Hi, all!

Is it possible to receive messages via ceromancy pertaining to an aspect of life which has no direct or obvious relationship with why the candle is being burned? I'll elaborate: the candles I am burning are not for a particular spell; they are candles I burn nightly for spousal love. Is it possible to receive a symbol/shape pertaining to money from these red candles? Or could I disregard this symbol?

I would pay attention to all symbols in a candle as this could be Spirit sending you a message. Keep track of the signs you are getting. I find that sometimes it takes mundane results for me to look back and be able to interpret the signs I was given along the way.

I looked high & low on the link you gave me for the divination but unfortunatley it said nothing of what it means when burning a black free standing candle that has a high flame with tiny sparks that come off of the flame a few times during the burning. Can anyone help?

Hi, I have been burning some candles against an enemy seeking revenge. I've noticed that some candles have little black soot and some have black soot on the entire glass through and through. What are some explanations for this? Is it a good thing to have black soot throughout the candle for enemy work? Thank you very much.

Hello to all.

I recently received my mini honey jar and so far have lit three 4'' candles I followed the instruction as best i can and think i covered all bases. After preparing the honey I inscripted my desire on the candles - dress it with the oil and some of the herbs. Once lit, all three candles burned clean and pretty even all the way down. The flame was constantly high and strong with very little movement, no flickering or dancing. Once all of the wax was gone the flame each time continued to burn for an extra 20-30 minutes. I've looked online for answers to try and interpret as best i can but still not too sure about it. I know honey jars take some time but is there anythings specially i should be looking out for?

So I looked at the candle divination link and I can't find the information i need regarding my red lovers candle for return to me work. It appears that his flame was leaning towards mine for quite some time & his side has def burned down faster than my side. Are these good signs? Its also putting off a lot of wax on mostly his side. Both flames are strong & high. I knew there was a reason I loved working with lovers candles

Forgot to add to my last post that my flame kept going out while his stayed lit. His flame was burning into my side of the candle until his sides collapsed while mine stayed up. His side def burned down faster than mine but my flame is higher now that his side is lower. What does this mean? Good signs I'm hoping

I thank you for the link but I'm low on funds & can't find afford to purchase the book right now. I searched everywhere and can't find anything on how my red lovers candle burned. The fact that his burned faster than mine tells me that the work is affecting him more so than me.

Quick question: On my honey jar, for the first couple weeks there was a lot of dripping and such all down the sides and it was messy. For the last 2 weeks however, the candles have melted down astonishingly clean and just form sort of...sheets (?) of wax on the lid. I haven't found anything around to lend an interpretation. Would that just be a clean burn? Or is there a certain description/meaning for such perfect,even melts?

Hi,

My candle melted and produced what looks like a.... curling ribbon. As the candle was melting, it looked like the candle was unfolding but just one side. Like a calla lily. But as it kept burning, this calla lily "petal" just kept getting longer and longer. Now it looks like a curling ribbon. I can't find any reading divination on something like this. Weird huh? Any ideas?

Is it ok to fix the candle remains so that it burns clear? I have a honey jar and each time I burn a candle, I burn on a small lid on the honey jar. It often burns clear, but sometimes there are remains left. I always fix it so that it burns clear because I feel better that way. I know candle remains are meant for reading signs. But I just want a clear burning. I know one should leave it to fate but one should also change it for the better if it's possible right?

A root worker recently did a voodoo doll ritual for me...reconciliation and reunite of lost lover. She sent me pictures and said the two candles burned bright and steady but they burned slowly. She said that might mean an obstacle to my petition, but they were also bright and strong. She said she saw no other anomalies.
Any ideas on what that candle burning means?

Hello Group, I am wondering if anyone knows the meaning of a "well" or "Hollow" in a small candle in a glass holder? I have read the pages about common candle wax meanings and have even searched on line to find if there is a magickal belief or meaning to a candle burn like this. -The candle was for cleansing and uncrossing at work (the people, and the premises). The candle was an inexpensive, short glass-encased scented candle that I bought at a retailer. I chose this one because I wanted to burn it at work under the guise of being an aromatic or relaxation or aromatherapy type candle. Anyhow, it is a jar candle, not a pull-out or votive, but short and stubby

The candle burned at a normal height and steadily for about half the burn and then went to a low light, but still steady burn. It formed a "hollow" through the center of the candle, leaving a thick coating of unburned wax all around the jar. no black smoke, no soot, or other "negative" signs. - just "the wall" of wax around the outside. Otherwise, I feel the candles influence, slow and steady, same as it burns. What does the hollow mean? It kind of reminds me of how they say an "ideal" burn for a skull candle would be. - right down to the center, or just there about. I just bought the scented candle as a disguise and because I didn't think a candle with an open flame would be a good idea at work. I also didn't want a very large or conspicuous candle. But thank you for your reply. I figure it has to do with the location. The place where I work is built on an area with a lot of spiritual history. I figure that because I wanted to cleanse the place and the premises, that would be the reason. I can do a reading to find out. For now, I think I will just continue to run candles until I get a nicer, cleaner burn. Thanks again,

I have just started my honey jar on 11/4. It looks beautiful and I'm happy with how it looks. I was able to use local honey as well from our town. The red candles have been burning clean. I had a question about photo placement under the jar. Should the targets photo be face up or face down. And should I paperclip a photo of me on top of his? Like facing each other with mine on top? Put your target's photo face up. You can certainly put your photo on top. I personally add a drop of honey to "stick" the two photos together.

I'm doing a Break Up. Watching the candle burn has been entertaining.

The first day: the man's head almost melted completely off. Nothing on the female. Better remedy this!

Second day: Shook bottle till I got a cramp. Told the woman how much of a douche the man is. Man's side split in half. One side of man fell away from her while other still standing. Female STILL standing! She's a tough bitch.

Third day: Shook bottle till another cramp. Switched arms! Man's side is POURING wax everywhere but nowhere near the woman. At least he's not clingy. This guy is way too easy but I'm not complaining.

Fourth day: Upped the ante on the woman. Woman starts pouring! Yes! Finally! Her first squirt tried to cling to his wax puddle. That didn't last. Her head lopped off but her body continued to stand for a moment. Then a hole burnt in her crotch and she fell away from the man. It was a sight to see. Shortly after she fell, his half fell away from her. After concentrating on them being separated a twin flame appeared. I smirked on that one.

Can't wait to see how it goes tomorrow.

A quick question on candle signs in regards to specific works. I have a DUME due to some violent stalker behavior and it's been burning HIGH and has developed a large glowing not on the end of the wick.

My query is whether the presence of the knot and wild flame would technically be good in this instance as an obstacle is what I'm targeting.

Hello to all.

I have a question that i am very curious about. I am aware that candle divination are not provided on here or at least not to the fullest extent.

About a month ago i purchased a reconciliation honey jar from lucky mojo and also bought a bag of 4'' candles. I've been lighting the candle whenever I can for the past month. All the candles were dressed with reconciliation oil, kiss me oil and I recently added attraction oil to the mix all have burned clean with strong flames. Today I lit the very last candle (of 12) the flame was strong once again the flame was bouncy in a wavy type of way which has happened before. There is no wind or a breeze where i have it set up. what I did notice that was different was that the wax was dripping down the sides of the candle a little of the wax dripped down onto the candle holder but the majority of it just formed and stood on the sides.

Would this be viewed as a sign of something positive or negative?

Hello, Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong area. My first time trying to post a question in an existing thread.

What should we do if we are burning a candle (free standing) with LM oils and herbs and the flame is bright and strong even upto 3 inches sometimes but in physical reality the situation takes turn for the worse. E.g. If the candle is for peace n sweetness between 2 people it burns bright and strong but they keep fighting and suddenly turn bitter.If jinxes have been placed the flame would be weak, correct?
I've done some work in the past so I know if things are bad then the flame is weak so this is confusing me and I'm at a loss on my next steps..

Can someone please interpret/help if they've faced a similar situation before?

So, the situation that happened really has nothing to do with your spell.

I have been burning a glass encased 7 day candle to have my lover Come to Me. I was thinking of him yesterday and really began to cry hard because it's been a week of silence. I called his name several times telling him I cared for him and I am sorry for the ways I pushed him away. When I passed by candle I heard it hissing and sputtering. I've done candle conjure for over 10 years this was the loudest I've heard a candle. Not just pops but loud hissing almost how a train would sound in a tunnel! The candle is quiet now but I wonder what you would interpret that sound. Was his guardian angel listening to me?! Were Wes talking? Thanks in advance!

Hi all...I have been burning a skull candle with wonderful results and today was the day to let it burn out completely. It did so with a nice, even burn but as the wick went out, the herbs and my petition continued to burn and are still burning a few hours later, consuming all the wax left in my holder. Is it ok to let these remains burn until they naturally extinguish, even if they consume the wax remains of the skull, or should I snuff them out since the wick is no longer lit? I've read the candle page and I have cat's candle book as well but I can't find anything on the remains continuing to burn after the wick is gone. I just don't want to mess up what I know has been a thus far successful skull candle. I also apologize if I posted this in the wrong place but I did a search and couldn't find a similar problem. Thank you!

Hi amysx13,

I usually let the herbs and petition burn down until they're extinguished. Sometimes they can clear away the wax all on their own. Just because the wick is gone, you still have an active flame so let it continue to work for you.

Thank you Miss Athena! I did let it burn and when it finally went out all that was left was a tiny pile of ashes and no wax, its the cleanest burn I've ever had with a skull candle! I'm taking it as a good sign and burying the ashes. I feel so good about this spell

I have a honey jar that I started a few months ago and I wanted to add some love herbs to it just to amp it up...but I found the cork had swollen shut after I had anointed it with oils. I assume I can just dress the candles I burn over it with the same herbs,since I can't add them to the jar now? I also added said herbs to the envelope that contains our respective picture that I put the jar on.

So today I opted to put a full size taper onto my sweet jar instead of a chime. I put that candle up and lit it at 4pm.
It's down 5 inches,has a massive flame and there's no wax. Anywhere. I gave it a check and they aren't dripless or anything of the sort- run of the mill tapers.
I'm both flabbergasted and a little sad because what with the much larger candle, I set the whole deal in a cake pan with water and figured I'd see what some wax divination might yield. Zip,nada.

I would like to ask about setting of lights. When you did a setting of lights 5 times let´s just say revenge and all was good, but then on the last setting, that would be the 6th candles and the reading would turn out nothing. Will it affect all of the previous settings? Or do I need to light another one for that reason?

I really need some clarity about this.
