A soothing and tranquil mojo hand that combines elements of healing may help further the process of overcoming the anxiety attacks. Althea to sooth and Angelica to guard may be a good addition to the mojo hand.

I've seen such mojo hands for such cases and people actually use them sort of like worry dolls. They speak to the spirit of the mojo hand when they are troubled or feel a panic attack coming on and it helps them keep things under control.

You an also include Clarity and Healing products to help you get to the core of why you are having the attacks and how to heal.

From a slighly different perspective there is a belief that panic attacks that have no immediate cause are a result of entities that exist on a subtle plane. They don't actually attack the individual, but them passing near by or latching on will cause such symptoms in the individual. It might be worth looking into.

good luck.

This is very interesting. I suffer from unexplained panic attacks that come on all of a sudden, and I've suspected supernatural reasons for a long time. CM, how would one look into this? Are there any specific things/symptoms that would point to this conclusion as opposed to a medical reason?

You can PM and we'll discuss it there so as to not take this too far off topic. I simply mentioned it as something to consider.

Hi HD:

I am sad to hear about your panic attacks. I am even more sad that I have nothing that I can recommend to someone who has taken so much time to help so many people on the forums.

Yet, I will add your name to my prayers at night. I will burn a healing candle for you.

May God bless you.

Anxiety is my thing. I do the medication route and must say, cannot function without valium, xanax, etc. BUT, I also note.. my anxiety is a good guide for me. Sometimes when I feel anxious, my work is working (love spell) I'm tuned in.. too much so. I LOVE the button idea. I may do that. I found a strand of beads one day in a shopping cart and have adopted them as my worry beads. Bottom line, if you can, embrace the anxiety to a degree. it may be your gut telling you something; if you need medication, take it; and by all means, use natural stuff. I find LM's 711 Oil and Tranquility Oil very helpful. On the wrist, breathe deeply

Could the IS have something to do with this? HD has mentioned working with it in previous posts, and some think that working with it can cause anxiety. Personally, I have never worked with the IS, so maybe someone more knowledgeable could comment

This is true I have worked with the IS, a very long while ago. As I said my own readings and those of an AIRR reader has shown that the cause is not spiritual. Thank you for mentioning that tho, it is a very important point to look at in cases like mine, has the subject done some form of harsh work and hasn't kept up a spiritual cleansing and protection routine?( I have ;) )

I want to thank everyone who has posted to this thread, you've all given me a lot of very good ideas and great advice. The support, both here and in PM's, is truly heartwarming. Thank, my friends.

You know I have been having the same problem off and on for several years. As soon as I bought LM's Crown of Success Oil for a little extra boost of confidence, I found it helped immensely with my anxiety and made me feel like I could fend off the attacks. Not sure why but perhaps worth a try? :)

Hi Everyone,

I need some help. I recently quit my job after 1 month working as an assistant for a well known friend of mine. I took the job as a favor to her which I was only going to be paid a commission on after she made her money. My job was not hard however I did not have any of the required resources to do my job. She didn't provide me with what I needed to do my job so I decided to quit. And I never got paid even for the work I did for her during that time.

Although she is by nature a nice person, the problem was that I felt that I could never do anything right for her even though I have plenty of experience. Some how her negative remarks really got me and now I feel low and second guessing everything I do. Is there anything I can do to help bring my self esteem back. It's not the money that I am owed. I am more upset over what this whole thing has done to my confidence. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

1. do some cleansing work...this can be done with various methods such as a 13 herb bath...uncrossing bath crystals and so on

2. Look into some John the conqueror spell kit or products to help increase your personal power, and you might want to get some crucible of courage work going too.
Thank u St. Martha for everything you have done on my behalf.

I would focus on helping him through his grief first. Healing and Blessing condition products are really lovely and can help support his efforts. Hopefully he is already seeing a grief counselor to help him deal with and process all of this. Magical actions need to be backed by real-world work - so if he is not already, encouraging him to see someone who can help him, while working Healing/Blessing for him, would be very helpful.

I'm sorry to bother y'all with this, but my Grandfather just died. We had a beautiful and personal CATHOLIC funeral and rosary/ vigil for him. He was very catholic for a 92 year-old racist German farmer and actually despite all his flaws he was very spiritual, family oriented, loving and loved. I don't doubt he's at peace in the next life, he's happy, and in heaven with Jesus and all the family and friends that went before him. Btw my family is strong catholic, but thanks to my Grandma Mary and Aunts we're also new age-like and thanks to my mother we have a real respect for diversity, etc. And I went to catholic grade-school, middle school, & high school-- thank God not college! But my Aunt Jackie is a spiritualist and I'm sure what believe, but I know this: every religion has truths that we need to follow. Anyways, I want to do just some sort of prayer/ blessing/ just something for my deceased Grandpa Robert. Also his wife my Croatian [gypsy/ Balkan-like] Grandma Mary (Marija) is very sad, depressed, blames herself, lost her best friend and husband of 65 years. So, I want something that'll help her move on, grow, still love and miss him, but help hear. For example after he died in the hospital, she locks herself in the house, and wouldn't see or talk to anyone for days until that afternoon of the vigil which is extreamly unusual for this hyper social, strong, spiritual, before-her-time, ethnic woman. I love her very much and am very close to her. I don't know how, but I was the only one who could convince her to go to the vigil for him. She is so crushed, so please help me help her. I trust y'all and she trusts me-- HELP US PLEASE!

The Healing and Blessing line of products are extremely lovely and would be perfect to help bring calm, comfort, and healing to everyone involved. You could have MISC set the candles for you, or you could order dressed vigil candles, or buy the oils, baths, incenses and use them in various ways around your own home. Giving the bath salts as a gift would be a wonderful way to get the beneficial results to those who may not be living with you - just empty the salts into a jar, pray over them, and then gift them!

Have any spell suggestions to help someone hurry through a mid-life crisis... or at least keep his thinking straight?

Give up.. I have two separate friends.. one male, one female, who are both going through this.. but not in the typical cheating, fast car, dressing act inapprorpriately way..

Oh no.. my friend who has a 14 year old daughter refuses to discipline her, says the teachers are picking on her, takes her to Jonas Brother concerts, etc. and wants desperately to be the cool mom. My male friend has two daughters in college and actually is going to try and relocate so he can be near them. Now part of me thinks these folks need to cut the apron strings.. and then it hit me!! This has nothing to do with their respective children. They each are trying desperately to live vicariously through their kids. Lady thinks someone will mistake her for going to the junior prom; and guy friend probably thinks he'll be mistaken for his daughter's date. Bottom line, when people are so insecure they start "reverting" backwards because they dread their own age, they are a lost cause. Just cut & clear yourself from the insanity.. or maybe do a healing/blessing candle for the person because I truly believe they are mentally slipping.

Good luck.. hope it works out for you - as for me, I just make fun of them to their faces :D

Nothing like bursting someone's bubble of delusion.

You can use Clarity and King Solomon Wisdom to help them think clearly and make wise decisions - use a petition to help them see how silly their behavior is.

This person is trying to dress a bit younger - not too bad in that department... is dating a woman 20 years his junior who is clearly using him. He met her on a sort of mailorder bride site... he comes to his senses for a bit then falls back in. During his off times he says he feels like dying, is confused etc. When he's thinking clearly says he feels like he's in a daze, isn't sure what is happening to him... he suspects it's a mid-life crisis but refuses talking to a therapist.

He's starting a new phase in his life and is having a little trouble adjusting. How about a Road Opener or Ganesh candle so he can see that that this is not the end but the beginning of a new cycle? Many people now are still living productive lives into their 80's, so his life is hardly over.

Most men fantasize about younger women and are encouraged to do so by the media, which constantly shows older men with women young enough to be their daughters (or granddaughters!). Also, many men are threatened by women their own age and prefer someone they can still impress with their worldly sophistication. ;) The ego boost and status (in the eyes of other men) of having a younger girlfriend is worth a lot to such a man, even if the woman is obviously using him.

I like the Road Opener idea... I have been lighting one for myself monthly. He's seriously going though something... one minute he feels he's running out of time another minute he's fine. He's in GREAT shape for his age health, looks, etc.

The younger woman situation is very frustrating for me... as if me being 12 years his junior wasn't enough.

Hi!
I'm a situation where...the people i love are far away. My mum is near comatose (sleeping all the time) and she's on the highest legal dose of anti-depressants. I know her self esteem is low. I've tried everything, short of putting myself in the hospital so she'll feel needed. The question is..

Is there anything i can do while I wait for my healing oil to show up?

My partner is extrememly stressed due to an ongoing custody battle (years!!!), as well as the everyday stresses of life like work and so on. We have a court date coming up in about a month and he is now falling apart physically (and probably emotionally) He is having specific problems with his mouth being sore and now neck pain. Anyone have any suggestions on what can help this problem and maybe some suggestions on books or wesites to help us as references for common issues that we can use in everyday life?
We have also had a lot of problems in our relationship and letting go of past problems. We would love to strengthen the relationship and move forward and have children. Any suggestions on how to grow closer and be a stronger couple would be very much appreciated.

I know from personal experance that yes stress can cause alot of physical ailments... Beyond doing hoodoo you might want to ask him to consider seeing a therapist b/c like I said from personal experance these types of things can lead to mental/emotional breakdown and will effect your physical health so along with the magick I'd suggest seeking out a good therapist as well.

I can personally add that I struggle with a ridiculous stressful work environment and it does, indeed, manifest in my body as illness. Neck, back, legs...you name it. I have changed my diet and my exercise patterns and these have helped some, but it really helps me to meditate, do light yoga, and try to relax while IN the actual stressful situation. I'm getting better at it....

Good luck to you and yours...

My 10 year old niece ( husband's brother's child) died unexpectedly due to complications from a tracheotomy removal. She was 100% the night she went to bed, with clearance and monitoring from doctors, but passed in her sleep that night. We have all had a huge shock, needless to say and as the only Seer/Worker in my family I've been doing my best to calm all and help her on her journey. I stayed up the night after we got the news she passed and held watch-did some ancestral work, spoke with her and tried to explain what was going on and get some of my own grief out....dressed a candle in rose oil( and a little bit of high John for courage/success for her) and have been keeping it lit constantly until she is buried on Tuesday afternoon. I've been leaving food ( chocolate- her favorite) and nourishment in our living room and we've been over to his brother's house every day to be with them. She will have an honored place in our home with the rest of our beloved ancestors and I've offered to clean her parents home for them- suggestions on oils or washes i can use? but can not think of much else to do for her...

is there something else I can do? Keep in mind that her family and the rest of my extended family are of a religion that wouldn't approve of open work, although explained in certain terms I was able to tell my sister in law that we had a picture and candle lit for Aspen until after the funeral.

I hope this makes sense- grief might be making my normally coherent and collected ability to communicate a little difficult to understand.
Thank you in advance for your assistance- I'm sorry that this has to be my first post to the forums.

p.s.- I know this is not something conjure generally addresses and I'm new to the formal practice. I was introduced to it in March this year by Orion Foxwood and have Cat Yronwode's book and have been reading histories, cultural anthropology studies and other reputable books on the subject and practicing making mojo bags but that's about as far as my practice goes.

I would set up and keep an altar going for her. White candles are best. Perhaps, a Blessing Candle. Lots of prayers to and for her. Not sure if you are trying to communicate with her (if that's the case, bowl of fresh water on the altar is very helpful), flowers, chocolate is excellent, a photo of her (alone). If you are trying to help her find peace and to let go to everything earth bound, I would do Miracle/Blessing/Healing type candles. Tough call. My heart goes out to you and your family. The death of a child is an enormous loss, it's burying the future.

PS - you may want to do healing candles for her parents, siblings, etc. Lots of tranquility if you have it on hand.

Suzyparker-
I'm doing the altar for her with white, cream and light blue candles which are burned in a large vase with cool water in the bottom of it. They are dressed with rose oil, the water changed, the wicks are trimmed each night and morning. And the picture of her alone is there too. I'm not trying to communicate with her, as much as to communicate to her that we love her and she is safe on the other side to do what she needs to there with the ancestors and dear spirits... and that we are taking care of her family. That she won't be forgotten...etc.

I would like to do some blessing/healing candles for her family ( mother, father and sister) ...Tranquility what? candles?

I'll be ordering things from lucky mojo since i have hardly anything on hand except your standard kitchen herbs and some high john, devil's shoestring oil.- but i don't know where to start. I know that the physical and emotional comfort we are giving to my husband's brother and his family is the best magic- but i'd like to add some extra umph..yah know?

So I am thinking that I will buy the Tranquility Sachet Powder to sprinkle in the carpet, Plain White Glass-Encased Candle, Fixed for her family and some Peace water to mix with the water i will wash the floor/ walls with or using the tranquility bath crystals for that...I haven't decided yet.
I can't think of anything else that I can do but the real service of cleaning their home and the added bonus of some conjure work. Any other suggestions?

I can't think of anything else that I can do but the real service of cleaning their home and the added bonus of some conjure work. Any other suggestions?

I wish I was more experienced so that I may offer some suggestions but what you are doing sounds wonderful. Just knowing that you are there and that you are doing all that you can for them will be comfort in itself. I do not know what religion your family is but maybe one of the saints would be of some help and comfort to them in their time of need. Being a mother I think knowing that our Mother Mary looking over my family and my beloved daughter would be of comfort. Just a thought.

I will continue to keep your family in my prayers. God bless you all and may you find peace throught these difficult times.

Thank you Faith. The rest of my family is mormon so they don't really use saints or Mary in their iconography. Although they were not active members of the church I don't see them responding really to the Holy Mother. I myself have no issue using a saint's prayer or some litany while I'm cleaning (suggestions??) but they've already been pushed in the direction of the mormon religion by other family members and rather than add a different, loud oppinion on how I think they should heal and who they should go to for comfort...I suppose I will add my quite, calm engery with the help of my gods and spirits to add to it. They will do the work regardless of their (the grieving parents) feelings towards them (the spirits/dieties) I'm pretty sure.

I wish I knew the psalms better so that I could be of more help. When all else fails I always refer back to the Our Father. And a sincere prayer to Mary to comfort the family will always be heard. I'm sure any saint that you are familiar with or have worked with before will be more than willing to help under these circumstances if asked.

I am very sorry for your loss. I do not have a smart appropriate answer for this, but maybe some white candles and prayer.
SH of Jesus, but I do not know what faith you are. I saw the post and just wanted to say I am very sorry for your loss.

Triplethreat- Thank you for your condolences. I myself am a polytheist pagan with roots in Celtic cosmology and ancestral worship. I have no issue using christian imagry or words though to accomplish a job.
What would be the best way to use SH of jesus?

Could I pour the Tranquility powder into some baking soda and use it as a carpet freshener?

Can I mix the oil with water in a spray bottle and use it to help me clean the walls?

I really do not know. Hopefully, you will get some good feedback from Stars, Devi, HD, Conjurman, Cleo, LitLion, Cognativediss,--and several more (just because I did not name, there are several more--list is long-- in the forum I track and follow, because they all seem to know what they are doing.) anyway, hopefully one of these "wise ones" as I call them will answer back.
I have burned SH of Jesus Candle for cleansing and purification. It is 8.50 I just checked the LM Catalog for you.
As for the powder and oil, most of the products do come with instructions. You might already know, but you can go to the inventory and search and also look in Ms. Cat's on line book.
I'm sure someone else will post who is far more knowledgable than I am to help you during this time of greef, with what else you could do.
Again, very sorry for your loss.

Miss Tammie Lee-
I've checked Ms Cat's books, both on line and off ( i've got a hard copy of her hoodoo book). I try to check sources before asking a question but a lot of it seems like you just have to do it and see what works. lol. i will check again though to see if I'm missing anything.
I get to wait on the SH of jesus products (thanks for checking on the price btw) I just placed an order for some of the basic cleansing and blessing items..and a blessing candle but we are helping with some of the funeral and medical expenses so..money is a little tighter than normal for us poor college kids... I'm sure I will add it to my list of things to get for continued work. It sounds like a good tool.
Thank you again for your support ( everyone). It means a lot.

My deepest condolences to your family. I have a ten-year-old daughter and can imagine what the child's parents are going through.

Healing and Blessing products are good. Other ideas are Guardian Angel (or Archangel Gabriel or Archangel Raphael) or Our Lady of Grace (or any other depicting the Virgin Mary). Dress a white vigil candle with oil and glue her picture to the glass. When it is done, you can get a wax refill and dress it again.

Mama Micki - hug your daughter tonight and tell her you love her.... and thank you for the condelences. we are all still in shock and will be for some time.

I'm having LM dress the first candle ( a white one with no label) but I will dress that will be burned in their home the day that I clean and the rest of the time I will replace the wax, dress it and burn it at her grave site when I can..... I don't want to seem to be pushing my family too much into doing hoodoo work- they don't mind my quirkyness every now and again and if they seem to find comfort from it I have no issue showing them a few things and letting them continue it.... but like i said before they are already being pushed by other religious fronts.

I like the idea of guardian angel products too...

Hey all,
I was just wondering, can i do any ritual/spells etc for this guy who really needs to forget his ex/his past with her and move forward in life. He is stuck to the past, and can't seem to move on. For his own good, and for his own future, i want his past burden to be eased. I care about him a lot. And due to this, our friendship even ceased.. What can i do for his sake? I have already got a reading an instructions on how to restore my friendship with him.

Please gimme some ideas.. Thanks..

You should follow the instructions the reader gave you and first work on restoring your friendship with the guy. As far as making this guy forget about his past or his ex, I think that's going to be a rather difficult working as a person has to want to move on to actually move on. If this guy sees no real problem with his behavior, despite the fact that living in the past is holding him back from the present, no spell is going to make him stop.

Thanks for the input.. I will work on restoring our friendship, that's for sure.. I am not asking him to forget his past so it will be an advantage for me, but he has addressed many times to me he realy wants to forget her, forget the past, as that's over, but he can't seem to, and he is no believer to Hoodoo etc, so i can't even suggest him do anything magic. But i thought i'd be able to help him ease his burden, get a clear mind and be able to move forward in life, wether it be with me or anyone else, but first his past needs to diminish. So he can open up his heart and mind..

I'm not doubting your motives for wanting to help but again, this guy has to want to change for any change to occur. If he's been going round in circles like this for years but taken no real steps to move on, he's not ready to move on. Obsessing and holding on to the past can be a way of life for some people. He may need to go get counseling to help him learn how to let go and move on.

I suppose you could work some Crucible of Courage products on him to give him courage to face this problem and to move on, but I get the feeling he may be using his past as an excuse to not make any commitments in the present.

Well, according to the reading i got, he is really deeply hurt from his past, and his deep feelings for the ex is the one causing him unable to move on..
On another note, he actualy left the country for 2 1/2 yrs after he broke up with her and only to finally return this year.. But as we got closer, a lot of things i do or say reminded him of his ex.. Well, i never knew her or him before, so i have absolute no idea how she is etc.. I dont even ask, when he's down he pours his feelings out to me, and i listen.. As time past by, we got more closer, and talks of his ex diminshed.. But suddenly, he used it now when when he couldn't have a commitment.. Well i thought it was an excuse as well, but according to the reading i got, it is genuine.. He still is unable to forget her n the memories.. But she is already married by the way.. And he says no ways in the world he would ever get back with her, but he is still not over her..

I'm with thelightfantastic on this one. You can do work to help your target with cleansing, healing, clarity and/or courage so that he can deal with his past, but you can't make him move on if it doesn't come from him. It sounds like these issues are deeply-seated and you'd want to consult your worker how you can tackle them - in fact, I'd hire the worker to do at least part of the work, after your friendship is somewhat restored/you're getting positive movements.

Thanks guys for the input.. Yeh, my main focus is restoring our friendship, but when things r looking positive for that then i shall consult a rootworker to see what can be done for him, wether it be courage to help him, cleansing, healing etc.. Im just really worried about him.. He totally dropped the world and left, and he is finally taking one step now to build his life once again.. I just hope all goes well for him.. And am reali hoping our friendship will be restored..

has anyone had a person have adverse affects to touching LM products or kosher salt?

i sprayed watered down tranquility/peaceful home/Chinese wash over my furniture and put salt in the corners of the more common rooms and one of my friends is totally freaking out when she walked in, says the house stinks and bounces around, bangs doors, shouts, argues and just totally acted whacked. my teenage son says it burns feels hot like touching iron, he also said that the tablespoon of salt i had him toss in his bath, felt the same way.

I haven't had that experience. They may be allergic to something; it seems that type of reaction is not necessary but hey to each his own.

Sounds like fear and, perhaps a sign that all is not right with them.

Salt is just salt. I have no idea what your son means by saying "hot like touching iron" (iron can be any temperature, including freezing cold) but if it was not saltier than the sea, if should not burn -- and a tablesppon in the bath, which is what you said you used, should should not be overly salty.

Chinese wash and Peaceful Home and Tranquility products do have an aroma -- and many people comment that Chinese Wash reminds them of Lemon-Scented Pledge furniture polish.

These reactions are unusual, to say the least.

I haven't had any problems with kosher salt or LM Chinese Wash. Most of my friends & family are unaware of my spiritual practices (which is exactly how I want it!), and many comment how peaceful and comfortable the house feels after I've used Chinese Wash to mop the floors & wipe the cupboards and countertops.

Salt readily dissolves in water esp. the small amount you used, so I'm unsure how the salt felt hot to the touch for your son unless the water itself was too hot.

Dunno.

a quick shower cleared up my son, im not going to be able to put any fiery wall of protection on him i guess,

the other two had no reaction to either.

im still confused, as to why, but im sure that someone out there has the answer

Well, i just looked up how much water the average bathtub holds, and it is like 75 to 80 gallons. Even counting the displacement of a human body, the amount of water would be 45 - 50 gallons. So -- a tablespoon of salt in 50 gallons of water wouldn't even taste salty, much less burn the skin. I mean, straight salt right out of a salt box won't burn your skin except for where you have cuts or if you get it in your eyes, nostrils, or sensitive membranous areas.

I dunno, hon, this all sounds kinda off-base to me.
