I wasn't sure how effective the vigil candle services offered by Missionary Independent Spiritual Church are...but is there a rule of thumb involved with them?

I had a few vigil candles done, along with work I am doing myself for reconciliation and I am interested to know what I should probably expect. I was considering ordering more candle work... Can anyone clue me in on some details about it?

You should get a reading on the issue and at least wait to hear the results of the candle set. You may want to call the office to check the status.

Can anybody tell me how you know if your candle has been set yet or not?

Or do you just have to wait for your candle report?

I didn't see an email address or anything to email the church which I think is doing my candle burning this time.

Thanks

If you have questions, call the church. The candle ministry is most often extremely busy, and it can be hard to find out the status of a candle sometimes. Most of the time it seems to be a matter of just waiting for your report.

I have called to find out if it's set, and get an answer right away. Reports can sometimes be backed up, so I'd call rather than assume it's not going. Generally they are set pretty promptly.

Nicole has lite several candles for me also and interpretted them for me too. She does a beautiful job. I love how detailed she is with her reports. Although mine are still a work in progress. I have no doubts as to their outcome. I would also like to thank Robin. She too has lite and interpretted candles for me and she also does a wonderful job. I truly appreciate all of their hard work and dedication. They are a blessing to us all.

Nicole is currently our 5-day-a-week Deacon candle setter. Ian, who served us beautifully prior to Nicole, left us for another job, and we were sad to see him go. Nicole has taken to the work beautifully, and is completely dedicated to keeping the candles fixed, trimmed, and burning, and writing those great reports. We sometimes have up to 100 candles set here per week, and she is both efficient and spiritually dedicated -- a real powerhouse of poise, i call her. She also makes me tea in the afternoons when i am in the church doing back-to-back readings.

Yay, Nicole!

I just ordered a vigil candle being set for me, and I mentioned that I have photographs I could send. Is there a specific address/person I should send them to, or should I just put them in an envelope with a note and mail them to the shop?

I ordered two candles to be set on the MISC altars yesterday. I received an email notification that my order had been received but no other information. I was just wondering when the candles would be set and when I can expect to start looking out for signs that they are working?

I am not sure if set candles work in the 3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months sequence as is stated for other spells, or what sort of effects MISC candle services usually produce?

In other words, can I expect visible results from the candle service?

I provided names and birthdates, but no photographs.

I ask these questions very respectfully and hope I do not sound greedy or impatient, as I do realize MISC staff are very busy and addressing each order may take some time. This is my first order ever from MISC so I am new to the process but would love to make other orders in the future. I am also contacting a reader to help with my specific situation so I am not relying entirely on only this. I'd just like to know when I can realistically tell if my candle order was effective or it's back to the drawing board.

Thanks in advance!

You should call MISC for status.

Order candles here with Paypal and upload your petitions at the same time:

http://CandleMinistry.com

If you wish photos attached to your candles, email photos here:

church@missionaryindependent.org

Telephone for direct information:

707-887-7808

By the way, your assumption abut "3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months" is not how it works or how anyone here claims it works. Please read this post to get true information:

I can't answer your question about the signs, but I believe they light the candles as soon as they have your order. The burn reports take a while though.

A candle can do a lot of good and is great for backing up work, but there is no such "sequence" as you stated. This will help:

Signs / Movement / Completion of Spells: Questions & Answers topic6436.html
mistylight wrote:In other words, can I expect visible results from the candle service?
Yes, if you are meant to get the results you are trying for and there are no obstacles. And you put in the real life work, if you light a candle for job getting, or to find a lover and just sit at home waiting you of course won't get any results.
mistylight wrote:when I can expect to start looking out for signs that they are working?
If you're going to get a sign it will come to you.

With respect to looking for signs -- you should reain alert for "coincidences" of names, numbers, and so forth -- and you may also use the Bible to ask a question, in the practice called Bibliomancy. Read more about Bibliomancy here:

The ritual candles set at the Missionary Independent Church are so powerful, and Nicole, the Deacon who sets the lights on the altars and reports on the spiritual signs during their burnings, is a treasure. She has been incredibly helpful when I wasn't sure which candle to set or prayer to make, and answering quick questions too. When I've had followup readings with Miss Cat, the pastor (who is also an amazing, amazing reader and candle worker) they share my information between them so that everything is coordinated.

The whole process is very healing in many ways.

I just can't say this enough about Missionary Independent Spiritual Church. :D

Thank you and thank you, Rev. cat for the incredible readings you have given me. Your energy is very special, I feel it the minute you speak. I really, really appreciate the advice and insight you continue to provide, in readings, in the church, and on the web.

You're welcome. In another thread you noted something that i was glad to see someone had noticed -- because not everyone takes advantage of it -- Nicole and i can coordinate our work, since we are in the same place.

In other words, she can send you a candle report and you can pay me for a reading, and then she can save your candles rather than putting them in the recycling, and make a copy of your candle report for me, and when you call for a reading, i can add my thoughts about the candles to hers.

We do this all the time for our regular clients, and all it takes is knowing that this is what you want, and Nicole will help you set it up. In general, a ten-minute session will suffice for my reading of the candles by phone, or you can plan a half-hour or one-hour card reading around the candle divination.

This is something very special, I think, and really adds to the feeling that you have a team of support. It is also so nice not to have to start at the beginning of a situation (assuming you are calling about an issue you've been setting vigil lights for) but can get right in there.

Thank you again for the great, great reading, despite my being in a noisy area on the streets of New York! The words are coming true and are very helpful as I make my way now. :)

Hi,

I live in the UK (England), and I am wanting to use the candle service provided by Missionary Independent.

But before hand I hoped to find out about it first.

My situation is love related, the person I madly love is out of my life and the way things are she will never enter back into it, its all a misunderstanding and what she believes to be true is infact all wrong.

I am wondering which candle to use, my preferred outcome would be for the person to contact me and want to start a relationship with me.

Would the Bend Over candle be a wise choice?

WOW THIS IS GREAT TO KNOW! I was planning on getting another reading after my candles are done burning so that Miss Cat (awesome reading from her as well!!!) can tell me if they worked well. While I have only spoken to Nicole once she was LOVELY though i will be speaking to her again to set up a scheulde for my candles to be burned! as was Tracy very sweet and helpful :D
Thank you, Archangel Michael for your constant protection.

MISC cleanses and prays over their dressed candles and sends you reports, but if you get UNdressed candles from Lucky Mojo you just want to make sure you cleanse them before use. This way you get a better and more accurate candle reading when doing candles yourself, because you will have to learn to do your own divinations.

In addition, overuse of herbs, and oils can produce soot as well on candles. It is helpful to poke holes in the wax before using vigil/glass candles so they do not sit on top of the wax.

Here is a link that will help if in the future you would like to read your home-burned candle results:

I suggest that until you learn how to dress your own candles, you buy your candles for use in the home from Lucky Mojo. We will dress them at the same time and in exactly the same way we dress your candles to be set in the church, and if you ask us to, we can hold your MISC candles until your home candle shipment arrives -- then you can call us and we will light our candles at the same time that you light yours. This is called a "simultaneous burn" or "dual setting of lights" or "having us back up your work."

This topic was posted in the "ask for help with your situation" section, but it is not a request for help with a situation. It is a request for help using candles, so it has been moved to the "ritual candles" section of the forum. Please post your topics in the appropriate forum, to save time for your hard-working moderators, and to keep th forum easy to read for the rest of the community. Thank you.

We set about 100 candles per week at Missionary Independent Spiritual Church.

The church candles are set by deacons who work 8 hours per day, five says a week (which translates to about (20 per day). The work consists of writing petitions, affixing photos, dressing and blessing the candles, tending to them as they burn, cleaning the church, interpreting or divining signs from the state of the burn, writing divinations up in the form of a report for each candle when it has finished burning, emailing the reports to clients, and filing client photos for re-use on future candles.

In addition to this work, the deacon also fixes and prepares many of the dressed Lucky Mojo candles that are sent directly to customers, especially those that are prepared as tandem / dual / simultaneous settings, where the client receives one and she retains one to set in the church on the day that the client telephones to request the spell work should commence.

There is generally a one-day delay between when an order is processed and the candle is set.

One was for King Solomon Wisdom and the other Stay at Home. when I had check to see how the candle burn they burned very clear. My question for anyone is how long does it take to have affect on the target to see outcome? just curious

This has been discussed here often. The general guideline is to LOOK for three days for a sign, and if there is no sign, to WAIT three weeks for movement, and if there is no COMPLETION after three months, to reasses the work or the outcome.

HOWEVER:

This WILL vary depending upon your specific situation, whether or not someone is working against you, if your target is putting up resistance, if you are doing your own work to back the lights at the MISC.

In other words, only you will know if/when it's working. Be patient.

I agree with NotDorianGray...candle divinations are very personal and is a result of many factors only you can answer.

Regarding the guideline to which NotDorianGray alluded:

After completing a spell (any spell, including candle burning, doll-making, setting up a honey jar, etc.), you may look for signs of coming success within three days, look for movement toward your goal within three weeks, and look for a final result within three months.

If you see no signs within three days, then you may want to add additional spell work; if you see no movement within three weeks, you definitely want to do more work; and if you get no results within three months, then whatever spell you tried (in your case, candle work, but this applies to all types of spell work) did not succeed and you should either give up the work or try again with a new and different approach, by which i mean not only a new and different spell, but also a new tactical approach toward your goal.

A picture of a person's back seems an unfortunate omen for spell-casting -- like they'll turn their back on your work. I personally wouldn't use such a picture. But if it shows part of their face -- well that's okay -- at least better than nothing.

This question has been asked before, and I believe Miss Cat says it is fairly immediate, unless you happen to call on the candle-setters day off. But for an exact answer, you should call and ask them.

I'm pretty sure this has been answered before, but I believe the answer is as quickly as they can. It depends of course on how busy they are (i.e. how much room is left on the altar for another candle), when the candle setters (which I think is primarily Nicole) have their days off, etc. It should usually be the next day unless you request a specific day.

I would call the church and ask them directly. That way you will get a better answer to your question. Remember this is not a customer service for the MISC, and they do not check the boards. So in the future call for a better answer to your question.
Thank u St. Martha for everything you have done on my behalf.
Thank u St. Elena! I appreciate your great help.

Sorry if this is not the spot to post this, but I'm not sure where to post it. I was wondering if anyone knows how long it take until they get to your candle? I'm not complaining or in a hurry, I was just wondering :) Also, has anyone had positive results with them lighting an Intranquility candle for them? Thanks!!!!

When I was reading about ordering the candle services I saw that you should include the names and birthdays of people involved as well as the petition. Do you put this in the message section of the order form or email after the order has already been placed?

I just wanted to say thanks to the MISC for setting a steady work candle for me. Although I haven't landed a job just yet, I am receiving calls for interviews (at least 1 per week for the last 3 weeks). Before the candle setting I didn't hear yay or nay from any companies I applied to. Things are definitely moving in the right direction.

That's good news. If it were me (and i am not trying to sell you on anything, just stating an opinion) i would now add Crown of Success to the steady work candles and send a copy of yur resume (one page) and the names of the companies where you are applying to Nicole at the MISC church, for her to personalize your candles. There is no extra charge for this, of course.
