Hello,

I've been given guidance to use van van oil in anointing some objects and to bury them at a crossroads.

First, I'm not able to get van van oil for at least a week. May I substitute lemon essence instead?
Second, I live in a urban area, so all crossroads are paved! What are some appropriate substitutes?

Hello Superfox!,

Unfortunately lemon essence would really not be a good substitute for van van oil. It will not have the rest of the herbs involved in the creation of the oil. For the crossroads, if the middle of the crossroads is concrete pick a corner and bury it in the corner or drive far enough out of town to get to a dirt crossroads if possible!

Hello again, forum.
I wrote here a few months ago for some advice on what to do about a potential relationship. I’ve received some good advice and support here in the past, so I’m hoping I could get some help again. (Sorry, the story’s a little long.)
A little backstory:
January last year, I performed a lodestone love spell asking for someone with the personality traits I wanted in a partner. Shortly after, I met someone who I became close with and after several months, he approached me for a relationship. Unfortunately, he was already set to move to the UK, so it was a case of poor timing but we maintained a romantic relationship for the months we had together.
At the time he left for England, I performed a card reading to see if I should pursue the relationship, but they indicated that there would be sadness ahead. In hindsight, I’m not sure whether I misinterpreted the reading to mean the sadness I would feel when he left.
We still remained close friends and kept in contact daily while he was overseas, even after I began to see another person.
A few months ago, he came back to Australia intending to find a job here. We spent time together as we had before he left – platonic at first, but it once again turned into something more. I think both of us were hesitant to discuss our feelings or the possibility of a relationship because if he didn’t find employment within a few months, he would have to leave the country again. Also, by this stage, both of us had begun seeing other people and trying to move on, but it was evident that our feelings were still there. (Yes I know, it reads like a terrible romantic movie.)
In his final weeks here, I told him how I felt and he reciprocated those feelings. He said that he would have loved to pursued a serious relationship with me if he didn’t have to move back to the UK. We spent his last moments here together until he had to board his plane yesterday night.

My big question is: What do I do now?
I have been in long-term relationships before, but I have never felt this way about someone so romance is strange feeling for me. I would love to pursue something with him, but short of moving to the UK – which I can’t afford – I don’t know how.
I was considering some sort of road-opening work to find a way for him to move back into the country and gain employment here. Or maybe another lodestone spell with him specifically in mind to draw him closer to me. Or both road-opening and love work together? Are there other things I should research and consider?
On a side note, I also collected some of his semen and I have some of his things with me from the day he left, just in case. (My housemates know I have a habit of collecting herbs and oils for particular things, but I’ve never really collected another person’s items and I’m not too sure how they feel about having a man’s fluids in my freezer.)

So yes! do the lodestone Love Drawing work with him in mind and the road opening work! Since you have already had some success with the lodestone stuff I would say you have some talent for it and I would stick with what you know works. I think looking into Moving Candle spells targeted for love would be best and you can mix Road Opening powder, Love Drawing and Attraction powders to mark the paths between your candle and his candle for them to walk on. Also send him physical letters dressed with these same powders so he will be handling them.

Then do some work to land your boy a job where you live! Maybe get a Steady Work spell kit and some Attraction stuff for that too!

Just curious, can cross-road dirt be used for any type of road opening work? The reason I ask this is because there is the symbolism of cross-roads.

I'm dissatisfied with my job but don't exactly know what I want to do. I really like the location of where I work (its literally a block from my daughter's preschool) and have half days on Fridays which is awesome so I don't want to leave just yet. I want to wait until my daughter graduates from her day care in a couple of years but I might have to leave much sooner than I anticipated. I want to be passionate about my job and be proud of what I do.

I don't know what direction to take in terms of hoodoo but I know I don't want to use a spell kit. I was thinking some I can hide away or stay hidden like a mojo bag maybe. I don't want my husband finding out. He doesn't believe in this stuff and I don't want any negativity from him.

edora85, I think you should go out on a limb -- just an inch or so -- and get the Crown of Success spell kit. It contains a mojo bag as well as the rest of the Crown of Success line of spiritual supplies, so you can take baths, burn incense, and dress your resume with the sachet powder. There are a few candles included to help prepare your mojo bag for its work, but smoking it with incense will do that too.

Since you aren't sure what you want to do, I'd also buy some Clarity products to use along with the Crown of Success supplies.

My life needs to change pretty much immediately. Desolate and desperation are words that define my situation but I know that I have the capacity to change my life because I have proven my resilience time and time again.

I need a path. I am not indecisive, I am a blank slate and I should say that I 100% cannot afford a reading, no way, not even an option.

Background: In 2010 I went back to school at the age of 35 and loved it. I had a 3.8 gpa at one of the best schools in the U.S. and I had a great federal job at an art gallery on the national mall. In 2012 & I opted to move to another state to get away from toxic people which meant goodbye to academia & my job. Geography did not change anything. Technology prevents us from truly escaping people though so folks kept eating at me until I couldn’t take it anymore & I checked myself into a hospital. These people still have a tremendous impact on my life & and mental health & unfortunately I must interact with them until some legal issues resolve themselves. Between January 2013 & October 2014 I was in the hospital four times and currently I am on social security disability.

Anxiety has become my master and it impacts every aspect of my life. Namely, I am now afraid of people. On the upside, I am very honest and self aware when it comes to my mental health and I am taking steps to manage my condition. So my question is not about medical issues, it is about finding the right road to follow.

I never considered changing my career path, returning to school was accomplishing a goal I set for myself, but I ended up getting much more out of it than I anticipated. Finances and close proximity to relatives stand in the way of me formally resuming my studies but it is my hope to return to the same university & finish what I started because it was extremely fulfilling and I want to go to graduate school.

Up until 2013 I worked in ornamental horticulture. Somatic symptoms associated with anxiety impact my ability to do such detailed work with my hands so currently this is not an option but I am optimistic that my anxiety will fade and I will carry on with my previously active lifestyle.

My living situation is convenient for my regular doctor visits but is otherwise unpleasant. I need to move soon because environmental factors in my building are effecting my physical health. I don’t want to go just anywhere though. I ended up in the situation that I am in now because I rushed to move and I don’t want to repeat that (but I need to get out of here). Also, I don't want another temporary home, I want to put down roots.

I pray to St. Anthony for inspiration and clarity and I have been able to eliminate things that I do not want to do but I have a lack insight about the future. I see other people and things clearly but with me it's an abyss. In my heart of hearts my greatest dream is to have a family of my own & to be a mother but that is not realistic (had to have a hysterectomy last year, I still have my ovaries but harvesting my eggs for surrogacy would not be cheap). I don't just want direction and clarity, I need purpose and I need a goal.

The post, “Need assistance obtaining an internship and career direction” is similar to what I am experiencing only I am older and in great need of a complete overhaul and personal development.

I have a question, (sorry if its in the wrong place/newbie question!) I read a lot on the forums about using both blockbuster and road opener for the same cause.why is this? And how do I know if I need both? (Still waiting on airr reading since april 26..

) I only ordered blockbuster to use after uncrossing and cleansing. My situation basically involves being stuck and unable to progress to have a better quality of life- resources and support elude, and if its not one thing its another(or one person to another!).I feel like a rat in a maze with no exit! XP
I thought because of this, blockbuster would be fitting before I do any attraction work.But I did not know if road opening would help my case? (I've read blockbuster is explosive and messy in nature.. :/)
What do you all think? Any input/experience is much appreciated, I guess I'm a bit confused.

Messy? Hmmm....haven't had a "messy" experience with it yet.

Blockbuster will bust the doors down.

Imagine a steel door that is locked (your obstacle). On the other side of that door are many roads.

The Blockbuster breaks down the proverbial steel door.

Then, the road opener takes you on the right road and path.

So, I would definitely have the blockbuster candle set if this were me.

Hello, lol by messy I meant it won't make a clear new road.

I just wondered if this non delicate roadway would cause different struggles, and if road opener would be beneficial.

Blockbuster does not take away one obstacle only to create other ones. It removes whatever is blocking your path. Road Opener will smooth out the way ahead of you and, as Miss Aida said, will set you on the right path.

I have been blocked for some time - about three years now.

I have been unable to see/hear/feel, with the exception of two specific individuals. I see only blackness when I should be seeing so much more.

I visited a shaman and he said the block is self constructed. Others have said the same. I do tend to believe that to be the case.

The block is not an option. I need to break through it and am at a loss for how to do that and do not know where it originated.

I'm looking for the best way to break through, and also possibly a reputable local practitioner (MD/DC area).

You have answered one of your own questions. You say that a "shaman" and "others" have said the block you are experiencing is "self-constructed" and that you too "tend to believe that to be the case." So then, when you say you "do not know where it originated," you already have your answer: saying that it is "self-constructed" means that it originated within and by yourself. You have jinxed, crossed, or blocked yourself. This is not unique to you -- it does happen, and it can be remediated and undone.

To break through is one technique. Another technique is to slowly wash or cleanse it away.

What did I react to so badly that I threw up a block like this? I also wondered if I would be able to unfo it if I couldn't trace it back. I will order the book. Order the book I have it and currently reading it, lots of great stuff in it. From your post I can tell you lack self esteem and second guess yourself. Right their is the first area to target trust in you and Gods authoerity and power. The mind is very powerful and if allowed you can cross yourself up. Then it takes time to unwind the nonsense and free you from it. Start with cleansing baths, use clarity products to see clearer and healing, crusible of courage , a honey jar on yourself for self love. Read pslams 23 everyday and tell yourself you deserve happiness wealth, love, friendship.

Thank you for your advice. I don't see it so much as a low self esteem. I tend to be a confident person. That being said, if my block is self-constructed, it is not an option and needs to be removed. I suppose I view it as kind of a .... "ok. Something happened and you didn't like the something so you threw up a wall to avoid truly dealing with it." To me, that is not acceptable. I face things. But I also have no interest in dwelling. My goal here is to eliminate the blockage and move forward. There is so much I could/should be doing. My interest in knowing where the block originated (to what did I react by erecting such a block) and face it, because it must be something I avoided dealing with before. I don't want to break through a block only to re-erect it. I am now in a position to order the book that was suggested and am excited about moving forward.

I am indeed in need of an open road. I have had all the best start in life, and after I met my husband and his family it is as if my life stopped progressing and since then it has been deteriorating. It is as if I keep hitting brick walls. I can't catch a break! It has been going on for years.

I assume it is my fault deep down, for letting it happen, but I don't dwel in the past. NOW what, is what I ask.

There is a lot of negative energy in my life through these people, to a point you wouldn't believe if I told you. Unless you also have to deal with such toxic, destructive people.

I want to stand on my own two feet and feel success and happiness within myself. I need to feel accompliched and, above all, depend on noone any more!

I'd appreciate any tips, because working on those people is secondary to breaking my own chains that keep holding me back. In fact I don't know what is holding me back...

I am a complete beginner: I have been reading for a while but never really done any work.

Hi everyone, I am new to this. I am trying to learn not to change my life. I've been stuck in this pool of bad luck almost my entire life. I am stuck in a job that is not taking me anywhere, my financial situation is really bad, I've lost custody of my children to someone who has abused me for years, I have no energy most of the time, I've become very forgetful (could be from the abuse) and I cannot remember 99 percent of my dreams, as soon as I wake up for a year now. Very sorry to read your post! It sounds like you may be crossed up. I would really suggest a reading even if its a short one. Also LM does the weekly radio station where you can call in and get a free reading and advise from some of the greatest workers of our time. that being said I would cleanse the house, cleanse you, pray to st michael to protect you. Basil is a cheap and effective herb to cleanse and protect so use it. the first goal is to become uncrossed, then protect you from it happening again. After that you would work into money conjure and even to get the kids back or a new love in your life. Id save up for the fiery wall of protection LM kit which comes with what you need to protect you and keep it off of you. chinese floor wash a great wash.. till then get some sea salt and make a strong bath with basil, or take a bath with a strong cup of coffee and pour it over you as you pray to be cleansed and remove the negative curse on you.

I am so sorry this is going on in your life. Geez, sounds alot like mine!
I agree with j82, you should def. begin to cleanse the house and in my opinion save up for an uncrossing kit as well. Take basil, mint, and rosemary-three cheap but EFFECTIVE herbs, make a tea out of it, and wash with that from your head DOWN. Its important you use the mint for mental clarity. I was told to spray diluted ammonia in the corners of my home, and that has helped tremendously as well.

the forgetfulness sounds alot like what happened to me, and it can be a side effect of post traumatic stress disorder. I Prayed to Jesus and work with St. Dymphna, if you are comfortable with saints you should try it. But please, I can tell you from experience, no amount of hoodoo or rootwork will get you to where you gotta be if your not taking steps in the mundane as well. So talk to your doctor about the forgetfulness, ptsd can develop symptoms due to an increase in stress (in my case) and you can start to disassociate. that is SCARY and you do NOT want to get to that point.

try to get on the radio show and have an emergency candle lit at MISC. half hr readings are inexpensive and worth it. also. if you have any talents (writing for example) art, whatever, try to sell that on the side. I was rock bottom and selling my work got me out of the hole, it was hard, trust me, I had NO ENERGY to do ANYTHING. but push yourself, you can do this. Greetings to all here. I have been wanting to learn hoodoo for a long time now and have been coming here and read some texts. I want to open a path to do this, but I this I should maybe start off with laying protection? My grandmother taught me brujeria when I was a kid but that was a long time ago and the main thing I remember was the egg lol. How should I start. I am at a position unfortunately where courses wouldn't work the best financially for me but but am willing to do what I'm able to procure any items I can. Anyone have any suggestions? might help to mention I live in the South where I may gather some stuff myself.

So I left my kids dad a year ago for using drugs I need to get back on my feet an want better I went to see someone an he said it's because he hired someone to make sure my life is not right as in money an not being happy so I will get back with him. What do I buy to get back on my feet. Since I left him I have not got any hours at work there is constant miss communication with my bank or set up payments with my utility an etc any help.

Miss aida, I have a question when I buy a block buster an road opener can I light then together or do they have to be in separate rooms. As well with the dimes I can do that but as for my house. Can I buy a reversal candle or will that cause more stress on me I heard that reversal candles were also negative an bring negative to the home.

Hmm, I'm discovering something quite interesting about taking spiritual baths. Has anyone else noticed that the spirits will wake your butt up when you're procrastinating on cleansing. Their favorite time to wake me seems to be between 3-4 a.m. : If I don't do what I'm supposed to, I'm up for the day. Take the bath & I get to go back to sleep (like a baby). No cutting corners for me

I am fairly new to the forum and have been looking around for several weeks learning. I am learning so much! I am completely new to hoodoo and - based on the responses of the seasoned practitioners to some questions - I have been reading way too much on the internet by people who are not as faithful to hoodoo and are re-creating it as they see fit. Because of that, I have a question… I will be completing the Look Me Over Spell and I plan on following it to the "T" and wish to get the best results. The part about the bath: air-drying: I have really dry skin and always have to put moisturizer on my skin after bathing. Could I use an unscented oil to moisturize my skin so as to not to interfere with the work (grape seed, hemp,…) or should I just suck it up and endure dry skin for the day? (I won't mind if this is the recommendation because I trust in Lucky Mojo products.) Could I add a bit of the Look Me Over oil to the carrier oil if one is permissible for me to use?

I look forward to your response(s)!

By the way, on the day the I received my order from LM, I noticed a ladybug on my window screen in my living room! That makes me happy!

Welcome to the forum! If you haven't already done so (and assuming you wish to), please introduce yourself in the Introductions thread.

This is a wonderful forum for learning about hoodoo practices and how to employ Lucky Mojo products in your spell work. I'm so glad you are finding it useful and informative.

The Look Me Over spell is fantastic and it is encouraging that you wish to follow it precisely for the best results. You should allow yourself to air dry after the bath, as this is traditional in all hoodoo bathing practices. After you are completely dry, you could add some of the Look Me Over oil to a base carrier oil like grapeseed, or to an unscented moisturizer, and moisturize yourself with it to tend to your dry skin. It would keep the energy of the spell going, and you could always consider that as a daily moisturizer afterwards.

I usually use an oil after I bathe, or add it to an unscented moisturizer. If I take the 13 Herb bath, I use Uncrossing or Protection oil after. It's important to apply the oils properly though. When I use Uncrossing I apply the oil so that I'm sending the energy outward; towards the hands for the arms / upper torso, towards the feet/ground for the legs / lower torso. You want to apply Look Me Over in an inward drawing motion, since you're drawing in attention.

I have a question about the disposal of bathwater at sunrise. That's not a problem at all at the moment - in my part of the world dawn is currently around 6am and the sun peeps over the horizon around 6.40am, so I can get up, take my bath, dispose of the water and leave for work by 7am. However, as we move towards winter, this will get later and later, and I will have to leave for work when it is still dark, and sunrise will happen while I'm sitting on a train during my long commute.

How do I go about managing this? I could restrict my baths to just weekends, when I am able to still stick to the traditions, but that would prevent me being able to take a series of baths if needed. Or I could dispose of the water before sunrise, but still to the east at a crossroads. Or I could take the baths, save up the water and dispose of all of it at sunrise on a weekend, I guess.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how best I can keep to the traditions in this situation?

What I do, and it's just me, is keep my baths to the same early time in the morning even in winter. My schedule doesn't always allow me to adjust the timing to match a later sunrise, so I end up doing my baths before sunrise in winter. I prefer this to saving up bathwater for disposal on a weekend.

I sure would be blessed if someone would volunteer to do blockbuster spell for me. Right now I don't have any income and will be homeless in a few days. I don't know if I'm cursed but everything has been falling apart in my life. It seems as all roads are blocked for me. I really need to get back on my feet quickly, I don't like to be a burden to anyone but I don't know what to do. Please pray for me too.
