How to Use Sachet Powders: Questions and Answers
Re: How to Use Sachet Powders: Questions and Answers
There are literally thousands of methods to lay tricks; dust a letter, dust anything you think the person may touch. Just be creative, if the target lives with you put it in shower (just a little), shower gels, door knobs, I mean the list goes on....dust car seats, dust TV guide (smile).

You've got all the common method of using powders mentioned, but remember they can be used in the actual conjure itself to create designs, circle things, create a crossroads etc.

Re: How to Use Sachet Powders: Questions and Answers
I am writing to my husband who is in basic training in Georgia for infantry. Ima lonely wife here until Late May. I want to make sure that we are able to communicate and communicate well while he is away because I heard that the army likes to break down soldiers to make them into machines. Sorry, getting political. I want to know how to dress a letter to keep his love for me strong and to make sure that all is well with our relationship during this time. What do I use for love and to keep the attraction there? I am also worried about deployments after he graduates. Would I be fighting a greater force(the military) if I did a work that would keep him at home for at least a few months before he is sent out? Or something to shorten the deployments? Heck, I wish I could impact the ppl in afghanistan to stop this war! Ne help is appreciated.

Re: How to Use Sachet Powders: Questions and Answers
I would dress the letter lightly with some fire of love and stay with me powder. This will help him stay faithful to you, and keep the fire burning between the both of you. As for the deployments after he graduates, well it seems that the deployments are inevitable and are going to happen no matter what. However, you could do some master/power work to increase his power, and have the ability to stay home. I would sprinkle some five finger grass in the candle as well so that a special favor will be granted, and perhaps some good luck oil to see that he is lucky enough to be looked over, and perhaps can stay home for a few more months. I would do this on a purple or yellow candle. Or you can get a while male figure candle, put it in the middle, and surround the candle with yellow and purple candles dressed with the previously mentioned oils.
If you know perhaps someone that came be influenced to help give him a shorter time, then I would do that as well.

Hello to the forum
I had a few questions about some products I ordered.
1.Lets say you have a several sachet powders all different, but they basically go towards achieving the same goal(i.e. games of chance, house blessing etc.) can you combine them in that case?
2. Now Ive sprinkled a powder on a document is it reusable or no? Is it reusable maybe not to sprinkle on paper but in another way?
3. How often do I employ the benefits of my sachet powders daily weekly etc.
Thanks in Advance!

Re: How to Use Sachet Powders: Questions and Answers
I see no problem with capturing the excess powder and reusing it for works of a positive nature, like dressing money or documents pertaining to the drawing of good fortune or general good luck. You can combine complementary sachet powders, for example, Attraction + Money House Blessing to draw good luck and prosperity to your home or Attraction + Love Me to increase your desirability to the object of your affection. If you chose to re-use these combined powders after sprinkling them on papers, be sure to label them accordingly.
How often to use the powders depends on the work being done. Some folks like to dress themselves daily. Others dress their money on payday, important documents and such. People will lay out protective powders in a five spot in each room of their home, or powders specific to their goal in the room where they do most of their conjure. Candles can be dressed with condition oil then rolled in powder for added emphasis, this is referred to as "double dressing." Sachet powders find their way into all kinds of sneaky tricks and are one of the most versatile tools a conjurer has!
It is ultimately up to you how often to use the powders and in what context. Play around and find what works for you; at only $4 per package and with many applications and uses in each package, sachet powders are an affordable and useful addition to all your conjure work.
Good luck,
Michelle

Re: How to Use Sachet Powders: Questions and Answers
Come to Me spell kit has me make an 8pointed star with the powder the first day. Are you suppose to redo the star every day or attempt to keep the powder formed like a star and hidden away some place so you can use it the next 7 days? Is it ok to clean up the powder every night..save it in the disposal container that I am suppose to bury and redo the powder-star every evening until the work is done? Is it a big deal if the star is pretty wonky looking?

See this page for a picture of exactly this forms of star:
http://readersandrootworkers.org/index. ... ._Johannes
It's the 5th image down on the right hand side of the page.
Moat people would leave it out on the altar for all seven days -- but if you must hide it, then re-make it each time.

Wow, wish I'd seen that when I did my Come to Me spell-- but it was one of the first LM things I did and I didn't know what I was doing at all yet, didn't have an icnense burner or candleholders or anything!
I love the Fiery Wall of Protection altar. I think I need to do that...

Re: How to Use Sachet Powders: Questions and Answers
I was wondering if any one had ever used LM products to make an important party/occasion successful..This is my boys' ( my stepsons) big event (almost like a bar mitzvah), and I want it to be special for them. Their mom has threatened to sabotage it by telling our mutual friends to not show up and make my husband and I look like a failure...I will be sending out the invites today and was wondering if i could dress them in such a way as to make people want to come, and participate as fully as possible..
strange request I know , but its really important to us..please advise if you think of something...

Attraction powder would also be a good choice to dust the invitations with. You actually could use the Attraction spell kit to make sure that he has lots of people in attendance. Dusting the invitations as part of that larger spell would be a nice touch.

If you like working by the moon, wait until the waxing moon to send the invitations, as people are more likely to "miss" invites that go out during a waning moon.

Re: How to Use Sachet Powders: Questions and Answers
Yeah I was a mess the first day! I had pill bottle caps for candle holders - yeh, that didn't work out so well. I left the paper around the incense cones. I can't for the life of me figure out how those perfect incense cones are formed. Mine always fall apart! My first 8 pointed star was miserable looking. Then oil got in the powder and it looked like barbie barfed on my tray! The next day my candle holders arrived and my life got a whole lot easier without having to do the candle balancing act. I think I got sprinkling the star down pretty good now. I need a bigger tray. The one I have is the top of one of those breakfast in bed trays but it's pretty cramped. I want something bigger -- anybody have any ideas where to get a BIG tray?

If you cant' find a big baking tray, then just use foil. I like to cover my entire table or whatever with foil. You may have to use several sheets of foil, but cookie baking sheets are your best friend when it comes to doing this and burning candles. As for bottle caps that's not a bad idea as long as they are metal and not plastic. :p

Sugar lumps and loadstones placed at each corner of the building (outside preferably). Place them there seven or three days prior to the party. Also burn some Crown of Success incense before the party. I usually have some Cinnamon & Allspice (50-50 mix) burning at all partys. It makes people get along very nicely and enjoy themselves.

Re: How to Use Sachet Powders: Questions and Answers
I have a quick question. I bought several formulated powders cause in honesty they were a trifle more affordable for my budget.
I have tons of colored candles big and small and I was wondering how do I dress a candle with say Money Stay With Me & Crown of Success powders meaning...do I dress my candle with castor oil and then mix the 2 powders together and roll it on to the castor oiled up candle??? Or will that kill my petition to get a job & some income coming in for me? I don't want to destroy those wonderful powders energies before I even get them delivered to my home
I would like to know what oil I can use (that is not going to cancel off the energy or power of these powders I ordered)??? I read in a few books that castor oil or olive oil is safe to use as base.
Can anyone help me out here? Thank you for any and all advice.

Re: How to Use Sachet Powders: Questions and Answers
kechara,
There is no reason to use Castor Oil in the type of candle magic you propose to do. It is a strong laxative that verges on being a poison. It makes things -- love, money, whatever -- "run out." This is the OPPOSITE of your "Money Stay With Me" goal.
Use Olive Oil, as it is the basis for the Holy Oil of the Bible. Recite the 23rd Psalm over it before use.
You can blend, sprinkle, dust, or blow the powders lightly to the oiled candles.
I seriously suggest that you think things through, don't believe everything you read on the web -- and when you do read about the use of an ingredient that you are not sure about, please do not mindlessly substitute it for another ingredient -- you may be working at cross-purposes.
Do you have a copy of my book "Hoodoo Herb and Root magic"? If not, please do get it, as it will save you some costly mistakes and a lot of wasted effort.

Olive, Mineral or Almond oils are more commonly used in Hoodoo as carrier oils with olive oil trumping as it is used to bless and anoint.

I see what your saying Catherine, about the castor oil. Good plain olive oil it is. So embarassed but I'm glad I asked.
Catherine I just made a bit of bulky purchase a few days ago so I'm going to have to get that book in the future
when I can get a job and some extra funds to do so. Just used up my funds for my first LM purchase of products
And I always revert back to the forum when I am in need of any questions I need answering. Sorry for being such a newbie at this hoodoo work is a whole new world for me is all, just need to go slow with all this.
Thank you

Hello all,
I'm not sure if this is the proper category within the forum to post these questions as they cover several areas, but here goes.
Without getting into the specifics of my works in progress, as after all silence is golden, certain questions
regarding the minutae of conjure have come up. I've searched and been reading this forum for hours on end for the last 2 weeks looking for answer, and nada. So here goes...
1) When you've laid down powders across someone's path, or laid down oil on their car door handle, is once enough to connect them with your working? Or is it a case of the more the merrier?
2) When it comes to deployment of powders with earth mixed in to hide the powers if you use them outside, how long are they effective for?
3) What happens if it rains and the whole lot gets wet, is its effectiveness affected in anyway, or is it amplified due to the fact that it would stick to the bottom of their footwear now?
Thank you all in advance for your paractical wisom and help!

1) I try to get them in contact with the condition product as often as possible until the petition is granted.
2) Until they blow away, or otherwise are no longer present due to traffic or weather.
3) I wouldn't think it would make it MORE effective. MORE powder on them isn't better or stronger necessarily.

Re: How to Use Sachet Powders: Questions and Answers
In my opinion once the person has come in contact with your powder you've "infected" them. For example, if I am doing a hotfoot, I'll lay down the powder in the front of their house and that's it. I don't go and lay more. However, the target will walk on that path over and over, and each time they do it's like the heat is building
. The only time I'll lay more down is if divination indicates that I need to.
As for rain, water is not sufficient to clear out a mess if you've laid one. They'd have to spiritually cleanse the area. You still want to ensure that the person walk on, over, or near your trick.
Lay your powders down and pray your desire then let the powders work their magic.

Thank you j82, ConjureMan and Devi for your wisdom,
in the particular case I'm working I'm limited to anointing the targets car door handle and laying a bit of powder outside the targets car on non windy days so the victim has to step over it while they get in. The reason I asked was because I wasnt sure how the elements would affect the oils/trick I've been placing on the victims car door handle as I've be making sure to reannoint if they washed it or its been raining. Also in regards to laying powders the target works in a hospital where I've been laying powders at the exit/entrance to their ward everytime I work because for a fact I know they wash/sanitize the floors every morning and thought that that would neutralize the powders.

Sebastien,
Your idea of renewing the powders is correct -- once they are washed away they are gone. Stepping "over" them is not the best or strongest thing you should be looking for, though -- the target should step IN them.
Read this "Hoodoo in Theory and Practice" page i wrote about "Foot Track Magic" to get a clear idea of why we want the target to step in the powders.:

Good luck!

Re: How to Use Sachet Powders: Questions and Answers
Yesterday morning I actually laid down tricks in front of my boyfriend and he stepped right in them as I asked him to do. He was in the shower and I put some EOB and Love Me on the towel he was going to step on when he got out. I said step right there on that powder and he did. He knows I am laying tricks on him and seems to just go along willingly. The only one I am NOT telling him about is the use of my menstrual fluid which I have only done once. Maybe he just doesnt believe? Or maybe since we have known each other since high school (graduated in '84) and dated off and on thru the years he just trusts me? Either way I love it! And since I am using LM products I have no doubt that what I am seeking in this relationship I will certainly obtain. And the reading that Miss Bri gave me told me that we are perfect for each other.
Anyway- Sorry to post so long, kinda just wanted to share and to say THANKS to Miss Cat and Miss Bri and everyone else on here. Thanks for the wonderful products as well!
*edit* OR maybe its the EOB WORKING! oh my as I read over my post I laughed because it appears that it is working! lol Ofcourse I will use that gently as I really do love this man...

This was a great question. Conjureman you provided just the answer that I'm looking for. I'm considering a doing hotfoot on some neighbors who like to play very loud music at all hours of the day and night despite the fact that I've complained to the building management and they have been spoken to about this.
I'm going to add hotfoot powder to my next order!

It's a modern twist on foot-track magic. It seems to have worked well for many, especially in hot-foot, break-up, and crossing work.

Re: How to Use Sachet Powders: Questions and Answers
hey all. still fine tuning my order. now im working on adding sachet powders into it. so i have to pick the most important ones but i have to ask. how important is it to have powders on candle spells? must it be used everytime to ensure maximum effectiveness in having a spell be sucessful(god willing)?

That is a personal choice. Some workers cleanse, dress with oil alone or with oil and herbs alone or with. The addition of sachet powders enhances in my opinion but I do not apply it each time.

wraithklewn,
Powdering candles is not essential, but it is particularly popular among women workers. The other uses of sachet powders are (1) to dress papers, so they won't be stained (as they would with oil), (2) to dress one's body or wear as a bosom sachet, (3) to mix with dirt and sprinkle on the ground for people to contact, (4) to keep in a sachet packet to scent one's lingerie, etc. .
See much more about the use of powders here:

Re: How to Use Sachet Powders: Questions and Answers
Dress papers with them.
Dress oiled candles with them.
Lay tricks for him to walk over with them.
Draw out designs o your altar with them.
Mix them into his personal body powder(s).
Dust yourself with them.
The list gos on and on and on.
I suggest you read these free "Hoodoo in Theory and Practice" web pages to get an idea as to how powders and dusts are used in rootwork.

Sachet powders are good to sprinkle on your bathroom floor as they look like a Talcum powder spillage, but don’t leave it in one small area as it will be natural to just step over it, spread it out a bit without going too mad a little may go a long way.

Everyone is different I would say that you should follow what you feel is right.
The powders begin to work when they are stepped in.
Have you read Miss Cats online book on foot track magic, I believe it explains there about speaking out your intent as you sprinkle the powder and also about walking backwards as you lay your powder.

Re: How to Use Sachet Powders: Questions and Answers
I want to touch on this point. Stars is absolutely correct. As long as the target comes in contact with the powder, that's all that is needed. I have used it to put on doorknobs, papers, computer keyboard, silverware handles, anything that someone touches and holds. If he smokes, his lighter. If he drinks, his glass/bottle. Anything like that. In fact, I've been doing healing work on myself and have put Tranquility Powder on stuff that I touch regularly. It's helping a LOT.

Re: How to Use Sachet Powders: Questions and Answers
Hi,
I have had personal success with the oils on doorknobs and the like. You can mix a few drops of your urine , with Blessed Spring water and a Lucky Mojo Condition Oil and spread it around his door. That way it becomes your very own powerful attraction work. A combination of your pheromones , LMs Oils and Blessed Water is powerful indeed !
Follow up with some homemade goodies, like brownies that you have dosed with nine drops of your Girl Power (menstrual blood). Wow ,that will get things really going.
This is a great way to have him open up to a beautiful relationship with you. Remember ,anything with Girl Power is binding,so just make sure you really want this man in your life before you take that step.
Good Luck,
Coco

Re: How to Use Sachet Powders: Questions and Answers
so, is it more effective for them to walk over the powder than for them to touch it? I have started sprinkling at the entrance of our home and bedroom, but i always thought it worked better if they physically touched it.

Walking IN the powder - it's basic foot track magic. But them touching it is good too.

I'd sprinkle it around as much as you can. Mix some with soil to disguise it's color and spread it around the walkway up to the door as well as the entrance. Also right beside the cars.
