Lol thanks. I'm actually a health nut and I train 5 days a week. My diet and lifestyle are definitely not the issue here. I'm extremely active and in top shape. I just wanted a little extra reinforcement. Thanks for the advice ; )

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone have any particular spells to improve health? In particular my 2 main concerns:

1) to help a person who has diabetes - is there a spell that would help this person to become free from diabetes?
2) any way to get good eye sight back?

There are plenty of methods of cleaning from baths to washing down your house, to smoking your area etc. You can use hyssop and the 51st Pslam for purification, Chinese Floor Wash to wash down the house, or even a simple salt bath to clear out the negativity can be effective.

Do keep in mind that work must also be done in the mundane sense to achieve the most favorable results. The person you are working on behalf of can't sabotage his/her own well-being and expect to be magically healed. No doubt, such miracles probably have occurred before, but I wouldn't count on it. Diet, exercise and medication PLUS prayer and spellwork are the way to go. If you want to influence this person to take better care of himself you could always make a doll baby for this purpose. LM also makes a 7-11 Holy Miracle spell kit you could use on behalf of this person.

All the healing spells I know of personally are not traditional hoodoo and thus are off-topic here; however, if you would like to PM me, I would be happy to share the healing spells used in my family.

Hello All!

I am happy to have finally found a wonderful home that I'm moving into in January. After speaking with loving couple who have lived in it for about 15 years I realized how much they loved the place and are sad to be relocating.They happen to be long time friends of mine as well. They told me that the house has good vibes, good karma and I always get that sense when I'm there as well. It just feels good! Now, I know most people cleanse the space they are about to move into. In this case, should a cleansing still be done? Should I focus more on the blessing aspect or just leave the vibrations of the place as they are?

I would still cleanse it, but maybe not as harshly as I normally would a place that isn't so nicely charged. You still want to clear out the vestiges of those people, as even the world's nicest people have faults and qualities/habits/etc that may not be benficial or resonant with you own. You want to be able to freely put your own self into that nice space.

Do a gentle cleansing, and then yes, some Blessing work would be nice.

A few months ago, I had something happen to me, I wont go into what it was, except that it was embarrassing, defeating, frustrating, and depressing, and made me feel like I'll never be able to live it down (its an education/financial/employment issue), not to mention I know its going to have a major negative impact on my future. Its been weighing heavily on my mind ever since, and although I know there's nothing I can do to change it, I still cant help letting it eat me alive. The holidays have been a diversion, but I know once things get back to normal, I'll be in the same boat. My resources are kind of limited (my next order to LM wont be for some time, due to financial issues). Is there some type of ritual cleansing I should be doing? Saints I should invoke? Candles, herbs, prayers, etc? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would be doing regular cleansing baths for yourself. You might want to start out by doing 13 days worth. Also use that time to thoroughly cleanse your home spiritually. This will help clear away the heavy and negative energy that has likely built up around you over the past while. See how you feel after those 2 weeks.

You'll probably then want to start on some Healing work for yourself to help you get over the ties to that past situation.

Between the cleansings and the healing work for a few months you should be feeling alot better. Then would be a good time to start doing some drawing work to get more of what you feel you need into your life.

If you can at least afford to get Miss Cat's book "Hoodoo Herb and Root Magic" (I think it's less than $20), you will have hundreds of various recipes and spells that you can put together from the various ingredients listed.

I would recommend that you do a cleansing, and do a deep one. Then you should work with Saint dymphna she can help with depression. In addition, you need to do some healing work and probably a road opener to bring in some good things in your life.

It might be best to cleanse yourself first, purify, then do a bath for a specific objective like Road Opening, or Attraction. This way you create a clean-slate then work on building your objective.

Cleansing yourself is just like washing your clothes every week or if you have a lot of clothes at least every two. I think this is essential no matter what work you are doing. You should cleanse yourself and the space you are working on. Cleansing happens in many different forms however, if you have not cleansed yourself in a long time or at all even...then that might be hindering your work.

January 2007 my mother had a massive stroke and was in a coma for several months. She came out of the coma and has slowly gotten better. However, her vision is 10% in one eye and not too strong in the other, she no longer can walk on her own and her memory is in a constant state of flux. She doesn't always know who I am, where she is, the year, day etc... from one hour to the next.

My mother is a praying woman - and very gifted at prayer. She was making anointing oils and herbal concoctions before I fully understood what she was doing. I know that if it were me, she would be at my bedside everyday, dressing my forehead with oil and praying over me.

I want to do the same for her. But I am 3000 miles away from home right now, and I am not wealthy enough to fly back and forth. I want so much for her to make a full recovery. An honest-to-God, bonafide miracle is what I really need for her. For her to be 110% healthy - full vision, full memory, full muscular control - Perfectly Healthy! I want my mother back. I miss her. These are supposed to be the years that she and my dad enjoy the money they worked so hard to earn.

Please, If you have experienced success with any particular spells, oils etc in the area of strong healing let me know. I need a really strong 'something'. If there is a spirit or saint to that works relentlessly and is determined when it comes to healing (the way IS is determined to bring back a lover) please let me know.

I have been doing work for my love life - but maybe one of the keys to me letting that work go and manifest is to begin doing work for her.

You can also try St. Jude, who is the saint for desperate causes - he can work for healing as well. Dr. Jose Gregorio Hernandez is also a good choice.

Also, some workers have various kinds of spirits that work for them. Some work with spirits of healing, such as Buer from the Goetia. You could look for a worker with a strong working relationship with a spirit such as that, and have them work on your behalf. If you PM me I can provide you with the name of several such workers, as it's not necessarily a hoodoo thing, although some rootworkers do use such spirits.

Something else I thought of for you --since you can't be at her bedside to anoint your mother, perhaps you can anoint a prayer cloth to send to keep by her bedside. Also some holy water would be good. If someone in the household will work with you on this, that would be wondeful. Is there someone you can count on for support in the home?

Thank you all so much. You've given me an idea.

I am thinking to make a doll of my mother (or should I use a picture of her healthy and laughing) and surround her with images of all the Saints you mentioned. Like, a protective circle. Then make another circle around her with healing herbs ( I will look in the LM book - but if you know what I should use please let me know)
I guess then place the petition and name paper (should I write her name and then cross and cover it with the words full recovery?) under her or the candle?

Then light a candle for her each night (in what colors) and say the prayer of each respective Saint?

Any thoughts?

My mom has had to be in a nursing facility since everything happened, but my Father is there with her everyday. I could send the prayer cloth to him, but he might be reluctant to leave it there with her. Not wanting to leave anything in case someone takes it. I sent her three guardian angels for Christmas to watch over her but I think he keeps them at the house and she sees them when he brings her home for awhile during the day. What about sending a tiny little fountain to keep by her bed, and fill it with the holy water? I can see if my Father will maybe lightly wipe her face with the water before bed?

I'm going to visit in a couple of months.

A beloved friend has had a stroke, an old man with some other health issues. He is someone whose friendship helped me get through my year of mourning when my dad died in 2007.

I will have candles set at Lucky Mojo but wondered if anyone has any thoughts about anything I could also do.

You can also burn a healing candle yourself or petition St. Jude to help your friend. Since this person is close to you, I would suggest you do some healing work on yourself as well. The Healing Miracle Candle is great as its purpose is to bring comfort, healing and rest to those who are sick. I think there is another St. Dr. Jose Gregorio Heranadez, I have read in the forum that he is petitioned for healing miracles. That's a good idea for Dr. Jose Gregorio, I wouldn't have thought of that, thank you. I will have that set today. St. Jude is for lost causes-- I hope it's not so bad as that yet-- he's 80 though and it could be. A healing candle on myself is a good idea too, kind of like on the plane put the mask on you before aiding the children, I probably need to center before I can be strong with my work.

I currently reside at home with four other relatives. My family already has some idea of my practice/interest in Hoodoo, although it's more a "don't ask, don't tell" situation in our household. I would like to do a thorough spiritual house cleanse, but was wondering how this would be possible. Firstly, I think It would seem a bit odd to my relatives that I'm cleaning their bedrooms. Secondly, lighting a white candle after cleaning each room, as one is supposed to do with spiritual cleaning, would look too suspicious even if I was able to clean all of the bedrooms. My question: is there an alternative to cleaning an entire house when one doesn't have access to all of the rooms?

Cleaning can take on different forms. If you don't have the access you like to thoroughly wash a house look to alternative means of cleansing. For example Chinese Wash is usually added to a bucket of water and then used to scrub walls, floors, and windows. Instead try putting it into a spray bottle and gently spraying each rooms floors, this helps also in areas of carpet. Finally, you can burn a single candle in the center of the house along side a bundle of sage that you can use to smoke your house and help purify it. Adding a bit of FWP oil along with Chinese Floor Was into your spray bottle will purify and protect the house without needing to actually scrub every inch of your relatives walls and doors.

You can also lay down some sneaky tricks like adding condition oils and crystals to the various cleaning products used in your house, pray over them and then have a clean house day with all the relatives pitching in. They can go about the mundane act of cleaning without even realizing that they are using spiritual products to also spiritually cleanse the house. Also adding those products to detergent will get them to cleanse their rooms when they do the laundry.

Ok guys and gals.....i have hyssop herbs and i have rue soap. I saw something about a hyssop tea bath, then i saw some salt baths and rue baths. Can/do i mix this all up. In what order do i do what? Thinking of saying the 23rd psalm while bathing. I also have spikenard herbs(dont know if i can bath with that). I have never done a cleansing bath before so please tell me, with the stuff that i already have, how to do it. Oh and i have some road opener incense. Don't know if that would help.

Hyssop and rue make a really great cleansing combination. Hyssop cleanses negativity you brought on yourself, and rue cleanses negativity that came from others. I would get rue herb, mix it with the hyssop herb make a tea and then add that tea to a bath to which you've added some salt. That would make a really nice 3-ingredient cleansing bath.

Spikenard is a love herb, so I wouldn't use it in a cleansing bath.

I don't think so. Bathing is a very personal thing. Do a Break Up or Separation spell.

Thanks HD. I didn't think you could but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. I did a freezer spell for my brother and the people he's working with and when I order gets here I will start on a seperation spell. Thanks for the suggestions.

Make up some wash water with the Chinese Wash and use that to wash the floors of your house from the from the back out. Then was inwards with Blessing, Money Drawing, Attraction, or House Blessing bath crystals. Through the old wash water to the crossroads.

Hi Everyone,

I am new to Hoodoo so excuse my ignorance... I have been recommened to do a 13-herb bath for 3 days, but just to be thorough was also thinking about maybe doing a Chinese Wash:
1.) Can I just use a part of my saved-up bath water from the 13-herb bath to also cleanse my apartment?
2.) If so, when would I 'walk between the 2 white candles,' after the bath (in the bathroom) or after I am done with both (at my front door)?
3.) If you agree that I should do both to be thorough, then how would I go about it... After my bath would I walk between the 2 white candles carrying the saved up bath water, put it outside.... do the Chinese Wash around my apartment, and then walk both left-overs to a crossroad at the same time (the nearest crossroad is about 30 mins. from my apartment, as I am pretty sure a T-crossing would not count)?
4.) Either ways when am I suppose to anoint myself... after my bath & before I do the apartment cleansing, OR after I sprinkle some urine/ cinnamon/ salt mixture on the path to my front door (or Attraction & Van Van Oil, for drawing work) on my way back from the crossroads & get back in my apartment?

so I had the most marvelous reading with Ms. Cat! I love her! Anywho she confirmed my worries that work was done on my soulmate and the person who did it wanted me out of the way, though our bond is a deep one we always come back to eachother some how. she said he needs severe cleansing and I have a lot of work to do. Just the thought of it is exhausting but maybe if I take it on like a fun project it wont be so overwhelming. I am planning on doing some reversing candles and return to me candles fixed by LM and getting the 13 herb bath for myself since it doesnt hurt to also cleanse myself. But what can I do to cleanse him since he is in another state currently? This seems like some heavy cleansing that needs to be done so I am wondering how Ill pull that off from here though Ms. Cat said I have a gift for this which I am so happy to hear but I need some direction how to go about things now.

oh another thing, she mentioned I could burn them silmuntaneously but I usually work according to the moon phases so I am confused if thats ok to do because for reversal i would have to do it during Waning period and for attracting i would have to do it during waxing so Im scared if i do both at the same time one of them wont work. Idealy I would like to do them both together so they work together, but can I? will that effect the reulst of one of the candles?

Cleansing can also be done during the waning period of the moon if you work with moon phases. As the moon wanes, you ask for the condition to be removed.

For long distance healing and cleansing you can work with a doll baby that you cleanse by anoint with oils, or perform an egg cleansing on. Some people have even used a doll baby to perform a full bath. You can even place an egg that you've prayed over on his picture over night to help remove some of that negativity. Try taking a figure candle, baptizing it and working an uncrossing and cleansing on it for a course of days.

You can also send him a sneaky gift basket with soaps and shampoos that you've snuck cleansing and uncrossing products into.

I got the dressed reversed candle that I plan to use with a dressed return to me and some banishing, uncrossing and reversing oils along with FWP and others. can i anoint the doll with these you think? i will definitelly do that Egg cleansing! its my fave to do on myself as well.

Cleanse your apartment back to front with Chinese Wash first.

Then, with your apartment purified, you can begin a series of baths before dawn the next day. Anoint yourself before going to the crossroads, then sprinkle the drawing mixture upon your return.
