aim is to get her to think of me, to need me and to call me. I know that I have to carve out a hole/cavity on the bottom of the candle and load the items and reseal it with red wax.

Therefore, with this skull candle i am asking these questions:

1) Can anyone give suggestions for wording that I can use to encircle the names on this petition paper, and also on the photo?

2) What oil can I use to dress the candle?

3) Any suggestions as to what to carve/write on the skull candle?

1) You wrote, "My aim is to get her to think of me, to need me and to call me." Therefore, write "think of me, need me, call me" on the petition.

2) Skull candles used in this way are often dressed with a blend of two oils , of which one is Influence Oil. In your case, Return To Me and Influence would be a good choice.

3) If you wish to inscribe the candle (which, strictly speaking, is optional), you may write her name all over it repeatedly with a needle and then cover that writing with your petition "think of me, need me, call me" written repeatedly all over her name.

Hello! I just started a skull candle and since I live with my family, I've been burning in the middle of the night while my target is asleep, then I pinch it out and put it away. Last night, I pinched it out and didn't wait for the wax to dry. I pinched it and lifted it up to put in the cabinet. When i did that I accidentally spilled the wax on the floor. Does this affect my work ? Do I have to start all over ?

I would finish that candle. And I would keep the wax that spilled for proper disposal.

Then, I would start another new skull candle spell again (jut to make sure that you have burned all the wax and get proper wax symbols).

I am currently doing a honey jar, but am planning on doing a red skull candle to, but i have a few questions, I do apologies if any of these have been asked already, but i am a little confused and really want to get it right !

would it be a good idea to burn the candle on top of the honey jar ?

The petition paper i am confused if i should dig out the bottom of the candle and put it in there or just place under the candle?
can i use a photo along with the petition paper?
do i fold the petition paper in a certain way ? do i need to write it in a certain way like the honey jar spell?

I am planning on using dressing oils, two like come to me and follow me boy or
can i use more than 2 ?

and lastly sorry for so many questions.... is it ok to expect to see something happen as long as 3 months later ?

You could burn it on top of your honey jar or next to it.

You could put your petition paper inside or under the skull, different people have different preferences. Personally, I put petition papers beneath the skull but that's just my habit.

Since you're doing love drawing work, you would fold the petition towards you. Write it specifically towards your goals, such as "(his name) desires me" and carve the skull with similar thoughts from your target's perspective, such as "I desire (your name)". You can use a photo as well.

Mixing oils is a great idea as long as they correspond with your goal. Come to Me/Follow Me Boy is a nice combination to draw a specific someone towards you.

As for seeing results, the rule of thumb is to look for signs in 3 days, movement in 3 weeks and manifestation in 3 months but that is simply a guideline.

Hi daulton,

You may want to consider getting some magical coaching on how to work with oils and candles for success in your desires. If you want a gal to fall in love with you, working with a red skull candle (since they don't sell it in pink) and a combo of Come To Me and Love Me oils along with a little Influence would be more usual.

I'd keep Confusion oil out of the mix. If you need to confuse her in the mind a little for love, use poppy petals cut up very small, perhaps some Influence oil, a bit of Commanding if her will is particularly hard to bend, but Confusion is a little harsh (granted that's just a personal opinion).

The Special Oil #20 is a good all-purpose candle dressing oil that you can use for your aim.

There's also a great spell that StarsintheSky7 posted in this thread on influencing someone's mind to get them to fall in love with you, look through the earlier pages to find it: you might want to work with that since it's a really complete spell with detailed instructions. It's written for a woman working on a man, but swap the Follow Me Boy oil for Follow Me Girl and the menstrual blood for semen and you can work it as a guy without a problem.

It's a good product choice to work with for your intention. The way you word your petition and the strength of will of your target (along with their predisposition to loving you in the first place) will make a difference. So will your own magical skill and the way the spell is worked. Read through this whole thread for a solid understanding of how to work the candle and then work accordingly.

Well they are no longer together now which I'm happy about lol,
But I don't think my target is anymore interested in me, we exchanged a few texts, he says he's even more skeptical about relationships now than before,

Hello everyone!

Hi! I'm planning on doing my first spell on someone for the first time. It's to get someone to fall for me or at least think of me. Tell me if there's anything I should add, or subtract to make the spell stronger. So here's my plan. *Clears throat*

I'm ordering a red skull candle and I plan on dressing it in "Love me oil" "Come to me oil" and "Influence oil". I'm gonna write his full name on the top of the skull, around it will be what I want him to think or feel about me in a heart shape.

I plan on drilling a whole in the mouth part of the skull and filling it with a bit of deer's tongue along with some sugar hoping it'll draw him into talking to me more and actually wanting to talk to me more.

Underneath the skull would be a picture of him facing up with my petition written on his face.. actually I was debating that part.

1) Should I write the petition on his face of the picture or on the back of his picture? (Let me know what you think!)

2) Lastly is... putting a few drops of menstrual blood in his carved name at the top of the skull. I've heard a few things about menstrual blood though.. I've heard it can make men obsessed and that isn't what I'm aiming for. I just want me to be on his mind a lot. Any who, if you have any idea's or suggestions please be sure to let me know.

I love how you have done your homework and are well planned before implementing it.

Well, some people write the petition on the face (that's what I do) and some on the back. But, I prefer the face.

Menstrual blood sometimes does that but not frequently. It rarely happens if it's not ingested by the target. It happens only occasionally if ingested by the target. So, I wouldn't worry about it.

I have a question.. I read that along with the other things I'm planning on doing I could also drill holes in the eyes of the skull a put like pictures of myself in there.. If I add that to my spell do you think that'll be bad? Like I said before, I'm not aiming for him to be obsessed with me.

It won't cause an obsession.

I do this spell all the time and drill holes and place pictures and petition papers. It works very well.

Just make sure that the pictures are small so that you don't have a huge fire when the wick/flame catches the paper.

hello I have a question I would like to start a skull candle tonight I have a red one from LM... I have dominating oil, do as I say oil,return to me oil,come to me oil and follow me boy and also deer tongue. which would I use and can I just put my petition paper and his picture underneath the candle also do I need to do a spiritual bath as I did not order that any help is greatly appreciated I also have to pink return to me candles burning but we are not speaking.

So I started a red skull candle tonight - the thing is I ordered this candle from LM quite a while ago, possibly over a year and a half ago, so I am wondering if this is a factor since it's such a dense candle. It started as a regular-low flame, and as it got to the wax, the flame went out. I had to re-light it a couple of times - what finally helped was tilting the candle and pouring out some of the wax that was pooling around the wick. After that it was fine. I also had four offertory candles going around the skull and those flames were high and strong. I'm certain I read somewhere on here that "helping" a candle is OK and that it won't affect the spell. Was it the age of the candle? Or perhaps a sign of a bit of initial difficulty "breaking" into his head for the first time? A little of both?

Hi jwmcclin - I apologise for my impatience.

I have now finished reading all 22 pages of the thread...I got the information I need and then some. This a.m. was the second burning - regular size flame, slow-ish burn, but the hole at the top of the skull is widening. I think I may just keep burning it for 15-20 minutes for as long as it takes. I've done the same successfully with a candle to attract success at work - and also, if a lot of the skull is left by 7 days, I fear it will take hours and hours to make a final burn to completion, which would make me nervous that someone will see it etc. Also, my target is a bit mentally fragile, I suppose you could say...social phobia, anxiety prone type...so I think taking my time and doing it in small increments would be wise. I will be sure to post any updates! (PS I'm working a honey jar as well - going to that thread next to find as many suggestions as possible)

When I burn figure candles I try and time it out so the candle will burn evenly ( the best that it can) like the skull candle it is a thick and wide candle. may need to burn it more then 20 minutes to get it around the wide forehead, fireplace matches would be good to light it as it goes.

J82 - I followed your advice and last night I let the candle burn longer. The four offertory candles, which were purple and dressed with Commanding oil, all started waving and dancing around, some making occasional popping noises, until they all burnt out completely. The skull, meanwhile, maintains this steady,medium-low flame all the while. It never changes, whether I pour out the wax or not. My ex meanwhile has been quiet...I've been leaving him be (even though it hurts more than anything) but I think going forward I'm going to leave out the offertory candles...I'm afraid using too much "command" on him will backfire.

Oh, I might as well also mention I received what I believe to be a sign last night. I ordered combination fried rice from a Chinese restaurant last night, and it turned out to have imitation crab meat in it. I have never seen imitation crab meat in fried rice before in my life - the only way I knew it even existed, is because my ex told me about it because he loves it.

I have a question about the skull candles. I want to gently persuade my man to change his mind about getting a vasectomy, or at least to get it reversed. The problem is this-- I can't get his sexual fluids because he flat out refuses to touch me again til he gets snipped (in a month from now). We have 2 children -- he is "done" and I am not. We can definitely afford a child and have the room. What color candle is best for this type of work? Can I use the hair from his head? (I do have that.)

Hello everyone!

Hi! I'm doing a spell on myself real soon and I wanted to know if any of you guys have any experience with doing spells on yourself and how they turned out. Please don't say anything negative, I really need inspiration.

I'm buying a white skull and I'm going to dress it with "Courage oil", "Healing oil", and "Power oil". {{I need all of them trust me haha. }} I'm going to write my full name on top of the skull and around it what I wish for. I'm gonna have a picture of me facing up with the petition on my face. I'll poke 3 holes in the top of the skull and fill them with different herbs. {{Master of the woods, Pine needles, and Coltsfoot herbs.}} I thought about lighting incense as well. Saint Dymphna Incense, Blessing Incense & Transquility incense.

I've got a question, and I'm so nervous to ask, but uh.. Can we light incense on the candle? Or would that be too much? I'm sorry if it sounds stupid but I just wanna know. I don't want to do too much.. or is there a such thing as over doing it in magic? If you "over do it" does that make the spell not work? I'm just freaking nervous of messing up!

I think you guys can feel my anxiety through reading this. But I'm alright, I'm just wondering if there's a such thing as over doing it when it comes down to magic? Does my magic sound like too much or enough? Please give me you're positive feedback. Thank you!

Many of us do work for ourselves as well as others. What I can say is that it often manifests in a manner all its own, that's best suited to our specific needs and situations, but not necessarily how we want it to. I actually prefer this type of manifestation and allow for it in petitions - giving space for God and Spirit to bring what is necessary for growth. Others find that working with very specific petitions can help guide the work in a very precise direction and that suits them better. Both are fine ways of working and can yield some pretty impressive results.

When it comes to burning incense, it is a great adjunct to any spell, but not to be burnt on the candle itself. Place some in an incense burner or heat-safe container lined with sand or salt behind the candle as it burns. Smoke the burning candle in the incense as it burns, letting the smoke carry your prayers to God and within your own mind, via the candle.

Happy new year everybody, hope it started with a bang for all

Now I have enjoyed reading every post on this 22 page thread and gleaned so much knowledge it is truly fantastic. But now I post as I couldn't quite find certain answers that pertained to my situation, so hopefully someone can help me out.

My ex partner and I went through a rather nasty breakup, a lot of hurt, upset and anger on both parts...but we still love each other alot. Although we haven't spoken in just over a month due to his seeing someone else. Now I see on the boards people in estranged situations opting for red skull candle 'come to me' type conjuring, now whilst I do eventually want to do reconciliation type work, from what I have read I am figuring first I should do a white skull candle and use healing oil to subside the feelings between us so the road is opened so to speak for other work.

Q1. Would it be advisable to add influence oil at this stage or would that change the nature of this working from healing gentle to too forceful right about now? Also would blessing oil be a good addition?
Q2. As I too am feeling the hurt etc along with his photo under the skull should I include one of myself facing and tied with his?
Q3. In terms of the petition or should it be on his photos reverse?for my situation would I cross his name with my name ×3 or their name with my goal i.e heal the hurt so we can communicate & talk with love etc?

I am already getting a reading from the A.I.R.R, but starting this work before I do shouldn't hurt I expect. I should add I already have my supplies those being:

1 white skull candle
Healing oil
Influence oil (if needed)
Blessing oil (if needed)

Herbs
Damiana ...to bring back a straying lover ( he is seeing someone else right now)
Dill seed...to make me irresistable in his mind helping the healing?
Rose buds...to stir up and nurture the love

I also plan to drill a hole in the mouth and alongside the other bits add honey and sugar so he speaks sweet things to me. Any other suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance
