How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
can you reopen a honey jar to add things to it? like hair?
Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
sonny256 from reading the forum and personal choice, I do not reopen honey jars once they have been complete and working (setting lights). It is suggested that you make a new one. While I have read that some do remake the honey jar while praying. Again, my personal choice is not to reopen once complete and working. If you have not began working the jar, you can open and add...

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
For honey jars - is it best to work it three times a week?
I made one then planned to light a new candle on it every full moon. Is that enough or shall I burn candles more often?
Thanks, and sorry to butt in on this topic, but I felt it was relevant to the topic.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
When actively working a honey jar, burning candles at least 3 times a week (on M-W-F) is usually the way it is done. That way a strong, steady steam of energy is going out at all times.
If your honey-jar has already acheived your main goal, and you are simply keeping it and working it as a kind of magical mantainence, then lighting one every full moon would probably be fine.
But if you are still working to manifest the intent you created it for, I would work it at least 3 times a week.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
I ahve one for a specific intent that I basically work as needed. It's to do with financial aid and a government agency. When I need to get my paperwork in, I start working the jar. I do it so they'll keep giving me my benefit entitlement and don't lose the paperwork. Otherwise I work it every full moon. I usually start working it three days before I have to deal with the organisation. Everything else is maintenance.
It depends upon your goal, really. You find what works for you and the situation. It comes with practice.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Hello everyone,
I would like to befriend with 5 other girls, is it possible for me to get everything done in just one honey jar? If so, how should I do it? have pictures of them seperately, and stick each one of their pic to mine with honey and use the back as parchment paper? in that case I would need 5 pictures of myself, would that affect the result?
My other question is that I am planning to use dove blood to write my petition, but it would be impossible for me to write the petition circle without lifting up the quill pen, what should I do?
Thank you for all your help in advance! =)

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Don't use a quill pen for this particular spell. As you've already observed, you cannot properly write this specific petition paper using a quill pen. You could try and find a fountain pen that you could fill with the dove's blood, if you are married to the idea of using that ink with an antiquated style of writing tool.
You can print a large picture of yourself that the 5 pictures can be stuck to. OR you can make 5 small pictures of you and stick small pictures of the girls to each one. In either case, make your petition paper large enough to wrap around all the pictures.

Dear All,
Thank you for your imput and suggetions. I was being stubborn about redoing the jar because I thought it was so well done, even had some of his semen. But he has not spoken to me in a week and things were going really well prior and I have been feeling angry too. So thank you all!!

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Its relevant. Personally I would light it at least 3 times a week. Honey jars are steady so if you are only lighting them every 28 days, but keep at it, you will be fine. I personally would work them at least once a week so perhaps every friday. You can still light them every full moon, but I would work them during that month too.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
I was turning my jar tonight when I discovered mold growing at the bottom
Now, obviously I don't think this is a healthy condition to have going on in my jar - I think it's just remnants of the spaghetti sauce that was originally in the jar (very hard to clean out completely).
So I have decided to begin a new jar but I need to know what to do with the old one. On one hand I don't want to "ruin" or negate the progress made with the old jar and the commands inside by just dumping it out, but I also don't want to think of the fact that mold is growing in my "inactive" jar if I keep the jar intact...OR if I do dump it, will the positive effect of the NEW jar counteract me dumping the moldy one???
Anyone else had this experience?

Oh, one more thing: 1) If I'm wrong about the spaghetti sauce, do you think the mold is indicitive of anything? Is it normal for mold to grow? I've had the jar going five months now.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Nothing will counteract the old one. You are just fine creating a new one, and what I would do is dig a hole in your backyard, or your front yard, and put the remaining ingredients in there. I am assuming you're doing this for a love interest so burying it in a hole in the front yard will be helpful and coincide with burying remains to draw something to you. Then just throw the old jar away or clean it out really well.
Mold does not normally grow in honey. See above in this thread for "recipes" contributed by our customers and clients using syrup made with water, and in amonst them you will find catherine's warning about how if the syrup is not sweet enough, mold will grow in the syrup. Mold is usually greenish and floats on top.
Also, be very sure that what you see is indeed mold. People who have not had cooking often mistake crystalizing honey for "moldy" honey. Natural honey almost always crystalizes over time, with a white crystaline structure "growing" in the honey, often from the bottom. These are sugar crystals.
Sugar crystals are normal. Mold means you have a problem.
Something similar happened to me, and I did as you did by dumping it out. Creating another jar still yielded results.

I am confused about the re-opening the jar. I was told by someone at LM that this practice was okay, but I do have to say my jar seemed to have greater effect before I re-opened it but that could just be my imagination working on me.
Can someone clarify this for us?

Thanks Starsinthesky...I live in an apartment complex so I have no actual front or backyard and digging around the complex would really raise eyebrows
However, if you (or anyone else???) don't believe the mold is an issue, is there really any reason to start a new jar? I'm gonna do it anyway because I just feel in my spirit that I should. Also, I posted on another thread about re-opening a jar once you've begun to work it...I have read and heard conflicting advice and if I'm gonna start a new jar, I want to get every pertinent command in there now if re-opening is gonna have a negative effect. And yes...the jar is for romantic purposes.

I would revise my intentions in the case itself if I found mold in a Honey Jar. Everything in conjure job has a relevant context, and so does your mold. Cleanse and make a new one.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
The mold is not going to conflict with you making another jar is what I was explaining. You should definitely make another jar, as we do not know the reason for the mold. Make sure you cleanse out the next jar you use very well with ammonia, holy water, florida water, etc. As for dumping it, then get a potted plant, and dump it out in there, and keep the plant watered. Keep the potted plant on your balcony or near your door.

Yes you can re open it. But its a personal preference. Some people do prefer not to open it, but it is okay to do so. This topic has been talked about in other threads...you can do a forum search to get some clarification.

I am making another jar tonite, I just wanted to make sure I disposed of the old contents correctly. Ironically, things have gone from hot to "stale" with us recently. Things are still sweet but stale if that makes sense? The more I think about it the mold is indicative of something greater going on, not just "spaghetti sauce".
New jar on the way!

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
All respect to those who say to perform a forum search, but sometimes when you try there are too many results to show (thefore the forum shows you NO results) or it's hard to find specific answers.
I always do my research first or PM people with specific questions, and I believe some other posters are having the same issues...we don't mean to ask repetitive questions, it's just that the answers aren't readily available at times.
Aslo, it seems the forums seem to have a little "bug"...I always get a tracking cookie when on the forums, the antivirus always sweeps it but I have noticed the longer I stay, the more antivirus hoops I have to jump through - so "quick" answers are preferable.
BTW, I should probably post this in the Support forum, but my company recently blocked LM as an "Malicious Site", but on my home PC all I've ever gotten was a "tracking cookie"....low risk!

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Oh telling you to do a forum search was not to scorn you or make you feel bad. It was just a suggestion as to where to find the answer, and more deeper answer if you want to know more about it. In addition, you can type "lucky mojo forum honey jar reopen" or whatever you need to type in google, and it will show all the threads to help get better results. Also, you can go to a section of the board such as "ask for help with spellcasting" or the other sections, and you can do a search by section. It can help narrow it down so you wont get too many results to show or whatever
Also, report any bugs to forum support.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Hmm...well at least you know the source now. Well, I would recommend to you what you just did, which was create a new jar. In addition, I would add some cinnamon, or ginger to spice up the relationship, and heat things up. If you cannot add this to the jar (sometimes I cant get my jars back open), then add some ginger and/or cinnamon to the candle itself. Furthermore, I would do a road opening candle to remove any obstacles, and open the way for the relationship. Lastly, you want to get a reading to make sure you are addressing the relationship.

If you intent is the same for all of them, you can write one petition. If you have different intents with each of them, then I would make 5 different jars.
You can write the petition on the back of a picture if you want - however I usually wrap up the pictures and such for honey jars within a petition paper. It's up to you.

I think that any love work should start with a reading with a worker. That way you can get a better picture of what exactly is going on, and how best to address it.

Definately get a reading done, I did and it makes the picture a lot clearer and also sets out what you need to do to be successful.

Each of our honey jars comes with a sheet of paper enclosed which contains the instructions. If for any reason the sheet of paper is missing (highly unlikely) then you can read about how to work honey jars and other bottle spells at these web pages:
http://luckymojo.com/botlespells.html
and
http://luckymojo.com/honeyjar.html
The instruction paper in the kits is taken from those two pages.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
As i see it, a person who does not know how to wash out and sterilize a jar to put clean honey into needs to learn some basic kitchen work before undertaking spell-casting. Honey is a preservative and will never grow mould on its own. You worked dirty and got dirty results. As a reader, i'd say you didn't think this thing through from the basic starting point, just rushed into it.
Dump out the old honey jar, you can pour it where ants live and they will be grateful to eat it.
Then use hot water and soap to clean your glass jar. Clean the inside of the lid too. Pay attention to details. Like Johannes said, the untidy result you got was not an accident, but rather the effect of your own carelessness, and that carelessness is manifested in the spell now. Undo the damage and start anew.

Besides getting a reading to find out the naunces of what's going on what can be done, you might consider working the parents in a honey jar to sweeten them to you and working Crucible of Courage to help your target overcome her fear of her parents disapproval.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
I like a Hebrew phrase I've heard before - "coincidence is not a kosher word."
My suggestion though would be if you're going to do the spell, you might as well do it right. I'd get a brand new, unused mason jar. They shouldn't be hard to find. I say that of course, knowing that I went nuts looking for mine when I was starting my honey jar, but once I got it started, now I see them everywhere.
And if you're going to use a "used" jar, at least use something sweet. You get out of the spell what you put into it, so put enough into it to hunt down the best jar you can get your hands on.

Is there some reason why a normal jar of honey can't be used and doctored up? apart from the lid not being metal, I guess?

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
If it's going to stress you out to try and tweak this spell to your needs, then you may want to consider 5 separate petition papers with corresponding pictures, each one made following the directions of the spell exactly without any modifications. Just make sure you use a big enough honey jar to fit all of the petitions.
Or you may want to explore a different way to work a sweetening spell - like the sugar box one.

None at all. Thats what I usually do, as honey often comes in small jars with metal lids, perfect for work like this.freegirl wrote:Is there some reason why a normal jar of honey can't be used and doctored up? apart from the lid not being metal, I guess?

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Lucky Mojo honey jar spell kits are made with selected honeys from flowers whose magical symbolism accords with the work being down. For example, Orange Blossom Honey is used in the jars destined for the performance of marriage spells, as it is traditional for brides to wear orange blossoms in their hair.
Next a small packet of a specific herbal blend is added to the kit. This saves you having to buy six or more regular-sized packets of herbs and mix your blend, and then have tons of left-over herbs.
The kit comes with one candle and a reusable candle holder that fits on top of the jar. If you wish to buy extra candles, they are available at a discount price by the dozen.
Included too is a small piece of parchment paper for your petition, and general instructions on how to perform sweetening spells.
Finally, a dram vial of hand-blended Lucky Mojo oil is included, for you to use in dressing the candle(s) and the petition paper, and to wear on yourself, if you choose.

I particularly like buying kits the LM because everything is included and instructions to boot...

I didn't actually know that LM selected honey for specific magical purposes. I just assumed it was any old honey, but way to add that extra symbolism. It's things like this that make me continue my business with LM.

I want to use the LM Friendship Honey Jar spell kit on someone I dont know, but I have their name, DOB and picture.
Would this affect any rootwork being done on my behalf on a different target?

Excellent, thanks for your reply.
Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Out of curiosty and no way would I try this.
In this current day and age, with Facebook etc and the lack of privacy, could someone buy several Love kits and then cast them on people I do not know but who I would see around where I live?
Just with the fact that so many people have a picture, full name, DOB and other relevant information on their social networking pages.
Quite a scary thought.

You could, but with no *real* connection (them not even knowing your name or having met you before for example) to them the link will be very weak.
But magic can't make something happen from nothing - so if a person was in no way attracted to the person tricking them, then the Love Me kit wouldn't change that.

Thats good to know, I really got obsessive about 1 girl who was into Wicca and I was pretty sure she cast something on me using my details from Facebook.

Well, if you got obsessive about her, then it shows that there was some kind of connection there between you two. I imagine you were chatting with her, etc - so there was communication and it was easier for her to focus on you. Not as if she randomly chose your pic and then hoodooed you. Magic exploits odds and existing connections, so if a conjure is effective it's because there was some kind of link that was utilized.

We had been chatting for a few years so that will have been the link.

Yea, a few years is a HUGE link. At that point she might not have even needed your picture if she was gifted - just concentrating on you would have been enough of one while she worked.

This is why I try to read everything on this forum (gaining knowledge). I also did the same thinking cayenne would make things hot (in a good way of course). In redo-ing the spell are the contents discarded in the yard being that an incorrect ingredient was added? Thanks in advance.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
I looked on the forum, but didn't come across anything that addresses my thought/concern...
Soon I will be working a honey jar for a marriage proposal...I need to order a few goodies. My sweetie lives in NY and I live in NC. We get to spend time together every 3-6 weeks...just depends on our schedules. Sometimes I drive
, but usually he surprises me with a plane ticket.
My concern is how do I tend to my honey jar when I fly out of town
? Hauling my honey jar with me in the car is totally a non-issue, as is working it in NY...that can all be done; but I think trying to fly with it is "a horse of a different color." I don't foresee airport security allowing me to bring my honey jar with me, even if I bat my eyelashes, look sad and say puh-leezeee
(please). I don't check luggage...just a carry on. So...what do I do when I'm not home on MWF or a combination thereof?
Thanks y'all...

You can just burn dressed candles related to your petition while you are away.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
I have a question about burning the candle on the jar. I see that you show the candle burning on the jar in the holder, and say that the holder is reusable. But I would assume that if one burns the candle down in the holder, the wax would cover the holder and the jar. So if I wanted to burn another candle on top of the jar, how would I do that? And two, how would I reuse the candle holder? Would it be ok to dig it out from under the wax to reuse?
Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
I love the stamped brass holders LuckyMojo includes with the honey jar kits for so many reasons but this is definitely one of them. The wax doesn't build up in the holder, its flows over the jar, so you don't have to dig out any wax, just put the candle in and light.illey wrote:I have a question about burning the candle on the jar. Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
I stopped using a holder because I wanted there to be wax on the lid and I think I had heard somewhere that it was better to have the candle right on the lid.
I've just changed my mind. Also I had no idea the LM honey jars were made like that. My next one is going to be a LM one! I made my first one (with advice from Cat after a reading), but the lid is not metal, so a candle burning down on it set it on fire. But it was very effective-- I think because so much of my energy went into it-- I may use it again with a holder. However, its purpose was specific to heal a particular quarrel, which happened.
The second one was made for me by a rootworker, and I opened it to add a piece of paper with his fluids. I've been using it for quite a while, hard to say how effective-- I shake it every day as I was instructed... It has a less specific purpose.
I wonder if I should make another specifically for the situation I'm in now rather than a general sweetener... but I don't have another bit of fluids unfortunately. what do you think?

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
I am going to start a Honey Jar Spell today....1st time.
My intention is to dominate and compel a person (not in a sexual way).
I want this person to do as I say, keep a promise and sign some law papers without giving me a hard time.
I already read the "ritual" on this site but I need proper information in order to be successful.
I am going to fill the bottom of the jar with some dried rose petals.
After I am going to place my folded petition, written on a brown paper. I am going to follow the instructions on this website.
As I don't have any personal item from my target I am going to use a picture.
Should I leave the picture inside the folded paper?
I am also going to add some herbs: licorice root, cascara sagrada, rosemary.
Should I add some other herbs such as: bay leaf, poppy seeds, sage, etc for protection, once this person is trying to harm me verbally?
I also have some oils: sage and compelling which I will add to the petition.
A "Do as I say" powder which is also going to be sprinkled inside the jar.
After this I plan to fill the jar with honey and close it.
I will burn a purple candle for 7 days because my intention is to dominate this person.
After the first week I will burn a candle every Mon-Wed-Fri.
Am I right with my spell???
Let me know Please!
