Hi kyuss27,

I would change just a few things. I would use a lemon instead of lime for souring. Cut the Lemon in half. Write both names in black ink. Face torn pictures away from each other. Add feces and herbs and other items. Completely cover the lemon in black yarn and then place in jar with extra herbs, etc.

You can preform the spell anything after noon ( When the sun is setting) and the clock hands are going down on the clock also during the hour of Mars. Saturday is a good day as well.

The ashes from your dog would be a great Spiritual help. Your hurt and anger will work wonderful for this spell.

I would introduce each herb individually stating it's intention.

If you don't have her date of birth, you would be targeting everyone around the world with that name. Do some research and see if you can find it.

I just placed an order for items to use in a vinegar jar. I have been debating whether to use a lemon or lime, is this just a personal preference for you or is one more effective than the other? I had never heard of a lime being used until recently.
Also, I have pictures to use in my vinegar jar. When I saw the lime used, the pics where rolled and wrapped with black thread and place inside the lime. When you say, face the pics away from each other, are they inside the lemon or floating freely inside the jar?

my ex message to me about a week ago and we talked for maybe an hour. he told me that he wanted to stop flirting with me, commit to his new girlfriend, and see the relationship through, but if it didn't work out he would not mind giving me another chance.

Update:
(BTW sorry but I didn't get to read your reply before hand)

The morning I woke up to do this I found out that my parents cars were broken into. at first I took this as a bad sign, but still had to try. I started my spell on Tuesday during the Mars hours and a waning moon. I wrote his name on a brown piece of paper. I wrote it 9 times with his birthday written 9 times over it then "break up" in black ink around. and then wrote her name on the opposite side of the page 9 times and the phrase "break up" around it. I couldn't put her birthday because I don't know her birthday. I've been took LM commanding oil and exed out both names. I then put a picture of him and black dog hairs on the paper and I folded his paper towards me and then rolled it up. I took her paper folded it away from me and rolled it up. I proceeded to wrap both rolls in black yarn. Cut open a lime because a lemon would not a fit my jar unfortunately and rubbed the inside of the lime with red cayenne pepper, crushed red peppers, black pepper, and salt. I put both of their names in the lime. I had a bit a difficulty keeping the papers from touching. I guess the papers were too long and the lime was too small, but every time I went to put the top on the lime the papers with fold towards each other and touch. So I placed a piece of glass in between. As I was wrapping the lime in black yarn I couldn't fully see you whether not the papers were touching. I then dropped the lime in feces and wrapped it in foil. I believe I wrap it with the dull side inwards. as I went to put the lime in the jar I had a little difficulty. The foil made the lime bigger so I had to push it past the mouth of the jar. once it was inside I added 9 nails, salt, cayenne pepper, crushed red pepper, black pepper, lemon juice, glass shards, graveyard dirt, footprint dirt, commanding oil, black wax, and apple cider vinegar cuz I didn't have any vinegar. I hope that's okay. And milk. I then closed the jar that had 9 Mars symbols in permanent black marker and burned a black candle with his name and birthday on one side and her name on one side and breakup written between both names. The flame was tall and It didn't really move much until I started praying. It seems every time I pray it moves but when I don't say a word it's just glows tall. really tall. I then to the jar wrapped it in a black scarf and put it underneath my toilet.

So far:
literally seconds after I was done, violin music popped up into my head. I do not listen to violin music and it was kind of like a wedding theme song. That pissed me off. the entire day I tried watching TV listening to music just doing anything I could to keep the spell off my mind and I'm really good at that but I felt anxious the entire day. I know that how is spell works is with how much faith you have in it. if it works I will be ecstatic and if it doesn't I'll be devastated but either works or it doesn't.
today however was a little bit of a weird one. I worked the spell again today during the Mars hour.I know I have a problem looking for signs I have a tendency to over read almost everything you know cuz I'm so busy looking for signs that I make them. But there is a tree in my front yard. very small one and it hasn't dropped leaves. But when I left my house today it seemed my yard was covered in its leaves. I tried not to think too much of it. Like I said I have a tendency to over read things. As I was headed towards the bank I had a sudden urge to turn around and go to the same bank that's located in a different area so I turned around and I started to drive. and I swear I passed my ex on the road. He usually doesn't get home until about 6 and this was 530 from where I passed him on the road was literally in front of his neighbor. He can really blend into a crowd but he has a mustache that is extremely noticeable. I said okay well maybe he got home a little early today and I was right in front of his neighborhood so no biggie. Then he messaged me. he didn't message me anything different then what he would normally do and let's just say his messages are less than committed to his girlfriend. But it was different somehow. He asked one question and then seemed to keep trying to push me off the phone like he was agitated.

I'm mostly sharing all this for future readers and I feel like getting it out will get it out of my head. I really don't want to overthink this spell. I really want it to work. But any opinions are more than welcome. 24 hours and I'm already confused.

I find time and again that worrying and overworking a situation - picking the scab as I call it - I know it's hard, but have faith in the work you did. It's solid.

I will have to agree that maybe some of the signs you were reading were a little too coincidental. It's November, there will be leaves, but having him message you right after and seeing him or his doppelganger is a pretty good sign.

Take a deep breath, let the work do its work and expect good things to happen.

Hello all! Just updating...
I disposed what I could of my 1st vinegar jar after it broke... threw some peppers, wax and herbs over my shoulder. A couple days later, I thought I got a small sign but thought to myself "not sure if that was a sign. If I'm going to get a sign, I need it to not be a coincidence" (especially since I only had burned one candle on the jar and had it together for one day, I wasn't expecting a sign) Shortly after, I got to work (I work at a bar) and when I opened the hallway door to hang my coat, the first thing I see is a coat hanging there from my targets work place. Someone from his work place must've been in for lunch and left their work coat. It caught me way off guard, it actually made me gasp out loud. After a second, I giggled to myself and thought "well, you asked for a stronger sign and you got it". (That's a sign right? Haha or am I losing it?)

I've put together my new jar, same ingredients as before except this time I added some break up oil (I didn't anoint the pictures, I just dropped a bunch in the jar haha) and I added some ghost peppers. Couldn't find regular chili peppers but I know ghost peppers are amazingly hot. I burned a black candle on it for 7 nights. On the 5th night (a day after my break up candle ended), I wasn't feeling good at all but I made a point to still crawl out of bed and carve, anoint, and light my candle. I lit it with focus, but then had to go straight back to bed. Woke up to the cleanest burn I'd had, only the wick left. Last night was the 7th night... I always have a hard time seeing anything in my leftover wax... as the candle was finishing, I noticed there was more wax than usual so I tried to see something in it. Of course thinking "I can never seem to see anything in the wax", I immediately notice the wax has formed, perfectly, a hand giving me a thumbs up... it made me giggle out loud. (Again, a sign or am I losing it? Haha)
Speaking of break up candle, a few days after it ended, I was at work, looked out the window twice. Both times I could've sworn I saw my targets truck, same color and everything. Its a common truck, but still was weird.

I thought about working the jar for another straight week. Even though there was still wax leftover, I'm not sure I need to, since I thought I saw a thumbs up. I've read most work it for a week and then go to Tuesdays and Saturdays.... I liked the idea of working it for another week, gives me something to put my frustration in to, but I also think it might be necessary to let the jar now do it's job.

I didn't realize the lemon spell is a vinegar jar helper... very cool idea. I thought the lemon spell and vinegar jar were separate. I almost wish I would've done that. But I think I'm satisfied with mine.

I just wanted to see how others with experience felt about my "signs". It's hard to stay positive because I really miss him and someone else is with him other than me... so posting, explaining and sharing are ways to help myself. Thank you so much for the guidance and positivity you all bring!

hi guys,
I'm very upset and jealous right now and it's the perfect time to redo my vinegar jar - I have the pictures (already torn them apart with name and DOB written on the back) the nails, pins, needles, cayenne pepper and other spicy herbs - but I'm missing LM break up oil which my order is still being processed.,.. it's saturday and it's perfect to do it with the anger i have now.. can i add the break up oil later after I did the vinegar jar now?

I deployed my old vinegar jar with the wrong DOB of targeted woman so I was hoping to do a new one now since i'm so upset - but thanks for pointing out that the break up oil is essential..I'll have to wait till my order gets here to start a new jar. Personally, I think there is too much emphasis placed on the importance of DOB.
I'm pretty sure the old timey rootworkers from the South didn't use DOB in rootwork.
My Daddy doesn't have a fixed birthdate, his Mama submitted his birth certificate a few weeks after he was born. Since he had six siblings it wasn't a big concern to have an exact DOB.
My birthdate isn't fixed because I was born in a small town in a little house during a flood. Its just a guess when my DOB is. That's how it was in the South. But it is all of personal opinion, some workers do things by a target's date of birth, some do not.

What about a freezer spell? Pour your anger into the spell,
spew out your anger on the petition with things like, red pepper, vandal root and some goofer dust. Put the target's pic inside the petition with all the stuff on it.
Pray for justice, close up the jar, work a small black candle on top of the jar. When the candle is finished,
put the jar in the freezer.

And when you're this angry and doing this type of work, don't forget to do your protection baths.

Hello all. Quick question. I've done a search but didn't really find an answer for part of my question. Can one use a vinegar jar to sour a person on a place? Like maybe write the name of the place, or the geographic coordinates and maybe place it with some photos of and items associated with the place in the jar? Or the address if it's a specific place. If you were trying to sour them on the place and specific persons or companies associated with that place, could you do all in the same jar?

I am working a vinegar jar with LM Four Thieves Vinegar to cause discord between my corrupt boss and our organization. I put his original signature paper in the jar along with the logo of our organization and nine pins. I've been shaking it and commanding him to leave the organization and then lighting candles dressed in a home made hotfoot oil.

I'm hoping a better opportunity will open up for him elsewhere. I don't want him to cause him excessive suffering, I just want him gone. He is clearly very stressed and unhappy and taking it out on everyone. We've had a new CEO for a little over a year and she doesn't like him. I'm hoping the jar will help tip the scales so that their relationship will sour and worsen. This will drive him away.

It's only been a couple of days and I'm currently on medical leave until December 3 so I can't watch for signs (the leave is from stress induced by him and also ongoing health issues). Because I'm not able to validate my work, I'm tempted to just store it away and forget about it until I return to work.. This way I won't obsess and wonder what's happening in my absence.

Any thoughts?

The fact that your boss and the company are both in the jar full of nasty things is enough to keep the pressure on during your leave. You could continue to work it (burn candles on it, give it a violent shake every now and then, etc.) even though you are not in the office. Not obsessing over your work is key, so whatever you do, have faith that you will succeed. It sounds like he's on shaky ground as it is, so it may just be a matter of time.

Thanks Athena and Miss Aida. I feel justified in the work because he is corrupt. Normally I don't feel comfortable doing any kind of curse, but this feels right. It would do the department and the organization a world of good to have him leave. Also, he will be happier in a private sector job where he isn't so restrained by public sector policies and a president who consistently busts his balls. He can be the fat cat that he is. I hope I will be doing him a favor. I don't hate him, I just think he's bad for the institution and the staff under his purview (he is a VP and we work in higher education).

I'm doing better, just have lots of appointments to go to and want to focus on fortifying myself to face the pressures at work and my mother's illness.

Thanks Athena. I lit another candle and the wick split again and two distinct pools of wax formed. Pretty cool. It's so rewarding to see the signs in the candles without the ability to verify my work in person.

I've been using my pendulum to ask questions about him and his job as well. It said he will leave the department but when I asked if he will leave the organization, I got a "maybe" reading. That makes me think he still has a shot at the promotion he applied for. He would be out of my immediate environment, but have more power. That's better for me but worse for the students, staff and faculty we serve.

can i light a black candle every night on my vinegar jar or should it just be tuesday and saturday? can i do a honey and vinegar jar on same nights in different parts of the house? my honey jar is working beautiful, fast and extremely effective (not only is he contacting me everyday now he actually called me baby 2 times today) i burned a candle every day on it for the first 3 weeks was just wondering if i can do the same for the vinegar.

I usually burn candles daily for about a week when I start a jar and then on the appropriate days per week afterwards. However, I also burn a candle when I feel the need to add to the energy of the spell, regardless of the day. So you could burn candles as often as you wish. You're already getting good signs so keep at it.

If you are working both a vinegar and honey jar, it would be better to burn candles on your honey jar in the morning as the sun is rising, since this is drawing work. Burn candles on your vinegar jar at night. This also keeps your intentions and prayers focused on the work at hand. Keep them on separate altars in your home as well. Hope that makes sense.

Despite the positive signs I was seeing, I wasn't feeling good about working my vinegar jar so I poured it down the kitchen sink (after removing the pins). My garbage disposal broke shortly after.

Was this a big mistake? I cleaned the sink with Chinese Wash after but I don't know if I unleashed a bunch of negativity.

My reasoning is that I want to stay away from negative workings until I have more experience. Clearly I have conflicted feelings about curses, so a better understanding of spiritual principles and divorcing myself from the concept of karma is needed.

I don't think you need to divorce yourself from karma. I think and this is just my OPINION no disrespect to any of the seasoned practioners. I think karma in a sense is a part of hoodoo because as the rootworker say the work has to be JUSTIFIED if it's not there is a huge chance it will backfire. Now look at it this way if the work is justified you're giving the person back what is just. The word Karma is from the Hindi religion but when people really say Karma what they really mean or another way to say it is one reaps as one sows which is from the bible. So if someone is being unfair or nasty and your work is justified then in a way it is their karma coming back to them for the casualties that they have caused.

From my experience I know how you feel, I don't feel comfortable crossing people or even sending negativity out in the world, but I've tried other things and this person wouldn't let up and continued to do their negative BS. I prayed, I prayed, I cried, I cried , and I prayed, God kept leading me to this site and after much hesitation I said let it fly. Now this person has put so much nastiness into the world and now through the info on this site I've finally been able to find a solution to getting rid of her. Yes I have to do some negative work, do I prefer it, NO! I'd rather be out shopping to tell you the truth, but some people in this world like to play with fire and burn people for their own amusement. However, they don't understand that they shouldn't play with fire until someone else lights their ass on fire.

Negative work isn't a nice thing but if it's needed with no other choice I say you give that person back their "karma."

Try your jar again.

GodisLove: It sounds like you really exhausted every option before doing the vinegar jar. Good for you that it worked out in your favor. I keep telling myself he isn't that bad compared to other boss's I've had but that's just my own self-doubt and low self-esteem telling me I don't deserve to be treated better.

My mom died yesterday, so any magical workings will be focused on her and healing for my sister and me for the time being.

I was wondering if a Vinegar Jar is necessary for my situation. I was involved with a girl, long distance, drama happened so we never got together but we did meet. She also had a boyfriend which she has split up from. Since then she was talking to me a lot, until recently. She seems to be getting involved with someone else (long distance also), and said things between us always get too crazy. I've had a love spell done almost a month ago, a honey jar for almost 4, and another one for about 2 weeks. Also a freezer spell done for 2 weeks. She ignores me, and when she doesn't she talks about him. She's made sexual jokes regarding him to me also today, despite knowing how I feel. I was wondering if a vinegar is in order or if I should wait it out a little longer? She said they're not officially together but are talking seriously.

I was advised by a rootworker on a vinegar jar I could make myself, I have some of the things they've listed. However, I do not have any oil for these types of spells? They said I don't necessarily need them, but would it be advisable to wait until I get some?

I don't put oils inside the jar.

I use the oils to anoint my candles that go on the jar.

I do use oil on the petition papers also.

I would suggest a cleansing after you work the jar. You can use Lucky Mojo 13 Day herb bath.

I wouldn't write her name in red, but black. Red is usually associated with Love. Otherwise your petition ideas are correct.

I would personally use red in a petition paper if I were doing a moving candle spell and the person I wanted would be in red.

But, I personally don't like the red In a break up jar. That's because you're not introducing yourself into this spell (and you are in the other).

I would just use black to break them up.

As far as your rootworker giving you advice, it's very difficult for us to know who said what. Each rootworker practices differently. So, take the advice of the rootworker who is helping you.

I was told as long as I believe, then it's fine. I've scheduled to have an egg cleansing, I feel like trash anyway so it may help. I've had one previously on myself and the girl I like.

One more question: Is it necessary to burn the candle? I was only able to do it for an hour yesterday. Other than that I've been shaking it while saying my petition, then storing it under my bed.

Hi rookieguy13,

You can burn the candle in portions.
Ive done it and found it to be highly effective.

I also agree on the cleansings.
Hyssop is great for cleansing. And the uncrossing products as well.

If you are doing the egg cleansing, I've found it to be more effective to throw in a crossroads rather
than against a tree. But that's personal prefrence and we pretty much have our own way for doing things.

I think my jar needs changing, or something to go well with it.

She is being a complete bitch now, I asked her nicely not to send photos/talk about the new guy... So she constantly starts sending me photos and saying things like "He's so beautiful!" Obviously trying to piss me off by acting innocent.

By the time my candle burned down (black candle on a vinegar jar) it lit the wicks that were there from prior candles. so there are 3 flames going.I couldnt find anything to say if this is good bad or nothing.

it was definatly a clean burn the flames combined to one and it burned all the wax that was left there prior to this candle. so im gonna take it as a good sign.

Hey All,

I've been reading various subjects on this forum and decided to try a vinegar jar and a honey jar spell.

The vinegar jar is for my ex and his current gf and the honey jar is to make him more sweet on me. I do plan on buying products from lucky mojo and redoing both jars to make them more powerful. Until I can get the funds I figured working these things on my own will give me a head start.

The vinegar jar is for my ex and his current gf because we all recently had a disagreement about him being involved in his child's life.That jar has 5 razor blades, a petition with their names and crushed red peppers and chili powder. It seems like since he is with her its whatever she says goes and like he can't think for himself. The honey jar is to make him more sweet to me and his daughter. That jar has cinnamon, sugar, my hair, the petition with my name, his and my lil girl, my lil girl hair and piece of a letter that says 'I love you sweetie" that he wrote to me when we were together.

Me and him use to be the best of friends and could always find a way to work things out even if we were mad at each other. But now he has changed. I figured the vinegar jar to break them up and the honey jar to make think kindly of me again.

The situation is much deeper than this and I know I am going to have to get a reading to evaluate the situation and get more work done. I just didn't want to go in so much details on my first post and seem extra chatty.

I like your idea. I personally have not made the honey jar but did the vinegar jar last night. I added white pepper, cayanne, black peppers, leomon juice vinegar, name papers, pickle juice, separation oil, 9 nails and nine pins. Wrapped it up and hid. Do you think that this will work to break them up?

I did a viniger jar spell on my on off lover. To sour all his friendships and relationships. Because 1 the friends are just using him 2 he will be nobody without friends 3 he rubs it in that I've made no friends got no family as I just moved to a new country. So my question is on my partition I put a few names of his friends then I stated plus anybody he has a friendship with. I put his pubic hair in the jar too. Now I've noticed that he is not so affectionate and would rather sleep on his own the last two times I've seen him when he came too my house. Now we've fallen out big time just 1 week after doing the viniger jar. I'm not sure of his friendship though. Do you think the viniger could of dampened his libido his affection and split our friendship.

No, I don't think a pubic hair would do that. And this was not the intention of your spell.

I don't think the vinegar jar had anything to do with his behaviors.

You might want to get a reading on this to see what type of spells you'll be needing.

Thanks for that response. My intention was not for him to become less affectionate towards me. Although I did it with rusty nails and with nails which are proberly rusting right now,which is also said to drive somone away. I did do two binding spells. On the said person not long before. Which I may discuss in another forum.

Since doing the vinegar jar I think I've been seeing signs that it may be working. I've had dreams of him talking to me and we actually holding a good conversation. Plus I've had a voice wake me up from my sleep saying 'him and that girl fighting again'. It was a little weird considering It was just me and my baby in the room. While at my job I heard the girl last name, even though the co-worker was talking about a shipping company and not her. Just the other day I say his mom in a store and we got on the convo of me and him not getting along anymore. She told me to be patient because she know some things. I think these are all good signs that my honey and vinegar jar are working? I do have a question, do I keep the vinegar or go break it in the cross roads to get things to really work?
