Hello, Hellothere95,

We realize that you are new. But we please ask you to be mindful of where you post. Your question belongs under MISC candle services and not where you had the post originally.

If a person were to rely on vigils and prayer for most or all of their work, would that have comparable impact to doing a more elaborate spell? My energy and focus have been incredibly low lately, so I've taken a break from my spell work and ordered a few different runs of lights.

Hello, misskitty49,

I like to do both at the same time.

But if you're tired, then this was a very VERY smart idea to have the vigils lit to continue your work.

Good thinking!

I ordered candles to be set over 2 weeks ago- tried to call the church a few times and the number rings busy. Also tried emailing a couple of times with no response. How can I best get an update on my candle reports? Thanks so much!

Hi RebeccaMosaes,

It would be my guest that MISC may be a little behind as they were preparing for the Hoodoo Heritage Festival, as well as taking care of their church duties. Also with the amount of candles being set through their Candle Services can put a small wait in the time of receiving a report. A best way to find out more about your candle is to contact MISC.

I have a run of candles in progress at the MISC, the purpose of which is to affect my target.

I would like to know if I can also set a run of candles for myself for a completely different purpose, while I have a run of candles in progress to affect someone else?

I understand that it is not good to scatter my energies between different things if I am working the spells myself, but does this also apply to runs of candles set by the MISC?

Blessings for you help and advice.

aradia71 ,

Of course you can set your own candles for another purpose. Many people, including rootworkers, set multiple candles for multiple things during a day. Some work with alters so one is for drawing one is for hurt or harming or negative work. If one set is for one purpose and another for a different one you are fine, do the work with confidence.

Hello,

I actually emailed them a few days ago because I noticed my credit card was charged almost 2 weeks ago.

They responded by saying that it will take 3-6 weeks for orders to arrive within the USA. If they are shipping to other countries it will take 6-8 weeks.

I hope this answers your question. I extracted this information from my inquiry at: order@luckymojo.com

I was wondering which candle at MISC would be best for getting a love interest to communicate? Not communicate more, just communicate period. The target and I didn't have an argument or anything of that nature, but he started a new relationship and has stopped talking to me. He either ignores me or politely brushes me off whenever I attempt to talk to him.

Would a mercury candle be the way to go, or maybe come to me with a "talk to me" petition? Or a different candle entirely? Or would they all be equally as effective?

Thanks in advance!

What's a good candle to help someone deal with their insecurities while dating someone and seeking a commitment from them? Also is a Mercury candle good for getting a target to open up and communicate? Can you suggest petitions to help with these candles? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Mnb0687,

You could burn Crucible of Courage candles to give yourself confidence. Mercury does rule communication so that would be a good candle to help in that area. As for petition you just write what you want to happen. For example " I am courageous and confident" or "he/she communicates with openly and freely". Things like that. The folks at the church can help you narrow it down as well if you talk to them!

Peace~

I read somewhere here that I can request a candle server, but it was a very old post. Can I still request a specific person and if so who works at MISC at the moment.

Thank you.

I Am curious, does it normally take long to get candle report from MISC. I placed the vigil candles to be lit up by them on May 25; I email Inquiring about it On June 2, I was advised the candles were still burning and I would get report once they finish. I am waiting for the report but I dont want to bother them again, I am waiting for that report to get a reading and see what the advised will be.

What's s good candle(s) to use on a man that's emotionally unavailable? My friend likes this guy and he likes her but when she gets close to him or thinks she's gotten close to him, he pulls back & retreats.

Hello, I want to order a candle to be lit for me. I want to attract money and have luck at games of chance (lottery, gambling)
But I notice that there are several candles for this so which one should I consider for money winning in lotteries?

Thank you

Hello, Nefertiti

Money Drawing is great: www.luckymojo.com/moneydrawing.html

If you look at the oils on the bottom of this page ( www.luckymojo.com/gamblersluck.html ) you will see what oils are specific to what types of game that you play.

Most of thee oils have corresponding candles that can be set.

Wishing you a BIG win!!!

Hello everybody. I hope it's the right topic. I need to order 3 candles in a run for a house that is not selling for some reasons. I started burning St. Joseph candles myself but need more help. It's a fancy place and the price is right. Unfortunately the access to property is limited so I can't do much in there physically. So I decided to order to set lights to sell it asap.
What hoodoo candles would be the most appropriate?
Look me over? Fast luck? Prosperity? House blessing? Attraction? Or another 1?
Thanks a lot for your help.
Blessed Be!

Hi Slava,

I'm so sorry you're having such trouble. I just sold property, and it was a grueling process, so you have my sympathy.

You could certainly try Fast Luck or Attraction to help get the right attention. However, I feel Blockbuster may be in order here, as something appears to be standing in your way of success. Give that a try and see if it helps. You can then follow that up with Fast Luck and Attraction, as that would be a nice combination.

Good luck, please keep us posted!

I would just like to add a testimonial. Was waiting for my candle report to confirm what happened)
I had set a blockbuster candle at MISC, due to the feeling of not being able to escape or attain help for my situation.I had made appointments with two AIRR readers and was not getting any contact, I felt hindered in all aspects, work, not being able to go to school, finances, etc.
Soon after (a few days) of my candle being purchased, I had an overwhelming sense of being able to move forward. I received my reading from one reader and a refund from the other (thank you again, Deacon Millett!) I received an opportunity that can be described as nothing less than an act of God, to apply for the program I'm trying to get into,(the LAST seat) and test (tomorrow morning! Eek! Wish me luck!) In a location close to me instead of another city (crazy, I know!) And not to mention I got a stunning eval. At work and my supervisor OFFERED to write me a letter of recomendation for yhe school program (whuuut? Yep.that happened)
The candle also revealed something Khi explained I needed to work on in my reading (he's really great, thank you so much!) To move onward and progress.
So I'm really loving the blockbuster line lol. I have a crown of success being lit for tomorrow and a road opener, so I hope this, along with the remedies khi gave me, lead me to a better, brighter future for my little one and my sake. Thanks again everyone at MISC! YOU ROCK! ♥

Slava ,

Please consider other work to go along with the candle. Burning attraction insense with the intent to bring people in, or look me over to get people to look at it. Dust the for sale sign with the powder. Sprinkle dirt from the house mixed with attraction powder from major intersections or rel-estate offices to the house to draw them to you. I would do these in conjunction with having MISC burn candles for you. I find doing the work ( what I stated) and having MISC back it up will add great results. Attraction, St Joseph candles, look me over Crown of success would be great candles.

Hello dear j82. That's a great advice. Thank you very much. I am going to do that when it is possible. my orders are still in the way but I have lodestone powder so I'm going to mix with it. I do keep St.Joseph candles burning at all times. There's an interest and many showings but that's all it is that's why I am ordering blockbuster candles first and hopefully have access to property to cleanse it next week. I'll keep you guys posted.

Hi, I ordered a run of 13 week candles at the end of May for something but now want to do work (revenge) that contradicts one of the candles I'm having lit just now. I've read in a separate thread that lighting both of these candles at the same time can cancel one or the other out or both, so no results can be seen. Just now, I want to sit tight and see what happens with other things I have working, but the more as the days go on, the more angry I feel about the person and want to go ahead and order the candles. Would I need to ring MISC and tell them not to place the current candles, and do the other order? I have paid for them, but just worried they will be annoyed that I'm thinking of changing my mind. Thanks!

Hi everyone,I am going to.get another vigil.burned with misc, however I have a couple of questions if anyone might help with,I know you can request who you would like have set your lights, does anyone know who the workers are or if it's still the three deacons there only,I am asking because when I was reading on the rootworkers page I see miss Phoenix and brother Lou,do not do any type of break up,enemy,or revenge work,I know they are the candle setters, and I am wondering if you wanted lights set say dume or something, can that have an affect that whoever is setting them dosent do or agree with those workings, like if someone did those workings wouldn't it be more effective in really drilling the message through, like they would have more of that energy for darker work than those who don't want to do it,it was just something I was thinking ,as I have been reading posts that says they will only do them if they are justified and put that in the wording of the prayer, which brings another thing I have read here some rootworkers believe in justified in the eyes of God and some do not,and if you believe it's justified, can that wording be left out?
Just curious if these things make a difference, like if you wanted IS you would want someone who could really work with the spirit to help and if someone doesn't agree with or like those type of workings wouldn't it be less effective to get your outcome?
Any thoughts appreciated thank you.

Hi flames_dancer,

It would be best if you'd call the Church to discuss who would be setting your lights for you.

It is a basic tenet in hoodoo that the work must be justified in order to be successful. If you wish to curse someone, and it is not justified in the eyes of God, it wouldn't matter which rootworker was working on your behalf because their chance of success would be zero.

Good luck.

If you had candles set by MISC, and all the burns so far were not good (going out multiple times, leaving haze in the glass etc) should you ask for the others not to be burned, give up and move on to another sort of candle? The ones I have lit at the moment seem to suggest the Saint who I am asking for help does not want to work with me. I was thinking of moving on to a more coercive, dominating candle for my case.

Call them and ask them what they suggest. They will be more than happy to make suggestions and help you with this decision. Since they know the candle behaviors and have been watching them, they are the best people to ask for advice on this.

Wishing you the best

Take care

Thanks Miss Aida! The candles are burning mostly clear but leaving a slight rim of wax which MISC suggested any unresolved issues from the past need resolving before this work can complete. As well as this, some of the burns left a very light white haze on the glass which suggested again there may be distractions along the way. I'm following MISC's advice of what to do in the mundane world to help this work but are there any other candles you would suggest I ask them to light to overcome these issues? Thanks

Hello, Nony65,

I would ask the person giving you the report what he/she suggests (as they are watching the candle behaviors).

They would be more than happy to help you

take care

They suggested the vigils that I tried before (reconciliation), although I know I've moved onto more coercive stuff now. I don't want to upset anyone though if I suggest another candle. Is it common for MISC customers to be halfway through a batch of vigils, they aren't burning too well so they want to try something else?

Hi Nony65,

As Miss Aisa suggested above, you might want to speak to the candle server at MISC who is handling your lights, as they would be better equipped to advise you on your candle run.

Good luck.

Hi y'all! I have a question on what kind of candle would be best suited for this situation to be burned at the MISC. I am currently doing break up work but I want to add another element to the mix. I want to prevent one of the involved parties in my break up work from obtaining a visa to go to the country where the other person involved in the break up work lives. I want this person to stay where there are at so it will help aide in the break up work if that makes sense. I did not see a banishing candle, but wasn't sure if I had used one of the unlabeled candles like the Plain Black/Red combo to write in a petition and have the good ol' folks at the Church do what would be best. Thanks guys for any advice you can provide!

Thank you very much Ms Aida you are always so helpful! :D I do have one more question, how would it be best to word a petition for the hot foot in this situation? Something along the lines of "Prevent *Person A" from getting a visa to stay in *country*. Banish *Person A* from *country*"?
or
"*Person A* stay away from *country* and *Person B*!"

lostinbigd.

When using hot products I would make the petition more emotional and filled with hot words.

Are MISC vigils still effective if I am not working with the same formula at home? When I do spells at home, most of the oils I use are from the same general family. I would like to have a vigil lit that is from a separate formula line, but would use the same petition as I use in my other spells.
