I have a ... possibly stupid question regarding personal concerns, which may have been answered elsewhere but I haven't found the answer yet if so.

I've read that you can use someone's handwriting as a personal concern, and that their signature is the strongest form of that. However, if you don't have their signature, but you do have something else that they have written, does what they have written have any effect?

For example, if I have a piece of paper on which someone has written the word "Enjoy!" as a note that was attached to a gift they gave me, and I were to place this in a vinegar jar, would it:

a) sour their enjoyment in things, as it's their handwriting and their words?
b) sour any wishes they had for my enjoyment, as that was the original intent of the note?
c) make no difference at all to anything?

Same with other spells. Would putting something like that in a honey jar enhance enjoyment? I'm new to all of this and haven't quite gotten my head around how things fit together yet.

Hi terracotta,

the writing in the target's hand is used as a link in this case, the words they've used don't act as a petition. Here the writing acts to represent a part of themselves, their Spirit. So it shouldn't make a difference what they wrote. To create an even stronger connection to the target, print out a picture of the person and then wrap the handwritten note within it. No doubt other workers with more experience can chime in and clarify or correct my own response in order to best guide you!

I want to lay out a Barberry branch snare for a troublesome person to cross. (Or not!) I've heard old jobs to bar bad folks that call for laying the intended target's button in the center of an X made of Barberry branches. Said troublemaker gave my daughter a jacket, which daughter has not worn. Would you all still consider this the target's personal concern?
I can acquire other effects, just going with the button according to the old stuff...what would be your preferred personal concern in this case? From feces to foottrack, I've got access.
Goal: keeping the peace. Secondary goal: if necessary, Hotfoot troublemaker elsewhere, such as home w. her mommy and sick daddy.
I like quietude and stay home so as to avoid unpleasantness of the loud, recheck sort this bunch seems to run with. I believe in peace, but I really believe in peace and quiet.
I'd love to hear from fellow practitioners.

No, if she hasn't worn it then it is not a personal concern.

BUT....you can add a body fluid or something that belongs to the target to that button to make it a personal concern!

So.. I've been putting my hair and my ex's hair in love me vigil candles I've been burning. Occasionally our hairs would catch on fire. I just read on this forum that burning personal concerns will undo work. Is that the case? In the future should I avoid putting hair on the candle and just place in the petition underneath the candle instead

Put the hairs in a petition paper dressed with oil 5 spotted and wrapped to you 3 times. Prolly didnt undo the work but not a good sign to the work for it to burn up like they fighting the work hence it burned. pleace in petition and watch the signs.

She left with the ring? If it's an engagement ring: In the U.S.A., if you didn't give it to her on her birthday, Christmas, (or special holidays), it is legally yours.

Yes, you could put the box on your altar and try to summon for the wearer of the ring to return the ring to the box.

No, misskitty49, I shouldn't think so. For things like mojo bags and doll babies, I do much better with actual personal concerns from the body. I've done good candle work with photos, though.

I have a unwashed pair of my bf's underwear. But I need to give them back, because we'll their his favorite haha..anyway they are black and I can't see any fluid on them, can I soak the crotch area in some hot water to get his personal concerns, just like when I soak a dry tampon in a glass of hot water. Or will that not work?

Hey everyone! So the other week I had the opportunity to get the personal concerns of one of my targets and lets just say it was VERY VERY risky, but I threw caution to the wind and went about my way and I got it! Let's just say I collected enough personal concerns from this specific individual to last a lifetime! Moral of the story: If you want something bad enough get out there and go get it! (Within reason of course lol)

Hi,

I'm new here and could use some advice.

I am looking for something that will work to make a man love and commit to me. We have lots in common and are friends but he is very afraid of getting hurt after his previous relationship so he's basically told me he is trying to avoid falling for anyone.

Anyway we had a one night stand recently and I've realised I have the top I was wearing, that I put on right after. I wiped the semen off of myself with tissue but surely some must have rubbed off my skin and onto the top, even if it's just a small amount.

Is there anything that I can do with this?

Unfortunately, it wasn't his top and we are not sure if anything is on that top.

What about the tissue? Do you have the tissue?

If you do, you can work with that.

But, I wouldn't work with the top

I don't have the top but from a separate occasion I do have the bed sheets that we both slept in (although didn't have sex). These would contain the sweat of both of us. Would that be any good?

Good evening! I have been planning a trip to my targets home . I will be bringing a work file and ask if I could borrow his bathroom. I will have baby wipes, baggie and lint roller. My question is on the lint roller- how will I be able to get any hairs off the tape without damaging. Or is it better to save the sticky sheet and carefully cut it into squares. And what is the best way to store tape with hairs? Thank you.

Hello Arielsdream.

There are many ways to collect hair. The easiest way is to take it from a hair brush.

You can also collect it from a hair trimmer or razor.

If you are wanting to use a lint roller just leave it on the tape and cut it into sqaures is fine.

You could do as Thomask suggested and cut the tape, however you could also remove the hair from the lint roller using tweezers. Personally, I have gotten the best results from completely unadulterated personal concerrns.

I just ran my target's personal concern ( a single pubic hair) thru reconciliation incense and as I did so it sparked & singed half of it

I'm hoping this won't affect me using what tiny bit is left in any other workings I plan on doing. I saved the rest on a piece of duct tape. Can I still use it for more powerful results in this case or am I screwed? *face palm*

I just came back from my targets house. I csi'd his bathroom, have head hair, body hair and beard stubble. Some of the hairs are his childrens -I know by the length and color. What should I do with those? And how does one store these hairs? envelope? tape? thanks

I have a some coated paper - you know the kind that you'd peel a sticker off of.

I've taken to using a piece of cello tape to stick the hairs to and then I stick the tape to the coated paper. It's easy to remove the tape, and the hairs don't go anywhere. It's easy to store too - in a plastic bag, just in a drawer somewhere. It helps to then have a pair of tweezers to help get the hair off when you need it. I just label each piece of paper with the name of who the hairs belong to if I'm working with multiple people.

I've found this also is useful in seeing how much I have available for spells so I need to know if I will need to go scavenge for more.

I had to laugh at your description of using CSI tactics on your target's bathroom! Well done.

Personally, I do not like to involve children in spells.

For your target's hair, store it in an envelope. Don't store it on tape, as you want to use a clean, unadulterated sample for your work.

Hello Everyone,
I am almost ready to place my order for my layers of hoodoo work. As I gather supplies, I would like some clarification:
1. For the Break Up Kit, would empty soda cans that have been drank out of by the person, count as a personal concern?
2. Is one strand of hair sufficient for a personal concern? May I cut it into pieces for multiple Vinegar Jars?
This next one is a little explicit, so I apologize if anyone finds it offensive:
3. Oftentimes, my sweetie and I sneak to see each other (his current "girlfriend" broke us up with magic and is continuing to influence him with it), we have lots of oral intimacy; I always collect his semen in my mouth and spit
spit it out on the ground (we have nowhere to meet, but inside of his truck).
A. Can I take this semen and spit it in a container, to use with red ribbon to get him back to me forever or will my saliva somehow negatively impact this?
B. May I use his semen, from my mouth, for the Break Up Personal Concern or will my saliva cause a negative impact on me?
4. I have some of his pubic hairs, that I cut from him several months ago, but this was when the Evil Woman's work was at it's peak (I was depressed and suicidal from out separation and he had not forgiven me yet); does any of
this matter or shall I use fresh pubic or facial hair?

Hello everyone,
well my love and I had been chewing gum before going to bed together, he asked if I had a bin to put the gum in so I said I'd put it in the bin for him as well as mine.
Then after he left I realized " OMG DNA , I can use that for my spells !" So I quickly got it out of the bin ( sorry I know that sounds disgusting!) But I am not sure which one was his lol ! So can I use pieces of both in a sugar jar together and other spells ?

A sugar jar, maybe. But if you put your own in there, you are involving yourself in the effects of the spell, and you might prefer to keep your head clear.

And it's not strictly about DNA. It's more aligned to the doctrine of signatures; hair to affect thinking, toenail parings to make him "walk this way," sexual fluids to control his sex life. It's the law expressed in the doctrine of signatures that makes photograph work so popular and effective -- but personal concerns, having been actually PART of your target, are best -- because they're closest.

I would wait to collect his used chewing gum until next time.

mmachix, a sample of handwriting can definitely be used as a personal concern. It may be used as the base for a petition paper, it may be burned to ashes and added to powders, and so forth.

I recently got a hold of my target's chapstick and want to use it for some kind of enemy work. I plan on taking a chunk out of the chapstick and smearing it on my petition paper inside a doll baby or vinegar jar, but it looks like the chapstick has a sweet, fruity scent/flavor. It's also covered in pink/red lipstick. Will the sweetness of the chapstick (or even the color it has been stained) interfere with the nasty intent I am trying to put into my spell?

I have searched and I can't find this answer specifically.

I have done two spells that have not worked as I expected. If they impacted my targets, it was not obvious. But, that's fine... it's the long term results I'm after.

But, just yesterday, I realized that I have been using the wrong birthdate for one of my targets. I knew he was 2 years older than me, but I was using a birth year that was 3 years older. I had his hair and other personal concerns like handwriting and a picture. But, the birthdate I had written on his picture was wrong.

Could this have affected my spellwork? Could it have diminished the connection with my target that much that it would cause the spell to fail, or at least show lackluster results?

Yes it will diminish the effects of the spell.

It is better not to use a birthdate than to use the wrong one.

When in doubt, keep it out.

Hello! I was wondering what would I do with the personal concerns like hair as far as candle magick? I do know how to use bodily fluids in spells, but I have never used hair. Should I stuff it inside a candle? I am very proficient in spells for protection as well as foot track magick.

Hair is easy to obtain and convenient to use, I'd fold it into my petition paper and place under the candle.
