White would be fine, I like blue for matters of health, but that doesn't really gel with the kinda energy High John has, to me at least, so I would work either White or orange candles.

It has been discussed before, but a quick rundown is that you take a bath (preferably a healing/cleansing one) then rub the egg downward on your body while praying that the excess weight be transfered to the egg. You can also ask the egg to take the weight. Then you toss the egg at a tree or at a crossroads over your shoulder. Do this over a course of several weeks for the best results.

I would do it everyday, I mean in order for a diet to be successful you have to do it everyday, or at least majority of the week. But when you do weight loss work say you want to have it help you in addition to your diet, and exercise. I wouldnt just leave it open to being able for work to be lost any kinda way even a sickness.

Hi everyone. I am hoping someone can guide me on exactly how to do a candle spell for myself. For my own reasons, that I won't go into, I would like to work with St. Dymphna. I just received my order today from LM but I'm not exactly sure what all I can do with it. I'll list what supplies I have on hand that I THINK would be helpful. There are a few I'm not sure of though but I will list them anyhow since I am not very knowledgeable in this area and there might be uses for things that I'm not aware of.

White skull candle
Red, white, pink, purple, black, yellow, and brown candles
Borage Flower
Golden seal
Coltsfoot Herb
Comfrey root
Calamus root chips
poppy seeds
cubeb berries

Lavender Love Drops
Blessing oil
St Dymphna Oil
Clarity Oil
King Solomon Wisdom oil

I also have a St Dympna, St Jude and St Anthony cards. As I stated in the topic I would like to work on my self esteem but I would also like to be able to see my situation more clearly and be able to step back and make decisions for the right reasons.

Just a note....do not buy things that you have no idea what they are for. It would appropriate it for you to talk to the people at lucky mojo and ask what products would be good for your situation. Otherwise you might be wasting money. I would use st dymphna to help a person overcome any mental illness or any maladaptive ways of thinking when it comes to the mind.

St. Jude is the saint of hopeless cases. So i would not work with him unless its something dire, and until you are ready to pay him once he has granted your petition. He needs a payment back or he will take away what he gave you or more.

You could use the skull candle with blessing oil/clarity oil. You can utilize a red candle for strength and wisdom with king solomon, and borage flower. Lavender drops are used by those of the same sex so you can put that on pink, or read.

Brown candle would be worked with for saint anthony. This can be used with the st Anthony card.

Calamus and poppy seeds are something you would want to use to work with controlling or dominating someone.

Coltsfoot is a type of healing herb so you can utilize that with any healing work that you do.

The skull candle can be used for clarity where you can put clarity oil

Thanks sky. When I ordered some of the products I had different interests in mind but since then (thanks to you and Brida) I have decided to concentrate more on myself. So as I am new to this I wasn't sure of all the uses of some of the things that I have got. I have read up on them but as I am reading the forum I have noticed people using things for other purposes that I wasn't aware of so just in case I was missing something I just listed most everything I've got.

Thanks for you input. You have always been so helpful. Is there a specific day that would be better for working on this or should I do it over a course of days?

It depends what your objective is as to the specific day. And I would do it over a number of days. I would recommend burning the candle over 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, or 13 days.

Repeating your spell for a course of days is great because it is like saying the spell 7 times over 7 days. However, if you wanted to you could burn it down in one single day.

Hi there!
I am new here and come from Germany!
I have 2 mixed kids...my man comes from Togo/Westafrica (the earlier Goldcoast where the slaves comes from)!
My son - has beautyfull long lashes from the birth on! Everyone was just thrilled about his wonderful lashes!

Now, after giving birth to my daughter I was more than sure, that she will get the same long lashes as my son!
But now even after 10 months now the lashes just stay short! I know my wish may sound ridiculous to some of you, but
still...it was my biggest wish before she was born!

When I was pregnant, I use to focus so many time on my wish, so I wonder what I did wrong?
I am surely new to hoodoo, but very enthusiastic about it and love to collect all the herbs, curios & ect.
Is anybody there can help me, how I make my wish come true? Should I make a mojo for my little one, or better a candle spell, or what works best in such situations?

I will be very thankfull, if somebody could give me a good tip!

Hi.

I am sure your daughter is PERFECTLY BEAUTIFUL just the way she is.

Your wish for your daughter before she was born should have been for her to be healthy, and sound. Not that she take on the genetic qualities of her father in the area of eyelashes. Chances are, she got your genes, and that is that. There is no spell (that I know of) that will alter genetics. I know parents who would give their lives for thier child to just be healthy, or not with some sort of cognitive delay issue, etc.

Remember, everything starts with you. You are a mother. Cherish your children as they are. For goodness sake, she is only 10 months old!!!

I think the fact that your daughter is beautiful and healthy should be enough! With all that is happening in the world and all that can happen to you and YOURS it seems a bit trivial. Besides who know, her lashes may begin to grow out as she becomes longer.

As a Cosmetologist I do not recommend the treatments because there has not been enough test to show if there are negative side affects...but let's face it your daughter will have more than enough time to get mascara to enhance her lashes. In the interim I would thank the powers that be, that you have a healthy family!

Wishing for longer eyelashes is no HARM to the baby or anyone else (she isn't asking, for example, how to make someone suffer from schizophrenia).

All that said, I don't know of any specific spells. Perhaps you can work a doll baby for her by adding false eyelashes onto it as you make your petition; stuffing it with herbs that promote beauty. That's not very specific but it's an option- think creatively since this is not a common request.

On a mundane level, make sure your daughter gets plenty of calcium and vitamin D (in leafy greens and importantly in sunlight). When she is a little older, over the age of 2 or 3, you can supplement her diet with gelatin capsules which promote hair growth. Be sure to keep the pores of her eyelashes clean and exfoliated- do this by using the rougher edge of a washcloth soaked in warm water and rubbing it along the lashline for about two minutes (I used to work for an eye doctor and this was his advice- works well with a sty that is just forming too). You might research beauty oils used to promote healthy hair growth and try rubbing these on her lashes nightly- test on yourself first, and don't do this before the age of 24 months/2 years.

It is common old wives' tale knowledge that boys are often gifted with long lashes, full lips, lithe bodies, and high cheekbones while their sister siblings are not. Mine were. 35 years later, my lashes are still shorter- HoodooGirl and Brida are right to hope you focus on more substantial gifts for your daughter. Good Luck!

I am sure that the baby is beautiful despite the longer lashes and the fact that she is healthy is a blessing.

Now from a professional standpoint, calcium is definitely an important supplement but I would be very careful with other supplements to promote hair growth. The reason for this is that the baby is two young and may times the areas where the hair growth is is not the area in which the person desired the hair growth.

Also you may not want to focus on a trivial shortcoming because later in life the young lady may feel as if she is not beautiful due to having short lashes. Ultimately it is Bellasia's decision and I by no way feel that her wish is not valid, but I am sure that her daughter is precious with or without the longer lashes.

OF COURSE the HEALTH of my both kids is allways the most important thing in my life and it will allways be!

I would give my life for my children and I am caring very good after them! I am praying every day for their health and luck in life!

Why I wish my daughter gets longer lashes is because I thought for a girl its a nice thing to have pretty lashes and when I look at my son, I think she might be jelous on him , when she grow up one day!;-) That´s all! Nothing more, nothing less!

I welcome you to the forum and invite you to ask as many questions as you wish. It is natural for a mother to want her daughter to be as beautiful as possible. I don't know if lashes can be magically affected, but I do know that at 10 months of age, they are not fully grown in. Too bad, though, it does seem like little boys get the lushest lashes. At least we girls have mascara!

An old time hoodoo trick for beauty is to steep rosemary in spring water. Allow the mixture to rest for three days, then strain the rosemary out. The face can be gently washed with this water for lasting beauty. You can also add rose water to this mix if you like. I don't think it will grow lashes, but it smells lovely and makes the skin feel wonderful.

I would, however, absolutely not use this on an infant. Wait to whip out the conjure until she's much older. Rosemary and Rose will be good for the skin, but use it when she's a teenager, assuming she has problem skin.

Long lashes: silk amino acid added to regular mascara you should notice a difference in about two weeks.. you said it was for your child so I would probably use clear mascara.. but not on an infant.. since ther organs and body are still growing..

I am thinking about making a dollbaby of myself to help with weight loss. Has anyone had success with this?

I want to fill my dollbaby with yerba mate, cinnamon maybe some metabolism boosting spices such as cayanne pepper, paprika and chilli powder.

Do you think adding things like slimfast powder, protein powder (for building muscle) or hoodia capsules, fat burner capsules would help?

I wouldn't use cayenne and chili that way in a magical doll-baby, because those are hot foot and discord ingredients magically-speaking. You're liable to end up angry, irritable and lashing out at those around you. Slimfast powder is all processed sugars and stuff, fat burner capsules are just caffeine (or other stimulant herbs) and ephedra - that's just filling your body with mess, nothing that will REALLY help you lose weight and keep it off.

I would concentrate on filling the doll with herbs that promote health and confidence and will-power. Then talk to the doll about your goals of eating healthier foods in smaller portions, keeping up with an exercize routine, etc.

While conjure works off of sympathetic magick, that doesn't mean you can include anything you want into the spell just because the symbolism fits. Remember, that the magick comes from power found inherent in the herbs and curios that the conjurer knows how to tap into and channel. Take Juju's advise and fill it with health herbs and curios while working with Crown of Success products as well as a combination of health products.

Hello fellow workers,

I'm curious what y'all think about this kind of work and what you would do for someone with a poor body image (besides self-care, eating well, not exposing yourself to irrational images of beauty, those kind of things). If someone needs some assistance, what would you recommend? What comes to my mind is perhaps a pink figural candle, maybe with some Queen Elizabeth Root products? I'm aware of rosemary wash. Besides that, I'm a little stumped on this one. Would anyone have some advice?

Hmm, I would do the nude white figure candle with gentle herbs. I like sumac, allspice, marjoram, rosemary, althaea, and self-heal. These are herbs to heal the ideas she has about beauty. I would put some peaceful oil on the candle or healing oil.

A bad self image comes from comparing oneself to others, which humans naturally do. Of course, a lot of this is cultural to a large extent. I would work on her seeing her own beauty aside from others.

She can also take honey baths with rose water to pick herself up and be sweeter.

Here's a sneaky trick for you.

Take 2 tablespoons of white caster sugar and put in a small bowl. Add to this 2 teaspoons of finely ground SEAsalt and one teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda. Add enough rosewater to just cover the sugar. You now have a grainy syrup-ey mixture.

For positive self image, add to this Healing and Clarity oils, and whatever herbs you desire.

Now package it in a jar or bottle and present her with your lovely home made facial exfoliating scrub. The base is divine on its own, and you can add whatever condition oils are required for the situation.

I have never heard of a spell that suddenly increases a man's penis size. I would compare this to a spell that changes the color of a person's eyes. Perhaps, you can do a spell to make sex more enjoyable between you and your partner. If you do not have a partner, perhaps make someone be more attracted to you, and for you to get more sex.

I agree with cleopatra on that one. Definitely, skill is a must lol. Anywhoo, I would create a mojo bag with the things cleopatra has mentioned. I would place the High john the conqueror root, Ginseng and then raccoon penis bone in a red mojo bag, and then dress it with nature oil. I would add some juniper berries, and lemongrass as well.

Ok, so there is no spell or curio that is going to make a penis bigger, however there are LOTS of things that you can do to increase your nature, virility, and enhance your sexual experience. Cleopatra already gave you some good advice, along with that I would suggest that you burn red penis candle anointed with nature oil to increase sexual pleasure and prowess.

She's much to little for this now

, but pure castor oil is great for growing, enhancing eyelashes.

In the meantime, maybe there is a conjure that can be done to bless her life with beauty, good health, love, wonderful self-esteem, happiness etc - (I don't know one, but I'm sure someone here does - perhaps a blessed sachet that hangs in her room, or a little pillow or doll stuffed with the appropriate herbs) so that all who look upon her see only beauty etc.

I have to smile, my brother had the longest lashes in our family and his son has much longer lashes than his sister-- so long they still (at age 13!) touch the top of his eye socket.

I was never jealous of my brother's long lashes, but it was nice for him to have something he was so proud of and sure about because my mother always praised them. So later on when he began to get bald (also runs in the family) he could still be proud of his lashes and his little boy's lashes.

And yet the little girl is everyone's darling, she's so cute and lively. I think sometimes boys naturally have longer lashes, and CopperFox is right, she can always wear mascara when she's older if she wants to.

I have a friend who has an eating disorder, she is really thin and very rarely eats anything but when she does she will starve for days.

She has mental health problems and a lot of issues with addictions, but the eating disorder is pulling her family apart.

Is there anything that LM sells that could be used as a way to get her to start eating again or to put X amount of weight on?

Medical treatment is only an option in the UK when she falls seriously ill, she has been begging the doctor for help for a long time.

She said if she was able to gain weight then she would be happy, the problem is she cannot stand eating food.

I would work with St. dymphna if you are into working with saints. Although this is not a mental illness, there is something going on about how she feels about food. So I would work with Saint dymphna. In addition, you need to get a reading,a nd understand why she does not like eating food. I would do some clarity work, and healing work to heal her from something in the past that affected her ability to eat.

I spoke with her cousin and it seems its all attention that has got out of control, I know she has a wide range of addiction issues but the food one is quite bad.

I'll try and get the full story then a reading, from there I might enlist a rootworker rather than try myself.

I actually believe it IS a mental issue; I suffered from it myself when I was a teenager. It is a terrible obsession, although in one way it's empowering as it's her trying to gain control of something in her life.
Maybe try some love me products to help her love herself? and healing products. This is a typical obsession with people who have both low self-esteem and a high degree of perfectionism... people who are very hard on themselves. So crucible of courage too perhaps and anything to help her come to terms with being good enough. You could try a skull candle with the right herbs. Also feel free to PM me if anything in my experience would help-- although in my case the worst of it lasted less than a year and I grew out of it more or less naturally but I do think I was lucky. and it was a big force of will to let it go.

She is a recovering alcoholic, with an Eating disorder that cannot be specified, and she self harms. It all centres around her weight, although everyone has said its being done for attention because she was ignored by her family when she was younger.

Today she said she wanted me to keep out her life, she said I got too close and when that happens she gets hurt because people leave her. Her mum & dad are going to take her back home for a while, until they can get the doctors to intervene.

While magick is a great tool it is no substitute for medical attention. Miss cat and others have always advised that in conjunction to spiritual work you *also* get the professional help you need in whatever field you are having issues (medical, legal etc).

If this friend has an eating disorder working conjures aimed at making her eat may not help the situation. It may exacerbate the situation and condition. Especially if you make her gain "x" weight. She may claim that she wishes she could put on that weight, but the fact that she's starving herself indicates otherwise. With an eating disorder influencing someone to eat more may also cause them to think "oh my god I can't believe I ate all that, I am so fat" and similar dangerous thoughts. The cause is cognitive one, and while it is wonderful that you seek to aid her, focus on the cause of the problem not the symptom.

First, direct your spellcasting towards finding her suitable medical help. Use honey jars to sweeten her doctors to her and to encourage them to take her case seriously. Work with spells to aid you in the paperwork to help get things processed faster so you are referred to a mental health professional. If you want to augment the treatment that she receives then work with Healing products to help assist in the healing process.

Thank you for that ConjureMan, I never thought about the Honey Jar for the doctor, the UK health treatment requires her to be sectioned before they will help but this may nudge the doctor to act sooner.

I was thinking about casting a spell on myself for self-discipline.

Any recommendations. And if you need an example, I want to learn the piano, but I tend to get lazy and not do anything. I want to learn a foreign language, but I get bored/lazy and not do anything.
The whole,"I don't feel like it" syndrome. I want to exercise more, but I don't feel like it.

So, when I say self-discipline that's what I mean. Enough self-discipline to fight laziness.
I want to be more determined and to actually DO something. Not want something and do nothing at all.
