Yes! That is an excellent use of Cast Off Evil products! To do work on behalf of someone else I would recommend using a white or a light blue candle. Hope this helps!

To write the petition for the work on behalf of another would I just write his name 3 times, turn the paper 90 degrees to the right and then write the negative influence's name 3 times, write the petition around the crossed writing in a complete circle without lifting the pen and fold it away from me 3 times before placing it under the candle?

Also, I don't have any white or blue figural candles. I only have some white, pale blue or very pale yellow small candles which only take about an hour to burn. Would it be alright to use one of those dressed in cast off evil oil with maybe a small amount of clarity oil and just use a new candle every day for a while?

Hello all,

I normally navigate the forums and find answers to help me create solid spell workings, but sometimes I get a little stumped in what approach to take.

Situation:
So my best friend (he’s a guy) has some serious issues with love/sex addiction. When I met him 3 years ago he was with a woman he didn’t love, he cheated on her with 10 different women over the course of 3.5 years, mostly ex partners. When they broke up she was pregnant having secretly come off the pill…now the baby is 5 months old and he is the court system fighting for access to his child etc. He was single for 6 weeks after they split, during which time he slept with another 3 ex partners one which thought she was pregnant to him too and then he started seeing another woman. It was a tumultuous, obsessive and heated relationship but he claimed to be more in love than he had ever been. When they had their breakups throughout, he slept with another woman and now they broke up for good. Now the relationship ended and within ONE week he had slept with another ex and started seeing the rebound girl and is talking of commitment with her. He says she is nice and normal but I know he is settling and falling into his addiction again, as opposed to truly healing from the past messes and disasters he created and falling in love again for good and healthy reasons.

I know he has done some very, very disturbing things sexually and that he watches a lot of porn and as his friend I think I would prefer the latter to his addiction to women and the euphoria he gets from sex/love that just results in horrible relationships with broken and troubled and abusive women. He has a strong spiritual (Christian) support and connection to God and is currently in therapy addressing this issue amongst others and has at various stages asked me for help. So I was looking through the 'cast off evil' information and the first part of the spell work I have no problems with. However, the second part is trickier, what do I put in a bottle or jar instead of alcohol (as its not his addiction)? A petition paper? A lot like anorexia/bulimia and not being able to completely cut off food from ones life, I don’t want to cut off his ability to make love in a healthy happy relationship, just his addiction to getting all his validation through sex and romantic relationships. In fact, both his therapist and I have advised the exact same thing of taking some time out from relationships and sex and start finding ways for self-validation before the next partner. (He’s an incredible musician, photographer and generally amazingly creative.)

I also have banishing oil and thought of doing something with that, but again I am wary of the wording and steps being I don’t wish to banish all relationships, love or sex completely from his life (although I do believe some penis time-out would be awesome for him

).

As far as the petition, banish all deviant sexual behaviors.

Wow, firstly Thank you louisianairis for that great spell!

just wondering though, if this can be altered for use in a trauma situation? Like, negative memories you cling to that cause anxiety, flashbacks, emotional pain, etc. to "cast them away". I feel like the intent and energy manifested for this spell for that use can be quite strong/emotional.

Im currently compiling an order of missing materials to begin a series of works on uncrossing, protecting, healing/blessing,block busting, road opening (the latter two some of my favorite type of work!) (as cat once said, I too am one of those people that prefers to have dinner all at the table at dinnertime instead of going back to the kitchen lol

)

As someone in this thread suggested, I will be working with St. Dymphna as well, (along with therapy) as she is marvelous and has aided me in the past.

But anyway, would it be possible to alter louisianairis' spell for something like this, if so how? Or would the cast off evil full kit be the best way to go? please advise. thank you all so much for your time!

Block buster is a good place to start. I would focus on how the trauma impacts person, are they unable to have relationship, do they fear the person who caused them harm, or does this prevent them from moving on? I like a good bottle spell, the old remove negativity spell, gather pins, nails, needles, razor blades, dead bugs, and in this case maybe small baby doll, or toy something remind of childhood lost. Fill with war water, vinegar, ammonia, depending on desired result, and either bury it like something dead so it can't do you harm, or toss it in a river to move away from you. If we want to play the saint card, St. Marta good for families, St. Elijah case out demons, St. Alex or Alejo banish evil, St. Ann protects grandchildren. At the end of the day there is no spell do undo what has been done, you can use ritual to help people move on, to realize you cant change the past, but that's why we call it past its done.

Do you happen to have a link to that container spell? I would think that would have the opposite effect, but, Im no expert by any means. So It would be interesting to read up on it.

And of course, i apologize for my context. But that is what I mean by "casting off", moving on from those feelings,casting them away. (I considered cut and clear,but again, i do not know if it can be altered/done for something like this but rather used for actual relationships)

The intent is to move on and stop thinking of the events, hopefully easing the intrusion of those memories.(cast them off if you will) Hence working with a therapist as well. I thought that spell could be altered for this but perhaps a different course of action is necessary. :/

I think louisianairis' spell would work beautifully for your purposes, but I also think some Healing work would be really helpful for you as well. Like a bath with Healing bath crystals after the 13-herb bath that louisianairis recommends to cap off that spell, or creating a Healing mojo bag after you've completed the Cast Off Evil spell. You'll know the method that'll work best for you.

Hey all,
My boyfriend cheated and we broke it off after I lost it. Its been over a year and we reconciled and started dating again, "judge me if you will but it's my choice".
I'm very paranoid by nature and know any one can hide there true face.

I want to use Cast off evil with a candle on him if there is any shit going on and want to know, if he is being true and I'm just jaded will he be harmed and be sent away if I use it?

Hi All!

Doc Murphy's back!

OK, the earlier thread about using for Cast Off Evil to help with trauma intrigued me... and I thought maybe I'd run something past you all to see what you think of this use... I'm in a really good relationship (finally!) with a wonderful man (double finally!)... but after a year together its become clear that he is holding on to an awful lot of trauma around past relationships and his young son. This fella frankly should be in with a male survivors of domestic abuse support group... stuff was that bad for him. And not just one relationship! He really had a tendency to attract genuinely emotionally unstable and cruel women, and he is still recovering. It's sad.

He's a magical practitioner too, and has done a heck of a job cleaning out his life... but well, there's still mess lingering. And when we get into (stupid) arguments, it's not really about anything, but emotional buttons are being pushed, and feelings are getting hurt. I'm pretty stable compared to his past relationships -- to the point that he's so unsure of what a good relationship is like that he's nervous about it. And well, that's trauma. And I also think that stuff is still hanging in is house that sets him off...

We do talk about it, and that does help, but he's got a billion Scorpios in his chart and just doesn't let things go easily, either.

When I was moving on from bad stuff, I found Cast Off Evil really helpful. Like KABOOM helpful -- that stuff is wonderful. I'm wondering if cleaning up his place again -- subtly -- with COE in the mopwater, and maybe putting the same oils in his shampoo and bodywash bottles is a good way to help him start to cast of what keeps him emotionally trapped. Yes, he needs counseling, and yes, he's got too much pride and doesn't want to hear this from me... but I thought a magical nudge might help start things... he's really a wonderful, caring, hardworking decent man and father, and deserves to be happy...

Anyway, what does anyone think of this use of COE? I'd be obliged for feedback.

So good to chat with you all again. It's been a rough, magically meh year. It's time to get back on the magic!

How would I modify the cast off evil spell on the info page to help my husband get rid of video game addiction. In the bottle it says to put his favorite alcohol, what would I put instead? Instead of get sober, what should I write?

So, my friend is dating this guy. He seems nice, but he's not the best for her. He's very fickle when it comes to people (he's a gemini and not a very grounded one). I don't want to take up too much explaining what's wrong with him, but he'll say he loves her and he might, but I know she deserves someone better, even though she keeps coming back to him after multiple talks of breaking up with him.

I was also suggested to look up an earth spell that will help him ground- grow roots and choose. As I said before, he's a fickle gemini. If he's grounded and he becomes not toxic and supportive (and genuinely apologizes), then cool. If he stays toxic then I have a spell planned for that. I just don't have a spell that makes other people ground or choose. I'm kind of tempted to just get rid of him from our lives tbh. I mean if it's your girlfriend vs a covert narcissistic abuser*, how can you defend the latter against the former?

*he didn't abuse her, but an abuser is an abuser.

I have personally used these two as substitutes for one another. I have also found them to complement each other quite a bit. I don't know if this substitution would work for EVERY situation, but if you feel like it resonates then I'd say go for it!

I've got Cast Off Evil oil and powder and would like to work on myself. I want to cast off depression, negative thoughts, lack of confidence. Should I use a black candle, inscribe my name and all that I want to cast off on the candle, anoint the oil and powders away from me and burn it in 7 days? If I write a petition, should I write "depression, negative thoughts, lack of confidence" and then turn it 90 degrees to the left, crossed over with my name since I want to dominate it and cast it away from me?

I think that sounds like a great spell! But I would recommend inscribing "BANISH depression," "BANISH negative thoughts," etc.

I hope this is the right place to post this question:
So I performed the 7 day ritual- I had to change two aspects of it:
- Instead of burying the remaining candle wax in a cross-roads, I disposed of them in a river ( I couldn't find a crossroads that was safe for me to bury it at

)
- Also, on the 7th night, I let the candle burn, but it took about 22 hours for it to burn out to completion... so disposed of it on the 8th day instead of the 7th.

I hope that it's okay- also wondering ( since I'm not familiar on how to read a candle)- if it's a sign that this candle kept burning for so long?
I took pictures of it as it burned... on my camera, the flame looked like a fireball, or a big bright orb

Good afternoon everyone.

My beloved has a lot of hangers on that I want to get rid of. His house is a place even his married exes use to look rich on social media because it's expensive, large and beautiful. I want to keep them away from the house when he's there and when he's not. I read in another thread about something else that you have to be careful of rain or something else washing it away. We're not in a place where it rains often, but the sprinklers could rinse it away if I put it on the driveway. But if I get it on the doorstep, will it keep them from going to the house?

How else can I right now I can't get my hands on the oil because my local LM person does not have any of the Cast Away Evil oil, but I can get some of the bath crystals. I was thinking about putting it in a spray bottle and spraying it at the foot of his driveway. Is there another way that I can use the crystals until the oil arrives? Thank you!

I think your spray bottle idea is a good one. I would definitely spray the doorstep and even the door itself. Doormat? Spray that too. I think Cast Off Evil is a good choice and if that doesn't results, try mixing it with Banishing.

Would cast off evil be appropriate to use to banish my love interests mother from influencing him to not be involved with me? His mother is miserable in her 40 year marriage, and my love interest is a mommy’s boy. He’s talked about how his parents marriage makes him turned off because his parents relationship is so miserable and that when he told his mother about me her response was “well are you ready to get your heartbroken again.” She has not even met me but I feel like she’s negative about me and her sons relationship. I know he has a lot of fears about relationships and has expressed them to me and gets very insecure and jealous of me and other men even though I try to reassure him he ends up pushing me away and I know he tells his mother about it and that she has a huge influence on him. But just from past patterns of how things have been I want to get rid of 3rd parties and I know his mother is the biggest 3rd party with influence over him. I know his mother will always be apart or his life and I don’t want to harm her but I just want her to stop influencing her son negatively about me. Or maybe a honey jar with her name and photo, cloves, look me over oil, influence oil would be more appropriate but not sure which route to take..

Cast Off Evil will throw off evil influences, Banishing which is also a Lucky Mojo Product to send someone or something away. The true problem you face is that he is a mommas boy and he is not going to eliminate her from his life, or her influence. This will be ongoing longterm work. I would wear Cast off Evil in your shoes and Stop Gossip on your body to not be effected by her gossip. A honey jar sounds like a better longterm plan to me, if you want to keep this man as a potential husband.

Ok so my daughter is at school and I have been using a poppet which was working for quite a while. It was for her to do good in school and soccer, to workout and eat right/stop eating bad. I am doing this for her before a few reasons.
1. She is a vegetarian, has epilepsy and the meds zap her nutrients. So bad eating and meds increase seizure threshold.
2. When she plays soccer her moods, her grades and her weight are under control.

But recently she has seemed to do the opposite of what I tell the doll.
1. She has put on lots of weight- eating McDonald's and pizza hut daily but blames it in soccer.
2. She makes excuses of why she can't workout or lies that she does but admits she would rather just hang with friends, play video games and lay around. And before you say it is the friends, the friends all may eat bad but not all the time and they go to the gym.
3. Her lying has gone out of control. I think that is why she keeps losing friends. She has told her teachers she was sexually abused but the men have not been punished- how can they if you never tell anyone. She says it happened 2x and once was at college but she didn't know it was happening and her roommate told her then she proceeded to have the identical twin move into her room - as friends and I told her to come home but she said it was fine. Then she tells them she has attempted suicide before which is not true and that I have made fun of her from her head to her toes since she was born and she is not close with us. I know all this is for attention good or bad- past therapist have told us. But she is 20yrs old.and will not go to therapy eventhough her major is psych. She just continues these lies.

So I was thinking of doing a cast off evil candle for her.
I will write stop laziness, lying and junk food addiction immediately 3 times, cross it with her name on the back of her picture but...

1.what do I write in the circle around it?
2. Besides cast off evil, should I use any other oil on the picture?
3. Should I do a white or a black candle? Saw in this thread for myself would use a black but for someone else use a white? And I will anoint it with cast off evil.
4. Can only do work at my office so I will use the chime candles and burn one mom, tues and thurs( only days I work).
5. I have a poppet for her to love soccer and the team, eat better/stop eating junk food, and workout. I have used cos, coc, influence, etc so I don't want to put the cast off evil on the poppet but should I lay it next to the candle and the picture since it has her personal concerns and her essence.
6. I wil do this candle for 2 weeks then should I do an influence candle with cos, coc, or victory and come to me to attract her to good eating, working out, loving soccer and studying?

Hello Tribaby789,

Good to see you again, and I like your plan. I expected Cast Off Evil to be the right formula for you, given her challenges with lying and poor habits.

1. You don't need to encircle your writing with another command. Your petition is just right.
2. No need to dress it with another oil. Stick with Cast Off Evil.
3. You can use a white candle for her.
4. Work your spell whenever possible.
5. Put it near your candle work but don't add Cast Off Evil to your poppet.
6. I would work your candles until they start burning clean (no wax residue) or for one month, whichever comes first. That's how I personally work. You can follow it up with Influence, as you suggest, and add Crown of Success to it as your daughter is quite stubborn from what I recall. I wouldn't add Come to Me, as that is a different energy to your intent here.

Thank you Miss Athena. I picked the 2 week time frame because i was following the moon phases . I will continue the cast off evil mon, tues and Thurs until the candle burns clean. I did it 2x and didn't put the poppet near it but I will from now on. I have a picture with the petition on the back anointed 5 point pattern under the candle holder for now.

I was thinking, should I do a moving candle with her in pink, each coach and the team logo in pink and move her and the other candles toward each other after the cast off evil is done instead of the influence +COS?
The reason is because she has pulled away from the team and they are acting accordingly. So I figured if I put the coaches and the team and her and move them closer it would have the same result? As where the influence is just her and may/May not do much?

I would use pink candles (don't have figure) put pictures under each candle and carve names of coaches and "MU soccer team" and my daughter on them and then annoint pictures and candles with attraction, influence and cos. Then light and move them every 15min. (Can't hide them at office so I saw in he moving candle thread, I can move then every 15 min and then I will repeat 2x that week).
I don't know if I need or what to use for a black candle in that instance since the cast off evil was to get rid of bad habits so just the pink ones ok?

Or should I just do the influence and cos with her picture, white candle and put her name then cross it with "I love the MU Soccer team. I love to workout. I love healthy food" over her name and light that when I can until it burns clean?

Yes, you can follow up your Cast Off Evil work with a moving candle spell to bring her closer towards her soccer team and coaches. I know how much soccer has always meant to her from our numerous readings, and by working a moving candle spell like this, you are tapping into her deeply felt love of the sport. This can be a powerful defense against whatever toxic energy is causing her to pull away and sink into bad habits.

Your combination of Attraction, Influence and Crown of Success is a good one, but I would suggest you add Reconciliation, as this is a matter of estranged relationships. State your petition along the lines of how your daughter has always found her greatest joy in playing soccer and engaging with her friends on the team, and how she will find happiness again by reconciling with them. Remind her spirit of what drove her desires in the past and it can do so again.

I like this approach and would give it time to manifest as you are working with a good number of people to influence. Give it a month to see what kind of signs and movement there are before deciding on any alternative approaches.

So just to clarify, do the cast off evil for a month or until the candle burns clear.
Then start the moving candle. 3 pink candles(1 for each coach and 1 for the team) and then a pink candle for her.
Carve the names on each candle, dress them all with reconciliation, att, influence and Cos.

I will put pictures underneath each but I am a little confused about what to put on the petitions. On the coaches I would figure I would write their name and cross it with my daughters and then in a circle put " Kk is one of my favorite players, she is a hard worker and one of the best on the team "or something like that. For the team mu soccer team and cross it with her name and circle "we love and support kk, we are one big happy family."

Now for kk do I put her name? What would I cross it with? Or just her name 3 times and a circle saying " I love mu soccer and am happiest when i play, I love all of my teammates, we are bffs"

And are you saying to do the moving candle for a month? I can do it 3 days a week and move the candles each time but the problem is I have to hide the work. So should I burn the candles down, mark the spot them the next time light again wait 15 min and move and burn it down and repeat it? Or do it all in one day 2 or 3 times and just wait to see results for a month.

Sorry for all the questions just want to do this right since June 1st will be the culmination when I ask her a final time what she is doing playing or staying.

Sounds like you have a good plan set up. I'll answer your questions in the order you asked them.

Yes, do the Cast Off Evil spell for one month or until the candles burn clean, whichever comes first.

I like your petitions for the coaches and teammates. For KK, put her full name and cross it with whatever belief or behavior you want to see from her. Your suggestion sounds good, just make sure you include action verbs like "I am happiest when I play, I love playing soccer with my mu teammates" etc. You want her to do more than just want to play, you want her to get out there and play.

For the moving candle spell, do it during the time you have available (3 days a week, etc.). What I meant by "give it a month" is after you finish the spell, wait for results for a month to see if you get signs, movement, etc. Then you can consider your next move, based on those results.

For the moving candle, i use chimes, can I burn it partially, mark the spots, put it away (can't leave it out) and then bring it back out the next day set it up and then repeat this for 3 days or is it better to burn the candles all in one day moving it every 15 min? If I do it all in one day should I repeat it 2 more times for extra omph?

You don't need to burn the candles all in one evening. Traditionally, a moving candle spell should take you several days, moving the candles together little by little each day.

I'm hoping for some help with petition wording as well as advice on going about a Cast Off Evil working.

I have lots of old bad habits that it's high time to cast off because they have caught up with me and that I haven't had luck over the years getting rid of non-magically:

1. Poor dietary/exercise habits have lead to being overweight, I think as well as kind broker than I should be (always too tired from work to cook at home, so spending a lot to eat convenience food)
2. Poor cleaning/organizing (and maybe some hoarding?) habits have lead to living in a home that feels constantly cluttered and untidy
3. Poor money management habits have led to not really being able to save much towards meaningful goals, despite having a very healthy income
4. I feel like I am either constantly putting off doing the things I really want to do or quitting them part way through due to lost interest/fatigue requiring me to drop all non-essentials

I am not sure if I should tackle each bad habit individually or tackle my overall bad habits as one. I am also struggling with how to phrase my petition (s) in order to achieve the most effective results from my workings. Any and all advice is gratefully received!

So 1,2,4 are sloth, so they can easily be combined into one petition. Number 3 is a Money Stay with Me issue. A curse, cross, or jinx could be affecting your finances. You would need reading to fully understand that. You may want to look into a hypnotherapy session on some of these blocks as well. When you use Cast of Evil, you can do normal petitions and candles, but you also want to make a cross on the soul of each foot, daily if you can. You might also look into Rose of Crucifixion as it is good for mental work.

As far as the petition write your name, and birthday 3 times, turn to the right and write "1 John 1:9. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
