I ordered a candle but my name isn't on the receipt.I sent an email but I don't know if they got it .I didn't get a reply yet.Is there another email address besides church@missionaryindependent.org I could use?
What other info do you provide when using the service?

Please refrain from starting new topics but instead find the thread that deals with your question and post there.

It is likley no one had returned your e-mail yet as the Hoodoo Heritage Festival was this last weekend which makes for an extra busy time for the church. I am sure someone will get to your e-mail soon. If you do not hear from them soon you can always call the shop and ask someone to check on your order.

Hello everyone,

I have tried to contact the church and I realize they are backed up but I have a few questions.

I ordered 3 candles last week and another one today, do they send you confirmation once they have lit them?

Do they send your report immediately after the 7 days?

I just want to make sure plus, I sent photos for each of my candles and I don't know if they were received and attached.

I am in Michigan and have no idea how backed up there are and when they will be lit (if they haven't already been) and when the reports will be sent to you.

Last time I spoke to MISC (about 3 weeks ago) they were EXTREMELY backed up cos some of their crew left at the same time
Yose said they have about 3 weeks of candles to catch up with
Once they get to yours you'll get a Confirmation email and they light it the next day

If your request is extremely urgent I suggest calling them. They're a lovely bunch

Has anyone had strange dreams during the time that the church has had candles burning for them? I have had very odd dreams-odd because each night they have been very specifically about people no longer in my life, first 2 nights were about former friends who I'm certain were sending me jealous energy at one point and in the dreams I was being attacked by them, and then last night I dreamt that an ex boyfriend who I was with for several years (took me just about as long to get over him) was getting married to someone and in the dream I was disturbed by it but I am not bothered by it in "real life."

I'd love some thoughts on this, I have the following candles going at the church:

Road opener
Attraction (money)
Bewitching
Cut & clear (not sure if this one has been burned yet)
Saint Jude (I have this one going at home for backup)

Hi moderators

Do you know by any chance if the church is experiencing a backlog of orders? I ordered three candles on Monday, and have not yet heard back from them. I only ask as I usually receive a confirmation email within 24 hours from a church representative, and have not heard anything yet. I sent a followup email yesterday, to no avail, and unfortunately can not ring the church as I am from Australia. Always patient if they are busy, I understand they must receive a multitude of orders each day, I am just concerned that if they have sent an email and I haven't received it, I will also not receive the reports after the burn is complete

I am not sure this week but as of a few weeks ago it was 11 or 12 days after ordering candle it was lit ... I was hoping things are more caught up before ordering again ... love to know as well...

They have been backed up but are working hard to get caught up. I placed an order for 3 candles and it was about 8-9 days after that they were lit. I placed an additional order last week and I haven't received word that the candle has been lit yet but regarding my previous order in mid-May, they said they're working as best as they can (I think they are short staffed.) I wish I could work there lol it's such a cool and amazing service.

I just want to say a HUGE thank you to MISC and Nagasiva, who kindly responded to my email yesterday.

My best friend, who has mental health problems, rung me in crisis yesterday. I was unable to take her call as I was working late, but she told me the day before she had tried to kill herself by jumping off a bridge. Her Mum had grown concerned and called the police who were out looking for her. When I tried to contact her, she ignored my texts. I was crying with worry. I contacted MISC immediately to have an emergency candle lit. What a kind and lovely email I had from Nagasiva and MISC in response, telling me they would pray for her and light a candle for me.

I'm delighted to say today she has received the right help. She is attending the Day hospital and receiving therapy twice weekly.

Thank you all at MISC for your prayers, you did what I asked and kept my beautiful best friend safe last night and now she is getting help. I owe you my greatest thanks for coming to her aid in her darkes hour. You guys are amazing.

I went to order a set of Dume and Destruction Candles from Missionary Independent Church, but I am now being directed to Four Altars to place my candle orders. Which is fine I have worked with Deacon Millett with amazing results with his souring and sweetening jars!!!!I mean amazing work with all of his services!!! But I already have candles that have been lit within the last week with MISC, who will keep these candles on their Alta now and deliver the report?

Hello, Everybody,

In case you have not heard by now, the Missionary Independent Church (where candle services are performed) has had a fire.

The Board of Directors, as well as the employees of both MISC and Lucky Mojo are making a very smooth transition of the Altar services from MISC to Four Altars (A Sister extension of MISC) in California.

This does NOT have any affect on the Lucky Mojo store. The store is a separate entity in a separate building. All merchandise is still available for purchase.

For those of you who have candles being lit right now, please do not worry. You will be taken care of. Nobody will be forgotten

This is what Miss cat wrote today on her facebook page:

"Sad news: Tonight, around 12:30 AM, the Missionary Independent Spiritual Church burned down.

No one was hurt, no other buildings were involved, and aside from the church and its contents, no other damage was done.

I heard a crackling noise, looked out my house-office window and saw the flames. I called 911 while nagasiva ran a garden hose on the plants. The church sat on a flagstone pad and was built as a chimney, to conduct flame in the case of such an event. The Forestville Volunteer Fire Department responded very quickly (they are three blocks away) and everything was under control in less than half an hour.

It is my intention to cease candle services at this time. I was going to do so in May 2019 anyway, as part of my retirement, and it seems foolish to make a big deal about rebuilding for a mere year and a half of service.

Ceasing the candle services does leave issues of financial obligation to our clients The church has money at Paypal and in its bank account to refund for the candles currently unlit. That leaves the issue of the candles that were ruined. We will attempt to refund for those as well, or to make other arrangements for them to be started over.

We have closed down the church's candle-services web page to prevent further financial obligations and have created a redirect page that briefly explains what has happened and rolls directly over to Four Altars Gospel Church, our sister-church in Southern California, where Deacon Millett and his helpers can accommodate your needs.

Good day!

So I went online to order some candles for me to be lit at MISC and to my surprise I see Four Altars.

I am wondering what brought this change and if anyone can please shed some light? I trust Deacon Millett but I am also wondering if people who set up and read the candles at MISC remained to work at Four Altars? Also, from my initial browsing, I see less candles being offered as well as new candles names (some are quite interesting!).

I used to love the MISC candle ministry to burn candles for me. They have always worked wonders for me. I know that they don't do that anymore. Any suggestions on anybody else that could do this for me? As I live with 4 other people it is hard for me to do. Thank you. I love all of you.

When the church burned down in JUly 2017, MISC referred all their candle services to FOUR ALTARS (Deacon Millett)

However, MISC will be resuming candle services shortly, in July 2018

I recently placed my first order with Four Altars last week (six days ago) for a three candle run of "Follow Me, Boy". Ever since processing my order though, I have received no replies to my emails, neither from Deacon Millett nor his assistants; although up until that point I received responses to my emails regularly. The lack of response at this point is a little worrisome for me considering this is my first order with them, and I also had further questions about other candle work I wanted to order from Four Altars, though the lack of communication after processing my order has me questioning whether or not I should purchase more candle work.

Is this normal, or should I be concerned that no one is responding to my emails at this point?

I am not sure why you would email a candle setting service if they took your order and set your lights. It is uncommon to expect them to report daily on the progress of the candle. Perhaps you want a personal ongoing root doctor's consultation? I know that when I have set lights at MISC or at Four Altars, I got my email report when the candle finished burning.

Missionary Independent Spiritual Church burned down on July 14th, 2017. While we are rebuilding, Four Altars Gospel Sanctuary is handling our client requests, for which we are very grateful.

When MISC is back in action, we will re-open the web page.

Missionary Independent Spiritual Church candle ministry altar services candles services are available again! One year after our church burned down, it has been rebuilt and our candle altars are open to clients.

We are grateful to everyone who donated for the rebuilding, thankful to Four Altars Gospel Sanctuary for handling our clients during the interim, and we are very glad to be back at work serving our community.

I have, the Lucky Mojo shop supplies the candle and it is burned at the Missionary Independent Spiritual Church with your petition and prayed over. When it is done burning they interpret it and send via email a candle report telling you about the burn. They do not give day to day updates on the candle.

I replied to the Candle Report email to ask this question but don't know if it was received -

So, very silly, but I got a good report on my Lodestone Candle burn at MISC (some obstacles that should be cleared in time). It was to bring an acquaintance / friend closer. About 2-3 days after it started burning, we ran into each other, and chatted for a very long time - that said, I knew there'd be a possibility we'll run into each other that day, but didn't expect it to be such a great long chat since it was just his lunch break.

However, only a few days later I realised I wrote his middle name wrong (I gave his full name, but wrote Franklin instead of Frank for his middle name).. But I did also send a picture with the candle.

Since that day we met, we haven't had almost any contact at all. But he's a very busy man (he occasionally gets very active on my social media wall, but he hadn't in the last few days because he doesn't spend as much time online when he's busy).

All that to ask, I was thinking of having the Magnet Candle next, but don't know if it can speed things up or not? And if maybe it's what I need to do since I got his middle name wrong?

The candle report is great. It is not often the shop can make personal responses to the reports if its not directly related to the service. Your question is partly asking is running into him a sign, and did the candle work even though you wrote a wrong middle name? Yes running into him is a sign, signs are very individualistic. It also was movement because you seen each other talked. Middle name was very close. Also you provided a photo. You can use a magnet candle or a lodestone candle, id add attraction candle as well.

I am happy to see that the Lodestone candle produced some movement to you.

His photo is a strong focal point for our candle servers. Correcting his middle name will enable us to focus our prayers more completely as we work on any future candles.

With your next petition (on either the Magnet candle or the Lodestone candle, as you choose), I suggest that your petition be not merely for contact, but for "steady contact" or "increasingly frequent contact," or both.

I emailed the church but haven’t heard a response yet and for some reason I can’t seem to find their number. I wrote my targets last name incorrectly & didn’t double check the year so instead of putting the right year (1987) my finger accidentally hit 86 -_- I sent pictures with the correct name and birthday but I don’t think that’ll help me since it’s wrong on the petition. Help! Thank you.

That is easy to answer.

When the Missionary Independent Spiritual Church burned down on July14th, 2017, all outstanding candle orders were graciously handled by our friends at Four Altars, and they continued to take orders during the year it took us to rebuild. Since July 14th, 2018, we have been back in services, and taking candle setting orders as always.
