Hello Jennjenn,

I think there are a few different ways you could go, depending on why you think you've gained weight.

Is it from bad habits such as overeating and not exercising? If so, a Cast Off Evil candle would help you.

Is it from a lack of confidence in your ability to lose weight? If so, a Power or High John the Conqueror candle would help you.

Are you overeating out of a place of emotional pain? If so, a Healing candle would help you.

Hello there
So let me get this straight can i mix the crown of success in my conditioners. I have naturally thick coarse shoulder-collar bone length hair. My goal is to reach tailbone length in short amount of months/time kind of like an extra boost of growth and i want it to remain thick and healthy . can i write my name on a small on piece of paper and with my name and pettion and place it in the oil and also white kind of paper should i use how many times should i write my name and what is a great petition for me to use.

My son is a freshman in college. Since he was little it seems he had bad luck with behavior problems, school learning difficult and family issues and social issue. Teachers and students reported that he was disruptive, op positional, difficult to get along with people. Teachers didn't like him. His peers didn't like him. He had no single friend. No birthday party invite, no birthday party for himself. He is sad to be alone and tried hard to make friends, but his peers stay away from him. He was better last year that no teach complained him. Last summer he made a school friend. The first several weeks in college he was happy and said people were nice to him. But today I got call from his college dean that couple of students reported him saying some inappropriate words and they are concerned about him. I want to do some magic to make him happier and people around him to be warm to him. And he feels confident and easy to make friends and all love around him and he is liked. What rituals , spells or magic do you recommend? Thanks.

Hello everyone! I have been lurking around forever and this is my first post. I apologise if my issue seems mundane, but it's making me feel stuck and in limbo.

I retired my 9_5 job a few years back and have been doing some work from home. I am grateful that I can afford that. However, I do miss the financial freedom I used to enjoy. There are "hints" from my previous employment that they would consider having me back if I wanted to. Well, I am not sure I wanna go back to the stressful corporate lifestyle. But, it's an avenue and a possibility. There's also a major real estate project that, if I manage to sell, the commission would secure me well enough.
I am not sure where to put my energy, footwork....etc.

I also have choices for different places to live (within the same country). And, am not sure what I should pursue and concentrate on.

I signed up for a reading on the radio show. I guess that I am looking for direction at this point. Like, if I could only know what is going to happen, I can work on making the best out of it.

I am intending to use the clarity products I have on hand *before* the radio show. I am hoping that this will make me hear the reading clearly.

Any feedback and suggestions are appreciated!

Unfortunately, I was not lucky to get a reading last night

I stayed up all night because of the time difference but had problems connecting to Skype! I just signed up again for the Feb. 4th show and keeping my fingers crossed for the connection to work. I don't know how common this is (although I've seen quite a few people post on the forum with the same issue), but I get extremely fatigued when I do cleansing, purification, negativity removal and uncrossing work for myself. I have come to accept that this is a reality and that it's best not to fight it; but IS there actually something I can do that will help me be more energetic and not sleep excessively, etc. when I am in the midst of heavy cleanse work?

I'm really starting to put my LM love and attracting products to use. I used LM a lot geared towards work and career and used them last year to manifest the great career position I have now.

But now I'm looking to use them now more geared towards being social, meeting new friends, love interests, and definitely drawing more attention to myself when I'm out and about.

In May I'll be at a beach weekend for five days full of women

and I want to have them checking me out, flirting with me, fawning over me, and DEFINITELY approaching me

I was thinking to start working on myself NOW to get attraction rolling. I was thinking of pink candles with attraction and look me over oil on them and burning them down over a list of qualities that I want in new friends. Is that good? Would this act as my petition or would I need a petition with this also?

I also want to attract women for more than friendship when there so should I go with the same formula - attraction/look me over oil for that too but change the petition to gear towards flirting/romance? Perhaps bewitching oil also?

I want to stand-out during this beach party getaway and have women checking me out and fawning over me. I seen a good suggestion from Conjureman Ali about wearing Bewitching and Look Me Over to have them fawning so I'm definitely going to try that combo when I'm there also

One more thing is, I was thinking of keeping some 7-day candles going at home while I'm there at the getaway (someone will be house sitting for me so they wouldn't be unattended but would be in my office room undisturbed). I'm thinking A LM fixed look me over 7-day and a LM fixed attraction 7-day. Is there any other that would be a better/more suitable for my goal option to keep burning/going while I'm there?

I’m thinking of making at attraction mojo bag to attract followers, and views on my social media. I looked up some herbs and came up with Five Finger Grass, Grains of Paradise, Mojo Bean, Peony Root. I picked mostly wishing herbs. Is that a good combo? What are the herbs I would use for this type of mojo? Any tokens or charms? Hi, Pyromancer (and, hey, i like your new username!) --

I am going to make some suggestions that take this in a different direction.

A mojo would be great. I like your choices, but i would want some lodestone grits and magnetic sand to draw attention and fans. Also a petition paper and your personal concerns in the mojo.

I think, however, that by confining your work to candles and a mojo, you are missing your best opportunities -- when working before the public, whether by text, by audio, or by film or video, it is customary to dress yourself (that is, your hands or body or hair) with Look Me Over, Attraction, and Crown of Success Oils while you make your presentations.

Be wearing jewelry or hair ornaments that are talismanic and dressed with the oils. These need not "look like" amulets or talismans but they should be prepared on the altar, worn on the body for at least seven days to attune them to you, and never used casually, but always placed on the body with an appropriate prayer. You may have several of them, of course, to harmonize with your outfits.

Then, if your presentations are by video, dress your set. Harmonize your colours and have a few dressed props among them. They do not need to look "witchy" (unless your presentation is "witchy" -- they can be anything, actually, that is prepared for attraction.

Finally, you should dress the tools you use. I am typing to you right now on a MacBook Air laptop which has been customized with a red leather keyboard surface pad and a brown leather cover-case that looks like an antique book. Leather is easily dressed with oils, and my own natural body oils are also embued into the leather surfaced through use. (I use BookBook products made by a company called Twelve South.)

Does anyone have any tips on how to turn off a spell? Or break a spell? And I mean without having to take a full bath or do a cleansing ritual.

I’ve created an attraction oil that draws people to me at work (can be very I distracting) and sometimes I want to quickly it get it off so that I’ll be able to finish my work.

And is there such a thing as gender specific attraction spells? It’s extremely annoying that I’m also attracting men. I’m a straight male. Please help.

If it's that distracting for you, I wouldn't wear it at work. Or you could just take a damp paper towel, sprinkle it with some salt, and wipe down the areas of your body where you've applied the oil. And if you're attracting men as well, just be more specific with your prayer with you apply the oil.

This is not an exercise forum, but, since you ask, i suggest daily walking or using an elliptical trainer, cutting out all sugar and sugar-water products; reducing fats, grains, meats, and milk products; and increasing the proportion of your caloric intake that comes from vegetables. Think of it not as "dieting" but as "refocussing" your food choices. In severe cases, bariatric surgery and abdominoplasty have worked very well for many people.

Hi Everyone. First time poster. In a previous post advice was give for a dental issue. I have a similar issue. I have been going to the dentist for a few years but have bad teeth due to several chronic illnesses that effect my tooth health. There is a tooth that the dentist was going to use as an anchor for partials but now he is saying that the original filling in the tooth was not done right previously and he has to go in and look and see if he can save it or not. Appointment for this is in two weeks and so I wanted to add some magical energy to hopefully have the tooth saved. Back in 2010, on page 1 of this forum thread, this advice was given by catherine yronwode:

I would work with the planetary influence of Saturn, the planet that rules the teeth and bones. I'd use Saturn Oil to dress a petition for the health of my teeth, written on the back of a Solomonic seal of Saturn from the "Keys of Solomon" book, and burn a nice, white tooth-coloured candle on that petition paper, on Saturday, which is the day sacred to Saturn.

I would like to try this but I had a question. I am familiar with the keys of Solomon but unfamiliar with exactly which Solomonic seal of Saturn to use. Can anyone assist me please in pinpointing which seal would be the one to use in this. Thank you so much.

Hi everyone,

So as of the last few years I’m very shy and have low self esteem. I think comes from my current and past romantic relationships or it maybe from childhood but I’m just now noticing it because before I just thought everyone was like me. I do suffer from depression and I’ve tried over 7 anti depressants and none work for me completely I still feel depressed but not as depressed when take them. I’m not one to talk about my looks but I do fit the “American standard” of beauty but I never attract attention and I feel like I go unnoticed by everyone except my boyfriend but our relationship is ver unhealthy because of my fear of being alone and of him leaving me I honestly let him treat me pretty poorly even my 10 year old nephew asked me why do I let him treat me the way he does.

I gave the background information because I think my low self esteem is to blame to all of my issues. I’ve seen a therapist and I’ve taken medications so I’d like to add some magic to the mix to see if that helps. Also because of my depression I don’t feel motivated to do my normal joyful activities or be my best self.

So here’s what I need help with. I have a few of lucky mojos mojo bags but I haven’t used them yet. So I have crown of success, king solomon, steady work, how can I combine them all and what would my petition be?

I just took a spiritual bath and now I’m using king solomon, clarity, healing and protection oils.

Hey Sugar sugar,

Sorry, your name brought a song in my head and made me smile. I'm sorry to hear about tough times. Please remember to work both in the magical world and in the mundane for the best results. They must be in balance with each other. It can take time to find the right therapist and the right medications, but once you get them right, the world will change for the better. Please don't give up hope and keep working to find what works for you.

You can do magic to boost yourself up but if you keep people in life that keep knocking you down...well its going to burn you out. Work to gain momentum, to get yourself standing, set a date when your ready and cut that cancer right out of your life. It may be bit scary and a little painful but when you look back, it will be a relief. Like "what was I thinking holding on to him for so long?!"

For the work. I'd do the King Solomon mojo first for the wisdom. That may really get things moving once you have clarity and insight for your situation.
You are on point with the baths and oils! Someone has been doing a little research with that combo

Finally, stick to a ritual something comforting to bring you into your "zone." Please work with your ancestors as well. They don't want to see you in pain. They will help bring in opportunities and protect you.

What if my goal was not just to gain social popularity for one small group of people but on a much larger scale. As a Dj and producer I've been looking for some time for a way to gain a mass following of fans. I'm thinking of using the same oils and a spell like this but without the collage. Maybe anointment with the mixture, and a talisman that I wear during my shows and gigs. For extra potenensy I was planning to enlist the aid of a goetic spirit as many of them have just the right attributes for such an endeavor.

I have a very embarrassing issue that has me in despair. Despite scrupulous hygiene, regular dental visits, I have terrible breath to the point I see folks actually rubbing their nose and stepping back. I have tried everything, expensive dental procedures, diet changes, mouthwashes, everything you can name. As you can imagine, this is causing problems in every area. I feel depressed and isolated. It seems to have gotten worse over the last year. Please, please help me! Your guidance is most needed and appreciated with this vile problem and having tried anything and everything to just have clean, normal breath!

I am sorry you are having to deal with this issue. I would have an Endodonist ( Root Canal specialist ) look at your teeth. There maybe a dead tooth that is decaying. This can cause a very distinct smell. If not taken care of it can lead to other health issues. As for rootwork I would suggest working with Saint Apollonia she is the patron for dentist's and dental disease and have her help you find the right dentist to take care of this.

Thank you so much for your helpful reply. By now, I could qualify for a PhD in this matter, the amount of hours and research I've put in to getting to the root of it! I have seen specialists and had dental work done, the remarkable thing is aside from one solitary cavity, that just needed a recapping per usual, there is no other abscess or decay, thankfully. Neither is it tonsiliths. My diet is fine. A good tongue cleaning with hydrogen peroxide and ACV keeps it clean and fresh, but only until I eat something/anything. Then it starts. I have a good idea that it has to do with the oral microflora being out of whack and despite mightily battling with appropriate measures I am not feeling the confidence that most people have about their breath.

I am ever so thankful for your suggestion and I shall pray to Saint Apollonia for her grace for the cure of this debilitating issue.

A job is any spell working that you do. Many people wrongfully think that every hoodoo spell utilizes candles in the working, many people use them, prefer them but it is not a solid requirement. Working with the hands, dirt, herbs, oils, powders, oils are all hoodoo. I also find that many people who think they cant work with candles can: example would be using tea lights carved with a petition, dressed with oil and placed in a candle holder. It would go largely unnoticed by anyone.

To use oils you would dress yourself with them as you pray the petition or mix them then dress in them. Such a King Solomon to make wise decisions on diet and exercise, Crown of success to lose 15 lbs and continue at the gym membership, John the Conquror oil for power and success in the gym with endurance, Crucible of courage oil to give you the emotional will and mental determination to do this and do it now. Dress your workout shoes with the oils.

Hi

i read a post by Miss Aida, responding to another user that when doing a honey jar on yourself, you should use pink candles, not red. Why is this? i brought a couple of red candles and intend to use it for a honey jar for self-esteem.
Also can special oil no 20 be used for clarity work and self-love/self esteem? due to lack of money, i have to go for cheaper options.

Nike,

Red candles are passion, love, sex, sexual energy, sometimes even used in anger work for seeing red, red temper. Pink is a loving gentle, caring color. Light blue is also good for oneself and so is white. Special oil number 20 is an all around dressing oil. Recite Psalms 23 when using it.

Hi,

I had a reading with Miss Cat a few years ago about weight loss. She recommended an archangel, and it was either Uriel or Raphael, as well as Dr. Hernandez. I have since forgotten which archangel it was. Which is used for this work?

On the flip side, many of the above examples have focused on weight loss but what about building muscle? Im working out consistently with a trainer and following a nutrition plan, but I feel like I am fighting extra hard against genetics. A magickal boost would be great. I currently use John the Conqueror oil daily. What else do folks recommend?

Hi all! I would appreciate if someone could advise me on an aspect of weight loss/appearance spells that I've been wondering about. I would like to know if it would be possible to utilize a photo of someone who's body is "ideal" in the spellcaster's mind, in order to help facilitate the necessary changes that would bring the spellcaster closer to having a body like the inspirational image. I have only ever read about these sorts of spells utilizing images of the spellcaster, so I didn't know if this would be a good idea or not. Thanks so much for any advice!

Hello vata girl,

You can try that but it sounds a little too Hollywood for my taste. You can use it to help you visualize yourself at your ideal weight, but don't expect to be turned into a replica of that photo.
