Forgive me if I've overlooked it somewhere, but I cannot find detailed instructions on the creation of a vinegar jar. I found them on the site for honey jars, but not vinegar. Can someone point me in the right direction? If it matters the one I will be making will be to break up my husband and the woman he's cheating on me with.

POOP! The contents of my vinegar jar turned into a huge black ball that looks like poop. its really gross which i thought was great because i thought their relationship would turn into poop but i see they are still talking and in contact. i shake it everyday but I havent lit the candle on top of it yet (is the candle a must or shaking it everyday is enough?). i didnt have a real photo of the girl so i printed one out on paper and wrote on the back of it. i dont know if i did it wrong and should re-do (i would have to go print the photo in a store on real photo paper) or if it needs more time to work.

Yemeya1226, Dragon's Blood is used for something entirely different. This thread and most of the vinegar jar threads include huge lists of ingredients that people have used or recommended. Reading through the thread will give you all sorts of ideas. Red Peppers, Black peppers, Poppy seeds etc etc.

If you want revenge then do a crossing spell kit or reverse what they did back to you. Vinegar jar wise put your step dad, and all the ingredients to sour his life.

well i somehow managed to ruin yet another vinegar jar. i went out to go and give the thing the ole shake. in this situation i decided hey... lets try putting it over flame to put heat on their feet towards break up. ive done it the past few times now. i dont sit there and just hold the jar above the flame. i shake it side to side over the flame for a few seconds and lay off.


so i get the lamp light up and start to hold it above the flame..ya know..just gettin it over the flame to start heating it and begin shaking. except this time i barely moved the jar over the flame and it exploded immediately. now i gotta get this thing outta here and into a crossroads later.

besides getting a divination done. im not sure wether this is a sign?? or to start another jar again. should i just start over and make a new jar?

I think you should get another reading before you make another jar. Was the first jar that exploded for the same people? Have you heard frome them? Maybe they broke up. You should atleast wait to see if there are any signs. you know the 3 day thing. My jar exploded last night. I havent got any responses as to what to do next so I'm just gonna wait to see if something happens. How long had you been shaking the jar b4 it exploded...(i.e couple days, weeks)? Mine lasted from May 11th till May 21st. I shook it everyday and lit candles on it every tues/sat. (4 burnings total b4 explosion) just said that to say maybe you shook it long enough to get things "shaken" in the relationship. I suggest a reading. from a few post that I've read here, seems its a good sign if a break up jar breaks.

hmm lets see... ive had it for 5 days. and i shook it multiple times each day. mostly at night when the targets are sleeping. at the time ive had no black candles so i didnt burn any on the jar at all. i havent heard from either party so i have no idea if a break up occured.

well, I understand. I'm going through the same thing myself. (havent heard) However, I believe, they will.
the effects of shaking the jar comes in energetic waves they wont fight while your shakeing it, so you have to give it time to get to them. I cant say how much time, but a broken bottle (from what I've read) means an explosive break up; or some hard times ahead for them. Just give it a little time.

wut did you use in your jar? (ingrediants) You dont necessiarly have to burn candles on the jar. I've learned that the candles create a way out; and cause the person to know they dont have to stay in the relationship. (i.e abusive or wuteva the situation may be) Ive read post here where people dont necessarily burn candles. However if you want to burn candles but dont have time to wait for your LM shipment, Hobby Lobby has black candles. Not trying to advertise for them, just telling you cz sometimes its hard to find black candles.

Another vinegar jar question while waiting for my latest LM order. I've seen lots of talk about keeping the vinegar jar wrapped in black cloth, and talk about keeping it under/in back of your toilet (an idea I LOVE for the purpose I'm making it, thank you all who have mentioned that!). I was wondering about keeping it wrapped in a black plastic trash bag. I have two reasons for this a) it being a trash bag, to symbolically tie to 'trashing' the relationship, and plastic as plastic will suffocate and kill living things, and b) the plastic will take care of any of the vinegar leaking I've read about. Any thoughts on using a bag instead of cloth for wrapping, at least in this case? For the record I will be a vinegar jar to break up my husband and the skank he's cheating with at his current duty station.

Silly question about vinegar jars: after making the jar,do we have to cleanse ourselves every time we shake the jar (for example if we shake it twice a day we should cleanse twice a day) or only if we burn candles on top of it etc?

I have had a vinegar jar working since March of this year. I always had the jar wrapped in a black cloth and placed in a plastic bag in the back of my closet. Just the other day I smelled something foul and discovered it was the jar with the contents leaking out. Basically the top of jar had blown off....too much pressure, I assume.

Can someone tell me what this means and should I start the process again
and how does one discard the remains of the previous jar? The person this is intented for has started to bother me again and she needs to be shown she's not as strong as I am...at least that's what my reader told me. She got what she wanted but she's still bothering me.

A couple of months ago I created a vinegar jar - used Four Thieves vinegar that I made myself from herbs in my garden, included a ton of whole dried chile peppers - the really hot ones, scraped some rust off of metal planters in the patio, included the ingredients from an LM breakup bottle, a couple of aspirin, etc - then put in pix of the people, the name papers, the petition, etc. Shake it twice a day during the "hour of Mars" and have sort of created a set of curses that flow now - "let their feelings be as bitter as the vinegar, let their words be as sharp as the nails, needles and pins, let them fight like cats and dogs..."

So now the jar contents are looking more gross with every day that passes - the liquid used to be fairly clear, now it's very brown, very opaque and sort of stratifies into layers in between shakings. I've read the entire vinegar jar thread and one person mentioned that the jars get pretty ugly over time. Another said that they should only be kept for one moon cycle.

So my question is should I dispose of this one in the next week or so as the moon wanes, or should I just keep using it because of the energy that has been captured in it and that the grosser it gets, maybe the better it works? And if the consensus is to discard it (appropriately) is there any issue with just making a new one w/ the same intent. If this has been answered in the thread, I couldn't find it so apologies if this has been covered already.

Um, yes it is bitter, but thats not the first thing that comes to mind when you think of aspirin is it? No, you probably, like most people, think of medicine, of relief and healing. Vinegar by itself kinda has sour and bitter covered.

Oh got it, sort of goes back to intent - well, also put in some LM break up oil and hot foot powder along w/ black mustard seeds - so I hope somehow the overall intent was weighted on behalf of angst and separation rather than "oh, I feel better now."

I'm learning so much from these threads and truly and totally appreciate your response and insights - I can see why it takes years to become really good at rootwork - I've also read cat's book almost cover to cover and find it fascinating and of course, very useful.

There actually is a Hyatt entry that talks about using asprin in a break up trick. Of course not all of Hyatt's informants were rootworkers and some of them did make up a bit of information.

How long has it been since you've created this vinegar jar? Just because they are still on speaking terms doesn't mean that it isn't working. Give the jar time. I have instances where the targets of a vinegar jar became closer and friendlier for a period of time right before a massive blow up. It was like they only got closer so that the fallout could be that bad.

If it has been a while since you've been working this vinegar jar then get a reading to find out if your work is hitting them and what can be done if it is not.

Btw, you don't *have* to light candles on jars. That is one way of working them. Shaking them is another way of working them.

Thanks for the tip with the honey jar, too. For some reason I had the impression that honey jars were not supposed to be shaken. Good to know I can do that too if I feel I need to add an extra 'oomf' to the one I'm planning!

That same thing just came up on another group I'm on. It's not any one particular informant in particular, simply the fact that although Hyatt did get a good amount of good info, if you know conjure well than you can find the inconsistencies of what some informants are telling him. After all, generally speaking, and especially at the time, people didn't just go spilling their conjure secrets to others...and especially not to someone outside their own culture. So there's certainly some stuff in there that is kinda just made up. (This is a common occurance in anthropological data gathering the world over - so not just limited to Hyatt's work.) These misinformations, then, get cycled around by some more modern practitioners that can't distinguish between the authentic and the misinformation, resulting in even more misinformation being spread as "traditional". So there's definitely a need to look with a discerning eye at the Hyatt material.

But if CM can find specific examples, that would be great!

Can an insect, or in this case an arachnid, be placed in a break-up vinegar jar? I ask because my husband is absolutely terrified of spiders and the poor lil' guy I was letting live in my living room either died on his own earlier or one of my cats got him, but I just found his carcass. I'm thinking that would be a great thing to add to the jar to drive him away from her, but not sure if it fits with Hoodoo or not.

Yes you can most definitely use dead bugs in a break up or bottle spell. Dead spiders, roaches, and whatever else are a great addition to jar work.

well its official... i make vinegar jars explode in a matter of days. i just made this one too.. 24 hrs after..the bottom blows right off. guess its reading time on the matter. i even made sure i didnt shake it hard at all this time.

Putting aspirin in a vinegar jar seems really wrong to me. Aspirin CURES PAIN. Wrong.

Folks, rather than listen to every nutty internet poster here or on other sites, either stick with the traditions you have learned in your family or ask someone who is experienced what to do.

Our way of working makes sense -- putting aspirin in a vinegar jar makes no sense.

Somewhere there is a US Navy detailer I owe a big thanks to should I ever find out who he/she is. MY husband's skank is being sent to a boat stationed 3000 miles from his duty station. I know they're at the 'we'll make it work' stage' but I also know it won't work out, but I'm still planning a vinegar jar on them just to make sure that piece of business goes down in metaphorical spectacular flames.

Even though my husband's boat has a ridiculously long deployment schedule (and he's on an all male crew, so no females will be around while underway), I do know he'll be very drunk, very lonely and very stupid when they are in port. I'd like to do a vinegar jar to keep all potential rivals away during the deployments, just to make sure my 'positive' work on his has a real chance to take hold and get his head straight.

So do I need to do two vinegar jars, one for his relationship with the skank, or can I lump 'all potential future rivals' in there as well? I have no problem doing two should that be the best course of action.

Devi and Stars, yes I do. Thought enough in advance when he was home on leave to get some stuff. I have hair/skin from his old electric razor (no head hair though, and no pubic hair---we both shave that), some skin that peeled off when he got his latest tattoo, some blood on paper towels from a piercing when he was cleaning it, and some semen. I'm just not exactly sure the steps to go through to tie his nature.

Have you thought about contacting a rootworker to help you with the tying of his nature? You're already doing so much, it might help to have someone work the heavy lifting for you. Also, you will be more assured of results too, as the worker will have done that kind of thing successfully before. Just an idea.

Thank you! I suspected he was cheating before he came home on leave and that was confirmed within 24 hours of him being home, so I basically had 3 weeks to collect things. I also got her name, several pictures of her and one thing I know she touched (due to the pictures) that he left behind.

I am thinking about the use of a rootworker for tying his nature. Spell jars seem fairly basic as well as anointing and lighting candles, etc. Good places for me to get back into practicing Magic in general. Tying someone's nature is something I've never attempted and certainly don't want to mess up in any way due to inexperience. Would checking AIRR be the right way to go about finding someone to do it? I've had one reading from an AIRR member and I have a second with him scheduled for next Saturday, although I don't know if he specializes in that or not.

Hi Maljen, I've read about your situation, I feel bad for you...
I'm not very experienced in this sort of situation, but here's what I think. No spell is as powerful as one you cast yourself. I've seen a suggestion on the free archive about tying the nature of your man, it's not that hard and you've got everything at home, a piece of string approximately the size of his...., semen, hair...a jar and candles could still work, no one but you can put your feelings in there, the anger, dissapointment, and so on...
I think you can do it, why not give it a go?

i read that you can burn black candles when you shake the jar
do you have to burn them all the way? or a little each time you shake the jar? like 15 mins or so?
the last time i burned a 5" black candle it look like an hour and a 1/2 ~_~;;
i don't have much privacy in my home so its hard to keep a candle burning more than 10-15 mins w/o getting bothered and interrupted.

also i can put it in my bathroom cabinet on the bottom drawers that are right next to my toilet and its nice and dark and it shouldn't be disturbed. would that work also since its near the toilet?

i want to use hot foot powder to drive the girlfriend away from my ex but i'm also concerned with driving him away too. i read the previous posts and still am having some difficulty deciding and was wondering if someone can give some final advice on that.

i have their photos, black dog and cat hair, 9 nails, 9 needles, apple and reg vinegar, cayenne pepper, black pepper, red chili flakes, some of his hair, both birthdays, his full name, her name, i was even going to put some of my urine in it....i might be able to get some graveyard dirt and i have compelling oil...

is there anything i'm missing? or anything else that really potent that i can add? i know a lot of people posted different recipes but i was wondering what were some really potent items to guarantee a break up between them. or any oils that are sure to work.

sorry for the long post. just really need help with this.... was planning on making it either tomorrow night or saturday afternoon.

You can burn the candle in portions for however much time you have or throughout the day. The point is to be focused, and communicate your intentions. Yes you can put it in the bathroom cabinet. Leave the hotfoot powder out since you are having reservations on it. However you can add the hotfoot powder, and as you add it just say I would like this hot foot powder to remove and send "(target's name) far away. If you do this then you do not have to worry about affecting your ex. Leave out he compelling oil, and your urine. You do not want your personal concerns in this jar. You can add broken glass, razors, lemons, rotten milk, rust, rusty nails, asafoetida, but this is fine with what you have going on. Go back through the thread and see if there is anything you would like to add that other people have.

that's a good idea for the hot foot powder. i was going to make two jars, and have one specifically for her. i might still do that. but i think ill add the powder into the jar im making today also for a double effect
