Is it best to do your own spell, or let a person who been practicing magic now for over ten years? I feel a little ify because well I heard the best spell is the one you make, but i don't practice magic. I feel I would fail. Yeah I know great thinking right? How I know I can trust this person as well? Like what if they don't do the spell? it's not like I can be there as they perform it. I have to go base on there word. :O

I totally need a tarot card reading, any good sites or phone calls I could go to? Because I feel so CONFUSED.

Try the AIRR for selecting a good reader/rootworker. All certified and approved by Cat.

As for the do-it-yourself vs let a professional do it, I have yet to figure that one out, but I think I would try the work myself and see how that goes. You can always ramp up later.
Just have confidence in yourself. Its like anything else. You don't need special magical powers to do this, but practice will improve your game.
If you think you will fail, you will. If you can boost up your confidence and have faith in yourself, you will be more successful.

I think it would be best for you to work with a rootworker, and let them know that you would like to be guided to do some of the work along with them. They can direct you to appropriate spell kits to use, and this will help you get your feet wet a bit to get some experience.

Lou Flores likely does as he's studied with curandero/as and generally they are Spanish-speakers. Some of the others might as well, so you could certainly send inquiries to those who you are interested in.

The reputable and ethical readers of AIRR will also tell you honestly whether a work is beyond your skill and experience. If they feel like you can handle it they'll let you know, if not then they'll tell you and offer to either take on the case or walk you through it.

Yes a professional rootworker can either do the work for you or guide you in your own workings. There are some very simple rituals that they can suggest for you to do. Personally, I feel that by taking on some simple work yourself, you really get 'into' it, and you will feel empowered, as you learn to take control of your own situation and find direction.
If you do not have the confidence to do all the work yourself, and feel more comfortable with a rootworker doing it for you, I understand. But there is nothing like participating in your own work, IMHO. At least working along with the rootworker.
You know that old saying "You can give a man a fish and feed him for a day, or teach him how to fish, so he can feed himself forever".

My mother is much older and only speaks spanish and would be more comfortable speaking with a female rootworker. I've emailed a few and unfortunately no luck. Any advice??? Thank you.

Can you translate for her? I have worked with clients and I bet that miss cat has as well who needed translations. Its pretty easy to set up a conference call for free so that 3 people can be on the phone--the reader, the querant, and a translator.

Did you ever get a reading? You don't need to come to the shop for that -- all of the readers of AIRR work by email or phone (or both).

You waited two weeks while the situation changed, but now he is departing. Do you have his hair or semen? Are you working on him at all, with or without spiritual supplies?

You need someone to teach you how to do this work (via a consultation of magical coaching), because just listing products and spells is not going to get you involved until you face the next crisis and come begging for us to help again.

Umm... see he is angry at you for getting HIM caught in this situation. He got HIMSELF caught up in this situation. Its his own damn fault. To me, its obvious he just saw you in a certain way, and this man is not trustworthy. He might just do the very same thing to you.

So a reading is definitely in order as Cat said. I would make sure that you ask how all this would play out if you and him were to get together. If you are able to get the work to get him to want to be with you and so on...then you need to make sure you do some work to keep him faithful. And sometimes that can be a difficult situation if he is a chronic cheater. In any case, get a reading see if he is worth it...and if not move on and find yourself worthy of your time.

You need to definately get a reading on this. You've held off a bit long and now things are spiraling out of control. This doesn't mean that things are at a loss, but rather you're going to have to do some work. You need to start seeing if you can get his personal concern, get a reading, and get ready to do the work.

Look into Reconciliation products to start you off and a honey jar.

You don't sign up there, you pick a rootworker from the list and on the worker's page it will list ways to contact them and prices. Most have an email address right on the page.

Do not click on pictures of the work. It is not necessary. You need to just contact the people via email or by phone. Some of them have links to their web pages under the contact info.

Hello, I've been lurking here for some time now.

I have a situation being handled by an AIRR worker, who is currently somewhat unavailable, so I thought I would ask here.

She is working to break up an ex and her long distance boyfriend, and I was visiting her family, where she is staying, to see our son. Everything was normal until she started talking to her boyfriend on the phone, and I started feeling extremely uneasy and just kind of...strange. It's hard to explain. It was bad enough I ended up having to leave early.

I was wondering if it's normal to feel things like that if work is being done on a person in your proximity, especially by someone with a good reputation for results in this area. (The work was started recently, and according to a member of the family, the 'signs within 3 days' seems to have been met, as well.)

If not, in a recent reading she told me I was probably empathic. Would that have something to do with what I felt?

I'm not quite sure if this was the right part of the forum to ask this, but it seemed the most appropriate.

Additionally, would it help when dressing a letter to seal the letter with wax from an appropriate ritual candle?

I have spent a lot of time reading up on all of the AIRR Rootworkers page's and read all of the customer testimonials on some of them as well. Everyone seems so great but how do I know which rootworker to choose? I would like someone who specializes in career and success but I just can not seem to come to a decision. Adivce?

No one can make that decision for you, hun..
just keep reading the profiles and see which one you gravitate towards most.

if you can't decide now, maybe take a break and go back to it tomorrow..
just keep reading the profiles and see which ones talk about career and success the most. eventually one person will stick out to you most!

Yes, you are posting to the right area; your feelings are normal, seems to me anyway. I would not seal a letter with wax, I would dust it with an appropriate sachet powder. By the way, since you have someone working for you, try calling, emailing, etc., because they are more familiar with your case. Hope this helps.

If you feel uneasy then don't go with that person. A reader is a guide that helps you through life, if you can't see yourself turning to that person without deep apprehnsion then walk away.

I like to use root workers to back up what I have done because I'm not that advance myself I'm still in the learning stage, I just think that you should drop a line to them every so often to let them know that you are doing a certain candle or something like that should they have a different idea or strategy.

If you decide to get a reading from an AIRR worker, it would have to be by telephone, email, or skype for now, until we certify and sign up a member in your area.

You first posted the last day of August. I am sure you could have gotten a reading from an AIRR reader by now. So definitely pick a reader and get the reading done - the date will come sooner than you think. When I got a reading with an AIRR member, I only had to wait about a week/10 days. Just a heads up, if you want to hold out for Cat to do a reading it will be about six weeks so it may be best to get a diff reader for now if time is of the essence for you.

You can read the testimonials page and see which readers apply to you. We cannot pick out a reader for you as everyone has their preferences. In addition, I would create a honey jar, and work on the romance side of things. But it is no surprise he sees you as a sexual object and just wants that type of relationship with you since that is all it has ever been. I would recommend that you move on as what someone will do for you they will definitely do to you...meaning he cheated on her with you do not think he wont do it to you.

10 minute readings! When people ask me how they can choose between one reader/worker and another this is my first recommendation. Several of us at AIRR do 10 minute readings for $10 and a couple of people do them for slightly more money. You can get three ten minute readings for the price of 1 half hour reading (I am going by my rates and miss cat's rates here btw) and you can see which reader/worker you resonate with the best. If you like someone's reading style a lot but they don't do the kind of work you are interested in or they cannot take on your case then ask them to refer you to one of their colleagues who can.

We don't know why -- but when nagasiva went to their "help" area he saw dozens of posts from others with the same problems -- lost their admin privileges to their own groups or business pages, lost their pages, etc. My guess is that there was a major glitch during the recent change in layout and format for the site. It's not worth trying to recover -- it was just a series of short messages and links. The only real loss is the 250-person fan-base. We're back up to 75 people as of tonight, 24 hours after the re-build. Keep talking it up and people will return.

Many of us at AIRR (www.readersandrootworkers.org) specialize in love and sex work among other things like the lovely starsinthesky said. Most of us will not take on spell work until you have had a reading so check out the readings that people offer (we read before taking on cases because we want to make sure that both you and we are going in the right direction.) Several of us offer shorter readings ($10 for ten minutes) so you might want to look at that as well.
