Look Ma, it's dial-up friendly!!
If you were having problems with the password url I sent earlier, copy and
past http://69.9.32.186:9818 <http://69.9.32.186:9818/> into your media
player open file dialog box or go to
http://ny01.mediacast1.com:9818/index.html and click on the Listen link at
the top of the page. Again, this stream can be used with a dial-up modem and
almost any media player like Winamp, Real Player, iTunes and Music Match. I
am not sure if Windows Media will play .pls extensions. I think version 10
will, but don't quote me on that.

Thank you Dr.Kioni. As someone with
dial up, it's good to hear your program.
Will you also have the hoodoo radio
show archives on this format?
Be Well
Phil
(I econd your gratitude, Phil. Until last year i too had only a dial up connection, due to my rural location. The truth is, many folks who practice rootwork are rural, poor, or not technologically adept, and thus lag a bit behind the national average when it comes to refinements of computerhardware and software. Making the show archives "backward compatible" is an important part of Dr. Kioni's mission, for which i am extremely grateful. As for the old hoodoo rootwork radio show archives being available for dial up -- all it takes to get the job done is time and money -- and you all know where to send your love-gift -- send it to DR. KIONI! You will not only be helping yourself but all the other people who want to reap the benefits of this knowledge and can't afford to pay for the latest and greatest computers and internet access. If this were a church Sunday, i would be sending the little boys down the aisles now with their baskets -- but, guess what? -- even though it is a regular working Thursday, Dr. Kioni has a Paypal account -- so you can wire him a modest donation TODAY! --cat)
