Long Time Lurker, Finally Saying "Hi!" :)

Unread post by FreyaRose » Tue Aug 21, 2018 5:30 pm

Hi, All!

I've been a long-time lurker, and finally registered today, because I'd like to participate more, as well as THANK YOU all for the lively discussions as well as magical assistance for those new to Hoodoo, or hungry for more knowledge :).

I've been studying the occult for a little over four years now after a major life transformation, and have been drawn to Hoodoo for about three of those years, learning here and there. Recently, I've sort of decided it's time to piss or get off the pot and really begin growing in my magical practice, so I've been boning up more and more with Miss Cat's wonderful free resources, and am saving up now to take the Correspondence Course :).

I'd love, love, LOVE to be a root worker and help myself, as well as those around me, and so far feel I have an aptitude for it, based on the spells I've done, and the results. It's a very exciting feeling to feel like you've found a home and a magic practice that just makes sense, deep down to your bones. I love the practicality of hoodoo as well as the folk aspect, because of how I grew up--namely Christian and poor--so the system really resonates with me, even if I am no longer part of the church.

Anyway, howdy! :) Thank you all again for all the info you've provided in these forums to us lurkers and learners, and very glad to meet you!

Welcome to the Forum as more than a lurker.

Thanks also for your interest in hoodoo and in folk magic in general.

I do try to make a great many things available for free, because i was taught for free by many elder workers, and i am most happy that you are interested in the course, which is geared a bit toward those who want to become professionals.

Good luck, and i expect to see you here and there in the forum.

Thank you so much for the greeting, as well as for everything you've already generously taught me! :) I've been devouring all your free online history, and really do feel a connection and a calling.

I've also had some seriously great success with the first batch of condition oils I just received, so thank you for the awesome products, as well as the info!

See you around the boards, and have a great night! :)
