Re: How to Use Petition Papers and Name Papers Questions and Answers
Hi Mnb0687,
The wording of your petition should suit your goal. If you want your boss to stop bothering you, then you could write something like "(Boss Name) will treat me with more respect and appreciation." If you want a raise, then something like "(Boss Name) will pay me more money for the work I do." You get the idea.
If you don't know their date of birth, you should still be OK. Try to get a photo at least, as it is a good personal concern.
Good luck.

Re: How to Use Petition Papers and Name Papers Questions and Answers
I think I've been doing it wrong all along...I have two questions...
For my petition/name papers, I have been writing my target's name and crossing mine on top of theirs after I've turned it 90 degrees. Then I've circled my command around the crossed names, never lifting the pen or breaking contact with the paper, so continuous unbroken writing. (I know this is specific for honey jars, but I just got into the habit of doing it for all my work and now it's just routine). I always do a name crossed over a name, never a command crossed over, the command circles around it. IS THAT WRONG OR A PROBLEM????
Secondly, I have been turning the name paper 90 degrees to cross my name over theirs and then folding it either towards me for love work or away from me for destruction work; however, I think I always turn it to the RIGHT 90 degrees and then cross the names, and I'm pretty certain I just read on a previous thread that I should be turning it to the LEFT for destruction work. IS THAT TRUE? HAVE I BEEN CONFUSING THE SPIRITS AND MY WORK BY TURNING IT THE WRONG DIRECTION FOR MY BREAK UP/DESTRUCTION WORK???
Thanks so much!!!!

Hello, Karma13,
Yes, turning the paper to the left is for negative work
To the right is for positive work.
I usually cross with my command. For example: "Love Miss Aida"
Did you confuse the Spirits? I cant answer that. Only Spirits can answer that. But, it looks like you may have to start the spell again.
Sorry!
take care

Thanks Miss Aida. Hopefully I did not confuse the spirits...my intentions are usually pretty strong so it's not like there's a question as to what kind of working I'm performing. And if I have to repeat the spell, well you live and learn!

Re: How to Use Petition Papers and Name Papers Questions and Answers
Thanks Miss Aida! I will be putting some Saint Francis candles out for helping my sick dog as well. I remember you saying in another post to someone though that you like to keep the petitions simple and short, or something like that. How will I word my petition to St Francis to help my dog? She's very elderly and took a bad stroke this morning. She vomited over the floor, her eyes keep rolling in her head and because she has heart troubles anyway it isn't helping. The vet said she can recover, or she may not. Right now she's sleeping peacefully on her bed but sadly was incontinent of urine earlier and we've had to spoon feed her dog food as she can't stand up. I can't write loads in my petition, so how can I allow Saint Francis to hear me and help her? Thanks!

Hello Nony65,
Something like "may [your dogs name) be healthy and whole", Or "may what is best for [your dogs name] happen" . Just write what you would like to happen. I hope she can recover but if she does not at least you know she is truly loved.
Peace~

Re: How to Use Petition Papers and Name Papers Questions and Answers
I probably should have asked this question before I actually lit my candle.... I wrote a petition with the benefits and type of job I wanted. I also printed a copy of the job posting and anointed them both. I only wrote my name 9 times across the job posting(90 degree angle) and of course folded them together towards me(1 inside the other) and placed them under the candle with a copy of my resume faced down. My question is did I do too much? Are is the okay?

Re: How to Use Petition Papers and Name Papers Questions and Answers
Hello everyone,
I'm getting ready to purchase a Run Devil Run Glass Vigil Candle to be lit by the MIS church. They ask for my petition, I want to make sure I do it correctly, can someone please provide guidance? I'm doing this for my sister as we believe she is being spiritually attacked (hag ridden to be exact.) Any guidance will be much appreciated. Blessings

Hello, lightofthesunca ,
Just tell them what you told us and they will take care of it.
But, tell them her name: "I'm doing this for my sister, __________ (<---her name) as we believe she is being spiritually attacked (hag ridden to be exact.)".
I wish your Sister the very best

Re: How to Use Petition Papers and Name Papers Questions and Answers
Today someone asked me how i would pray or write out a petition for a Break Up between two people. There is no one way to do it, but this was more or less what i prayed on behalf of the client:
"According to the wishes of (N.N.) and commensurate with God's will, may (X.X.) and (Y.Y.) be separated from this time onward! May they not speak, may they not touch, may they not have sex, may they not engage in business partnership! May they quarrel, fuss, and fight, fight, FIGHT, like dogs and cats, like day and night, like enemies and foes, until they BREAK UP their relationship and go their separate ways!" SLAM! SLAM! SLAM! (me slamming the candle on the table tree times, HARD) "And the Devil take them if they do not obey!"
That was today's Break Up petition, anyway. It felt pretty thorough.

Re: How to Use Petition Papers and Name Papers Questions and Answers
If I have MISC set a reversing vigil for me, will they inscribe the target's name onto the candle in reverse, and will they anoint both ends of the candle with an appropriate oil?
The process of selecting a reversing candle color and choosing an oil for my end of said candle is a little over my head, which is why I'm thinking about having MISC or a rootworker do it. Just wondering if MISC gets that involved in the dressing of candles, or if this is better suited for at home spellwork.

Hi misskitty49,
The good people at MISC are very involved in dressing candles so you can contact them directly and ask for what you wish to be done. They will do everything they can to accommodate you.
Good luck.

What's an effective petition for a stop gossip candle? As of late, my name has been in all kinds of foolishness that has nothing to do with me on the job. I wanna steer clear of the bs and have it miss me. Any help is appreciated.

Regarding a come to me spell: I was advised on another thread to write come to me 7 times on the candle and on a petition paper I should write my ex and my name and my wish all on 1 paper. OK so I understand I should cross his name with mine but where on the paper do I write my wish?

Hi TGCA1985,
You can encircle your names with your wish - keep it simple such as "come to me love me" or words to that effect. Write your wish in one stroke of your pen (do not lift it from the page) and that would be a good way of creating your petition.
Good luck.

Re: How to Use Petition Papers and Name Papers Questions and Answers
When dealing with gossip, i like to use as my petition this portion of Psalms 31, or highlights from it:
The portion:
[13] For I have heard the slander of many: fear was on every side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life.
[14] But I trusted in thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my God.
[15] My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.
[16] Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies' sake.
[17] Let me not be ashamed, O LORD; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave.
[18] Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.
Highlights for a small paper petition:
Let the lying lips [of Name] be put to silence!
Let the wicked be ashamed, and silent in the grave!
Deliver me from my enemies and save me for thy mercies' sake,
O Lord, my God. Amen.

Re: How to Use Petition Papers and Name Papers Questions and Answers
Hello, it has been awhile since I have asked a question in the forum, so here it goes.
I was wondering, when writing a petition paper, what does it mean to write a name at 'right angles' ? Or does this simply mean to turn it 90 degrees? Just want to make sure I understand.

Hi, lapwitch71 --
The cover of this book shows exactly what is meant -- and you are correct; the two sets of lines of writing are at right agles (90 degree angles) to one another (with or without encircling or square walls of words). By the way, there are dozens more forms of petition papers INSIDE the book:

Re: How to Use Petition Papers and Name Papers Questions and Answers
I am new to this. I bought a break up spell/vigil candle. My ex-boyfireind has recently come back into my life but his ex-girlfriend keeps cropping up. Can someone please advise how to write a petition for this candles use? I want her gone for good. Can it be a simple as: Please destroy the relationship be X and Y? How simple or complex should it be?
If someone could please provide me some examples on what kinds of things to write it would be very much appreciated.
Thank you!

Re: How to Use Petition Papers and Name Papers Questions and Answers
Good afternoon, yes it can be that simple or complex what ever you prefer. Some write his name going to you and hers going away to represent a break up then tear the paper in half and stick on opposite sides of the candle. Some write a petition like you said, put broke hearts in the corners tear drops, use red ink to represent anger, write birthdays next to the names. Example: if God wills it may the relationship between John Doe 10-10-95 and Jane doe 01-10-93 be completely and utterly destroyed may the love that once existed be replaced with anger and hatred. As the lord Jesus lives, may their relationship die!

Hello ghashang,
Check out the Spell Casting for Courage and Mastery During Job Interviews and Protection on the job From Difficult Co-Worker, Boss, Employee threads, as they do talk about this. Papa newt, thank you so much for replying, I had it down somewhere and forgot what is the best way to put the petition under the foot--only the other person's name or their name and my name crossed 9 times. I will purchase the book but this is tomorrow and emergency and I was hoping someone would give me some tips. This meeting was only arranged today for tomorrow otherwise I would have the book in my hands. Thank you for the other suggestions. I am looking through them now.

Re: How to Use Petition Papers and Name Papers Questions and Answers
Hey, i just ordered a reconciliation spell kit and plan on setting a reconciliation candle at the church as well as a st expedite candle to speed up the process. I have been reading for days and wa wondering if anyone has any further suggestions as far as maybe a 3rd candle to light. Along with my kit and candle i will be working a honey jar spell kit to sweeten her and her family back up to me. I need some help with petition statement for the church. Can anyone help? How specific should i be? I have soo much trust in the magic, but unsure exactly what to say to ensure an optimal petition statement. Thanks

How long does it usually take for the church to start the candles we order? Is it right away, or is there a waiting queue until there is space on the alter?

Re: How to Use Petition Papers and Name Papers Questions and Answers
Idk if this is against the rules and if it is i am sorry, but my petition paper was going to go somrthing like subject a and subject b will reconcile their differences as soon as possible so they can reestablish their lovomg and monogamous relationship with each other. It will allow them to rid of their issues and make reunite and return them to each other. Subject a eill forgive for his jealousy, anger, and shortcomings he has worked on by seeing the positive changes he has made. The couple will live happily ever after in marraige. Their love for each other will be stronger than ever. They shall never split again and get married to each other. Whaddya think? Im a tereible writer or i wouldnt have to ask...lol

Re: How to Use Petition Papers and Name Papers Questions and Answers
Not trying to hijack, but something came to my attention... I fear I didn't make my petitions clear enough for my candles... I realized I didn't include names or birthdays and gave very vague petitions such as "I desire this couple to break up, for their relationship to go up in flames" and left it at that... I think the "200 characters max" on the order form freaked me out a bit.
Is there a way to amend the petition? Should I e-mail the church, or call?

What's an effective petition for an Adam & Eve vigil candle? Also, if someone suddenly stops speaking to you out of nowhere, is there a vigil candle that can fix that? And bring about communication and the other party talking to you again?
Re: How to Use Petition Papers and Name Papers Questions and Answers

That is so awful when people suddenly stop talking to you. I am so sorry
I would go with a Mercury candle and ask them if they can sprinkle some deer's tongue herb on it.
Make ________ (<---target's name) contact and communicate with __________ (<---your name).
If you have the birthdates, that would even be better!
I hope this helps

Re: How to Use Petition Papers and Name Papers Questions and Answers
On dates March 4-15, 2015 someone started a thread titled "How to do a petition to remove bad people in my life". The response was to write the person's name 9 or 13 times & then cross the name with BANISH (and also HOT FOOT).
I, too, am trying to banish someone from my life. My question is: What to do with the name paper?
Would I put the name paper in my shoe? Or is there something else that I should do with it, like put it under a candle maybe?
(I have the book Paper in My Shoe, which is why I always jump to putting name papers in my shoe!) But if I were to put Hot Foot Oil on the name paper, I probably would not want to put that in my own shoe, right?

Hi Jess369,
If you are using Hot Foot products, I would avoid putting them in your own shoes. Instead, putting the petition under a candle and working that is a preferred way to go.
Good luck.

Oh my gosh, no! You need to understand that Hot Foot Powder is direct contact magic to send people away -- THEY step in it, not YOU!
See http://luckymojo.com/hotfoot.html
The use of Hot Foot Powder in a petition paper to drive someone away would be when doing INDIRECT (non-contact) magic -- such as candle work, a vinegar jar, a freezer spell, or the like.
Please read this page about laying tricks, throwing roots, and deploying spells. It ought to help you understand the situation more fundamentally:

A lot of Psalm spells call for parchment paper.
Can i substitute regular paper if parchment paper is unobtainable?
Sorry, if this is a stupid question but I am new to this type of magick.
Any help with this would be much appreciated
Thanks & Blessings to all!

Hello, ladydonna --
You can use any kind of paper you wish, but there are certain traditions in our work, and many people do prefer parchment paper. When you place an order with Lucky Mojo, you can request a piece of FREE parchment paper, you know. We send them out all the time.
Read this forum thread from page one onward to get lots of information from regular practitioners about how we work with papers.
Some folks use paper bag paper, some use stationery, cigarette paper, even aluminum foil to write on. I suggest you pick up a copy of my book, "Paper in My Shoe" and learn a lot about how to work with papers. It's only nine bucks. And you can ask for a free sheet of parchment paper when you order it! LOL!

There is no one way, VintageRapunzel. Hoodoo is not a set of rules like a game has -- it is a culturally transmitted way of working magic.
There are at least 50 or more ways to write a name paper for reconciliation. Do read this topic-thread, from page one right up to here, to get started.
Then, for nine bucks, you can buy a whole book on petition papers that will show you dozens of spells centered around written papers -- and that would help you more than me trying to guess which kind would be best for you. Read more about the book, which is called "Paper in My Shoe," here:

Re: How to Use Petition Papers and Name Papers Questions and Answers
I did paper magic to get rid of a stalker.
I wrote the stalker name 9 times and write "leave me alone" on the stalker name. Then put hot foot oil with separation oil and I put the oil on four corner on the paper but I did it counter-clockwise. Then I fold the paper away from me (fold the paper backwards). Then I did it again with counter-clockwise. Then I burn the paper. After that I heard my stalker in jail for a very long time because of his case on July of him harassment and rape also attempted robbery on his ex girlfriend.

Re: How to Use Petition Papers and Name Papers Questions and Answers
Hello LM,
In terms of a petition paper for a Blockbuster candle -
I am planning to write a petition that reads similar to one of these examples provided here: Remove all blockages that are preventing( X name) from loving me and committing to me. OR remove all the blockages from past hurt and fear that are preventing (his name) on giving himself to me (my name).
Should I be writing out my petitions similar to how I wrote my petitions for my love candles? Crossed names with my petition encircling the crossed names? Or does the paper have simply my intention written out and nothing more?
I just want to be as clear AS possible in order to get it right.
Thank you!

Should I be writing out my petitions similar to how I wrote my petitions for my love candles? Crossed names with my petition encircling the crossed names? Or does the paper have simply my intention written out and nothing more?
I just want to be as clear AS possible in order to get it right.
Thank you!

Re: How to Use Petition Papers and Name Papers Questions and Answers
Ah, Jenny Shan,
Your question is too small. There are HUNDREDS of ways to write out petitions, not just the two you wanted someone to choose between for you.
Imagine yourself in a great Italian restaurant, and there are 14 kinds of pasta to choose from, and you turn to me and ask, with all sincerity, "Should i have the linguini with clams or the capellini with musrooms?" I would just shake my head -- what about the rigatoni with marinara sauce or the spahetti with meatballs?
Petition papers are like that to me -- a long menu of temptingly varied methods and results. There are many ways to work, many flavours and textures, as it were.
But, to answer your short question: a Blockbuster petition would hardly be made like a love spell petition. A simple intention should be enough.

Hello Mnb0687
Good question, but i have to say that all depends on your intent.

Re: How to Use Petition Papers and Name Papers Questions and Answers
Hello,
I got some amazing advice from Elviyra on how to rid myself of negative thoughts and any possible curses a certain person and some unknown people may have put on me. The only thing I forgot to write down was weather or not to burn the petiotion papers that were under the candles (one for uncrossing the other for cut and clear). If not i may burn them as my intuition is telling me(since i cannot get a hole of Miss Elvyra at the moment being it is 12am) really need to do a road opening spell later tonight.
thank you in advance
Blessings

Hi P82,
I personally burn many of my petitions, especially the ones I l\place into my vigil candles. The energy is still there because energy can't be destroyed and can only be changed from one state to another. But in this case, this is Miss Elvyra's spell, so I recommend you wait and ask her directly.
Good Luck,
