New and a Question
Hi, I'm a newbie here. I am new to Hoodoo and I am so excited to be learning about it! I love this website and the people here are so knowledgable! I'm so glad I found this site! Now, can anyone suggest the best way for me to get started with my learning process? Thank you!
Re: New and a Question
I would suggest that you read the forums, read ms.cats online book, which you can find here: http://www.luckymojo.com/hoodoo.html and if you can pick up a copy of ms.cats print book, its a wonderful resource. And read http://www.southern-spirits.com for vintage accounts of conjure.

Re: New and a Question
In addition to reading as much as you can, I would also suggest ordering some things from Lucky Mojo. Using the products gives you a feel for them that you won't get otherwise. Many people come to hoodoo at a time they are in need; when some come to hoodoo with no immediate concern, they can slowly get a feel for the work by doing general cleansings, protection, honey jars, etc. just to get some 'hands on' with the materials. When something does come up, they can have a much firmer grasp of the materials and some of the finer points of conjure.
Once you've done these things for a while, you might apply to take Miss Cat's course.
And of course, you'll learn much by hanging out and reading these fora!
