I think working on someone that is knowledgeable about magic or hoodoo is TOTALLY different than someone that has not clue. I mean I have a friend who does not do magic but he knows when something is up. But someone that doesnt have a clue and is not in contact with someone that is knowledgeable about magic is probably not going to suspect its magic. They are just going to think something weird is going on, and then they are probably going to resist. If you pick at the person long enough and chop down that resistance...you can accomplish your goal. It is just going to take more than a spell kit, or some more work like road opener, banishing work, or domination work.

I saw a reference to invisibility spell few times on this forum, but not the actual spell. Can somebody please share more info on this, or is there a spell kit for it to use?

There are amulets that hide your spiritual presence but physical humph! and I do not think there is a kit available but call the shop if no one responds. Also I have seen reference to it as well.

Physical invisibility is difficult to acheive and the methods for it require years and years of preparation and training to acheive. In hoodoo only the black cat bone spell seems to afford one physical invisibility, though there are other means to keep yourself from being noticed and hide your self from people's "sight."

Look at the various amulets that LM has that can help accomplish this goal. You can wear an Indian Head Penny which is used for more than keeping the law away. It can be used as a lookout and also keep people's sight away from you. This can afford a form of invisibility. Banishing products can help people blend in by Banishing people's attention. Also look into Cat's Eyes.

Psychic invisibility is about being beneath people's perceptions. If you blend in well enough, keep people from perceiving your presence, you acheive a form of invisibility. In fact many "invisibility spells" used by the neopagan movment along with more modern energy-based systems try to achieve this state of blending in.

I've used several of these methods and their variations along with other things for similar effects.

I made an invisibilty spell, and it's pretty simple.

You need some gauzey shimery fabric and some personal concerns. You can put the concerns into a doll baby orinto a bottle with protective herbs, whatever works for you. Write a petition that states that you want to be hidden fromt he eyes of your enemies. Load petition into bottle/sew petition into doll baby. Cover the doll baby/bottle with the gauze. You've essentially hidden your essence by covering it with a shimering veil that can't properly be seen through. You can burn candles to aid the effect, or you can use protection oil on the gauze. Keep the jar/doll baby wrapped up for as long as you want to remain 'invisible'.

I do have others, but that one is the simplest by far. Also, the others aren't based on Hoodoo or similar traditions, so you would need to PM me if you were interested.

Sage smoke and Tobacco smoke can work to form a protective barrier of invisibility. If you create a protection jar blow some smoke into it while praying that the smoke obscure the sight of others seeking you out.

You can also work with Black Mustard Seeds and Poppy Seeds. While they don't create invisibility, they do create confusion among those seeking you and can trip them up.

Dream sharing and talking about dreams is quite common in conjure, African-American, and some Native American cultures. Individual's are careful about who they share dreams with--typically its friends, family, and then perhaps spiritual leaders/teachers if the dream seems to have a spiritual significance.

I would like to toss in my two cents on the subject of keeping quiet about your magical workings.

I was buying some lottery tickets and I was standing behind a woman.
She gave the clerk a few tickets and asked him to scan them to see if they were winners.
I hear the click of the terminal and know that sound. No winner. He tells her, “Sorry no winners on these.”
She looks at me and says rather annoyed “I NEVER win anything.”

I should have just said, “Better luck next time” but I said “I do. I win all the time.”

I think my response was, in my mind a way to block those bad vibes that she was giving off since lately I had been winning something on every draw. (two thumbs up to a lucky mojo Mojo Bag for giving me a boost)

What happened next blew my mind.
She glared at me and said “WELL that must be NICE FOR YOU!”
She grabbed her cigarettes and turned and stormed out of the store.
A guy in line behind me said, “Wow, you pushed her button!”
As I left the store, I saw her sitting in her car with the window down glaring at me.
I turned to walk away and she yelled at me her, voice filled with contempt, “A**HOLE!”

I laughed all the way back to my office.

I am sure there are many ways to interpret what happened, but my feeling is “keep it to yourself.”

I feel the next scenario is even more pointed in the “keep it to yourself category”.

I have read that when you do a magical working and have success that you should thank all who helped you in whatever way you feel is appropriate.

I think we have seen are those little classified ads that say “thank you St. Jude for prayers answered”.

So I decided to post an online “thank you” ad in a newspaper.
This was a free service, most papers offer them.

It was short but did mention that I used magic to win money.

I never thought to go back and look at it. The website I used was set up so any post could be replied to.

A week later I wanted to post again because I had won again, and when I went back I saw there were over a hundred replies to my post.

Every reply was filled with rage.
Every reply was an insult.
The first 15 or so were directed at me and then the thread started to attack one another.

I was floored…

But I did laugh.

I felt that I had a look into the part of human nature that had been referred to as “crabs in a bucket”.

If you have ever been crabbing you have seen this in action.
You catch a bunch of crabs and put them in a bucket to take home.
They try to escape. But can’t because when one crab starts to get out, another crab grabs it to escape but all he does is pull that crab back down.

I don’t want to open a can of psychological worms with all this. I just wanted to remind all of you, all of us, that no matter what magic you do, no matter what spell you weave, keep it to yourself or in the group.

That way you don’t have to deal with the bad vibes that almost certainly will be directed at you from all those crabs.

If you're a naturally enthusiastic and positive person, one wants to share good news, maybe hoping that it becomes an inspiration, too. Sometimes it does. But other times, your joy makes other people aware of their own pain and they want to clobber you. Urgh. Your stories are a good reminder about the risk of sharing: that you might have to deal with a bunch of negative energy thrown at you.

I have had some unbelievable successes, but don't usually share them. What worked for me may not work for another. Too many variables, such as timing, natural ability, faith, proper tools and ingredients, and unknown factors.

The "crabs in a bucket" idea is so true. Many people hate those who are lucky, who enjoy life, and refuse to live under a lot of ridiculous restrictions.

There are also those of the Western rationalistic viewpoint that love to look down on anyone who believes in magic or in a religion that accepts the reality of miracles. They believe that only those things that can be perceived with the five senses and machines are real and that magic and religion are delusions and superstition. Many secretly believe in the supernatural, especially in times of crisis, but are too afraid of ridicule to admit it.

I have always been taught to keep my magical successes to myself. I even tend to weed out testimonials for magical work and focus more on testimonials for readings. Bragging about magical successes can cause jealousy, strife, and definitely backfire, very true words!

Absolutely. There is a big difference between saying "hey, you know, try putting some five finger grass in that honey jar, it might make a big difference!" and saying "You know when I started putting five finger grass in my honey jars I got everything I wanted and then some, I started casting more powerful and difficult spells and now I am so popular that I don't have enough time to shower!" See the difference? We want to provide useful tips and tricks for one another here, but bragging is just not advised for your own sake, and as always your mileage may vary.

i can definately add my own 2c to this post. even with my husband i don't share when i'm working on something. i tried sharing once BEFORE i did the work and it totally backfired, didn't work. he doesn't believe in magic and his negativity ruined my work. i still tell him but only AFTER.

Exactly my thought. The evil eye is all about coveting what someone else has and then drying it up out of jealousy, and it's rarely done on purpose-- I know it's not a hoodoo concept but I think a little caution is a good thing to avoid trouble all the same.

I had lots of bad dreams shortly after I lost everything, its nearly 4 years, and I'm still having the same dreams, I spoke to a sort of reader lady, who told me someone made me lose everything, admittedly I didnt believe her but more and more now, I think she was right. Instead of worrying about getting revenge, you should first get your life back on track. First, look into getting a reading from someone at AIRR to find out more about your situation. If you don't know what's going on or who it is coming from, there's no way you can get revenge anyway. It's also a good idea to know if you're actually crossed up. Sometimes life has a way of piling on the bad luck and it doesn't necessarily any throwing for you. Either way, you need a reader from a competent reader to determine this.

Second, order LM's 13-herb bath and perform that according to the instructions for AT LEAST three days. I would suggest doing the full 13 days of bathing since you indicate that this is a long-standing run of bad luck. You might also be interested in LM's Uncrossing kit. You should also look into LM's Fiery Wall of Protection kit or at the very least, petition Saint Michael with just a simple candle and a prayer for protection.

Even if you're not crossed up, you should be doing regular cleansing and protection so this will be beneficial anyhow. After you get yourself clean and protected, then you can worry about seeking revenge if there's any to seek.

I just want to second Light Fantastic's recommendations. Lots of people are having serious financial problems right now, leading in many cases to homelessness. It's nobody's fault, it's just how things are right now. Certain unscrupulous "readers" will tell people having trouble that it's because of some curse, in order to drain them dry paying for unnecessary spellwork. AIRR readers won't do that to you, or to anyone. You can trust every one of them to give you an honest, insightful reading. So, while uncrossing and protection work is never a bad idea, you should get a second opinion before spending a lot of time and energy on useless revenge work, when there's no one to take revenge on.

Has anyone ever done this? you are preparing a hand, or some similar good luck charm for someone yet you want the person to become attracted to you. Can you add other oils, powders, etc. to it that YOU want but tell them it's a good luck hand? I've personally never done this and was wondering. You give someone a green hand for luck at gambling yet you dress it or smoke it with something you want. Will that work?

In that case, unless the target was familiar with rootwork and the herbs/curios used therein, I would fix the mojo to draw them to me. Put some appropriate love-drawing oils in a bottle marked "good luck oil" or whatever for them to dress it with. Sew a horseshoe charm to the outside. Then give it to them. Give them a seperate bottle of Fast Luck or something and tell them to wear a little each day - that way they will be drawing good luck, but attribute it to the mojo - the mojo goes on drawing them to you, and being dressed appropriately etc.

If they are familiar with rootwork, you may have to find some other way - they may smell that the mojo dressing oil is not in line with other luck products and become suspicious &/or open the mojo and see the wrong herbs, etc.

It may be a bit late for your case suzyparker, but maybe you can get some use out of this.

I suggest you start with a moving lodestone spell, take a matched pair of he and she stones, name the he stone for him, the she stone for yourself, dress your stone with your red and his with whatever personal concerns you have, or place his picture under it. Move them together over the course of seven days, feeding them each day. After they meet carefully separate the two stones, making sure to keep as much magnetic sand on them as you can. Put your stone in his bag, and put his in a bag you make for yourself. That will draw you two together as surely as those lodestones where drawn together the first time.

Like I said this might be too late for you if your planing on giving it to him this weekend, but perhpas it will be of use to someone else.

The latest turn of events... I'm working on the hand.. lots of love herbs and oils, both of our effects in a "good luck" pouch. He told me last night on the phone he's going to keep it in his office so it brings him success with stocks, etc. as well as gambling.

So, if he's not wearing it or carrying it.. is it pointless? it will be in his possession, but if it's just sitting on his desk or something?

I did tell him it will need to be fed weekly and he said that he would let me take care of that? Obviously, I will continue feeding it love oils, etc. but if he's not carrying it?

Well, it doesn't sound like he really understands how a mojo is meant to work. The point is for HIM to develop a good working relationship with the hand - not for him to delegate feeding to someone else. If he's just planning on using it for stocks and gambling, then leaving it near where he does that is fine...but it's not ideal for your sneaky trick at all.

You may want to think of a new way to go about it if he's not going to keep it on him, and not even going to make the effort to feed it himself.

You know, one thing I do when trying to sell something that might work here since you are going to be given access to his workplace (and YES lay tricks while doing it), is I make a small packet that I stick to an inconspicuous place. Take a pinch of your herbs and curios, and then fold them neatly inside the petition paper. Anoint with appropriate oils, etc. Then fold the packet up tight and tie with some twine that you've dressed with the right oils, too. It should be no bigger than a quarter or so. Then you stick that somewhere on his desk that he'll likely never find it but always be near it when he's there- like behind it, or underneath the PC moniter stand, or something.

Although I initially wanted to post this in my other topic, it was too unrelated.
I have recently started working on a target and yesterday I was doing something and he decided to come by, although he called it was only about a minute before he actually showed up. I had to rush to put up my items and although nothing was in plain sight, I wanted to keep the candles going so left them on in a room but even though I closed the door you could still see the room glowing. It might be my nervousness (since although I have done work on other things but just not on him before) but I think he might suspect something. He is also nosy, so he asks whats that smell, or other questions that sound like he is suspicious.

He also made a comment a long time ago that I must have some type of Voodoo on him to keep him all head over heels for me-- even though at this time I wasnt doing anything at all.

What suggestions does anyone have on this? I dont wanna be nervous everytime I try to do some work.

In the rare occassions that someone who doesn't know me well has come over just after I've been working and asked, I just say that I was meditating or praying.

However, one of my best defenses with most of the people in my life who aren't close enough to know all the gory details of things, is that I nearly always have candles going when company is over, and I burn incense daily just for atmosphere - so people are used to there being candles and incense at my place at all times. Most times it's just for decor and atmosphere when company is over, but in the cases that my work is evident in some way, no one is suspicious - since my place always smells exotic and has a lovely glow.

If it's your home, why do you have to tell him anything? If he asks, tell him you were meditating or praying and the candle helps you focus or that you just felt like lighting a candle. If he doesn't say anything, then stop worrying about it.

Perhaps start? May sound silly, but if he gets used to seeing candles going in your place and things placed around them, he'll be less likely to wonder what's going on. For years I always had vigil candles going in my place, both because after hours working in a nightclub, candle light is very soothing, and to have ones offered to my deities on their altars. No one ever thought twice about them when they'd come over because that's what I always did.

The question was what do you do when the target you are working sees or suspects they are being worked on? My concern is not whether or not he will ask about it--- sure I can tell him anything I want, my concern is if he sees it and runs or if he suspects and runs--- I think if he believes our relationship is due to my working he probably would be less inclined to stay, it probably wouldnt matter much that I just started it, he might believe that I have been doing this all along and be bothered by it. Certainly others who have worked a target they wanted to bring closer have had close calls or even when they have tried to deploy a bad trick at someones home. This is what I am asking about.

And based on the notion that workings are supposed to be kept secret, I did not want him to see it especialy since his picture was there.

When your target says things, just don't give it any creditability. Again as someone said it is your home...I wouldn't be too concerned about him not coming around because your spell work is bringing him...and it seems he is interested anyway...just keep it up!

You've gotten some great practical advice. You can follow that up with some magical work to help. Scattering a bit of Poppy Seeds near your house or including it in a particuarly work can help to keep your target off your trail, weaken them to your suggestions, etc. If this is a love target and you are afraid of using Poppy seeds you can use Poppy Flowers which are great for mental influence. I believe LM is out of stock, but you can check in with them.

You can also place Bay Leaves in the corners of your room or altar which not only keeps things from being reversed onto you, but can protect your work from prying eyes.

I saw this post when you first posted it and for whatever reason (maybe because im more of a lurker and learner than an active participant) didn't respond.

A primary belief of mine, is that you attract what you put out. So if you put out positive 'vibes' and emotions, it comes back to you in a positive manner. If you are a negative person, you attract more negativity. Ever notice how people who complain about their lives constantly, rarely have anything positive to say about their lives?

I too play the lottery and have reasonable success with it. the regular cashier I see has commented several times how I seem to win a lot....I havent won the jackpot yet,but perhaps some day my turn will come You never know.
