Thanks Miss Aida!

It wasn't really a fight that we had. We got together, and got into a conversation about a serious relationship (I think the conversation was too soon), and we discussed some issues that I think, were just too soon for the situation. We ended the conversation on a good note - however, after a few days, he had second thoughts and decided to just bail. From the reading, I got that this was due to the fears of commitment due to a past relationship, and assumptions he made.

I agree, I don't really like going against the reading - but I'm just confused as to why the candles were so different. The spell is completed once the vigil candle is burnt completely, correct? And it's not usually a good idea to interpret the candle until it's completed. The idea that this conversation occurred while the candles were still burning, and after the candles finished, it was still positive. Is this a common thing for candles to suggest a more positive outcome than what might actually happen?

I will wait and see what the blockbuster and return to me candle reports say - if it's negative, then it's time to move on, and stop trying to make things work.

I performed a spell n a man who was impotent.

The candles all showed an erection. I thought it was crazy or something was wrong with the candles! LOL. A month later, he was no longer impotent.

Moral of the story? Magic usually takes awhile to work: Patience.

Hi everyone,

I am going to have a Blockbuster Candle set in the church - I want it remove all obstacles standing in the way of me having a romantic relationship with my target.

1) I am not sure if I should send a photo of me as well as of him.

2) I am doing Break Up work on him and his wife also, at the same time. She is not the only obstacle, although a significant one. I am not sure whether to include his wife's name in the petition, e.g. to state, 'Remove ALL obstacles preventing (MY NAME) and (TARGET) from being in a committed relationship,' or add in also 'especially (WIFE'S NAME)'.

Hello, Lonestar_76 --

1) Yes, send a photo of you as well as a photo of him, but i will tell you what uis much better -- a photo of the two of you TOGETHER. You want to bust up all blockages that keep the two of you apart. Also, if you have no photo of the two of you together, this would indicate an issue in the relationship, and perhaps it is premature to use a Blockbuster candle. Just saying.

2) If you include her name on the Blockbuster candle, you are basically trying to use the Blockbuster candle as another Break Up candle. Again, it looks like if this is the case, and he is still so much "with her" that you put her name on every candle, then it may be that your use of a Blockbuster candle may be premature. I don't know your situation, but the thought comes to mind, that's all.

So what is a Blockbuster Candle really for, if not for Break Ups? It is to crash through barriers. Compare it to its closest spell-family member, the Road Opener Candle: The Road Opener allows previously invisible paths to appear. The Block Buster dynamites a way where there was no way. Neither of them are Break Up Candles.

Can anyone give me some advice on which MISC candle would be the best choice for the following situation?

I am very happy at my current place of work and would dearly love to stay, but I don't have enough weekly hours and will have to start looking around for another job in a few months for financial reasons (I work in a school).

In a month or so I will gain an extra qualification that is pertinent to my job, so will effectively be working at two grades lower than I'm qualified for.

I have repeatedly asked my boss for extra hours but he is tied to a budget and also doesn't need any more supporting staff.

Therefore I don't know whether to go for a RO or a Blockbuster candle to clear a path for me to stay there, which effectively means that someone would have to leave so that I can take over their role, or a child with additional learning needs requires 1:1 support throughout the day.

Any ideas? Or is there another MISC candle that would be better?

Road Opener candles can be generic or contain a specific request. Sample petitions include:

"Open my roads to love, so that I may find a partner for life."
"May my roads be opened and a way be shown toward a new job for me."
"May roads that were closed to me now open so that I may enter graduate school."

Cut and Clear candles are generally specific. Sample petitions may look like this:

"May my former love for [Name] be cut and cleared in preparation for new love."
"Cut and clear away all liars, cheats, and backbiters from my life."
"May my obsession with [Item or Name] be cut and cleared away forever."

Clarity petitions vary quite a bit, depending on circumstances. Some samples include:

"Lord, open the eyes of [Name] so that he will he the evils of [Name] with clarity."
"May [Name] see my love is true, without anger and in full clarity."
"I pray that the confused mind of [Name] will heal and clarity will be restored."

Blockbuster petitions are often written very strongly. Sample petitions may look like this:

Yes, a Blockbuster vigil can indeed be used to blast away someone's resistance to spell work, and it is probably the most popular choice for this kind of petition. For focus and intensity of purpose, you would want to team the Block Buster with a candle for what your actual desire is with respect to that resistant person, and light them both on the same day.

So, I am currently working on some revenge work, Ive had a reading from airr member and it is COMPLETELY justified..i have runs of candles for the intranquil spirit spell as well as runs of candles for break up work going, and im planning on having some Blockbuster Vigils lit by MISC within the next few days.. so, how would i petition this in reference to breaking my target's resistance?

Block Buster is one of our most popular candles at the church for blowing away obstacles.

Cut and Clear destroys blockages caused by useless and outworn relationships.

Road Opener is usually used for new ventures, rather than breaking up old and stagnant situations.

I've been doing work for the last 2.5 weeks to get back together with my husband and resume a loving, healthy relationship. I did a reconciliation novena with the help of St. Anthony, put my romantic rivals on ice, modified the prayer shared by miss cat on the separation products page using what I have on hand while I wait for my LM order, and finally I had MISC set a reconciliation light for me 8 days ago.

Things are going GREAT. Our communication is open and healthy like never before, all our love for one another is steadily bubbling up to the surface, and today my husband had a serious talk with his girlfriend about the future of their relationship. Keep in mind that prior to 3 weeks ago, we had only exchanged a handful of words over the last 4 months!

I've been doing my own readings on the situation and they consistently show the practicalities of life getting in the way. We're from two different countries and live together in a third and suffice it to say there's a lot of logistic, monetary, and legal problems that stem from that.

I want to ask MISC to set another light for me. Does the Block Buster or Road Opener seem better for us? I'm convinced by the Block Buster testimonials, but I'm a nervous because my inlaws don't like me much and I don't want to dramatically disrupt my husband's relationship with them.

Hi ophio,

If the source of some of your marital difficulties stem from your in-laws' behavior, then the Block Buster would work on reducing those influences. It would not harm your husband's relationship with them unless that is your petition. Since you're not asking for that as a result, then you should be fine.

Start with Block Buster to clear away obstacles, then you can use Road Opener to smooth the path ahead of you as a couple.

Meanwhile, you can put your in-laws into a sugar bowl with you to sweeten them to you for the long run.

Thank you for the excellent advice and reassurance, Miss Athena! I like the concept of blasting away obstacles and then clearing up the rubble still making the path a bit difficult to navigate.

Another question, my husband is in a rather sensitive emotional state right now. Would it make sense to ask MISC to add a few drops of Crucible of Courage and/or Healing to the Block Buster light? Or, I have some Special Oil No. 22 at home already that could use to dress candles at home while the light is burning at MISC if that's better. I'm just worried about it being a bit too harsh for him.

I would not ask MISC to add those other oils to your candle, as they serve a separate purpose. Keep each individual work focused to a specific goal otherwise you are scattering your energy.

You could have a separate candle lit for your husband with Courage and Healing, as they are part of your same goal for him. This would not be too harsh for him, as both are uplifting.

You are right -- adding Crucible of Courage to Block Buster is marginally intuitive, but adding Healing to Block Buster is not appropriate. Healing and Crucible of Courage are a nice combination in some cases, however, and so, like you, I would recommend a second candle.

Hello !

I have a question :

I got a few spell suggestions a couple weeks ago for a spell kit but id like to get some candles lit to help with my case

( My husband is serving in the military but has been in for about 5 years and haven't gotten any awards, order or change of base and he feels stuck. There seems to be something holding us back from being able to move forward or travel and i want things to be better for him. (example get an award or get orders : change of base..etc)

Should i get a road opener candle to help ?

I would do a run of three candles for this. Start with a Blockbuster candle to blast away any obstacles in his path, then do a Road Opener to smooth his way forward. End with a Crown of Success candle to help bring him to a successful outcome.

Write your petition for each candle according to the goal of each step in this plan.

While i am online and between calls at Hoodoo Psychics, i am reading candles for Missionary Independent Spiritual Church. It occurs to me to pass along a few things that can be seen in a candle glass.

No. 1: A Thin Ring of Wax. This Block Buster candle burned more slowly than expected with a dark grey haze at the top, clearing to a pattern of white wax spatters at the bottom, indicating some tears, and ending with a thin ring of unburned orange wax all around the bottom. The bottom of the candle is the distant future and the unburned wax is something from the past that must be resolved before the client's roads are truly open. The fact that the ring is fairly thin shows that the situation is not hopeless -- the client can break through. I am going to purchase a run of block buster candles. I want to remove all obstacles keeping me from having the committed relationship I want to have with my man. Theres influences of other people and past issues that are showing up in my candle reports so I want to blow those away, I have a few ideas of who and what the obstacles are.

Personally, I prefer the latter choice as it covers any obstacles pertaining to you both individually. The first option specifies only obstacles preventing you from being in a relationship with him. It doesn't address anything potentially holding him back.

That is a lot to pack into one candle or a run. You may want to focus on one or two areas, this way the candle is focusing its energy on that one specific area, not splitting the energy over say 4. Also, the candle leaves signs as it burns, if you unload too many petitions on one candle you will have a hard time knowing which part the sign in the wax is reading.

"By the grace of God may (name) roads all be open that lead to success".

"I pray that my roads are open to bring me success in getting a job in (field) in (location), may all obstacles be removed, just as God brought down the walls of Jericho so shall he remove the walls and blocks in my life, amen".
