Thanks Miss Aida. I'll use seven candles for the heart and 9 for the Protection spell.
Thank you to St. Dymphna!

Regarding the idea that the use of odd numbers forms some sort of defining tradition in hoodoo: This is not true.

The number 4 is used in hoodoo among many practitioners, especially those who are of Native American descent.

See HOODOO LUCK-BALLS (JACK-BALLS) by Mary Alicia Owen, 1893
http://www.southern-spirits.com/owen-ho ... balls.html

The use of 4 candles around a central object is often used to define a Christian cross or a crossroads on an altar. See the photo of 4 candles around the spirit trap by ConjureMan Ali above, and the photo of the circle divided into a cross by Deacon Millett above -- and also see this picture from the AIRR web site:
http://readersandrootworkers.org/wiki/Ancestors:

Image

In this photo, which features the work of Prof. Charles Porterfield, we see that he had laid out graveyard dirt from the graves of four different ancestors, all of whom were buried in one family graveyard. The dirt was then scribed in the form of a crossroads. The four candles defined the territories or graves of each of the four ancestors, and each area contained individual offerings: a cup of tea, a bowl of chocolate squares, a mini-bottle of whiskey, and coins. A fifth candle -- not part of the 4-candle ancestor array -- marked the way forward or the outcome of the work.

Thanks to the Association of Independent Readers and Rootworkers for permission to use this picture for educational purposes. If you wish to engage the services of a professional rootworker, you should look up these and other members of AIRR at their own group web site:

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to figure out a way to get some Love Me sachet to my wife after I just finsihed my "Love Me" spell on her. I considered placing it on our 5 year old son like baby powder so that when she hugs and kisses him she will get it on her.

My question: Is it safe for my son?

Thanks,

Hello Imnewatthis, how about sprinkling the powder on yourself and giving her a hug and kiss, or maybe sprinkling some of the powder in between the bed sheets, the four corners of any room, or any place where she walks on a regular basis, maybe sprinkling a bit of the powder in her drawers where she leaves her whites? You also don't need a lot, just a little bit of the powder shall do the work for you! I hope this is helpful. :)

As for your son, that's a great question, I don't know the answer, I'm curious to find out myself from others. :)

Hi Sonia,

Thank you for the reply. It's not that easy, my wife is staying elsewhere and does not want to have any contact with me right now and much less will accept a hug or kiss. She is keeping her car in the garage where she's staying, so it is very rare to have the opportunity to sachet her car. I did make a doll baby for her and I do sachet that.

When I take my son to see her, he runs into her arms and she hugs him tightly and kisses him on the cheeks several times. I know that she would get it on her and perhaps even on her lips and inside her mouth. I don't think it will harm her to get it into her mouth, but before I put some on my 5 year old son, I want to make certain he will be safe. My time is running out for this week, I will be taking him to her tonight.

Thanks,

I have to take some paperwork in to the county office and I really need to make sure they accept my case. Is there any thing I can use to sprinkle over my documents to ensure a positive outcome?

Thank you Blessings

I have an ex i been working on for some time. I have done a sugar jar for a while to bring him back to make him contact me. Well he has made contact and we have spent time with each other which we both highly enjoyed doing with each other and he brought up first for us to do it do it aging. I want to be able to lay a trick on a gift i want to give him and also on his front porch. I would actually like some help with Sachet power ideas to make him want me only and start a relationship with me once aging. I want him to love me and to be faithful to only me. I would love to buy the products form here but unfortunately i don't know when i will see him due to his crazy work schedule and mine that i could see him randomly today or tomorrow or even a couple of days from now. If you could please give me some great ideas i would greatly appropriate it.

Hello,

I was out of my regular facial loose powder today. So, I decided to reach for my LM attraction powder instead. Not only did it work great magically, it was also a fantastic face powder.

I am not sure whether someone has used sachet powder as a substitute for face powder before. If yes, can you let me know whether you had any allergies or breakouts? Because I'm really tempted to forgo my regular powder and continue using a LM powder instead!! :D

Hello Funnypupster,

Many people will take whatever regular commercial powder they use and mix it with their lucky mojo hoodoo powder. If you did not have any adverse skin reactions today I would imagine you are safe to use it.

Peace~

Apollo Dark

I think mine have changed scent after I opened them - I'm guessing due to oxidation and exposure to the natural human oils on the surface of my fingers. Anyone have tips for preserving the scents?

Oxidation, light, heat, moisture, and time will cause any organic substance to degrade. Careful storage in a dark, cool, dry, sealed environment will extend the useful life of such materials, but not indefinitely.

I understand, Miss Cat. Thank you for your answer.

How might change in smell brought on by time affect the powder's potency, or the spells in which it's used? And what would you say is the average shelf life of the powders?

Hi all,

Not trying to put any doubt on my work I just have a question.
I was finding it difficult to get powder on or near my target.
So I lied and told him it was for 'good luck' (it was 'come to me').
And rubbed it all over him after a shower.
He was skeptical but he let me do it anyway.
I didn't say a petition out loud (as that would give the intent away), but I was thinking one
'Come to me and fall in love again' and I was thinking it with some very strong intent.
Is that sufficient enough?
Any one had any success with this?

I have had success with spells that haven't been said out loud.

I don't see a problem with it. Quote often when I have had to sprinkle powders or water out and about I don't want people to hear me. I always just put my intent into it.

You're good to go.
Next time, state your intention into the powder before applying it.

in reference to Follow Me Girl sachet powder
http://www.luckymojo.com/powder-follow-me-girl.html

The woman is not yet in a relationship with me.
I have read the Laying down tricks page and want to know if the sachet powder can be applied to the woman's chair and be sufficient

Hello, goeticpractitioner ,
That's a wonderful way of laying a trick!
But is it sufficient?
I don't know. You'll have to play it by ear and see what the results bring you with this trick.
Wishing you the very best with this

A question: do you need absolutely pronounce the target's name and the purpose of the trick, or while laying the powder, you can just think about it, i.e. state it purposefully?

I always use intention, before going out I will often state my intention out loud whether I whisper or yelling. When i am deploying tricks in public I always just think with intent.

Ok, I've read through all nine pages and couldn't find the answer. Is it ok to alternate between powders? Say for instance, reconciliation, CTM and LM then the following week FMB, Fire of Love and Stay with Me. Or should I stick with one combination for a while then move to the next?

mlove: That is up to you. If the powders are all in the same family then you can feel free to use them in any combination to find which ones work for you. You don't have to go overboard and mix all 6 together in a huge lump for a "more powerful spell" but see what is most appropriate for your work. Seeing the different kinds of powders you list in your example I would say you should work on the aspect of your situation that need the most attention given to it. For example; Reconciliation/Come To Me/Follow Me Boy work before starting Stay With Me/Fire Of Love work. Good luck!

Hello UltanaOne.

If you are trying to fix your boyfriends bodywash/shampoo with lucky mojo products a few drops of oil http://www.luckymojo.com/mojocatoils.html or a bit of dissolved bath crystals http://www.luckymojo.com/mojocatbaths.html would work much better than a sachet powder. Sachet powder is better deployed where you know he will step, if he uses body powder you can even add a to that as well.

best of luck

I dusted all of my family photo Christmas cards w/ Bewitching & Look Me Over sachets this year. They seemed to have been well received. I still need to get frames for the recent pics we took, but I think I will be dusting those as well.

I communicate with my love via the internet. I recently received Look Me Over Sachet Powder. I used it to lightly dust my laptop since it's primarily what I use to communicate with him.

He has been paying a lot of attention to me, which is great. But I have been attracting a bunch of nutjobs as well. One accused me of stalking her online when she was acting like a baby and I was nice to her.

Is there something I can temper the LMO powder with to keep the crazies away - but keep my baby's GOOD attention?

UnBound,

I would be more intentional with your petition when using the powder and putting it on the computer. Also write a petition which is very specific then burn it in a candle dressed in the oil and mix it with the powder before employing it. Try to avoid talking to others when using the computer thats dressed to effect him.

UnBound,

I have only a few things to say here:

First of all, the idea of dusting a computer with powder makes me nervous. Dust in the works, you know.

Secondly, To keep off the crazies, you might start by dressing your computer with Uncrossing Oil or Florida Water or a solution of Chinese Wash. You could even mix it with a little bay leaf tea to make yourself invisible to them.

Finally, if you don't happen to have any Look Me Over oil in the house, you can dress the candle with whatever love oil you do have, or Blessing Oil, and also sprinkle the top of it with look me over powder. Also, the ashes of the petition, as J82 suggested.

Just note, sine this is the Sachet Powders thread, not the oils thread: It is a very nice old way to work to dust your candles after your dress them with oil. Bu Miss Michaele is correct -- don't dust your computer.

What would be a great powder to protect my man from other peoples evil work, that will not counter act with my spiritual work?

For example: I did a vinegar container spell and considering a lemon sour spell, and possibly something else to break up him and a phoney female friend I feel wants him for more. I've posted something on the Vinegar Jar Posting for help.

I am also gong to purchase stay with me oils and powders and some type of protection for my self, and some do as I say powders as well.
Thanks for your help

Hello GiftedEyes,

An of the powders geared toward protection such a Protection Powder or Fiery Wall of Protection Powder (http://www.luckymojo.com/fierywallofprotection.html). Then just word your prayer or petition when you deploy the powders for what you are wanting protection from.

I just wiped my comp down the Florida Water (I really love the way it smells - so fresh!). I have had the crazies come out of the woodwork like I was on The Walking Dead.

I did everything that was suggested, including the candle and the petition. When I added the petition to the candle, the candle burned up REALLY fast and melted like crazy (it's not one of those kind of candles, they normally just burn themselves up, they don't melt). Does this mean anything? I am sorry to ask this, here, but it would be hard to start a whole new thread about this. Is there somewhere I can read about a petition causing a candle to burn and melt?

Florida Water is a wonderful cleanser, but you need to follow up with protective work; as Jesus said (about evil spirits and exorcisms),
When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first.

-- Mathew 12: 43-45
That may be the state you're in now, but to a lesser degree. Treat your computer with Florida water again, and then Fiery Wall of Protection. Place a bay leaf under your keyboard, with something like "NO CREEPS!" written on it.
UnBound wrote:I did everything that was suggested, including the candle and the petition.
When I mentioned using the *ashes* of your petition with sachet powders (on a candle or elsewhere), I wasn't talking about putting the paper in the candle. If you want to use the ashes, burn the petition separately from the candle, and mix the ashes with sachet powders.

When people talk about "loading" a candle with a petition, they mean hiding it in the hollow underside of a candlestick. This is for working with tapers and other freestanding candles.

Everything you wanted to know about petition papers but didn't think to ask:

Crap. I was SO proud of myself. :x But thank you for the information. :(

Will do. It's a laptop, though. Can I tape it on the underside? And I already put Special Oil #20 on it for him to be drawn to me (we're online right now). So I should do the Florida Water and then FWP. Can I do half FWP and half Special Oil #20?

I totally misunderstood because I Miss Cat sad not to put powder on my comp anymore. I have a cold I'm fighting and trying to muddle through to protect him and us right now (I started a thread about someone attempting to get his personal effects in HotFooting). I didn't want to wait until I am completely well and then have to do even more work because I didn't stop something. Maybe I should since I did this wrong?

Thank you for all your help.

P.S. The cleaning of my comp seems to have stopped the crazies.

Hello, UnBound ,

I would start all over again.

And I wouldn't mix the oil with the Florida water. The oil would follow the Florida Water.

Wishing you the very best

Take care

I recently mixed my dirt and my exes dirt plus reconcillation powder and return to me powder and sprinkled it all around my exes house and back to my house!!!! I pray for his return and love again!

I placed a 10 dollar bill on his door steps covered with both powders as well!!!

I also spit into it before I sprinkled it....calling his name....

My question is it is more effective if he steps ON the powder or OVER it??? I even put some under his door mat so he can't see it but he will step over it bc it's right in front of his front door!!!!

Also I know he will def pick up the 10 dollar bill and touch his door knob which are both covered in powder.....I hope that will help my spell too!!!!

when will I see movement? I am 100% confident that he will touch the powder and step on or over it bc it's all around his house!

PreciousCC, it sounds like you've done careful, thorough work.
My question is it is more effective if he steps ON the powder or OVER it???
It's been known to work both ways. And it goes back before the invention of sachet powders, I believe -- it's about as dangerous (magically) to step OVER a snakeskin as ON it, for instance.
when will I see movement?
The widely quoted "Signs in three days, movement in three weeks, completion in three months" guesstimate is just that -- a rough guide that was taught to our Miss Cat by ONE candle shop owner in Oakland CA decades ago. It is sensible and easy to remember, and that's why everybody latched on to it. But it may happen ZAP right away if he is ripe and your work is in harmony with his own natural feelings. It may take longer if he's very stubborn (or ashamed! I once had a client whose lover stayed away for more than three months because he was ashamed of his bad habits). It may not work at all if he feels justified in the breakup or if the powers of good are trying to spare you further heartbreak.

Good luck,

If your laptop stays on your desk and you don't take it anywhere, that would work fine. Otherwise, it would be visible to nosyparkers when you carry the machine around, and liable to fall off when the tape fails.

You could make some bay leaf tea, dip your finger in it, and write "NO CREEPS" on the machine itself. Repeat as needed. Bay Leaf is great for invisibility.
And I already put Special Oil #20 on it for him to be drawn to me (we're online right now). So I should do the Florida Water and then FWP. Can I do half FWP and half Special Oil #20?[
Florida Water first, then FWP, then Special Oil # 20.
I totally misunderstood because I Miss Cat sad not to put powder on my comp anymore.
Any Lucky Mojo sachet powders you might want to use are also available as oils, incense and bath crystals.

Well, it depends. Was your error due to ignorance (curable by diligence) or the cold (curable by time)? I would say keep working whenever you're feeling strong and clear-headed.

Good luck,

I have access to my ex's apartment, so I can literally dress/anoint everything and anything from food, to underwear and socks, bed sheets and pillows, four corners of the room and under his bed, his car, doorknobs, couch cushions, you name it.

I am doing break up work along with reconciliation. With that in mind, I want to lay down some "evil" powders for his current girlfriend to come into contact with like maybe on her pillow that she uses when she sleeps there...but I also want to use good stuff like Dixie Love, Love Me and FMB to bring him back to me. Should I just stick with putting break up, inflammatory oils and separation powders and HotFoot on her car handle while laying foot-tracks by her apartment, and leave the good stuff in his apartment to bring him back and attract him to me? My gut says keep his place clean and "good" for the reconciliation...while the bad stuff out and by her neighborhood.

What do you say?

Hi! I hope this is the right category in the forum to post this question...it is about laying tricks.

If I am laying tricks all over my ex's apartment (i.e. powder in shoes, underwear, socks, four corners of room, tooth brush, food, oil on door knobs, in shampoo, on sheets, couch cushions, etc.)...and I need to recite Psalm 23 or some other prayer...do I need to recite it after EVERY trick I put down? Cause I could literally be saying it 20-30 times easily. Or will once do per room? What do you suggest? Thanks!

Hello karma_13,

This is one of those things that varies from worker. Some people would say it once per room, other people would say it over every thing the did. I personally would say little prayers asking the powder to do what I want in my own words and then say the psalm over the whole room or space , whatever it might be. Pick what works best for you!

Peace~

Hi all! So I want to break up a couple...this horrible "wretch" for lack of better words and my lover...and then bring him back to me.

She has shampoos and body washes at his apartment that I have already tampered with...meaning I childishly added vegetable oil and windex to her hair products, along with salt and pepper and hot sauce, spit, dirty toilet water, etc. I know, childish, but wanted her hair to be greasy and look gross. You don't even want to know what I did to her tooth brush! :)

Anyway, I am ordering various oils and sachet packets to lay tricks and now plan to put that stuff into her beauty products. Should I throw the "old" previously tampered ones away and buy new ones you think?

Hello, karma_13,

You crack me up! You're my kind of person!!

Yes, throw them out.

You want just the LM products in there. I would be concerned if something in the other stuff (like Windex, etc) may deactivate the products.

Have fun!!
