Thanks JayDee! I was looking but I didn't think to look under the divination section (dumb, I know). I am looking through but not sure which one to select for working with mojo bags. I guess it probably doesn't matter, I suppose?

Hi jdsmooth85,

Pendulums are personal as you will build a relationship with it, so find one that seems to "speak" to you and go with that.

Good luck.

Heeeeello Lucky Mojo Forum!!!

I got my mojo hand!

Questions:

1. Should I wait for the Mercury Retrograde to end (4/28) to start? Or can I start now?

2. I don't see instructions to write a petition with my bag. Is that ok?

3. What color candle?

4. Should I dress the candle in oil?

5. If so... what kind of oil?

6. Each mojo bag is different, correct?

Please be patient with me.

Hello, LittleWitch2020 --

From an old post you made about Saint Expedite, your IP address (which gives me a city), and your latest post about buying and just receiving a mojo hand, i think i have figured out who you are. I did this research so that i could split your post about your mojo bag out of the general mojo thread and into the thread for the product you ordered, which i believe to be a triple strength Lucky Red Clover bag. If i am wrong, i am sure you will let me know!

1.Yes, wait for Mercury Retrograde to end (4/28) to start!

2. You may add a petition to any mojo bag if you wish.

3. You may use a green candle for money, yellow for success, red for love, or white for anything.

4. Yes.

5. Use an oil appropriate to your petition.

6. Yes, that is correct.

Best of luck to you!

Hello LittleWitch2020,

No, neither is required. Just use the oil that came with your mojo to keep it fed.

Good luck.

Ooooooo k.
I've followed all the directions. Yet, nothing. I'm getting so discouraged.
When I got it, it felt like I was on top of the world!

I oil it talk to it, I even put a red string around it so it could respond. I dunno what to do.
Someone help me, please.

Hello LittleWitch2020,

What do you mean, "yet nothing"? You just received your mojo. You should be keeping it close to your skin for the entire first week and that time has only just ended if you started your mojo right after Mercury retrograde ended. I am confused about your expectations of a response, especially if you have barely finished the initial stage of charging your mojo.

Demanding results out of impatience will undo any work you are attempting, so please learn to be patient.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

I'm sorry. Honestly I didn't/don't know the whole process. Now, I know it's stages. Ok, good. Please excuse my ignorance about some areas of the craft.
Yes, I sleep with it and I keep it in my bra. I only remove it to bath/shower.

Again, thank you. Now I see it's a process, there are stages, levels.

God bless

LittleWitch2020,

It is not that there are "stages" to the work, that it has to take a process, however, what Miss Athena seems to be saying to you is to be patient with the work. You just received it and it can take time to manifest. One sure way to kill your work is to 1. overthink it, 2. self-doubt the work. Jesus instructs us to pray as though you have received it, another scripture it states that God gives us what we ask for, if we ask for a fish he does not give you a stone. This reinforces the idea of focusing on what you want and believing it. Magic can and does happen instantly, but more times then not it does not, unfortunetly its not like the movies or Harry Potter and takes time, energy and focus, this is one reason I like to emphasis the word Work in Rootwork because you work the root.I think what Miss Athena meant by stage is you just made the mojo and just started to wear it, you have not given it enough time to determine if it is working for you or not. Pray over it, speak to it, feed it with oils, wear it daily. Have faith in everything that you do! Even the faith the size of a mustard seed could move a mountain!

Thank you.

I get it. It's hard working alone. That's why at times it seems as I'm ungrateful, impatient, and dumb found. I run to the forum for almost all my questions. It would be different if I had a friend who practices too.

I have total faith. It's like reading directions on how to ride a bike. Everyone texting you how they learned to ride. When what u need is a real person to hold the seat until u gain balance and confidence.

Trust me, I've slacked up a lot on Q&A with the forum. I'll read until my eyes run; before I'll ask for help.

This mojo bag means the world to me. We are bonding. We talk(I've tied a string on her so she can communicate). I didn't know what to expect from the mojo bag.

Question: I've run out of Lucky 13 Oil. Can i use whiskey? She likes cigar smoke. I smoke her once a week.

I believe I've taken up enough of your time, so I'm gonna go.

EVERYONE, have a safe and blessed day.

Honor & Respect

Whiskey is fine for dressing a hand. It is sooooo trditional. You can also use perfume or cologne. Smoking is also traditional. You are doing great!

Is Lucky Red Clover the same as Nation Sack?

I ordered the Nation Sack and received the Lucky red clover. Instructions don’t match either :(

Uh-oh! That's wrong! It looks like someone in the shop made a pulling error -- pulling the wrong item off the self. PLEASE CONTACT THE SHOP and send a photo of what you received and what you ordered by email. We will replace the item.

I received my mojo a few weeks ago and am super happy with how it’s worked for me. A few days after I started carrying it, my very difficult job has gotten easier and people are remarking on my work positively, random people are way more friendly, and I even managed to make money without working for it.

At my job something small can put you behind by an hour or more, and those things still happen yet I’m ending up finishing on time after expecting to be so far behind that I need help. Instead I’ve been able to help others with their work instead, which is a huge change for me.

I carried it for a week and keep it on an open bible atop Psalms 23, and it goes with me every Sunday in my bra. It gets kisses and thanks often. If you’re not sure about which mojo to get, this is a nice all purpose one for making your life a bit easier for sure.

Hi Everyone,
I’m planning on ordering a mojo soon, and just had a couple of questions about it.

The first is that does this bag contain any animal curios? I asked the shop by email and they replied that I could ask for it not to include any which is great, but didn’t say whether it usually did,and if I did ask for any animal curios to be left out would it make the bag less magically effective?
If so would I be better going with the southern style bag?Does it cover the same four areas of luck that this bag does?

Also I was wondering what the fragrance of Lucky 13 smells like (the main oil that you smell)since I plan on carrying the bag with me everywhere and sleeping with it under my pillow I just wanted to have an idea cause I’ll be smelling it a lot😆
Thanks in advance.

It does have animal curios in it, but like they said you can leave it out.

The oil smells like herbs, not sweet or perfumey. You won’t be dousing your mojo in it or using a lot so the smell isn’t a big factor. I anoint myself with it occasionally and it doesn’t clash with my perfume. I own a bunch of LM oils and it’s never been an issue.

Thanks Chelles93 for your reply.

Maybe I would be better getting the southern style bag then as I’m not sure if leaving them out could affect the bag’s strength?

I have some oils too and love their fragrances, uncrossing, psychic and Adam and Eve- easily nicer than most perfume so it wouldn’t be a problem if it was noticeable, I was just curious of the main scent really.

Does anyone know if the Southern style bag covers the same areas of luck that the red clover does?

Lucky Red Clover Mojo Hand

Use in Magic:
Our most popular mojo is a general all-around good luck, money-drawing, love-drawing, and health-protection conjure hand made with John the Conqueror root, Dragon's Blood, Devil's Shoestrings, Mojo Beans, and much more, dressed with Lucky 13 Oil. Ask for The Lucky Red Clover Bag.

Spell Methods:
A mojo is the staple amulet of African-American hoodoo practice, a flannel bag containing one or more magical items, such as roots, herbs, seeds, coins, charms, a petition paper, and/or personal concerns, made to assist in the accomplishment of a wish, desire, or prayer. A mojo made for luck, wealth, love, protection, or health is traditionally carried on the person, but some mojos are hidden in a place where they will work on those who pass by. Alternative names for the mojo include hand, mojo hand, conjure hand, lucky hand, mojo bag, conjure bag, trick bag, tricker bag, root bag, toby, jomo, joomoo, gree-gree, grigat, gris-gris, and nation sack. A mojo used for divination, somewhat like a pendulum, is called a Jack, Jack bag, or Jack ball.

Product Details:
Lucky Mojo brand mojo hands contain authentic, traditional roots, herbs, and symbolic ingredients fixed in a flannel bag. Each one is made with consideration and prayer. They come with dressing oil and full instructions for use.
