Laundering and Ironing with Lucky Mojo Baths Washes Waters Questions and Answers
Laundering and Ironing with Lucky Mojo Baths Washes Waters Questions and Answers
Hello All:
I was just reading HHRM and came upon a receptied that I want to use and it said to soak and add to rinse water when washing my mates underwear, here is the problem - he goes comando - so would it be just as effective if I used it while washing his socks? Any feed back would be great. I looked but could not find anything.
Thanks for your help - Marie

Yes, that would be fine. You can dress all their laundry that way.

I always add a few drops of oil to the laundry. I use liquid soap with no perfume or dye so it won't interfere. For family laundry, House Blessing, Wealthy Way, Cast Off Evil, or Compelling (if they won't listen to me!). For sheets and blankets that my husband and I sleep on, a love oil. For the pets' blankets and bedding, St. Martin de Porres.
You could also wash items by hand and add some oil to the water.

I add Chinese wash to the wash and protection and drawing oils to the rinse. I normally purchase a dye free, all natural liquid laundry soaps and dress them appropriately.

You could always just do it to his pants instead of his underwear. The pants are in contact with the same parts of him that the underwear would be.

What can I add to the spray water as I am ironing my man's clothes to make my man more devoted, faithful, and loving to me? Of course, I want him to love me so much he won't be able to live without me ♥ So...all this plus marriage eventually. I am already going to add Chuparosa and Fire of Love oils (that's all I have right now) to the dryer sheets.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I would not add the oils. Work with bath crystals. The oils (love them) but they can stain clothing. The bath crystals are the way to go for the wash, dry and process of ironing. (oil and spray bottles don't mix, bath crystals do)
Good Luck!

If you want to use oils, add a few drops to the laundry detergent and use a liquid detergent free from dyes or perfumes.

Thank you! I will order Stay With Me bath crystal for the wash and to add to the spray water. Good idea Mama Micki on adding a drop or two to the laundry detergent! Thank you also Miss Tammie Lee.

Ok, I have my liquid laundry detergent. It is about one gallon in size, dye and perfume free. I was wondering something. I want to add one (two, three?) drops of Chuparrosa and Fire of Love oil drops to the bottle that way it is fixed for every time I do his laundry. My question: I noticed that these oils have a pink, red tint to them. Will they stain his shirts or will the color dissolve when I add it to the detergent? That is why I am leery of adding too many drops. Thank you for your advice!
PS. I also am going to add Stay With Me bath crystals to the rinse cycle AND to the spray bottle when I iron the shirts. ♥

Update: The oils did not stain the laundry. I added about 7 drops total to the dye/fragrance free liquid detergent.

Yep--I use oils in my laundry soap all the time and I have never had a problem with staining! Keeps the family healthy, protected, and successful!

I'm sorry if this is an inappropriate question, but which salt is used as a base in the LM bath salts?
Like, magnesium sulfate/Epsom, or sodium chloride, or something else?
I have a water quality problem and have to use very specific cleaning solutions and water conditioners when doing laundry, etc.
It would help to know what chemical is used so I know whether or not I can add these to my laundry wash.
Thank you.

Can someone elabortate on how to use the bath crystals if you have a regular, front-loading washer? The door locks for the cycle so soap and such is added at the beginning - or would it all get washed away? I'd appreciate any input.

Hello Naexis,
Are you talking about the front loaders you tend to find in laundry mats? They usually have a couple different spaces for you to put soap in. You would just need to ask which slot is used for the rinse cycle. It is the same one most people put fabric softener in. I have also wondered if you one could put the water with the conditioning bath salts into one of those fabric softening balls in order for it to release at the right time. That may work as well! Hope this is helpful!
Peace~

I've since figured out how to treat my laundry (thank you natstein) and I'm curious how long a washing is good for, magically speaking? For example: if I washed some sheets with Chuparrosa today, put them in the linen closet and took them out next week, would they be just as potent? Opinions are appreciated. xD

That's a good question. I would presume as long as they smelled fresh and nice, they would still be good to use and retain something of what was laundered into them. .

When adding crystals to rinse water does a prayer or anything need to be said? Or just state your petition as you drop the crystals?
Thank you St. Jude! Your help was much appreciated!

If you work with prayer regularly, you would be naturally inclined to pray. If you are primarily secular, your petition would be secular.
Good luck.

Something I picked up from my Granny is putting a small splash of white vinegar into my laundry. I'm not sure what magical properties vinegar may contribute, but it does help things come out fresh and crisp. Anyone else hoodoo-up their laundry with household items?
Re: Laundering and Ironing with Lucky Mojo Baths Washes Waters Questions and Answers
Household items are commonly used in Hoodoo. Vinegar, ammonia, salt, pepper, the list goes on.

Laundering with spiritual supplies is one of the oldest and best of the many sneaky tricks found in hoodoo -- which just happens to be the title of an upcoming workshop that Miss Michaele will be teaching at this year's Hoodoo Heritage Festival via Zoom, June 10th and 11th, 2023.
