Hi I'm new to The forum and also new to candle magic and I just have a question that I wanted to ask. I am now trying to work with the crown of success candle on my own to help me with my studies in college, should I write a petition paper and tape it to my candle before lighting it? Or is it ok to just pray over the candle before I light it and that will be just as effective? Please help

I've got a question about burn times. If you have your candles in more of an enclosed space, that's a bit warmer, can that contribute to your candles burning more quickly? I started 3 yesterday morning & they're all about a quarter gone. It does seem rather quick. I know that can be a sign on the work, but maybe not if the candles are in a warmer area???

I have a question about which vigil candles I should order. I am in a relationship with a man and there is some hot and cold coming from him. Very connected at times and others a bit distanced. I would like to burn candles to open communication and have him verbalize his love for me. Also, we are committed but I want us to move to the next level. There is also an ex that is not threatening in the way that I feel he may return to her, but seems to want to keep communication up with him and I can tell it continues to bring up old hurts. It seems that when that happens he withdraws a bit from our relationship.

I am thinking:
Love me
Follow Me Boy
Stay with Me

What about helping him to heal from old hurt and removing that obstacle? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you Miss Aida. I was wondering about the Break up candle since they are already broken up and he's with me but there is lingering hurt. Would it be best to state my petition that "___ be freed from the past hurt of relationship with ___" or some other way? Not sure how to use the candle in this way or "__ breaks off any emotional attachment to ___"?

Miss Aida meant to use the break up vigil on the ex so that it breaks all ties with that person.

I would use both pictures, their full names and birth dates with your intention. The intention is what is important combined with the pictures.

You would buy each of the ingredients seperately dppagc. Hi, is it possible to have too many candles on one case that you are doing or "the more candles, the more chance of success". Let's say for example you were trying to have peace in the home but there was a troublemaker causing arguments. Would it be possible to use Hot Foot, Peaceful Home etc? Or would too many candles of different kinds upset the work, especially when using a honey jar? This is just an example as I don't want to discuss my exact case for fear of weakening the work e.g set and forget, but I do want to know if more would help.

Fire has many roles in magic.

One of the main roles is that it pierces the veil between this world and the spiritual world.

I usually don't purposely burn my photos but when the candle wax is consumed by the fire and does consume the photo, I find this to be a favorable sign

Hello everyone

I apologise in advance if I have posted in the wrong section, but I really didn't know where else to post. I know that reversing candles and reversing work is done traditionally on mirrors. I have some mirror tile coasters I would like to use to set my 4" and 6" candles on just for protection of bench I burn the candles on. I have my candles set in the brass star candle holders and I was wondering if the mirror tiles would affect my work adversely in any way. I am burning some stop gossip candles along with boss fix and fiery wall of protection. It seems like a silly question

but being only a newbie I truly want to make sure it doesn't affect my candle burning in any adverse way

Hey everyone, I am new here and I recently purchased a fixed Attraction candle with a very specific petition in order to attract the type of men I want. One of the attributes I want the men to have is financial wealth but I have been reading the forum and most moderators advise people to buy the Look Me Over candle to attract rich men. Is my Attraction candle still a good choice? I also ordered various oils like Follow Me Boy, Money Drawing, Wealthy Way, Attraction, Cleo May etc but this will take some time to reach me because I am an international customer. Will the spells work before I get the oils? I am apprehensive about doing spells by myself right now because I am not experienced enough and feel that I need to read more. Perhaps, I'll join the course later on. I am just worried I bought the wrong items for what I want. Someone told me about how great the company was and I got a bit too excited and didn't explore enough. I only discovered the forum after I had bought the products. Has the Attraction candle ever worked for attracting wealthy men?

Welcome to the forums! If you get a chance hop over to the introductions section and give us a little intro about yourself!

Don't worry to much about over what you ordered. You can use an attraction candle to attract whatever you want. It sounds like you were very specific in the petition so whatever you put in that you will attract. An attraction candle can be used to attract both love and money as it is so I think it can do just fine attracting the combination! You may start to see some action from the candle work before your oils get to you but that is not a problem. If you want to you can always order more candles set for you at the church to keep the pressure on while you work with your oils.

I wasn't expecting to get an answer so quickly. Well, you have certainly calmed me down. I can't wait for my oils to come and I think I will definitely try getting other candles that relate to other areas of my life. Do you recommend anything to do whilst rubbing the oils? Do I put them on like lotion or cologne? I will head to the introductions section and get familiar with things. What section should I use to update my progress? Sorry for all the questions.

I have noticed that the 7 day candles are encased in glass. Should I still dress the candles in the oils I bought? I want to give it an extra kick with the oils and a petition. Does dressing the glass and not the candle itself effect the spell in any way?

The Lucky Mojo candles are already dressed. But, yes, you can add oils but just be careful hat you don't overload the wax with oils or else you'll get a "sooty" burn.

You would add the oils to the wax and not the glass.

Regarding Blockbuster Candles, the instructions for the name paper that we place underneath the candle, we are to put a pinch of salt and pepper on the name paper after the candle finishes burning and then throw it in "running water." Since I am not near running water, how else can I discard the name paper?

Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask this question...

I received an order from LM today that contained 4 Adam and Eve figural candles. However, each one of them is broken around the ankles. The wick is still holding them together, so they aren't in separate pieces, but they won't stand up straight.

My question is that I have altar candles of corresponding colors to the figurals. Could I melt some wax off an altar candle and attempt to "mend" the legs of the figurals and THEN use them in my spellwork. Or should I not attempt to use a broken figural in a spell? The nature of the spells I was to use the figurals for is for love drawing. I just had doubts about using a broken candle for love. I hope it's not a bad omen or anything, but I feel the reality is simply that it was just due to shipping and the weakest spots on those Adam & Eve figurals are near the ankles.

What be the most suitable for gambling involved dices and cards? It's a Chinese game. Lady luck? Black cat? Or lucky13?
What be the most suitable for a person to control situations, people positive and people to stop controlling you? Master? Master key? Or another kind?
I can only choose 1 type for 1 situation to order to set lights at missionary church in runs of 7.

Tuesday I lit a 7 day chuparosa candle and a 3 day red candle and dressed it with come to me oil and herbs... Both were burning nice and clean and strong . But today, Friday , those are the only two candles on my alter with really weak low flames... I'm not sure what happened since everything was just burning good... I'm lighting them for my ex .... Is someone trying to stop me ? I'm so confused

Hi brianaw,

Be sure to read the page How to Read Divination Signs From Candle-Burning and the book Hoodoo Candle Magic by Catherine Yronwode and Mikhail Strao.

In my experience with setting lights for clients, I would just note when the flame went low and see if other signs show up. I usually will make various notes while the candle burns, but wait until it has finished to really read it as a whole. As for if someone is trying to stop you, I would say it is a little too early to tell as there is no other signs given here that would indicate it to me.

Papa Newt, you reminded me of a situation I had and I do agree you have to wait till candle burn completely.
What happened was a candle started very weak and it was already wax residue on one side of the glass. I guess it happens particularly due you to weak Vick burn flame. next day it was still weak but at the end of the burn it was no more residue of wax on sides of the glass. The glass container was completely clean. it was kind of strange to me. I have never seen it before. I'm a beginner.
I guess that means it will take time to see results of the spell .

Hello, I recently bought items from Lucky Mojo and I have read about watching the signs of candles. I have two candles lit at the moment, one for a job and one to attract the type of men that I desire. The attraction candle is burning well but the candle for my job search is burning weakly, the flame is quite dim especially compared to the attraction candle which is consistent, big and bright. At first I thought it was the candle wick that is too short but upon inspection both seem to have short wicks. Is this a sign that I may have trouble finding a job or am I overthinking?

I don't know if this info is useful to answering the question but just in case: I used Road opener, Van Van, Steady Work, Blessing, Money drawer and Look me over oils on my job candle and Attraction, Look Me Over, Cleo May, Come To Me, Van Van, Blessing and Money Drawing on my attraction candle. I dressed the candles with the oils upwards on both candle and poured drops on the base over the last two days. The job candle has always had a weak flame but it seems even weaker now.

This happened to me too. In fact today. I dressed a plain green vigil candle with Wealthy Way, Good Luck, and Lucky 13 oils. I sprinkled magnetic gold sand on it. I lit it and it went out in a couple seconds. I lit it again and it stayed lit and started to dim. When my Wealthy Way incense burn out, I burned Van Van. As soon as I burned the Van Van the flame went high. It's burning good now

Keep doing those candles until you get a good flame and a good burn

I have a love me vigil for me and my ex going 24/7. I place the vigil on top of the petition. Is it okay to use the same petition everytime I set a new light or do I have to redo the petition everytime I set a new light?
