This is a concern of mine as well, not having any personal effects. I don't have hair from the person I'm doing the honey jar on either. I was told it's not necessary it will still work but not as strong and it can be added later. I do have a picture I would like to put into my jar once I get it. My question is, if I get a hair later and want to add it to the jar do I have to do a new name paper or can I just put the hair in? Do I have to put the hair on the name paper and fold it? Also should I put my own hair in even though I don't have his right now or should I wait and if I get his then add mine? Thanks!

You can do the jar without it but the more personal the connection the better. Some workers have had great success using two photos.

Miss Aida,

I was reading up on the 'follow me boy' spell kit and it said its for controlling and dominating. I might be misinterpreting but will it turn my sweet guy Into a puppet on a string? I've always been the controlling one in my relationships but he is refreshing and I like him because he is confident and very reasonable but he isn't like the other guys and agrees with everything I say just to please me. He stands up and challenges me when me when necessary so will he still keep his own or will it change him into a puppy?

I'm very excited to get my honey jar kit in the mail but I have yet another question if someone doesn't mind helping me answer it. I don't have any of his personal effects such as hair or nail clippings. I was planning on using two pics of him and the name paper. Then today I had the thought, would it be a bad idea to use some of my own bodily fluids in the jar as well? If I put them on the name paper or his pictures would that help or hurt? I thought if I put some of my own fluids on his picture and then folded it with the name paper it might stimulate the passion. Is that correct? I have good intentions with this and am just worried about messing it up. I also would like to add some cinnamon. Anyone have any advice or feedback for me I would greatly appreciate it. I don't know of anyone else to ask other than the people here on the forum. Thank you!

Being you have nothing from him, I would take a photo of him and write his info on the back ( name and bday) then write your petition on the back of his photo ( that would serve as the petition paper) you can add fluids but its a stronger link to you then him so it will likely effect you more then him. I would hold off on that and tell you how to use them in a second. I would take a photo of you and put them face to face and smear honey between them put them together praying over it. add it to the honey jar as described in the kit. You can add cinnamon to spice things up, or ginger. Now take pink or red candles carved then dress them with your sexual fluids let dry then dress with oil.

Thanks so much for answering it was very helpful. I don't have his birthday unfortunately. I know it won't work as well since I don't have that or his personal effects. My main focus is to stimulate him to contact me again. I thought if the jar worked and we communicated again I could get the birthday and the hopefully some personal effects to add to the jar. I only know his birth month and year, but not the exact date. If I'm going to use the photo as the petition paper would I still write his name three times and mine as well? I do have two photos of him to use. I've been trying to read everything I can on how to get this to work effectively with what I have.

use the best clearest photo you have, write the petition , either way works in this case. Then do the job. Is there a reason you are not talking? is their something in the way? If so you may also need to do work on that as well to get through it. IE block buster, van van, etc.

I honestly don't know why we have stopped talking. We were textin one day and then the next he just stopped answering me. There was no fight or anything between us. I've been to my most trusted readers who feel he has stressed in his life which I was aware of that could be influencing him as well as the holidays. They all feel he will come back around but the timing isn't clear. They also feel his interest is still there but just at a standstill. My intention with the jar was to hopefully reignite him to want to talk to me again. I'm a little worried over not having the personal effects of him. I've read many web pages where people feel it's a must have in order for the jar to work. But I'm hoping my faith and positivity will help it. Even if it's slow. I have 2 clear pics so that's not an issue at all. I'm just awaiting the kit I ordered and I'm ready to go. I also believe in the power of angels and prayers and have many angel statues that I was thinking of puttin around the jar as well. Just to project a more positive intent.

So I got my LM supplies last week

. I just finished working my honey jar reconciliation (so i think) I have searched every where for what I just saw and still see. The wax is gone but the flame is not. I took a photo (several) of it. Is this a good sign? It's just bouncing and has been going with no wax for about thirty minutes.

Thanks Aura,

All I see is that it is bad. The flame went out moments after I posted. I was working it with a reconciliation bottle that was little before the honey jar. The bottle burned pretty clean leaving a little wax dripping into the bottle. And the honey jar did not look to die down until the bottle had finished. I assume since the "candle won't go out" does not cover a stubborn wick, that is pulling as much wax as it can,that I should interpret it as good. I did not get a bad feeling from it and there is hardly any wax left, just a small shape I cannot really make out. I will continue to work it until he calls and we are in a good place then I will work come to me.

Thanks very much for the info. I will read up on it for sure. I've been gathering things to put in my jar. Another poster suggests magnets and I have the proper color pens as well. I even practiced writing the petition today so as not to life the pen from the paper. If my petition doesn't go all the way around I'm to continue writing it again is that correct? Until it touches the other side. I'm still not sure how the names are supposed to look. I really need a visual since I'm more a visual learner. I'm hoping the instruction book will give a visual.

I really don't want to doubt my work. I did not see anything specific to my case. I have been working with Miss Phoenix with specific instructions not to doubt. Not being sure what I am reading on that page is causing some serious doubt and frustrations. This is my first time doing any work. Once I am in a better financial position I will purchase several books. I sincerely thank you for your advice. With my history with this man and all I have going on now... Cats book hoodoo magic gives a visual. the names cross like an X then the petition goes in a circle, practice a few times till you get it right but short statements to the point work best. so if your petition is a long winded statement it wont work but if it can be reduced to a few words it will. Like love working can be come to me love me, or a rec work can be return to me be with me love me, etc

I am a novice but have read and reread the candle divination page and have recently received my copy of hoodoo candle magic. I can not offer the very knowledgeable advice that Miss Aida and aura gave, but I hope this little suggestion helps. I know how frustrating worry making these things can be.

Did you read further down on the page that aura linked? A candle burning for a long time is not a bad sign, when you are doing positive work, from what I have read. I have had this happen several times in the last month with a honey jar I have been working for a few months, and have taken it as a positive sign because if the info on that page and in the book. Scroll down until you see the red and black reversing candle image next to the text. The heading there says "the candle goes outbefore completely burning" but the info is on a slow burn, like you described. Then read about the very slow burn. It may lay your doubts to rest a bit.

I always like things to look pleasing to me so if it being off centered is bugging you than I would say work on making it not look off balance to you. Try getting it so his name appears in the center of yours, so you will need to start writing your name a ways before the start of your targets. Hope this helps!

Hello, I am burning a red candle on a honey jar and I noticed on the first burn that the wax seemed to form a penis mid way down the candle. I know tears are not a good sign but this actually looked like penis and then the wax seemed to stack on top of the original formation to form what looked like me penises that were becoming erect. Can someone tell me what I should take from this? Thank you.

If you want a reading on the how the candle burned you will want to pop over to AIRR (www.readersandrootworkers.org) and hire someone to take a look at it as we can not do readings on the forums. If you are seeing penises instead of tears though go with what you are seeing. I find it best to not second guess those first impressions. What it means kind of depends on the purpose of the jar.

This was done using lucky mojo oils and compelling powder. I have never seen a candle behave the way it has until I used the compelling products.
Basically I'm looking to see if this is a common occurrence with compelling work. I'm trying to get someone who promised to work on things for a relationship, do good on his promise. He hasn't done anything but fight it while the woman has been trying her best.
I didn't have a figural candle so I carved their names on both sides of the candle. During the burning a lot of tears and wax ran down on his side of the candle and nothing on her side. I thought for a moment I even saw a man with his arms behind his back in the air like he was hung and below him a woman kneeling. As the wax melted through the middle of him, it dripped onto her head and down her back. I know people here don't do readings, so I will be doing a reading to see what that was about.
What has been left behind is these giant blobs of wax, like balls at the base of the cup the candle holder is on. Also the candle burned up fast and the whole top of it was on fire for most of the burn. Intense.
Has anyone had compelling work behave this way using lucky mojo products?
The hanged man was a little disconcerting but seeing her beneath him almost made me think of Mary crying over Jesus. Maybe he wasn't hung at all but just standing awkwardly with his hands behind his back.
I've never seen so much action with any other of their products.
Maybe Saint Martha is helping on things and making him uncomfortable

Would love feedback about people's experience with compelling work, and any suggestions if a different type of work would be appropriate in this situation.

I started a honey jar a couple of months ago and everything was going great until like a couple weeks ago. My ex who I was still friends with, found out about him and got mad and told him we had been messing around. Now the guy I had the honey jar for doesn't trust me and doesn't want to be with me anymore and won't talk to me. He still has a girlfriend who he was supposed to break up with but now they aren't. Should I start a brand new jar or continue working the one that I have?

Hey there, how's everyone going?

I have a quick question. I've been talking to my mother, Saint Martha and burning a candle on her honor on Tuesdays, while praying for my target to come to me (I use a specific Saint Martha prayer). I've lit two candles on two consecutive tuesdays, and on both occasions the flame flickered A LOT. No chance of draft.
I've read that when the candle flickers it's because there's a spirit present, and I just know it is my Mother.
However, the flame also goes down quite a bit from time to time. It alternates between high and flickering a lot to low. But then it starts flickering again and it grows taller. What could this mean? I think it might mean that Mother is with me and working on target, but that he is resisting?

7 day candles dont really last 7 days so its expected to end early but that is a little too early. It sounds like you will have quick results but possibly not long lasting. More work will need to be done. Also how the candle burned,IE clear, no wax some wax, signs all matter as well in understanding a burn.

Very clear glass and about 1/2 an inch of wax remained. I have a second Come to Me candle going now just to be on the safe side.

I personally would continue to work the same jar. Particularly if it was working well before. You might look into a Reconciliation spell kit (http://www.luckymojo.com/reconciliation.html) to help heal the rift that has been created by your ex.

It can mean anything sweetheart. You may want to get an Airr reading. Try the spell again until there's no soot. If you keep getting soot have MISC light a continuous set of candles for you. It will definitely help to back your work up.

HI LM. I am new here and I have read some forum posts and I was hoping someone will help me. My boyfriend of 5 years and I recently broke up. We were on the path of reconciliation when a new woman came into his life. I didn't think anything about it, until I noticed changes in him. He became hateful and the opposite of what he was before. I know men change sometimes, but when we were not in the same vicinity, everything was okay. I decided to do an uncrossing candle and we began to get closer. Once the candle burned out he changed again. I decided to get a reading and I was told that she had him bound and was doing something so that he would hate me and my son.
I did a bath to cleanse me and to rid myself of her energy and I also cleaned our home (and added some of my urine to mark my territory ) to rid the home of her energy. She has not gone back there. I began to burn a love candle so that he would come to me and I also began to break them up. I bought 4 figural candles 1 red man, 1 red woman, 1 black woman, and one white man (I was told to represent her ex since he is still bound to her and is more likely to come back). I dressed them with the proper oils and set them up. I faced the red candles towards each other and added some Come to me powder in between to draw my ex to me. I placed his candle and The black woman (my rival) back to back with separation powder inbetween. I placed the white male to face her. I also bound my ex and I together with a red string dressed in the proper oils, the white figure and my rival with a red string, and my ex's figure and my rival with black string undressed. I literally broke the bounds she had on him to signify him being freed from her binds. I also have a white candle dressed in healing oil to heal the pain that I have caused him. Yesterday was the first day I lit my figure candles and this was the result:
My candle burned evenly until the forehead. My ex burned the same way with some dripping down his back but turning away once it hit the bottom. Her candle burned until her nose and dripped all the way down the back to my ex's candle. The white figure burned like the two red with no drip-page. This was only after 15 minutes. I burn them 15 minutes daily.
Today was a big difference. My candle burned down to my chin, some drip-page towards my ex but still even. My ex on the other hand burned to his neck and started dripping down the side and towards me. My rivals candle burned down to her groin, melted all over the place and toward my ex. Some of her wax melted with my ex's wax in the front. The white male did not burn very much at all.
Here is what I think:
I want my ex and I am being very level headed about it and am not trying to force him to me. My ex is started to come to me but is still being influenced by her slightly hence why it burns down the side. She is trying to hold onto him because she knows she is losing him. She is trying to stop him from being with me and he is fighting her. The white male is being reluctant because of the pain she caused him in the past.
She is a woman that tries to get pregnant and uses men for what they have. She is a succubus.
Also I should mention the flame on the healing candle is very high and straight and unwavering. The love candle is burning quickly and the flame dances as though someone is trying to burn it out.
Should I burn another candle to keep her away from my ex so that we can heal and rekindle our love? Or should I let her burn down and stay alone while we become closer and become one? I am open to any thoughts opinions and ideas.

Willowsunstar, the Roman numeral 9 (appearing as IX) could indeed be interpreted as a timing -- 9 days, 9 weeks, 9 months, 9 years -- but it could also stand for a house number, locker number, sports uniform number, or Title IX, the US government program that granted female school athletes equal funding with male school athletes. It might not be a number at all. It may signify two people: a male -- I -- and a female -- X -- and their relationship.

The trouble is, as Godislove said, there is soot, and soot usually refers to trouble or opposition to your petition. The soot, in this instance, is as important as the IX mark.

To provide a true spiritual candle reading, we would need to know what the candle was for, how you burned it (continuous run or repeated short burns), and other information -- but PLEASE DO NOT supply that information here, because we do not do candle readings here on the Forum.

I purchased a Follow Me Boy glass encased candle. When I received it, I noticed the wick was not in the middle of the candle, it was all the way toward one side. I decided to do my spell anyway. Its been 7 days and tonight the glass popped open on the side where the wick is and the wax melted out of the glass enclosure.

What, if anything, does this mean?? Does it mean Nothing because it was going to break no matter what from the heat of the flame because the wick was against the glass?? OR Does that even matter?? Should I have sent the candle back and gotten one with the wick in the middle of the candle?

Im confused. Thanks for any response!

Hello, I know that you do not give candle divination on the forum, but I was hoping that someone could confirm if this is a good sign. I have burned two red candles on a honey jar and both times a penis formed on the candle and when the flame reached the point at which it formed the penis shape fell and remained after the candle burned. The rest of the candle burned cleanly and no other wax remained. I have read that this means that their is sexual desire present. I do not have the money to pay for candle divination presently as I purchased candle petitions with what money I had available for right now. I just want to know that I am on the right track. Thank you!

I took a Healing bath today and burned some helper lights which I dressed using what I just had on hand. A white one for tranquility and emotional healing, and a yellow one for success. I have cat's book, so I ended up using marjoram, cocoa powder, allspice and rosemary stuck on with Black Cat oil. I was going for tranquility/mental health and I'm trying to change my luck for the better. Anyway the white candle was running/tearing like crazy, turning into just a blob of wax. The yellow one held its shape more, but still dripped a lot and in the end they both left puddles. I know that we can't get divinations here, but I was hoping for some further (pro bono) insight. It's definitely been a tearful day. Were these helpers a flop? Should I do them again?

In the future, return the candle. Lucky Mojo rarely sends wicks out like that. It must have been an oversight. My apologies.

It was probably from the wick.

Hi,
I have a question that I hope someone can help me with. Over a year ago, I started a love honey jar and used Come to Me, Follow Me Boy, Return to Me, Fast Luck, and Love Me oils on the candle. I stopped using the honey jar several months ago because I felt like it wasn't working. Now, the guy I'm trying to get back is talking to me again and wants to start out as friends but I want something more. Should I make a new honey jar or use the old one that I put away? I also got a couple of pieces of hair which wasn't in the old jar. And finally, is it a bad idea to use all the different oils at once on a candle? Thanks for all your advice!

Thanks Miss Aida! Do you mean that I need to burn candles on the old honey jar as well as the new one? I was thinking of just starting a new jar and putting away the old one. Do you think the love honey jar would work best in making him go beyond just being friends and loving me? Also, would you know the difference between the red and pink candles? They both seem to be used for the same thing. Thanks again!

Red is for passion and pink is for romance.

I was suggesting that you light candles on both jars.

And I have no idea what spirit will make the outcome of the jar. That is up to spirit.

Miss Aida's totally correct, and I wanted to point out to you as someone who's worked a few honey jars that candle color totally made a noticeable impact on the guy I was working on at the time. Pink candles made him more "sweet": he was friendlier, wanted to spend time with me, etc. It also worked wonders in repairing the damage that would happen if we got into little arguments and what not. Red candles however I would use whenever I wanted to have sex with him; they'd pretty much punch him into "lust mode"!

Personally I've only made 2 different honey jars for the same target once (one was for general attraction, then I made one for reconciliation when we got into a REEEAALLY bad situation). I will say though that when I finally got better personal concerns of his (semen, hair), I used those to make a jar that focused on romantic AND sexual attraction. Try making a jar with Balm of Gilead (to keep the two of you close whether friends or lovers), Damiana for sexual allure, and Juniper to make him pine for you.
