Namaste!

I feel 2015 will be a great year for me to pursue the Correspondence Course. Numerologicaly (Vedic) it will be a Jupiter year and I am also planming to launch a Blacjack career after completeing my studies with the Blackjack Institute.

I have read through the page detailing the course and requirements, real name, copyrights etc and can agree to all intend although it should be said that I may make a legal name change to Joe Strone for several reasons, my name as a practicioner certainly being among them.

You will find my order history under the following email account:
kadlec_joseph@msn.com

Please let me know if I need to make further purchases to enter the course.

Thanks

btw I just had striking success getting a 'not guilty' verdict with a very easy little bottle spell. And I actually was guilty of running a red light on my bike - early on a Sunday morning- on a completely traffic-free avenue in Manhattan, where 97% of cyclists ignore red lights if its possible and are ignored by police.
Anyway, it was a spell using compounded asofoetida and vinegar which you speak to and carry in a small bottle into the courtroom. No doubt, there must be something similar here but if not I would be happy to provide the details as its very easy.

I would love to join the course. I come from a Caribbean background and I'm aware of out superstitions and I'm vaguely familiar with obeah and when I say vaguely familiar in using that term highly loosely so there will be no conflict with me entering into hoodoo. I plan on ordering the last set of supplies I need to be enable to enroll or call for an interview.

I have just a few questions.

1. What exactly is meant my killing the work.

2. The graveyard dirt part- I was a little apprehensive about enrolling cause I was a little scared to do it but my little cousin died about 6 months ago so I figured I could use her dirt. at first I didn't want to do that even cause she died at 11 and thought she was too young, but today I got the feeling as I was reading over some of the posts that it was a good idea after all. and it was something I felt completely comfortable with especially for the course. Will the age thing be a problem?

Hello, Godislove,

Where did you read this: "Killing the work"? Please give this phrase to me in a sentence.

And of course you can use you're cousin's dirt. By the way, I am so very sorry to read that your cousin passed at such a very young age.

The cemetery can be a lot of fun. Many of the deceased enjoy having visitors and are honoured. It can even become like a little picnic or a get together.

I am so happy that you're taking the course!!!

Happy New year

Actually what I read was killing work! So I'm assuming its a lesson in killing.

By the way your post made me laugh! I loved it!

Yeah! It was so sad. I initially didn't want to do it cause I thought she was too young but your permission makes me feel even more better. And she was my favorite cousin as well so maybe that's betters well.

Hello, Godislove,

There are no lessons on killing. None!!

Killing the work would mean that you messed up the spell, or you did something like throw it in the garbage, stuff like that.

Yu ought to come to the cemetery with me. You would LOVE it!!

Lol. Thank you. I was a bit apprehensive of that lesson as one could presume.

I can't wait to start that's if I'm permitted.

Come with you to the cemetery, I'm now getting used to spirit...but I think that would be an interesting field trip that I would come to love.

I need to ask if having black Facebook friends is enough to be enrolled? I do know them through real life, but I lost touch with them because all but one are high school friends. I lost contact with the other black Facebook friend I have because he moved away, and because I knew him through Taekwondo which I stopped going to because my life went down the toilet, and I lost contact with all my other TKD friends, unfortunately.

I also have half-black sort of-family members. My mom is engaged, and the man’s she’s marrying has two (blood) cousins who’re half-black, both toddlers. I see them often, since they’re close family to him. But I don’t know if that counts as family since they’re not blood and we’re not yet bound by marriage.

The reason I don’t have current, black IRL friends is because I don’t have money or a job, and I don’t have a car. I actually only get to get out of my house about once or twice a week. (My life sucks, and I am a loser.)

I don’t actually have the money for the course right now, but I’m going to be getting a job soon, and it’ll probably be in a city with a very high population of black people. By the time I have the money to enroll it’s likely that I’ll be current, IRL friends with a black person.

I’m not asking to be an exception. What I’m asking is if I don’t have current, IRL black friends by the time I am able to pay for the correspondence course, will my Facebook friends and family members meet the requirements for enrollment? If that's not enough, then I will wait until I have a more personal black friend without complaint.

Oh, yeah, I forgot. I'm not asking this because I just want the lessons. I have every intention on graduating this course, including turning in homework #2. I know you've no reason to trust me about me wanting to complete the course, but I promise I won't be one of the ones who don't give anything back.
Thank you to St. Dymphna!

I love Magic and mystical stuff. I recently discovered Hoodoo ,after I had stop from the airport and could not come the USA with my Voodoo medicine, and I moved from the south where it is more easier to get your hand to one' s culture products, so I started to look for an alternative. I found Hoodoo. I recently show interest about miss cat course, because when I do spell for my husband and family I have good results.so I feel like I am a spiritual priestess. LOL !!!!!!!!!
I have read the requirements but still have some questions that I am seeking some clarification. I just want to make sure if the course is right for me. I want to take the course first of all to get more deep information about African American magic or trick? why our African grand parents got transported in different part of the world but practice traditional magic differently?
I am curios to see what are the differences hoodoo magic and my culture magic trick. the history behind our difference?
the requirement purchases will not be a problem for me , I am I purchased most of them before for my personal use, and if I have to re order them again I will , because my family love them.
1- one of the requirement is to have some African American friend on facebook, what if I am not on facebook, and don't have any African American friend? but I am creole speaking, I am from the Caribbean , I migrated here in USA, used to have African American friends when I used to live in Miami, but since I moved to the northern U.S I don't have any what now.
2- most of the oil I ordered from LM are mix or root-workers bottles because I love big bottle and I use them often, so if my oil is mix still count as requirement?
3-what if I use half of one of my product this is required , do I have to make sure I resupplied before call for interview?
4-May I know what Miss cat teach in course? I don't mean specific details , I mead titles and subject..
Will I learn why African Americans practice the way they did?

Thanks

Hello, dan2007,

We are all bounded by secrecy and cannot tell you exactly what's in the course.

But here is the curriculum: www.luckymojo.com/curriculum.html

You re fine with the oils.

But, you will have to call the shop and discuss the other matter with Mother Katrina.

Wishing you the best

Okay, thank you Miss Aida. :)

Again, I understand that probably doesn't meet the requirement for Homework #2*, and I understand if that's not enough to meet enrollment either. I promise I will get a current black friend; it's only a matter of time. I mean, I was literally WTF'ing out loud and spluttering as I read about how non-black people simply refuse to do such a simple homework. It's bizarre and pathetic that someone would want to learn the magic of black Americans, which has given them hope and power, without being a friend to them. I'm not making up my feelings for my "image". It was as if I was entering bizarro world as I read their gibbering nonsense why they should be exempt from that requirement. It's even worse because it was originally just a person of another race, and yet the problems only really started when Miss Cat changed made just a simple change to the race in question being black American. WTFH?

Again, thank you for your prompt reply.
Thank you to St. Dymphna!

Greetings to everyone from 1208gypsy in North Carolina, USA. I'm excited to explore this fascinating study. So far, I've surfed around a bit in the discussions enough to see that many practical matters are resolved here. Yay that.

My elementary question is as follows: I have just purchased conjure oils and bath crystals (1 of each) for a) money drawing, and b) block busting. So that's four products in all (oil plus bath crystals for two conditions). Do these satisfy part of the purchase requirement that qualifies a seeker (in part) for eventual student status?

I thought maybe so. I figured money drawing is a basic attraction product, and block busting a basic riddance product. I see the required purchase list is kind of divided along those two important distinctions - attraction on one hand, removal on the other. However, I would benefit from guidance. Set me straight.

Greetings All!

Just wanted to get on here and introduce myself to other prospective students of Cat's Correspondence Course. I've been practicing magic since about 1999. It wasn't until I moved to West Virginia (originally a Jersey girl) that I discovered folk magic, Appalachian healing and traditions(a lot of it is Cherokee and pow wow), herbal remedies, etc.. Ever since then I've been wanting to learn all I can about these ways. So it's great that such a course exists. I know a couple of people who have taken this course and highly recommend it. So here I am, an eager student who is wanting to learn more. I have begun by ordering Cat's book and a few starter supplies and I will supply begin to build up what I need. I think it's a great idea that she is requiring to have materials already in place because that way you have your visuals and hands on experience which makes studying that much easier. I am one of those types who needs visuals to comprehand

Now, I also am familiar with her other requirement which is being aware and knowledgeable about African American culture( I'm white). Growing up in New Jersey where we had so many different types of cultures makes it easy for you know at least a little bit about different cultures. But my main exposure to the African American culture was that my baby sitter was African American. Her son and I were best friends and I was at their house every day for about 4 years.

I remember my mom telling me that Miss Judy (that's what I had to call her or I got in trouble) practiced what my mom called "that ju-ju stuff" but my mom was Ok with that and I was fascinated by it. I would sneak around the corner and watch her do her "ju-ju". She had a full curio cabinet of different herbs and candles and people would come to see her on a regular basis.

Whenever I would ask her questions about it she would just smile at me and say "All in time child"

I forgot about Miss Judy and her "ju-ju" until I moved here to West Virginia and discovered folk magic and learned that Miss Judy's "ju-ju" was actually called Hoodoo. I've read books and have worked with herbs in spells but I'm ready to expand my roots (no pun intended) and learn from who I here is a wonderful teacher!

So here I am! Hopefully a future student!

Trish

Hello gypsy1208!

To answer your question, yes and no. I believe money drawing bath crystals and block buster bath crystals fulfill Cat's requirement. She states that you need one for attracting money or love, (which money drawing bath crystals fulfills) and one for uncrossing (which I believe block buster would fulfill, since it can be compared to a more fiery/fast acting uncrossing product.) However, for the oils, she states she wants one of each for the following categories: love, money, protection, and negative work. Your choice of the money drawing oil fulfills the requirement for a "money" oil, but I don't believe the block buster oil fulfills any of these requirements. It isn't exactly a protection oil, again, its more similar to an uncrossing product. And it certainly isn't an oil for negative work.

I encourage you to take the required purchases list very literally since you are just starting out. If Cat requires you to get a product for protection, go with a "protection" or "fiery wall of protection" product. Have fun with it, but definitely do not overthink it, as it really is not that complicated.

Also, the point of these required purchases is for you to have hands on experience with a wide variety of different lines of product. Cat explicitly states that she does not want you to buy products all from the same line. It does you no good to buy multiple products from the same line, because you aren't getting the knowledge from other product lines that you should have by the time you try to sign up for the course. Try and branch out with your other purchases, and avoid getting products with the same name.

Hope this helps!

Thanks, brian_s -- i could not have said it better myself!

If you are interested in my course, then the next time you order any of the required materials, just add a note in the message area saying that you wish to be marked as a "prospective student." There is no obligation to become a student, but if you mention that, then any items you order from my shop will be check-marked as meeting the course requirements for materials.

Hello Athena1,

Glad you are working through the course! there is a lot of knowledge in there. Here is the link to the resource page for the course (http://www.luckymojo.com/mojocourse.html). On it it talks about the Yahoo group page. That is where I have always seen the grades posted for the assignments. Not much else is posted there right now and eventually that group will be moved over to these forums. For more specific information you may need to just call the shop. I hope this is helpful and if you get a chance pop over to the introductions part of the forum and tell us a little more about yourself!

Peace~

I am just starting to order supplies with LMCC and look forward to being able to learn from one of the most competent and well-versed women, Miss Cat. I've been working with HHRM for three years and reading the forums anonymously, listened to every archived show, but now have finally signed up and can't wait to begin this wonderful journey in spiritual heritage! Thank you Miss Cat for offering this course, and thank you to all of the suppressed souls over the years that have made this work what it is today.

Hello Everyone!
I am very excited to take miss cat’s course, was a little bit nervous speaking to the legend herself during my interview, and I’m super happy to have received the course book. It’s really quite a lovely book – very, very high quality and worth every penny. It’s a real keepsake.
I’ve begun my reading and I’m loving it. Looking forward to the learning and interacting with other students.
Thank you!

I seem to be having some trouble getting signed up for the Yahoo group. I signed up for a Yahoo account and applied for membership in the group the day I got my book: March 19th. I waited a little over a week to allow time for whatever behind the scenes processing might be necessary, and when I hadn’t heard anything about my application, I sent an email to nagasiva at forum@luckymojo.com a week ago - on March 29th. I haven’t heard anything back.
I’m assuming that you folks are super busy and I’m trying to be patient, but I also want to make sure that I didn’t do anything wrong when I initially tried to sign up. I'm sorry if this isn't the best place to ask about this, but I thought it would be easier for you than getting a phone call that might pull you away from something else you were doing.
Thanks for your help!

Hi! My name is Teri and I am new here. I have just taken my first steps in hopefully becoming a student sometime in the future by purchasing the required reading for the course work. I am excited to begin delving into this material and learning some new things.

I look forward to getting to know you all. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions.

Teri

My question is is there a bundle package available? Im not speaking of the books, though I only have the Black Folder and I'm reading that now, but the other long list of products. A bundle package would be helpful.

My two cents...

Nope, no bundle, because i want people to actually purchase and USE the materials for at least 4 months before we have our interview call. I don't want "drive-by" students who purchase everything in a bundle and then never finish the program. So easy does it. Buy some things, work with them. Read a couple of books. If you like that, buy some more, read some more, listen to the CD, buy a bit more.... The process is paced naturally to a 4 month duration.

I should have waited for your response. lol I purchased almost everything but most of it I can use in one way or another. It will take me about 3-4 to read the books because I'm in graduate school as well. Whether I get excepted or not, it's a great package and I'm looking forward to using the products. Thank you for the response.

Here are some general questions:

Where can I learn the foundation of magick?
Sometimes I just think that I am burning candles blindly.

How do I know if a magic is black or white?

Why do only experienced practitioner do spells on new moon?

Why can only dark red candles be used by experienced spellcasters?

dppagc,

Learning the foundationg depends on the practice you wish to utilize. Many forms of magic exist and the foundations of them are different based on those traditions. Some commonality may exist or cross over, or a technique learned with one style may help or also be effective with another. LM sells many many books that outline how to do magic. From experience its a lot of trial and error. You need to read how its done, talk with people how its done then do it and adjust and see what does work, what does not and keep growing. their is no this is it step guide. black v white magic can differ based on the type of work you do and how you view magic. Example many Wiccans think any form of magic that influences the will of another is black.. which means virtually all magic is black. Some think only harm spells or spell to hurt or curse a person are black. In hoodoo the concept of karma does not exist, the work is only done if its justified so regardless if its considered black or white, it matters if God says I am justified in the working. I never was told experienced practitioners only work in a new moon, in fact every worker I know works with all moon cycles. I also have never been told only dark can be worked with certain workers. Seems you have some notions of the work based on what you read or were told by someone, thus it is best to ask them to explain and learn what method of work they use. If it is hoodoo, understand customes and tradtions can change based on region, though the basic concepts still exist. If you feel you are burning candles blindly then my guess is you are not connecting with the work. All work based on nature has spirits in them, spirit of the color, the candle, the herbs, the oil blend, the powders, the incense, the people involved, the ancestors, etc..connect with them in the work and you no longer will feel like you are blindly burning candles

Hey y'all :)
So I'm really enjoying this course. I've decided to read through all the lessons, mark off the homework, then go back to do it after I get through reading all the lessons. I noticed I did better in my college courses that broke the book lessons up in a similar way.

Hello everyone!

This is my first post ever on the forum! Ms. Cat's course has been on my radar for a few years now. I know a couple people personally who have taken it and I have not heard them say anything bad about it! I'm just now getting around to saying I'm ready to take the course. I have already made all the necessary purchases and am ready for the interview.

I hope to make more friends and meet more people of like mind! :)

I don't have facebook and I choose not to to avoid all the internet drama. I do have google plus and have befriended Ms. Cat on there at least. Is that acceptable? The last bit of products I ordered that I needed for the course was 7 months ago so I've met the requirement of waiting at least 4 months My experience with the products has been pretty great!!! They've all worked as intended!!! I've sent in an email saying I'm ready for the interview and am waiting for a response I know they're busy after having just had the festival

Hello, OgundokunOmoOgun

Here is #8 of Miss cat's rules (I have quoted it from her webpage):

"You must be my friend on Facebook and if you have no Black friends on Facebook, i will not accept you as a student"

Take care

Hello Ms. Cat!!! :)

I have an interview scheduled with you on the 7th of July. I don't have facebook because I want to avoid all the internet drama out there. I obviously won't be able to befriend you on facebook then. Is that ok? I have google plus and befriended you on there at least.

I've been in the Navy for just under nine years now and have made great friends of all colors to include black people.Being in the Navy has exposed me to so much culturally. I went to my job school with one person who is black and he is from New Orleans and knows something as some people say. Him and I had a great conversation about the work with a black man we were working with one time and I gained a lot from it. I also have a friend from work who is from Georgia who is black and is aware at least of some things, too.

My point is that I'd hate to not be able to take your course and learn from you because of me not having facebook. If I can't, I'll be ok with that :) Thank you for your time and all that you have done :)

Hello Miss Cat,

I have been interested in your correspondence course for quite some time. I have looked over the required ingredients and the orders I have placed in your shop, to see what matched the qualifications. Although, I'm having a hard time deciphering a few things.

I have purchased "Steady Work" Oil and Powder in the past, would that fall under the "Money" category of required oils/powders? Or will i have to purchase an oil specifically related to money?

Secondly, I have recently purchased a Fiery Wall of Protection Spellkit. I see that you do require a few "protection" items for the Course. This kit comes with Oil and Powder and I'm sure that I wont use it all in the completion of the Spell. Will I need to purchase other protection items for the course? Or will the oil from the kit count towards it?
