Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
Hello!! I am yuma.New to the forum.
Sorry about my mistake last time .
I apologize
Today I have a question
I will be going to ocean to dispose my ritual remnant
A come to me candles spell, for a far distance relationship
Now my question is,is it proper to dispose it in the ocean?
If proper,(a)which hand should I use To throw it into the ocean, left or right hand?
Facing the ocean and throw with my right hand,or left hand?(b).with left hand or right hand over the shoulder?
(C) would it be fine,if I dispose his pic and my picture use for the spell into the ocean together, tier with brown cloth and red floss.
(D) would it be fine if i dispose a spell done, for instance 9am in the morning,
Dispose at dawn the next day 3.30am?.

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
Hello enjoy life,
It's not the best idea to dispose of remains from a Come to Me spell in the ocean. It would be a lot more effective if you buried these remains in a potted plant and put that plant near your front door, or buried the remains under your front stoop/steps. This is because you're trying to *draw* something to you, so you place remains of that type near your front door, so whatever you're trying to draw will come to your front door.
You can learn more on this page:

Take care.

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
I did a break up spell recently on my ex boyfriend and his lover.
1) Once the candle burns down, how should I dispose break up work leftover wax?
2) Where can i dispose the remains properly; I know crossroads might be best.
3) Do I wrap it in a paper packet and discard it by throwing it over my left shoulder and not look back? At crossroads should i just throw it anywhere or should I bury the remaining wax? Or should I bury it beside a crossroad?
4) Is there a specific time of day to do this?
5) Should I keep working this with a new candle every month till these two break up?
Thank you

Hello, Renee987,
Welcome to the forum
Please read this page on ritual disposal
www.luckymojo.com/layingtricks.html
It is always good to keep working at it. So, yes, a spell a month is good (or even more). The more candles, the better!
Wrap your remains and then dispose of them. Some rootworkers dispose or deploy according to time of day, day of week, etc. Others don't. It's a matter of personal preference.
But please read the page that I just gave you
Take care

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
Hi Miss Aida I read the article it was helpful. I am confused a little though. I know it says any intersection to throw it east over left shoulder. However, I was going to go to a railroad and throw it there since there is no people around. And its a good place to discard anything.

Hello Renee987,
A railroad track is different from a crossroads. A crossroads is where two roads intersect at 90-degree angles. You can read more about crossroads here:

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
I performed a moving figural candle spell (breakup and reconciliation/romance) and unfortunately the remains of the romance half part of the spell vanished (I had guests over and did a hurried cleanup of the place and a cleaner went over it, so I can guess it either was stored somewhere I don't remember or thrown out). Should I redo the spell?
Seeking to learn more.

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
Hello all,
I recently made a vinegar jar for a brake up spell. My question is where to dispose the jar? Is it ok to throw it in a T crossroads or shoud de the kind of X / + form of crossroads?
Also, as there are people around and i can not bury it, can i just throw it away from my car on my left side or should it be in the middle of the crossroads.
Thanks!

Hello Aphrodite Blue,
Welcome to the forum. Two roads forming a T is not a crossroads. The roads need to cross each other at 90 degree angles, like a large plus sign.
You can read how to dispose of vinegar jars here:

I have a big front porch and so instead of burying the remains under the front step, I just threw them under the porch so it was closest to the front door. Is this okay?

Hello MikosChoice,
Since these remains are for love and prosperity spells, placing them near the front door is a good call. Next time though, I'd bury them under/near the front door. But that's just me. If you want to know more about this, check out this page:

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
NEW THREAD HERE.
Sorry, did a quick search (as time allowed) but did not find SPECIFIC answers to bullet points below & am time limited due to cleaning a room (my "hiding spot") for remodel - many others stirring around. :-/
Some time ago (yrs) I had performed several different spells. There was A LOT going on during that time of my life & I apparently put aside several items associated with those spells. I'm wondering what the best way is to dispose of these items. I know the general rules, but need some specific help on the following - with the importance that I don't want any negativity coming back to me or the initial intention (love, money, persons):
1.) Tall glass "Love candles" - in the past I would take off the labels & pictures and dispose of the glass with the rest of the recycle.
> Is it okay to throw the glass in the recycle?
> What to do with labels & most especially pictures that were attached so no harm, blocks, etc come to the subject or me?
2.) Tall glass "money Candle" - it worked, but not as well as I'd like.
> Since I don't want to "throw money away" is it safe to dispose of the glass & residual wax in the recycle?
> What about the attached deposit slip with written $ amount?? How would I dispose of that without "repercussions" or money loss?
3.) Vinegar Jar - It worked great, but I'd like to dispose of it, but RELEASE the targets. There's no need to continue it and I would like to release the "harm" or negativity, but don't want it to come back on me.
4.) Negative Poppet - The subject of this was a woman who was annoyingly intent on interfering with my long-term relationship. It's been years & I no longer need to keep her "bound".
> What's the best way to dispose of it? I'd rather not bury it, but release the binding as she's no longer an issue. IE - release the negative mess & move on.
> Do I remove the photo from the doll & dispose separately? If so, what do I do with the picture?
> One complication is that on the written command, I added some of my own effects to "exert power" over the situation (probably stupid???).
Normal disposal routines (burial, etc) are a bit difficult around here these days .
With crime ticking up, there is a camera EVERYWHERE, including the graveyards (many stolen name plates, vases, etc). Instead I get LM to do my candle work & love them.
Thanks for helping with my LOOOONG post.

Hello sunnyone,
You will find answers to many of your questions if you read through this page all the way through:
http://www.luckymojo.com/layingtricks.html
And the fear that's evident throughout your post of bad stuff coming back to you even for something like a money spell is not a part of hoodoo. Doing a spell to bring yourself money will not bring anything bad to you.
That page should help you with all your questions except for the poppet, which needs a little more care.
general-doll-baby-voodoo-doll-poppet-qu ... tml#p18641
Call the spirit out of the doll, then take it apart and bury it if you're done working on the target.
And yes, you can dispose of the glass from tall glass-encased candles in the recycling.

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
Thanks Sister Jean.
I did read that page prior to posting, but still had some specific questions:
1.) How do you typically dispose of the photos/pictures that were attached to candles? In reading there were several options, but wasn't sure if it mattered on the type of work.
Is there a different disposal for negative vs. positive work? IE: Is burning a pic from a love spell or money spell a good idea for disposal?
How do you handle disposal?
2.) What about disposal of the written command that I have some of my own "personal effects" on......how would I dispose of that without getting "caught up" or buried with the poppet?
What is the significance of burying if I want to "release" the spell?
Sorry for the questions, but I also want to learn at the same time.

Hello, sunnyone ,
All the questions you have asked in Part 1 of your question is answered on the page that Sister Jean gave you
For Part 2, your handwriting of petitions and commands, is not in any jeopardy of becoming part of the spell on the target. So, it's not a problem
You could just release the Spirit from the doll if you don't want the target anymore. Is this what you are asking?
Take care

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
I have some leftover unused spell components: Black Arts Oil, Goofer Dust, and Graveyard Dirt. It's a nice portion of each item, containers they came in are more than half full. I was holding on to them for a bit in case I needing them again, however it's very clear now that I will not be using them again at all so I'd like to properly dispose of them. I've read the article on laying tricks, which says to throw them into the center of the crossroads.
I just need a little clarity, do I have to take the remaining ingredients out of their packaging? Cuz trying to throw dust over my shoulder would just get all over me. Same problem with the oil though I know I definitely can't just leave it in it's bottle. Also the only crossroads I can get to is a very large intersection with cars so I'm pretty sure getting to the absolute center of it isn't possible. Any suggestions on how to manage this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Have you considered just giving them to somebody?
Heck, I would take them.

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
I haven't seen this question answered but apologize if I missed it. I disposed of candle wax by burial in backyard - the next day I noticed it had been dig up. I live in country and assume an animal must have done this. Do I need to repeat my spell or am I covered by the act of disposal (a set it and forget it kind of mindset) I lean towards a repeat but wondering others thoughts. Thank you in advance.
on a new journey just finding my way, and figuring out what it all means....

That's not an option for me for a number of reasons, unfortunately. I really don't like having to waste the materials, but for this instance, I decided it was worth it. It's definitely not something I plan to do regularly.
So, any suggestions on disposal?

Hello DreadPirateQueen,
If you don't want to give away the materials, you could just go to a graveyard, dig a hole, dump the materials in, then walk away. Then throw away the bags/bottles.
Take care.

I am sorry if I should have picked up on this but I am still a little confused. If the wax is from a reconciliation spell, is that to be buried in the yard because it's not a new person or in the front because it's to renew the relationship?

Hi Lovetolove,
Bury in the front yard. You are trying to draw someone to you (even if it is a known person from your past) and you use the front yard for that purpose. The back yard is for keeping something with you, and that wouldn't apply to someone with whom your relationship has been broken.
I hope this helps. Good luck.

I've been working with a spirit from graveyard for reconciliation with my ex but I have moved on and I want to set the spirit free. How can i respectfully dispose the green paper and vandal root and also set the spirit free? the spirit is from another town sent by a rootwoker. will it be okay if I just burry the graveyard dirt in my backyard?

Hi, I'm new here & although I've read the disposal of tricks 7 ritual remains page quite thouroughly i'm still confused as to where to put my love spell waxes remains since I am VERY mobile right now meaning I'm constantly moving around from place to place. What do I do with them without hurting my spells? Thanks~

Hi witchywoman1313,
Since you are mobile and don't have a permanent yard to dispose of your candle remains, I suggest you get a nice potted plant and bury the remains in the dirt. You can take that plant with you when you move from place to place. Tend to it to keep it healthy and it will keep the energy of your work going for you.
I hope this helps. Good luck.

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
well I hope I did this right tonight... I threw the wax remains that covered my rival's picture in my breakup moving candle spell in the crossroads out the window over my left shoulder as I drove thru it but accidently looked in my rearview for a split sec to make sure it didn't hit any other cars since there were several behind me. It was def in the center though & I prayed aloud to "please take her away from him" without looking back any further as I drove away. Is this ok? It's so hard to find a non busy crossroads where I live, none of which I can walk into & dispose of something without someone seeing me. I almost threw it in the river though, maybe next time this would be a better solution since they both take things away from you correct?
Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
Hello, witchywoman1313 ,
Gosh, that mode of deployment does not seem like a sound and committed manner of performing a ritual.
And looking back is also not an effective move.
Honestly, I cannot say that I have faith in the entire act of deployment/disposal.
I'm sorry
Take care

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
Hello, I recieved my LM purchase! So happy about that btw.
I was setting things up and wrote my petition, got it folded and then realized I wanted to add something more to it. So I'm making a new one because there wasn't enough room on the first one and have to reword things. So my question is: How should I dispose of the first one? I've read that burning it signifies the spell is done but I haven't even really started, haven't loaded nor dressed the candle or lit it yet even..
Thank you!

So I'm making a new one because there wasn't enough room on the first one and have to reword things. So my question is: How should I dispose of the first one? I've read that burning it signifies the spell is done but I haven't even really started, haven't loaded nor dressed the candle or lit it yet even..
Thank you!

Hello Lmuser05,
Since that petition paper never really entered your spellwork, I think you can just throw it away.

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
Tonight I disposed of something into the river over my left shoulder without looking back at all however when I took a different route home I realized that in order to get back home I had to drive over that same river on a different street. Please tell me I didn't mess this work up by doing that. I'm hoping I didn't bc I felt very good about the work & disposal until I realized I had to drive across that same river just a different street.
I live in a major city so when I've disposed of remains at crossroads before if I leave them at one crossroads I'll always drive a different route to avoid that exact spot but it'll be a different crossroads with that same major street name. I mean that's ok too right? Otherwise I wouldn't be able to get home.

Hi witchwoman1313,
You're fine. It's a different route even though it's the same river. Don't overthink it.
Good luck.

The remains of a candle for reconciliation I assume are buried in the front yard since you want to attract your ex lover to come back. If I have some plants at my doorstep in pots, can I bury it there? I'm sure that's okay but want to make sure that I dispose of everything correctly.

Hello Aleksander,
Yes of course, lots of people dispose of spell remnants in potted plants.
Take care.

Hello
I am planning on doing the fast luck spell , but I am not sure about pouring the remaining bath water along the path of my front door. I share my front door with other people. will luck not go to others if I pour the water out on the path. I share the front garden with other people ,I am worried that some one might see me burying staff in the garden after the cleaning up process. Please advice me on what to do.
Thanks Lusanda

Hello Lusanda,
It doesn't matter if you share a front yard and front door with other people if you pray "Bring fast luck to ME" as you pour the water. And it will take about 10 seconds to pour out the water. If you are worried about what people will say, just wait until the coast is clear and then take care of your business.
Also, I moved your post over to this thread since it's about disposing of spell remnants, not mojo bags, which is where you originally posted. Please do not hijack threads.
Take care.

Hi,
I'm burning a Destruction vigil candle at the moment and it says to burry the remains in a graveyard.. The problem is, I don't drive due to medical reasons so I have no way of getting to a graveyard. Would it be okay to bury the remains at a crossroads?

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
Now that I'm thinking about it I have another question about burial, aside from my prior post ^^.... I intend to do a red skull candle for my target and then after that I plan on doing an Adam/eve figural candle moving spell as well. The skull candle & Adam candle are for the same target & the ultimate goal is to bring my target closer to me. I'll be doing them one right after the other when the moon phases allow for it in October. Is it okay to take the left over wax, herbs and other remains from both spells and bury them together under a tree I was given by my target a few months ago? Is there a limit to how much one can bury in one location? I figure since it's the same goal and for the same target and the tree is linked to the target, it should be alright but I want to be certain first. Thank you!

Hello JAD82017,
I wouldn't recommend changing where you bury the remnants for the Destruction work; you want those spirits to "hold down" your target, after all! Do you have a friend who could take the remnants to the graveyard for you and bury them?
And I don't think you need to worry about burying the remnants from two spells under the same tree, I think that's fine.
Take care.

Sister Jean,
I do have one reliable friend that I could ask. I'm just not sure she'd go along with it since she knows the person I lit the candle for. Oooops... I'll ask her to take me and maybe cover the candle up in cloth.. Do I just bury it somewhere inside the gates of the graveyard or do I need to find a certain tombstone of like someone malicious to bury it near??

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
I live in a city and an apartment. However I do have a cross road that is busy during the day and much quieter at night. I'm trying to determine if I should despose of my remnants at the cross road or buy a plant and bury the items in the soil. If the plant idea is better is there a plant I would recommend?
Does it matter what type of spell. If I want to do a love spell or a spell involving the crown of success oil for academics, should these remnants be disposed of in a certain way?

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
I've heard both a potted plant & a crossroads is good for positive workings, as well as burial in a city park from what Miss Cat has said on here also. I just bought a small potted plant since I move every 3 weeks or so but all the wax doesn't fit in the plant so I'm gonna bury some in a hidden art at the park.

Hi Armybratt525,
I would stick with the crossroads whenever you can. If you are doing rootwork to draw something/someone to you, then bury the remains in a plant at the front of your home. If you are doing work to keep something/someone with you, then bury the remains in a plant at the back of your home.
The type of plant is less important than the location, but make sure it is a healthy, leafy one and that you keep it in good condition.
I hope this helps. Good luck.

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
Conjureman Ali posted a spell for breaking down a lover’s resistance. Red candle studded with cubeb berries and rolled in dill seed dressed with Follow Me Boy oil. How would the remains of this spell be disposed of? My instinct is the crossroads, because I want to scatter the resistance. Or would it be in the front yard to draw the lover closer now that his resistance is down?

Hi Snowdrop,
Dispose of those remains in a crossroads. Your instinct is correct.
I hope this helps. Good luck.

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
My potted plant is dying despite effort trying to save it. My question is this, do I buy another plant & dig up the remains that are in this one or just bury those in a park somewhere and throw the plant away? I'm not planning on staying in this area much longer that's why I question burying it somewhere that i won't be living close to.
My other question is this, can I just wrap up those remains in a red cloth and keep it hidden or under my mattress until my love workings manifest? Thanks

Hello, witchywoman1313,
I would take everything and bury it by a tree.
Ask the tree to help you first and wait for positive or negative feelings. If you get positive feelings, then bury everything by the tree
Give the tree an offering like water and a dime for helping you
Take care

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
Thank you Miss Aida
I did just that except I didn't have a dime on me, I only had 3 pennies & I left that plus water for the tree & felt fine doing that. I have done more love drawing work since then & am going to be moving next week and well since I'm leaving what should I do with them? I read somewhere that I could either buy some soil & a regular pot & bury them in that with a fake plant and keep with me by the door of wherever I move to next OR just go bury them in nature again. I wanna make sure I'm doing this correctly since I'm drawing a certain person to me & don't feel like just burying them far from me is a good idea. Thoughts? Thanks

Re: Disposal of Ritual Remains Questions and Answers
Hello, witchywoman1313,
That is absolutely acceptable
Do NOT dig up what you have buried by the tree. Just tell the tree that you are moving and ask it to continue helping you.
Take care
