How Do You Do?
Greetings and Salutations!
My name is MileHighMojo because I live here in the Denver area right up against the gorgeous Rocky Mountains. I am a handsome gay man that grew up in a small town in Oklahoma, then lived in Dallas for 17 wonderful years before the mountains called me to Colorado. I have always been curious with Hoodoo, but that wasn't what my grandma called it. I am a Baptist and "spiritual doctoring" was just another part of life for my grandparents but what my parents were left with, they called superstitions, signs, and such. I was also born in a part of Oklahoma that had many tribes of Native Americans. Their culture and customs would interweave their way into our normal life and The Trail of Tears literally crosses my hometown. In the air there was always a sense of magic, from the growing of the green wheat in winter to be ready by harvest or the sound of the thunderstorm approaching the porch in an otherwise quiet place. I left to find myself but really found myself after looking back at where I came from. This was a lesson that took years to learn. I look forward to chatting with you on the forum as I take this journey and beyond. I plan on taking Miss Cat's correspondence course. I have just gotten Deacon Millet's book and The Art of Hoodoo Candle Magic. So that is my snowy weekends work! Be well!

Hello, MileHighMojo!!
Welcome to the forum and to the Lucky Mojo family!
I am posting the most popular threads and some forum rules for you to look over.
And we are looking forward to seeing you on the forum.
If you ever have any questions, we are ALWAYS here for you.
Enjoy!!
These are links to general information on Hoodoo and to give you a jumping off point.

Conditions and how we can address them:

Here is some info on how the forums are set up. It is divided into four parts:
1) News and Announcements about the Lucky Mojo Curio Company and this site.
2) Lucky Mojo Spiritual Supplies and how to use them, listed in threads by product type and product title.
3) Life Conditions and Situations, with recommended Lucky Mojo products, spells, and advice.
4) The Online Hoodoo Community, including sites, events, and outreach sponsored by Lucky Mojo.
When you post, it helps your moderators, who are recompensed volunteers, if you post in the area of the board that is best suited to the archival of your question or comment. That way moderators will not have to move your post or merge it into ongoing threads.
If you can't find a post you made, it may have been moved or merged. Go to your profile by clicking on your name and "search recent posts" -- you will find it.
Within each board section there are STICKY threads -- ones that always stay "stuck" to the top. These are popular discussion-threads that you can read and add to if your questions or comments fall into one of these oft-broached topics. If you don't see a "sticky" that relates to your question, feel free to start a new thread in the relevant section.
We do have a few "thou shalt not" rules here, and they can be found in the Forum Rules link at the top of each page. Most important for newbies are these four common errors to avoid:
1) Please do not come here asking for our formulas for conjure oils or for instructions on how to use spiritual supplies that you bought at a grocery store or at a competitor of ours; this is the Lucky Mojo Forum and is financially supported by the Lucky Mojo Curio Co.
2) Please do not spam the moderators by sending multiple duplicated private messages asking for personal help outside the board; many of our moderators do perform readings and rootwork spell-casting for clients, but they are professionals and you should approach them as you would any other professional.
3) Please do not post illegal copies of material from other web sites or from books.
4) Please do not post put-downs of any group of people based on their religion, race, or national origin, including derogatory comments about religions to which you may have previously been an adherent or comments in which you seek to falsely conflate any religion with the practice of evil sorcery.

Thank you Miss Michaele, I do have a lyrical way of speaking when spirit comes through and I am glad you were able to get a read on that, no pun intendedMissMichaele wrote:Welcome to the forum, MileHighMojo! You sound like you have a poetic mind -- a valuable attribute for a spiritual worker

Re: How Do You Do?
Thank you Miss cat, I've enjoyed your weekly show for years and have been studying my books in order to take the correspondence course. I will start ordering products on the first as I've been waiting and saving the money in my bible. I wish I lived closer because you are a wealth of information and as Madame Nadia says, lol, Lucky Mojo is the Mecca of Hoodoo. I'm eager to learn and become a practitioner as it is a calling for me to help others. Thank you for all you have done.catherineyronwode wrote:Enjoy your visits here -- and thank you for alowing us to fill your spiritual supply needs.

Re: How Do You Do?
Thank you for the honor of the reading today on the LMC show Miss cat, ConjureMan Ali, and Candelo. It was so good to hear that 2015 has good things in store for me and for changing directions. I called to schedule my interview with you Miss cat, but the girl said I should call back on Tuesday and ask about scheduling then. I will call to schedule with bells on so to speak, lol.
I can't wait to add my new LMCC supplies to my altar cabinet that I ordered. I wanted so much more but I am saving that for my pilgrimage to the Heritage Festival in May.
I am looking forward at that time to have a rededication of myself to Spirit by Baptism if that would be possible during my time there. I was baptised and saved as a young man but this is a different sort of calling to be baptised. A renewal, if you will.
Again, many thanks and blessings to you all.

Re: How Do You Do?
It was very nice to be of service to you today on the radio show. Katrina, who schedules all of my meetings, is off on Sundays and Mondays, and if you call on Tuesday, she will set you up with our time ASAP.
Talk to you then.

Thank you Miss cat. I took Candelo's advice as well and sent Prof. Porterfield a message and purchased a silver dime charm for my left ankle. Should I use Fear Not to Walk Over Evil to anoint the dime, or just Van Van oil? Also, would it be possible to add the Clarity Oil that you suggested to my current order? If so, I will call the shop and ask for it to be added to my order number that is uncharged yet. Thank you again for the wonderful reading and I look forward to speaking to you and meeting you and everyone else at my first Heritage Festival! I am so excited, if I could just find a place to stay that is vacant, lol. I couldn't believe how fast things are filling up. I also want to be around others from the festival for fellowship. Have a blessed day!

Re: How Do You Do?
I called the shop and had them add the clarity oil and fear not to walk over evil sachet powders to my order. Super simple and what a kind voice on the other end!
Thank you,

Re: How Do You Do?
I bet you are glad you aren't here now, this weather is so bipolar, lol, and thank you for the sentiment. Today was just to set up my interview to speak with Miss Cat but I did get to speak to Mother Katrina and she is such a wonderful person. She helped me with distance/times because I will be there for my 1st Heritage Festival this year. I am so excited!bmorlan wrote:Hi there..it was nice to hear you on the radio show yesterday!
