I used St. Expedite in conjuction with a sweetening commanding jar on the doctor in order to get my husband treatment here in the Canadian system. Something similar might work for you. Do some divination and see.

Mind you, an oil isn't going to literally drag you off the couch to hit the gym.

When I need that extra oomph to complete tasks, I'll wear Power Oil. Van Van oil or a Van Van mojo work wonders, too. The oil smells wonderful and reminds me that I have things that need to be done NOW!

Apparently the law states she either has to be in serious danger, which means she will be sectioned, or she puts on a set amount of weight in X amount of time. Really bad system, so she accepts she needs help because its driving her to self harm worse than before, so I think she may realise putting on 4lbs in 2 weeks will benefit her more in the long run.

Maybe I should get a LM dressed candle for Tranquility to calm her mind, and then once she is in the system do something to help keep her mind focused on the outcome rather than the process of putting weight on.

You can work a candle on yourself, maybe a skull candle.

Place pictures of what you desire: desire, talent, skill etc under the candle. You could cut out pictures of a piano or place words in the language you want under the candle. Dress the candle with products like Mastery, John the Conqueror (for personal power), Power, Wisdom of King Solomon, but I would also add in Cast Off Evil to cast off the habit of laziness. I would burn this over a period of days and anoint yourself daily with the oils or take the corresponding baths.

Make yourself a mojo hand as well to help you overcome your obstacles and to increase your ability in these area. Consider things like Five Finger Grass and Solomon's Seal Root.

It has been my experience that often (not always) eating disorders are rooted in control...because when a person is feeling their life spinning out of control...they can still control what gets put into their body as well as how much gets put in...and on the flip side of consumption....they can control what comes back out by purging.

You also mentioned self harming. Is she a cutter as well? Self harm can be about control or a desire "to feel" as well. The opening or burning of their flesh is a release as well as a rush. And the recovering alcoholic portion......where is she in her recovery? I ask because in my mind I picture her soul in this vicious cycle...drinking to escape feeling anything, self harming or mutilating so she can feel something, and the eating disorder to gain some control over something and ease anxiety. When actually the harder she tries to control...the further out of control it is getting.

Her pushing you away is another symptom too...isolation. She cannot control your choice in staying in her life...but she can control whether she allows you in or not. The emptiness caused by pushing you away is probably easier for her to tolerate than the pain of you "leaving" her.

She is suffering with trauma of some sort...be it physical, mental, emotional, self perception, neglect, or unmet needs from somewhere in her life. I agree with Conjureman when he says "working conjures aimed at making her eat may not help the situation." The eating, self harming and alcoholism are all symptoms of a deeper issue. Regardless of what the specific DSM IV diagnosis is...her soul is in pain.

I am young in my Hoodoo practice & knowledge...but maybe a Healing Miracle candle, in conjunction with her personal concerns, yellow/white mustard seed, Golden Seal root threads, fennel seeds and anointed in LM Healing, LM Tranquility or LM Protection oil may help.

Starsinthesky7 mentioned St. Dymphna, and I agree that including a prayer and/or candle to Saint Dymphna would be helpful~~~Prayer: Hear us, O God, Our Saviour, as we honor St. Dymphna, patron of those afflicted with mental and emotional illness. Help us to be inspired by her example and comforted by her merciful help. Amen. She is the Patron Saint for those suffering with nervous and mental afflictions.

The substance abuse (alcohol) and eating disorder are mental health issues. Her self injury (also a mental health issu) can be related and/or linked to the first two disorders via anxiety disorders, PTSD, mood disorders and so on and so forth.

And please....any of the forum elders...feel free to chime in on my herbs suggested for dressing the candle. Like I said...I am still young in my practice, and want to do NO HARM.

Thank you for your post kimberlyanne, she is a complicated girl and because of the way the doctors are required to demand she shows an improvement before they will act is making the issue worse.

Everything boils down to her weight at the moment, she has been off alcohol for 4/5 years now because she can shut that out of her life, she lost a lot of weight that left her with excess skin which makes her self concious and again the doctors cannot do anything about that either.

If she puts the 4lb on in 2 weeks, she will then be able to to join a clinic for eating disorders and it will give her access to better counselling and care she cannot get at the moment.

Its tricky to know what to do because its mental health issues, I thought get her to put weight on and it will open the door to care, but it could cause other issues and it would need a lot of work to rectify the situation.

Its so hard to balance hoodoo with the mental health issues, so many variables, think I should get a reading to see the root of the problem.

This girl can do anything she sets her mind too. Remind her of that...for it is a strength she might not be aware of.

Another strength of hers is that she, above all else, is a fighter and a survivor. Now her battle needs to shift for herself instead of against herself.

Four pounds in two weeks is a lot... why does she have to gain so much that fast? unless she's been binging, she won't be able to put on that much weight that fast (the binge/purge cycle can mess with water weight). That said, she could try taking in a lot of fluids and eating a lot of salt.

But I agree, this is a mental issue-- one that she could probably get help with at an eating disorder clinic, though, as she would find many who share her issues there. Group therapy is incredibly healing for things like this.

I told her how strong she is because she actually has alcohol in her house that she doesn't touch, she goes out clubbing with friends and drinks soft drinks all night. Her problem is that some days she suffers badly from depression because she knows she is too thin and hates the fact she can't eat.

Its the same when they prescribe slimming tablets, you have to lose weight before they let you have them, think its disgusting they do that with people with eating disorders. She has begged the doctors and other professionals and they cannot allow her into the group therapy because they need her medical records to show she is willing to help herself by putting on weight, they say for every place in group therapy they have 20 people needing it.

I'm going to purchase some LM candles and would any sachet powers be able to help?, I can sprinkle them in her home and shoes and maybe if there are some that would give her peace of mind or confidence?

I would work with empowering products that help to bring her a sense of confidence and empowerment. Healing, Clarity (to help her see herself without the fog of insecurity), Wisdom of King Solomon, and maybe Crucible of Courage to help give her the strength to overcome.

You can work some Healing for yourself using those products. If you're comfortable working with saints, you may wish to petition Dr. Jose Gregorio Hernandez to help you find a doctor or treatment that will finally alleviate your suffering and end in a cure. I would personally combine the two - working Healing for yourself and petitioning the Blessed Dr's aid.

Spell-work cannot be a substitute for medical, dental, psychiatric, legal, or social care. See your dentist!

However, having said that, i will say that there are a number of old-timey hoodoo spells that give people tooth problems. For instance, if someone bites you and you want their teeth to fall out, you can rub chicken manure on where they bit you -- i know, YUCK! -- but it is supposed to make THEIR teeth fall out (and let's hope you don't come down with some horrible infection in the bite). Some people say to use -- DOUBLE YUCK! -- dog manure for this purpose instead. No kidding. People used to be so hard-core!

Well, if i had tooth trouble, and it was something more chronic than, say, having not enough room in my mouth for my wisdom teeth, but involved cavities, gum disease, or misaligned teeth, i'd do a couple of things.

First, i'd SEE MY DENTIST.

Then i would practice IMMACULATE DENTAL HYGIENE, including brushing, flossing, and getting cleanings every 3 months instead of every 6 months or every year. I would gargle with salt water or hydrogen peroxide, as my dentist might recommend, depending on my condition. I would stop drinking sugar-water drinks -- and every time i had one, i would rinse my mouth out with water if i did not have time to brush.

Next i would work with the planetary influence of Saturn, the planet that rules the teeth and bones. I'd use Saturn Oil to dress a petition for the health of my teeth, written on the back of a Solomonic seal of Saturn from the "Keys of Solomon" book, and burn a nice, white tooth-coloured candle on that petition paper, on Saturday, which is the day sacred to Saturn.

I have just started a new course and i find it difficult to make new friends as i am fairly closed n not very sociable through fear of being disliked. the downside of this is i spend a lot of time on my own and tend to avoid social things even when i am invited!

i sometimes feel like i repel people just through my own fear, so i was wondering how to make myself more popular. i am ok one on one, its is in groups i feel most uncomfortable. although i have made 2 nice female friends on my course, i know feel like i am drifting apart from both of them and i want to reverse this if i can.

Are there any LM products and spells i can do (simple ones-as i live in a house with 2 other people-also i cant leave candles unattended etc)

would a honey jar be appropriate in this case.
i would like to work on both myself and other peoples attraction to me, if that makes sense?

also, i am finding my course very hard and have enormous trouble concentrating due to other stuff in my personal life, is there anything i can do to help with my study?

any help greatly appreciated.

You might try blessing yourself with Attraction oil when you go out. Put it on intentionally. A couple drops on your hands, then lightly draw energy up from your feet to your head. Picture yourself being magnetic for what you want to attract. (You can also do a mojo bath with Attraction beforehand if you want an extra boost.)

I've had some really amazing experiences with that one. Highly recommended!

Question 1: yes attraction oil is what you want you can wear them on the skin, though I would test it on a spot to make sure you have no reactions. I never had but everyone is different.

Question 2: to study and be more focused I would use crown of success being you need to study so you want to be successful with the studies. steady work is something to keep a job or keep work coming, I really dont see how that would help studying unless ofcourse your job is to study.

You might look into the Crucible of Courage products too. It sounds to me like your difficulties making friends come from social anxiety, not anything inherently strange or repellent about you. You're probably a very nice, very shy person in need of a little more self-assurance; Crucible of Courage will do that.

I am in no way an expert but ironcially we are going through similar issues: I am friendly towards people but dont necessarily attract true and long lasting female friends (although I do have male friends, I want to socialize with females more). So I am going to try the suggestion that they posted above for myself.

For the studying and focus some of the oils I used recently in advance of a major test were Crown of Success, Fast Luck, Victory and King Solomon Wisdom Oil-- I burned these on orange and purple candles.

Another thing I used to repel any negative thoughts was Cast Off Evil.

When I start class I intend to either get bottle spells or mojo bags for each of these to keep promoting success. Again, like I said, not an expert --and definitely welcome the input of the experts-- but the above did the job for me

Steer well clear of bogus spellcasters promising outlandish results! Just a waste of time, money and energy -- not to mention the disappointment of getting one's hopes up. If the excessive hair is caused by a medical/hormonal condition, you'd do well to address those matters and may want to add in some prayers to your favorite Saints.

Since you are a female...take some prenatal vitamins. They will definitely make your hair grow thicker, and longer. It will take some time so you will be doing it over at least 3 to 4 months.

Ellis, hair growth is not equivalent to eye color or an adult growth spurt. It can be affected by many factors at any age.

Buttercup...it could also be something as simple as your shampoo, conditioner, or hair colorant. Try using the most natural ones you can for a few weeks and see if the hair loss stops or slows down. Also hair loss can be a side effect of emotional stress and upheaval as well.

I agree with Devi (I seem to do that a lot lately! *lol). 'Moving up' socio-economically can, and usually does, entail several different areas. I would sit down and make notes about where you see yourself as being, and where you want to be and what it would entail to get there. Then make a list of those areas that need work and start looking through LM's catalogue for items to help with those areas.

You need to set yourself clear objectives and work from there. If you want to climb up by gaining wealth then work with Money Drawing products followed up by Money Stay with Me and Wealthy Way. If however, you seek to find the right friends then work with Attraction products.

Crown of Success and Master are all great additions, but you first need to start out with an objective.

Master products are very useful, but as the other posters mentioned, have an objective first...cause generally speaking moving up social economically speaks to the financial aspects of social climbing. If you want friends along the way, that's one conjure, if you want attention, respect and of course the ultimate... financial stability...there are so many aspects.

I have a friend who lives in New York who has an eating disorder and desperately needs to gain weight, I live in Seattle and I desperately need to lose weight, is there any way I can sell her my weight over the long distance? Like if she mails me some change but then how would I send her the weight or is this just simply too complicated to bother with?
