Seasonal herbs may be listed as out of stock when you try to order if they will be out of stock for six months or more.

Outages caused by shipping delays are not usually noted, as they are transient.

Hi there. I have been trying to reach someone via email and have not had any success.

I had a major computer failure a while back and lost my wholesale login. I need to know how to retrieve it. Can anyone help?

Thank you so much.

patchcrist --

You may be thinking of some other manufacturer of spiritual supplies. In the 22 years that our catalogue has been online, we have never had a "wholesale login" system in place and have never supplied anyone with a "wholesale login."

We do sell our goods to many wholesale accounts worldwide, and here is how we do it:

http://luckymojo.com/wholesale.html

You can call the shop at 707-887-1521 between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Pacific Time, seven days a week to confirm this.

All we require to set up your wholesale account is a copy of your business license and that each order you place meets our flexible minimum quantity / minimum total standards as outlined on the web page cited above.

We look forward to being of service to you.

I have a question and I couldn't find the best thread-- so I apologize in advance if this isn't the place for this question/discussion..

I use eBay a lot, not a lot but enough; and I noticed some LM packaging and some things that had "Lucky Mojo" in the title and description as well.. my question is -- Does LM sell products on eBay as well as the LM website?
Thank you St. Jude! Your help was much appreciated!

inquiringminds128,

Lucky Mojo does sell to individuals in the states that do sell some Lucky Mojo products online, some sell more then others. I am not sure about every seller at ebay. They may be people selling items they own or authorized resellers, or they may be trying to get attention but not be selling real Lucky Mojo products.

Lucky Mojo also sells wholesale to people with storefronts all around the country, so it may be worth a trip to the one in your state or a close state to see what they have.

So all parties on the list of authorized sellers sell items that come from the actual LMCC, but may have different packaging correct?

Hello SagittariusLover128,

I might be misunderstanding your question, but if an authorized seller is selling Lucky Mojo products, they will leave the Lucky Mojo products in their packaging. Those Lucky Mojo products will look, smell and work just as well as products bought straight out of Lucky Mojo in California, because that's what they are! I hope that answers your question :)

Okay-- I was asking because I was browsing through a couple of the retailers on the list and some of them have similar almost identical product names/descriptions, but the packaging looks different.

SagittariusLover128 --

Dozens of companies make "Chocolate Chip Cookies," but only Tate's makes "Tate's Bakehouse Chocolate Chip Cookies."

Dozens of companies make "Italian Biscotti," but if you are wise, you will only buy "Nonni's Italian Biscotti."

Look at the label (font style, image, colours, etc.) -- that is the TRADEMARK.

Read the text describing the product and its use -- that is the COPYRIGHT.

Look at the name and address of the maker -- that is who made the product and who stands behind it.

Compare products from various companies on points like price, quality, efficacy, and customer service outreach -- and i think that you will find that we at the Lucky Mojo Curio Company take our responsibility as spiritual teachers and helpers just as seriously as we take our responsibility as product makers, which is something that not every company can say.

Remember too that when you buy from Lucky Mojo, you are also "buying" this free Forum and our free weekly radio show, where we will help you to become a home practitioner, or even, if your desire and skills lead you there, to become a professional root doctor -- and/or a wholesale customer who sells Lucky Mojo products at your own online or bricks-and-mortar shop.

Just trying to understand the pricing here, are the retailers at the liberty to charge per their preference? Coz the price on the LM website is drastically different from the retailer here, so can someone please help me understand?

dhivs,

They purchase them from Lucky mojo and then sell them to their customers, there is going to be a price increase to pay for the transactions between them and lucky mojo and them and you. Reliable because they are certified selling them, unlike items you may see on ebay and not know if its real, or a bottle that someone filled with random oil.

Thanks for the reply JayDee,
It is way cheaper to buy directly from the LM website including shipping, for ex- a retailer sells the bath crystals/ oil for usd15, where as the whole kit on LM website is usd20,

dhivs ,

It can be and likely is! One of the good things is if you live by or in an area of an authorized reseller you can go their and by products. IE I live 15 miles from a shop that sells LM oils, I go their if I run out buy am in between orders.

Thank you. I've looked them up. I'm better off ordering from you all in California.

At least I know what I'm getting is authentic. Besides, the gas money to get to these places is more than Lucky Mojo shipping costs.

Thanks

Good Day All,

I'm a prospective student and I have been inspired to start a shop on Etsy in the meantime to replace the income I was making and my idea is to make/blend hoodoo perfume/oil and incense recipes I've found in The Black Folder edited by Cat Yronwode and other books I've been studying from.

I plan to purchase the Rootworks & Churches Special Oil 4oz for the single oils I'll need (cinnamon essential oil, lavender essential oil, etc) and individual incense fragrances (Frankincense incense powder, Bay leaf Incense powder, Sandalwood Incense Powder, etc) I need, plus utilize the image labels included on The Lucky Mojo Conjure Toolbox and other images I've collected so far.

I just want to make sure this is ok. Eventually, I'd like to become a wholesaler in the near future when I get a website platform of my own. But for now, I want to prepare and practice making these to get familiar with the products while working to study with Cat Yronwode. Thank You. :)

Hello alisia antonette,

Many people experiment with blending oils and herbs, roots etc. into their own custom formulas. It's a good way to find what works for you.

That said, I would be concerned about adding incense powder to an oil. Incense is typically burned on charcoal, so unless I misunderstood your post, I would not be adding that to your oils.

Good luck if you decide to take the course. You would absolutely love it!

I hope this helps, and best of luck to you.

Thank you, Miss Athena, for the response, I am going to make them separate, oils & incense respectively, sorry if it sounded like I was going to blend them as one, lol. Yes, definitely helps!

alisia antonette --

Hello, and thanks for your interest in my course.

As this is a thread about folks who buy wholesale from our shop and then resell on other platforms, i would like to comment on your business plan -- namely that you intend to buy 4 oz oils at a RETAIL BULK VOLUME DISCOUNT, blend them, and resell them -- but to delate getting a wholesale account and buying at a WHOLESALE DISCOUNT.

You are just making it difficult for your new business to turn a profit.

Buy WHOLESALE, sell RETAIL.

Don't take a courtesy 10, 15, 20, or 30 percent RETAIL BULK VOLUME DISCOUNT when you can buy the same product at a clean 50% WHOLESALE DISCOUNT and resell at 100%.

The only cost of a wholesale account is that you need to provide us with a copy of your own local business license / resale license (this cost varies by state and county), and the fact that you must make a wholesale minimum total outlay per purchase (ours is $150.00). To offset this, you pay only exact shipping and your DISCOUNT is far greater.

Just remember -- a retail bulk discount is not a wholesale discount. Don't hobble your brand new business by trying to live off a 10 - 30% margin.

End of business advice! :-)

I have just emailed my business license to you guys and am looking forward to possibly becoming eligible for wholesale ordering! I have been wanting to sign up for wholelsale ordering for awhile now, and at the same time would like to sign up for the Correspondence Course very soon.

My question: Can I also purchase my items for the class through the wholesale prices or will I need to order them retail. It's fine regardless, I'm still going to sign up for classes.

I am already a root worker, but I am always hungry for more education concerning Hoodoo. I have been a practitioner for a year now, and want to go all the way with learning what Cat Yronwode has to offer.

Also, my 2nd question is that I'm looking into opening up a small online store which will be connected to my current website for rootwork, and was wondering how your customers who have online stores order from you since the min. order for wholesale is $150? I know you don't dropship, but is there any other option?

Thanks, Dana F.

Hello, Danflan73.

Thanks for your interest in opening a wholesale account at our shop, and thanks for your interest in my course.

1) Yes, if you have a wholesale account, the purchases you make via that account can be counted as part of the required purchases for my correspondence course. The point of the requirements is to make sure that the student has the materials on hand that are described in the course, so that the learning is tactile, aromatic, experiential, and spiritual.

2) I take it that running a business is fairly new to you, so let me explain.

To get a wholesale account, you must make a $150.00 purchase, true, but the really important thing to us, as handicrafters of the goods (remember, there is no factory!!!! these products are not machine-made!!!) is that you must purchase 3 of each title. We can make more items per hour (bringing the cost down for us) if we make them in quantity (say a flat of 70 oils at a time), and then those can be sold at a FIFTY PERCENT DISCOUNT (half price).

The idea of "wholesale" is an old term that refers to "whole" (unbroken) case lots (the whole case, the whole crate, the whole boxcar load), and we have stretched it as far as we can by saying "three per title." In reality, a flat of oils is 70 oils. If we sold by the flat at half-price, we would be in line with 19th century norms of trade.

We make almost NO money on wholesale. Selling wholesale is both a courtesy to aspiring shopkeepers and fellow rootworkers, and a help to our employees, to keep them working a full 8 hours a day.

If we sold less than 3 items per title and less than $150.00 per wholesale order, we would be essentially selling everything we make at half price. Obviously that would be impossible for us.

We set the prices that we do based on the cost of labour, the cost of materials, and the amount of time spent handling orders (invoicing, pulling, packing, and shipping). Invoicing, in particular, takes time. By limiting wholesale to 3 per title, we cut down our invoicing time by ONE-THIRD (and we pay the folks who do the invoicing a good wage, so you can see how that saves us money too).

I am sure you did not mean that you think our goods are overpriced and should be sold to you as singles, half-price, and as few as one oil per order, but many folks do ask for this, so i am happy to explain, in the event that anyone else wonders about this.

Now, Dafnflan73, i had to remove the link to your own store site out of your post (this is our store site, not yours, :-) ) -- but i decided to visit your site -- and i was horrified to find that you have a huge investment in ripping off my friends in the occult, pagan, and hoodoo communities! You are a thief!

I sent this message to you (edited here a bit):

Most of the pdf books you are sharing here are illegal to share. They are protected by the copyright laws of the United States and you are ripping off living authors. Please stop doing this. It makes your religion (Wicca) look evil. It makes you as magicians look like frauds. No one will entrust their business to a known copyright thief except another known copyright thief. You will not be accepted among the honest and upright people of this world. I beg and implore you to reconsider how you are hurting my friends -- and how hurting them will hurt your reputation.

Buy books and sell them. Write your own books. But do not sink to the level of a common street mugger and distribute ripped-off pdfs of books by authors whose incomes depend on book sales.

You approached my company's Forum, asking about wholesale terms and taking my course. I cannot and will not befriend, sell to, or teach people who distribute illegal pdfs of magical books.

I beg you -- before you get mad at me, before you get defensive -- to think. I am a decades-long friend of Orion Foxwood. You are distributing an illegal pdf of his book. I am friendship-bound, honour-bound, and duty-bound to tell him. And i know that if i were to sell you any of the 36 books i have published (about 10 of which i have written) you would pdf them and rip off all my sales.

The occult community is a small, dedicated, friendly place -- please, please do not think that distributing illegal copies of books is the way to get ahead. Please think of us as colleagues and companions of the way, not as prey for you to take down and tear apart for a moment's fame as the place to get free, illegal copies of books.

In my years of experience, less than 1% of those who are distributing illegal copies of books ever wake up and "get it." I always try, though, to reach out, to say, "You are HURTING us. Please stop!" And it almost never works. There is so deep a selfishness and a feeling of greedy cleverness that the call to justice, clarity, and peaceful harmony falls on deaf ears. I have to try, though. And now i have finished speaking.

You have MY BOOK, "Hoodoo Herb and Root Magic on your site and i will, of course, proceed immediately to legal action. Copyright violation is punishable by fines and jail time.

Hello to all, I was looking to purchase lucky mojo online ,I know currently lucky mojo is backed up with orders, when I called on Monday. I have searched the forum and have no stores I can drive to for products either. Any ebay or online store recommendations, you may have,I'm looking to buy ASAP. I'm not sure due to length of time of this subject,if any online retailers are still active ie on Ebay, etsy, etc. Any reply will be grateful. Thank you.

To search eBay for our products, all you have to do is write "lucky mojo curio" In the search box.

I just did it now and got a list of 94 products currently for sale at eBay by various of our wholesalers. On any day, i am sure the number returned will be different. Since 2005 i have never done a search for Lucky Mojo Curio and not found retailers selling our products. If you strike up a good relationship with a retailer, you may be able to ask them to order items for you.

We have more than 50 active wholesalers ordering from us at the present time. Most sell locally, but quite a few do sell on eBay.

Good luck.

Do you have a wholesale account at Lucky Mojo and are on their list of approved resellers? I would sort that out with the shop first.

Evenin' folks! I am making my list of Lucky Mojo books to purchase in anticipation of applying to the Course in coming weeks. My question is: does Lucky Mojo get more of the money if I purchase from the website, or from Amazon? Or does it not make a difference? Should I buy the course books individually or just go ahead and hoard them all at once from the start, hehe. Just shhhh don't tell my wife I am buying *more* books. I'll tuck them somewhere among my home library where they can simply "blend in", haha! ;-) Thanks! ~ Lucibet

A big wholesale order packed up and ready to ship from the Lucky Mojo Curio Co. in Forestville, California. One box contains books on magic, spell-casting, and divination systems that we have published; the other is filled with our famous pre-packs of herbal sachet powders, bath crystals, incense powders, roots, herbs, and minerals.

Our catalogue is online at luckymojo.com/catalogue — and we sell by mail order, too, both retail and wholesale.
