So I have been working my honeyjar for about a year or so. Naturally, Honey crystalizes... So how does this affect my working? It has clouded and crysalized to the point I can no longer see the picture in the jar.

I'm not sure if I should be posting this here, or under the candle divination page - so if I'm wrong, my apologies and feel free to move my post to the correct place.

So, I've been burning candles on my LM Reconciliation honey jar for a few weeks now - haven't seen a ton of movement, but hey - it's reconciliation work, and I think there's a lot of emotional healing that needs to be done, so I'm trying to be patient. Anyways, I was burning the 4" pink candles that I ordered with the honey jar (I ordered extras); but I recently ran out. While I wait for a new order to came in, I bought some cheap pink taper candles from the dollar store - they're a lot taller, so one lasted me about 4 days of burning. The 4" candles burned very cleanly, with a strong flame; with the exception of a tear that formed once or twice. When I started burning the other candle (snuffing it out each time), the first two days seemed to be consistent - clean burn, strong flame, no wax, no flickering, etc.

However, the last 2 days, the wick seemed to coil around a lot, like a spring, and while the flame was strong, it was letting out black smoke every once in a while. I cut the wick a couple of times, which stopped the smoking for a bit, until the wick had seemed to build another coil. I don't actually like cutting the wick, or doing anything with the candles once I've set it - I feel like I'm tampering with the work. Near the end, the flame was really tall and strong, not smoking, but there was a big coil, that eventually caused the whole wick to fall over into the wax and distinguish the flame all together - therefore there was some wax left over. I'm a bit torn as to contribute this to a cheap candle, where the wick just accumulated as to opposed to burn away, causing the candle to smoke - or whether this is a major sign of more work, a lot of resistance, or a combination of the two.

I've had a reading done, and it does sound like he will come around - whether the relationship will last or not is undetermined. Right now, I feel like if we were to work things out, we'd have to take some time to just be friends and see how we really feel, and if it's worth getting back together - but ultimately, I'm hoping to get my ex back; but I will happily settle for friendship.

I guess my question is really - with a honey jar, where you're working it multiple days for a variable amount of time - is it common that the candles can burn drastically different from one day to the next; and how do you interpret that? Is it kind of like, one day my target could be sweetening up, and thinking warm thoughts about me; and another day he could be feeling really negative towards me? This latest burn is a bit discouraging to say the least. Thanks a lot for any input, and experiences with honey jars having inconsistent candles.

Is it possible to add a second petition to an ready active honey jar to strengthen it? I want to add herbs to my jar, and I've read you can just put them into the honey, but I feel like a second packet written with the same intention would double the strength. Is that correct and advisable?

I've gotten great reaction after the first candle! However, my ex started showing resistance afterwards. He also told me that his mom warned him that I might resort to magic to get him back. I am thinking of sticking to uncrossing and healing for a couple of were and then switching to a combo of Come to me, Love me and Stay with me. My question is how do I dress a candle with multiple oils? Do I just rub each oil down the whole length of the candle top to bottom in turn? Do I wash my hands between oils? (my soap is scented, would that affect anything?)

Just put the jar half way into warm water.

It ought to fix that. It shouldn't affect you r work unless the warming doesn't fix the problem

The uncrossing goes top to bottom

The healing goes bottom to top

The love oils go bottom to top.

So, Uncrossing would be by itself on its own candle. Healing by itself on its own candle

The love oils can be mixed together an then anoint the candle.

Be advised that the healing candle ought to be blue. The love candles ought to be pink, etc.

I wasn't trying to ask for a candle interpretation/divination - but rather is it common to have a candle or two burn drastically different on a honey jar than the majority of the candles burned?

Hi lar019,

Yes, that is quite common. It just depends on your target's frame of mind while the candles were burning. For instance, if they're having a bad day and preoccupied with something else, the magic isn't going to affect them as strongly as it otherwise would.

I did a honey jar spell because my now ex, who still claims to love me, broke up with me to be single. I am 12 years older than him. We have been together for almost three years. He claims to want to date other people before he decides if I'm the one because he has only ever had one other girlfriend before me. So I did the spell using the torn square from a paper bag, a fine tipped red marker (felt tip) and I used sugar in my jar to cover the bottom and then put the folded paper with the personal things mentioned next on top and then filled it with honey and finished the spell. He slept over last night so I used semen and the skin that pealed off his back from a sunburn. I didn't however use anything of mine which I just started seeing in forums. I have a huge pink candle that I anointed with oil. So far the candle is burning clean. Do you see any errors here? I feel ok about it but I wanted some advice.

IceMachine,

I definitely know that it's recommended to use personal concerns, such as the target's hair or nail clippings. It gives the work more purpose, and makes it stronger.

Unfortunately there's no surefire way it'll work 100%, but keep with it. Give it three days for signs, three weeks for movement and three months for completion. my movement took about four weeks or so, so it can vary; don't fret if it doesn't happen right away.

It does make a stronger connection to their Spirit if you have something personal of theirs. As for signs and movements, I've seen things take 6 months to a year to manifest. You just have to be strong in your faith.

So I did my first honey jar and it seems he has been more sweeten to me, but still have issues to work on. The candles I've put on top have only been pooling on top of the jar and not going down the side of the jar and the paper I had written my petition on has come to the top of the jar. Should I take it as a good sign or should I keep working more on it? I did a vinegar jar as well and all the candles drip down the edge so I was worried about the honey jar.

I just noticed a bit of honey leaked out of the lid down the side of the jar. I wiped the outside clean and tried to tighten the lid more. I don't think it will leak again. I've really loved this honey jar (my first), can I go on working on it?

Also the petition in this first jar is basically Love me Cherish me Desire me Trust me Respect me et cetra. Now that I got the reconcilation and return to me oils my plan was to use them on the candles for this jar. But since the big fight with my ex, I wonder if I should make a second jar with a specific new petition saying Forgive me Return to me Trust me or can I put the second petition underneath the first honey jar while the candle is burning?

hello wonderful people. I am new to this although magic been in my family my entire life. I have a reading set with cat, but that isn't until October 9 so I've been doing some research on your site and made a honey jar. You guys (are all so lighting a 7 day come candle for me at the church which started it two days ago Friday. That night I also lighted a green candle dressed with Rose petals sugar and lemon grass oil on top of my honey jar there was already a black whale looking like figure that was left from previous burn. After letting this candle the candle was uneven and I was watching it closely and it didn't take hold and it nearly fell but I caught it. I could tell that there are some obstacles so I did some banishing in some cleansing and put love crystals and my spiritual guides facing the candle and honey jar which worked and the candle melted down into a huge black mass. I took them black mass off of the candle it and brought it to a river and released it there thus releasing the negativity and have been burning white candles on top of the honey jar since then. It's been two weeks since I started the honey jar. When I first started the honey jar the flames were beautiful and light and intermittently they will be big and beautiful and colorful and steady. All this magic I'm doing is to clear out fear that arose into budding relationship I had with a man I felt an instant attraction to and he felt the same, he lives on the East Coast I live on the West Coast. We spent a weekend together and it didn't end the way I would like, but I felt is that fear got into the midst of it and blockages which I'm seeing the black mass as representation of that. Can someone tell me if I'm on the right path and give me any extra tips?

I am not understanding why you are using green for love.

I would use either white, pink (for romantic love) or red (for passionate loved)

Petition Paper: Manilla Envelope

Put herbs in -say each herb and request what it does

Vanilla / cinnamon, Patchoulli / Jasmine - Bring romance

Allspice, cinnamon, Rose Petal, Vanilla - Bring love

Bay Leaves / Cinnomon / Vanilla / Cloves / Ginger - Bring lust

Scullcap - Bring Commitment and fidelity

Rosemary - Bring reconciliation and protection of the relationship

Fold toward yourself - Eat 3 small spoonfuls and each time say: As this Sugar is sweet to me, so may ____ be sweet to me.

Put packet into sugar.

Anoint and request candles with oil, stroking up with Doves blood: May ____ find me worthy of his love and affections, come to me X3.

Charge Jar while candles are melting

This is where my question comes in: I used three separate candles for the burn:

A yellow, Red, and Pink.

I inscribed my request for each candle into the candle with ____ name on it. -I couldn't have an open flame, so I used a light bulb melter (not sure of the actual name), I broke up the three candles and let them melt together with a drop of Doves Blood, When they melted and I turned off the melter there was residue in the wax (Kinda like tea leaves) It originally showed up as A heart made of roses, and a Half moon of roses lining the sides. When I checked it half way through melting, there was then lips, but the top lip was real long and a fish, when the wax was completely dry the residue formed a tree one way and if you turn it slightly its a beetle.

The residue seemed to be made mostly out of the red candle, the wax melt was a really pretty sunset orange color.

So My question is, are these good omens, and is it alright that I let the waxes of the three candles mix?

Also Ive been charging the jar through meditation when I have free moments. I also added a piece of his shirt with my hair tied around it to the jar.

Youllneverknow, this sounds like pretty good work, except:

The herbs go into the petition and the petition goes into the jar BEFORE you eat the sugar or honey. And you don't need three whole spoonsful, just three licks or spoon-tips full.

There's nothing wrong with keeping track of the candle burn while it's progressing, but the final message is at the end of the burn. Trees are good signs generally, and all those roses, lips and hearts are very encouraging transitional signs.

You can always check your understanding by doing some other kind of divination -- whatever system is clear as a bell to you; or schedule a reading with one of the fine folks at AIRR (http://www.readersandrootworkers.org)

Next time you want to work a sweet jar where you can't have open flame, consider a sugar jar -- sugar rather than honey, but otherwise just like building a honey jar. Instead of lighting candles on it, you can shake it while praying aloud.

Is it ok to keep the same jar, but remove old and add new petitions over time?

I'm starting over a lot of my spellwork and I'm trying to break my work down into smaller, more reasonable baby-steps. Some of the petitions I've planned are very small (text me, talk to me, visit me), and I was thinking of simply removing them and replacing them within the same jar as needed. Is this ok, or do I need to start a new jar each time I change the petition?

To me the whole idea of using candles is to add "spark", "fire" etc to the job. Activly melting with an electric tool or in a frying pan has another meaning. At least to me. But besides that it sounds like a good job.

I had a reading with Miss Aida yesterday who was amazing and immensely helpful! I learned that I've blaming the wrong people for my breakup and was able to lose my anger for them. Unfortunately the reading revealed that the real culprit was my ex's mother who went so far as to have a breakup spell put on us. Miss Aida advised against doing uncrossing work until after 10/9 when mercury is no longer in retrograde. In the meanwhile, I am afraid everytime my ex talks to his mom on the phone she's going to feed him more poison that would set my reconciliation work back.

Would it be worth while if I made a honey jar to sweeten her to me? I do know that she doesn't hate me as a person, she just doesn't want me with him (when he talked to her about the breakup, she asked him to follow his heart but don't hurt me), also she's been pushing him to kick me out of the house. If I do make the honey jar, which herbs would be appropriate? Balm of Gilead? Can I add poppy seed to confuse her? Or controlling type of herbs? I don't have her personal concern but would a picture of us together do?

If you're going to perform a honey jar, again, I would personally wait until Mercury goes direct. But that's just me.

PLESE don't put poppy seeds or anything of that nature into a honey jar. And please don't put your picture in anything that contains poppy seeds or anything that causes confusion or negativity.

You can use Balm of gilead in a honey jar with you and her (and use your picture also. Find more herbs here (just look for the herbs that do the nice things!:

Dear LM family,

I have a question regarding Crown of Success honey jars. Let's say I am performing a Crown of Success honey jar to sweeten my manuscript to agents, editors, publishers and readers. Should I make four different honey jars for each group? Would one honey jar suffice if the petition packet read agents, editors, publishers and readers? Or should I make four different packets and put all four in one big honey jar? My first instinct is to make four jars. It'll be expensive and intense since I'll have to lit four candles three times a week and pray over them, then again the question is, how bad do you want the results?

I think you could put agents, editors, and publishers in one jar. I'm not sure how you would go about making a jar for the readers, but since you can get the names/business cards of agents/editors/publishers, you might be able to put them in one big jar. You can also sprinkle your manuscripts with a corresponding sachet powder before mailing them off, and do some attraction/look me over spells on yourself to back up the jars.

I've kept up with working my honey jar and recently the candles have been burning all the way out with nothing but the wick left behind or if there was wax from a previous melt it has melted it away. I've read into candle readings and seen mixed things about it, so wondering if I should be taking it as a good sign or a bad sign? Thank you for your help.

It's my first time posting here. I am interested in doing a honey jar spell for love. I have this guy that does talk to me almost daily but I am just not sure if he's interested or he's just treating me like a buddy. I however am hoping that he is interested in me in the romantic way.

The spell will be a little weaker but if that's all you have, then, use it.

Do I need to start all over on my honey jar if I re-opened it, but didn't add anything to it? I just started it yesterday, Friday, and just a few hours ago I decided to open it and wanted to push down the petition paper all the way to the bottom because it was still on top of the honey in the jar..I read on here that you one shouldn't reopen the jar unless they are adding extra items, but then on the sheet that I received, it said that opening the jar wouldn't affect it?

Please bare with me on this question! What is the difference in expected results from a honey jar and a mojo hand when used in the context of a love spell? They seem, to the novice me, that they are similar in that they are using a container to hold herbs, minerals, curios, petition papers and personal concerns with the ultimate purpose of bringing two people together. I understand that a honey jar can be worked for family members, court cases, friendship etc. And that the contents, dressing oil...etc. are chosen accordingly. I also understand that we don't (or at least I don't and can't) prepare a mojo hand because I have no clue how to make one properly. And I believe that mojo hands are mostly for love purposes. I am not sure if my question is clear or if I am making sense. But, I am really interested in understanding. But what I am saying is: if an experienced rootworker prepares a honey jar for a couple and a mojo hand for another couple, why is the mojo hand considered to be more powerful in yielding results where as the honey jar is looked at as something to work in parallel to a spell, hence not sufficient in its own right?

That's a good question

Every rootworker thinks differently (or has a different school of thought) on what to do.

I personally ask that all y clients have honey jars. They are slow to manifest but they re pretty solid. And it sweetens people to each other. I even ask that happy couples have honey jars. It can never hurt. Never!

A mojo hand is made for a specific purpose. Not just for love. There are many types of mojo hands: www.luckymojo.com/mojocatmojo.html

So, I personally like honey jars as a permanent reinforcement and then the mojo hand as an extra kick and another spell.

I know that I am not answering everything that you are asking but this is the best that I can do on the forum (as it is too time consuming)

Hi everyone.

I have a question about my honeyjar.
I didn't actually follow any directions in making one, I just included things that made sense to me which are:

-cardamom
-cumin seeds
-coriander seeds
-cinnamon
-star anise
-cloves
-rose petals
-a piece of paper with his handwriting
-his and my hair and some of our newborn baby's hair also
-the petition
and some other things he touched.

I hope I didn't overdo it ? Just wanted to make a powerful jar, my ex left me and our newborn baby.
Today I found out he is seeing a new woman, would my jar still be effecive ?
