Miss Aida... Or others... I have a question ... About the lighting of vigil lights during Mercury retrograde... I know before I believe you said it wasn't wise.. Would that apply to Fiery wall of protection vigil? If one was lit during this time would perhaps the opposite of what the petitioner wants happen? I can believe this is true for love work ... But what about general protection candles? Curious...

Hi

My second healing candle came back as a clean burn! Hopefully this means he will be better soon! Should I keep burning these and the rose if crucifixion or just trust that it came back clean so it is done? I had a love me and crucible of courage lit just yesterday as well.

Hello Sapmoss,

Others may disagree with me, but I think lighting a Protection vigil light during Mercury retrograde would be a good and even helpful move to protect you from the weird energy going around. But you're right, working for conditions such as love and communication I would absolutely *not* do during that time.

Over a week ago I put together a beautiful money alter... Burning green candles on it etc..wondering what one ought to do with money work during Mercury retrograde...? Curious people's thoughts...

Thanks. I got a reading from miss Aida who confirmed that he likes me but needs to heal and have courage to start a new relationship. She said since the healing candle came back clean to try crucible of courage now and love drawing, which is what I ordered already

she said as it stands right now things will get better between us but then he will pull back again but if I keep up with the candles it will help! Thanks miss Aida that was a very reassuring reading that I am on the right path and doing the right things.

Hello Sapmoss,

During Mercury Retrograde, there is a lot of what I call "tricky" energy in the air. It can be a trying time where things can happen unexpectedly, for good or bad. It's a time when you need to stay on your toes. If I was to do money work during retrograde, I think I'd add an element of protection to the work, so the money the work attract doesn't have to get spent on, say, an unexpected flat tire. Money Stay With Me and Protection oils would be good to use.

Hello Ladee,

Mercury is the planet that most influences communication, so if any area would be affected by the planet going retrograde, it would be that. During this time I find communication gets jumbled; things you say are misunderstood or misconstrued, and you can misunderstand things people try to communication to you. If you want to try and combat that influence, you could burn a Mercury vigil candle dressed with Mercury oil and a pinch of deer's tongue to keep communication channels open. The church could burn that candle for you, or you can order it to burn at home. If have the church dress the candle, it will likely come with Mercury oil on it, but here are the links if you need them:

I'm a little confused there seems to be conflicting responses. Miss Aida said not to do communication work but sister Jean said lighting Mercury candles for communication would be good during retrograde. I had a Mercury candle lit a few weeks ago and I'm thinking of lighting another or a blue cloister candle for whatever is stopping my target from communications with me. I'm waiting in the candle report which should be received soon. should I wait until Mercury is no longer retrograde or would either of these candles be ok to do now?

I was a bit confused as well because I recall Miss Aida saying the same thing. I would think like sisterjean said that the Mercury candle may combat the effects of Mercury retrograde. I think I'm going to buy a run of Mercury candles just to keep positive communication flowing. Would that be a good idea?

Hello,

Mercury candles are TERRIFIC for combating the effects of Mercury in retrograde.

When it is in retrograde, forms of communication are severely altered.

But, I would not start any communication spells on a target right now.

Instead, keeping the lines of communication clear (without mentioning a target) can help immensely

No, I would not suggest that you completely avoid your target.

Let me make this clear: Communication spells are not good at this time. The actual full spells.

But, subsiding the confusion in communication that Mercury in Retrograde causes is greatly helpful with the Mercury candles

Yes hello I have 2 questions about the candles.

1. I ordered a candle to be lit at the altar sometime on Friday evening (I got the lavender love glass candle). I was just wondering how long does it take from the time in which they light the candle to the time in which the candle finishes burning? Also when do they email the results of the candle?

2. Would it be ok in the meantime while I am waiting for my candle to burn at the altar to light a white candle at night that I have at home (new and undressed candle) just so I can sit by it and meditate for a little bit on my love situation or would that interfere at all with the lavender love candle that was lit at the altar for me?

Is MISC unusually behind on their candle readings? I ask because one of my candles finished burning on the 8/20 and another on 8/23. I'm trying to be patient, but it seems like a long time.

Also, I think it would be helpful to have a system to pay extra for a fast turnaround. One could add $5 to have their candle lit immediately. I think this would work better than the tip system, especially because the tips are processed separately and it's a bit cumbersome transaction-wise. I usually tip, but I don't know if it has any bearing on the turnaround.

I really appreciate the efforts of all the candle servers. I don't want that point to get lost in my feedback.

Hello,

I am new to the site and new to candle magic. I have been lighting candles for like 2 months now like prosperity and abundance, st. jude, rain of luck and white candle for peace. I really don't know what i'm doing to be honest. I just purchased 3 candles yesterday to be set on the alter which is the adam and eve I think, (to rekindle love, romance, etc with my boyfriend), crown of success(which i'm in school for to be an RN, and really need help passing certain classes to get into nursing school), and I think attraction glass(which I really need money so me and my boyfriend can get vehicles cause right now we don't have transportation because of a bad wreck). I was wanting to know when it is set on the alter? Also, I sent our photos and date of births in separate emails because I forgot I needed our birthdates and when will the reports be sent or some clarification that you guys have it? I'm just kind of nervous cause I spent $60 of money I really don't have but I put all of my faith in you guys that this route would work. Will you guys email me the results?

And in regards to your second question, yes, I think that would be more than fine to light candles at home in the meantime and it won't interfere if you're working toward the same goal your vigil candle is.

I have been having the church light candles for me since July and it seems they are behind on the reports. The candles are being lit soon after payment is received however, the reports are taking a bit of time to be sent - but they are being sent.

So, I would just be patient. I think they are inundated with candle requests everyday so it must take a while to be able to sit and write out the reports. Just to give you an idea:

My first candle was requested on 7/15, They lit the candle and started burning it on 7/18 and I got the candle report on 8/10

I've had candles set on the alter for me and just got my candle reports back yesterday. Before I checked my email, I was pretty much in the middle of getting a vehicle. I end up getting a vehicle and my candle came true when I read the report. I was in awe! I desperately needed a vehicle for transportation purposes and end up getting me a vehicle also needing money too. I end up saving 2 paychecks and on top of that my school money came right on time! It helped me out a lot being thst I was in a bind. Now I'm just waiting to see will I make it to the end to be a RN. Currently trying to pass classes and tests so I can apply to the program next summer.

I'm very sorry for being a pain but I've ordered a lot of candles to be lit and I've had confirmation emails for some of them but then there are a few that I haven't had a confirmation email for .
Will the candles still be lit ?
I'm unable to phone the shop up at the moment and I'm panicking a little ( I have severe anxiety which doesn't help lol.)

Using the Pro Bono Fund, which is funded by donations to the church, MISC has sent $100.00 to the GoFundMe campaign to rebuild Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Greenville, Mississippi was was just recently vandalized, burned, and spray-painted with a "Vote Trump" graffiti tag.

i have been thinking of getting a couple of candles set aside for me, im not sure if it is ok to ask these questions apologies if not !
I am as always doing work to bring in someone new and long term into my life... Some of my work has worked iv had a few dates but no one correct.

I was thinking would a marrige candle be a good choice as that is my end goal ?

Also i have been trying to work on somone concting me and wasnt sure which candle might be best ?

Hello sunnysun,

Your questions are absolutely fine!

You want to start by attracting this person to you in the first place, so I'd recommend starting with a Come to Me vigil candle. Once you've found someone you click with, you can move on to Love Me and Chuparrosa vigil candles, to start building that base of love and honesty. Once things have progressed to the point where the two of you are ready to move to the next step, you can use a Marriage vigil candle to help bring about that proposal.

To help get someone to contact you, try burning a Mercury candle, as Mercury rules communication.

Blessings to Miss Cat, nagasiva and the entire ministry team at MISC.

Just before the holiday last week, I sent in my order to have four candles dressed and prayed over, lit and set upon the altar. I remain hopeful that the four I selected were appropriate, as they were the ones that 'spoke' to me the most. I'm also hopeful that the written petition(s) sent on the original order form, and the photographs forwarded through a separate email, were included.

I remember reading somewhere on the site that photos may be requested of the glass after the candle service is complete. I was curious if it would be possible to instead see a photo of the candles as they are, lit and set upon the altar, as it would give me something visual to meditate on while I await the divination. I would visit the church, if not for the 2,900 miles between us.

I hope that's not a terribly unusual or inappropriate request. Thank you for allowing me to share this question with you on the forum.
