Awesome! There's been a lot of that going on today in the forums! I encourage you to read the information on that web page carefully. What Ms Cat is doing there is making comparisons between different recipes, debunking those that are phony as they relate to the tradition of hoodoo and validating others that, indeed, have a foundation in or meet the criteria of working in the tradition.

Good luck!

I also just placed my 3rd order and slowly building things up. Quite excited to get started eventually when the moment is right which hopefully is not too far! :)

Hi everyone!

I am so happy I have found Lucky Mojo and super excited to eventually try to sign up for this course. :)

I live in Northern Europe (The Netherlands) and would love to connect with anyone that is African American. I am most definitely interested to build up a long lasting friendship and connection as opposed to only just help for a future assignment though.

My cultural background is quite a mixed bag, I was born in Spain but I have a Northern African background from both my mother and father. Aside from this I also have spent a third of my life in the Middle East which has also influenced me a big deal.

Would love to hear back and connect!

Hi, Dmilud --

Welcome to the Forum and thanks for your interest in my course. Did you know that there is a graduate of my course and professional spiritual practitioner in the Netherlands? He is known as Balthazar. You may look him up at AIRR, the Association of Independent Readers and Rootworkers, at http://readersandrootworkers.com -- and i think he may be a good friend to have if you go forward as a student. He lives in the Netherlands but was born in South Africa, and is fluent in English and Dutch. Check him out!

By the way, i am in very small part North African -- through a mixture of Spanish, Portuguese, Sephardic Jewish, and Amazigh (a.k.a. Berber or "Moorish") on my paternal grandmother's line.

Thank you for your reply Ms. Cat!

Wow that is indeed a very interesting background. My biological father's side (long story) comes mainly from Morocco and Algeria, older generation also from Niger as far as I could gather which unfortunately isn't as much as I'd wish since I have not been able to establish contact with them. As I said, long story that probably deserves to be talked over a cup of coffee. :)

I have contacted Balthazar through facebook, it would definitely be great to get acquainted with him as he lives in the neighbour city! Talking about acquaintances, how would I go about sending you a friend request in FB? It seems it is only possible to "follow" your profile. I have read it is a requirement to meet prior to taking the course and apart from that it would obviously be a pleasure.

Hi, Dmilud --

As far as i know, anyone can send me a friend request. Be sure you are looking at the page with me in green clothes. Someone made a page "about" me in which i am wearing blue clothes -- and i have nothing to do with that.

I am getting ready to place my 5th and final order of required class materials (of course, I bought many other things, too), and then to request an interview.

I had several things to finish before I could apply to take the class -- one was to relicense as an EMT, which required my full attention. But the road is clear before me now. I even had a dream the other night about studying and apprenticing with Catherine. It was very positive and heartening. I hope it is a good omen.

I've been reading all the books cover to cover, trying a few things. I've found a black church near my town that I plan to attend at least once a month. I've read the course requirements again and again, and listened to many of the radio shows. I'm very excited to get started.

Happy New Year, everyone!

Hello, Desert Lavender,

Thank you for your thorough attention to detail. I schedule course interviews every Monday and Tuesday, if there are applicants. It helps use with the record-keeping if, when you place your final order for the required materials, you write in the message box something to the effect of "Hi. I am a prospective student of cat's. Please mark my product orders in the database." This will alert the order entry person to set you as a prospective student and we will be able to locate you and reach out for a contact date for the interview.

Thanks -- and i look forward to speaking with you.

Hello,

I have been considering enrolling in the Correspondence Course and inadvertently purchased a lot of the required items. I would like to be on your radar for enrollment in the next two months. I have a big exam coming up in May, and I don't want to enroll until I can give the course my full attention, so I would like to apply after May (late May). Interestingly enough, I have been discussing the decision to enroll into this course with my mother, and now she is interested in it too. We have discussed that this will require her attention for at least a year and she is really excited about it. She will also be meeting the "prerequisites" for the course (purchases, readings, etc.)

I say all this just to put me in your sights Catherine, I really look forward to working with you and successfully enrolling in your course. In the meantime, I will be reading and preparing as much as I can in between studying. Thanks!

Hello briley57,

How wonderful that you and your mother are considering the course! You would love it, and you would have a built-in study partner.

You may wish to contact the shop and ask that they flag your orders for consideration of the course requirements. You would then need to have an interview with Miss cat before she can accept you in the course, then you would order the course book (which is only possible to do once she accepts you as a student). Once it arrives, you can begin your studies when it suits you best. It is a correspondence course, so you progress through it at your own pace.

I hope this helps, and I hope to see you and your mom in the student forum soon!
Good luck.

Thank you for your well wishes, Miss Athena,

I’m currently getting my required purchases together, however I’ve gotten a bit stumped about what is considered to be what.

Do Come To Me and Attraction products meet the love requirements?

Also, what constitutes a root vs an herb? I know the requirement is for 2 herbs and 2 roots, however I’ve chosen blood root and blue flag root (from the herb section) and master root and queen elizabeth ( from the root section). Is this appropriate? There’s so many items being offered, it hard to dwindle down and make a choice.

As far as minerals go, does having pyrite gravel vs a chunk of pyrite make a difference in terms of requirement? From experience, i prefer smaller pieces for mojos rather than one big chunk.

Lastly, Does Hoyt’s cologne suffice for the liquid wash of water requirement?

Thanks

Hello briley57,

Let me try to answer your questions in the order you asked them.

Yes, Come to Me is a love product. Attraction can be used to draw in many things, and love is one of them. That should work, but Miss cat can tell you for sure.

Master Root and Queen Elizabeth Root are both roots. If you have chosen Bloodroot and Blue Flag Root from the herbs section, then Lucky Mojo has classified them as herbs. Once again, I would check with the shop to be sure.

Small pyrite gravel is always preferable in a mojo vs. a large chunk of any mineral, so that is a good choice.

For the purchase of washes and waters, I would get Chinese Wash. Hoyt's Cologne is an anointing cologne, so that would come under a different category.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

Hello, briley57 --

First, my thanks to Athena. She is right, Attraction can count for love. That is fine. She is also correct that Hoyt's Cologne is a perfume, not a wash or water. Chinese Wash is the most traditional example of a wash or water that we sell. You will also need a two-part liquid such as Peace Water or Double Luck Perfume.

Now let me clear up the last question:

I use the common English words "roots" and "herbs" with simple colloquial intent. This is explained in a disquisition on the abominable practice of "green for green and brown for brown" in the introduction to my book "Hoodoo Herb and Root Magic."

For sales and inventory purposes, Blood Root (whole), Blue Flag Root (chipped), John the Conqueror Root (whole, chipped), Angelica Root (whole, powdered), or any Root in any form (whole, broken pieces, shredded, chipped, or powdered) may have a SKU that begins with :

"HER" (which to the shop means "Pack-by-weight, black-and-white label, set-price, retail botanical goods")
or
"BOT" (which to the shop means "Pack-by-unit-count, colour label, individual-price, retail botanical goods)

This is not relevant for the course.

For the course requirement, i simply want you to get two HERBS (the top or green parts or the flowers of plants) and two whole (not chipped) ROOTS (the underground tan or brown portions of plants) so that you will have them to use in making your mojo hand for Homework # 8.

The course is not aimed at beginners and if you cannot yet tell an herb from a root, you should spend a little more time with my public books before you sign up to take the course. I suggest that you get and read the two public books "Hoodoo Herb and Root Magic," to familiarize yourself with herbs and roots, and "The Art of Making Mojos," to familiarize yourself with how mojos look and are made.

I look forward to getting to know you and teaching you!

I have been wanting to take this for a long time. I love Cat's Hoodoo Herb & Root Magic book and I am constantly referring to it. I placed an order today and I am so excited about it. I am already checking out the store to see what else I want to order for my next order. I am checking out her oils and sachets since, I need to stock up on my oils. I love the fact that there is so much information not only available on her website to let you know what the herbs are used for and also about the oils. That really makes it so easy when you are trying to work on something. I read through some of the posts on the forum today and it's very cool to see how interactive and informative this forum is. I look forward to getting more supplies and perhaps getting into the correspondence course eventually.

Hi All,

oniomiliaded, I feel the same way. I have been loving on and referring to Catherine's HHRM pretty constantly since I ordered it.

Catherine and Miss Athena, I believe I have completed all my necessary purchases, and purchased the Correspondence course in my last order, so I wanted to reach out and say I would absolutely love to take the course and am very excited about it.

I sent Cat a FB friend request with my real name (Andi Martin) a while back after I got super excited at how effective your products are, but my request is still pending. As of 4/15 it will be exactly 4 months since I became a customer of your delightful shop. Please let me know if I can schedule a phone interview or if I need to do anything else to apply for your correspondence course, please.
Thank you tons. I look forward to chatting.

Hello, EndlessSky79.

First, let me go find you on FB and friend you, okay?

Okay, got that done -- you have a cute cat!

Next, someone in the shop -- either Yose or Nikki -- will have to look up ytour required supply purchases and check them off. Call the shop during business hours and see if someone can do that for you.

Next, we have 8 mutual friends, only one from the hoodoo community (they are occultists, mostly), and no people of colour as mutual friends. (You do have black friends on FB, though.) So i would like to suggest that you make some friends in FB as you must in real life -- with Arican-American folks who practice hoodoo. There are members of AIRR, for instance, who are Black, and tend to friend anyone who asks, as a way of interacting in the rootwork community.

If you have not already done so, please read these two pages about the course:

Cultural Immersion
http://luckymojo.com/culturalimmersion.html

The Excuses
http://luckymojo.com/theexcuses.html

And even having White or Asian friends in the hoodoo community will help you as you go through the lessons. Many folks here on the forum (not all, but many) use their real names, so you can read their posts, check out their personalities, and, especially if they are Mods, and therefore friendly and helpful, find them on Facebook. Folk magic is always a community tradition, so join the community.

Then get Yose to schedule you a time to talk to me -- that will be on a Monday or a Tuesday. Any week soon except for the Apprenticeship week (May 6 0 10, 2019).

Then we can talk and i can prep you for what you will need, what you can expect, and how to get into the private students forum.

Hi Catherine,

Awesome! Thank you for your swift response, clear directions, and for FB friending me. I am grateful for your warm invitation to the rootworker community, which I happily accept! Also, thank you for the compliment on my princess Kitana. I am very fortunate to be her two legger.

I am totally jazzed to read that you are amongst other things a distant relative of Fred Astaire! The man was magical; it seems to run in the family.

I look forward to calling the shop during business hours and will check with Yose or Nikki about my purchases.

I am happy to make new friends and enjoy getting to know a community through interaction. I will go and friend request several black AIRR members if they will have me.

I have read both your Cultural Immerson and the Excuses pages. I am all about learning new info about the black American community and appreciate the opportunity to do so.

The Excuses page makes me alternate between truly horrified, saddened and pissed. The truth can be an ugly thing sometimes. I sincerely hope to never have anything I say make it on to that page.

After I make new friends and check on my purchases, I will contact Yose to schedule an appointment time to chat with you. I very much look forward to doing so.

Bright blessings,

Andi

Hello everyone,

I have a question, what happens if you already own some of the required books for the course. I did put in an order today of some of the requirements but when I looked at the required books, I’ve already order some of them from amazon. For the books I don’t have and the rest of the materials, I will continue to order from the shop. It I don’t want to be disqualified for the class nor order books I already have. What do I do?

Hello Lawjack79,

Technically, you would need to make your purchases from Lucky Mojo so that the shop has a record of your items. You may wish to contact them and ask directly, but be prepared for them to give you a similar answer.

Good luck, you will love the course!

Hi. I ordered the Baker’s Dozen and Hoodoo Herb and Root Magic last night. I picked books on the required list and suggested reading list for my first order. I’ve been studying on my own for a few years. I live in an area where Hoodoo is practiced and we even have a shop that sells spiritual supplies. I’ve been drawn to folk magic for years. My mom used to take me out foraging for herbs and roots to make medicine when I was little. I love Lucky Mojo’s oils and have purchased several on EBay a few years ago. I have been wanting to take this course since 2013 but was unable to at the time. The time is right now so I made the first step and ordered some books. Next order will be for supplies on the list and the Black Folder.

Hi, Pisces Lady.

Currently my Facebook friends list is full, but every few days i delete old "dead" accounts, so if you wait a while and send me a friend request, i will respond.

Call the Lucky Mojo Curio Co. shop at 707-887-1521 and ask to speak to Nikki, Yose, or Leslie -- then ask them to check off your required purchases and get you set up for an interview with me on the next available Monday or Tuesday.

Thanks for jumping over all of the hurdles, and i hope to talk to you soon.

I am SO EXCITED about the prospect of being able to take the course someday!!! I placed my 1st order with LM just the other day, I've always made my own oils, powders, etc. with recipes from various hoodoo books, but I want to really learn about the roots & bones of Hoodoo...and it seems that all roads always lead me back to LM & Cat. Sooooo....here I am, beginning my relationship with both. I was hoping that by reading the online book, purchasing a couple of the required materials with every paycheck, and purchasing materials for my personal practice through LM, (instead of through my current suppliers) I can build the necessary dialogue need to be considered a qualified candidate for the coursework. (keep your fingers crossed for me) Does anyone have any other suggestions for me?

Hello CrystalAlchemist,

Welcome to the Lucky Mojo forum! We are happy to have you here.

There are several requirements for taking the Hoodoo Rootwork Correspondence Course, including required purchases and a personal interview with Miss cat for her to accept you as a student.

Please read through the posts in this thread to better understand the purchase requirements. Also, please read through the following thread to understand the course itself:
hrcc-hoodoo-rootwork-correspondence-cou ... C%20course

I hope this helps. Good luck.

Hi, Miss Athena,
Thanks for the welcome! I'm happy to be here!!
I'm in the process of reading Cat's book "Hoodoo in Theory and Practice" and I am planning on ordering all the required items & books over the next couple of months, along with some other supplies that I need for my own regular use. I was planning on scheduling my interview with Miss Cat after all of that is purchased, I figured anything before that is just a waste of both of our time. Is there anything else you can suggest I did read Miss Cat's page about the course itself & it's requirements, including the cultural immersion. I don't think I should have any issues fulfilling any of the requirements. Are there any other things not listed that I should read or research in the meantime, to help me be better prepared?
Thank you, St. Expedite!

Hello CrystalAlchemist,

Just read the posts here and in the link I gave you and have the shop flag your purchases for consideration as a new student. They can tell you if you're missing anything.

Read the forum as much as you can, to familiarize yourself with hoodoo. It's an education in itself.

Good luck.

A friend asked these questions via Facebook messenger. I am replying here, so that others may receive an answer to these possibly unspoken questions:

1) I saw on the website that all items had to be purchased and my question is am I able to do the purchases as six purchases rather than than four?

2) After finishing the class do you have any advance correspondence classes?

3) Do you offer a wholesale discount for students who want to make a living and being a root worker and offer it to people?

4) Do you have any tips on how to get started professionally once we finish the class?

Thanks for asking! Here are my replies:

1) You may make as many purchases as you wish before signing up for the couse. Four purchases is the MINIMUM number, and i have set it that way because a lot of rich folks wanted to come in, bu everything AND the course book on one day -- and when i allowed that, they never did their homework assignments or graduated. So i make them wait a little, cool their haste, and hope they will either NOT take the course or will learn a little respect for the process. On the other hand, some of my very best students ordered for TEN YEARS before decifding to the take the class. Your isea of six purchases is just fine!

2) No, i do not have an advanced correspondence sourse, but i do offer FREE in-person training to folks who can come out and study with me for 5 days at a time. This is called the Apprenticeship Program, and it is FREE because students have to pay their own travel , lodging, and food, and i receive no payment at all for teaching them, but they make products for the shop, as a way of learning and paying back my (doonated) time.

3) Yes, we do! We love selling wholeale to graduated students and i love helping my stidents to set up shops, psychic services, and churches of their own. Our wholesale terms are found here:
http://luckymojo.com/wholesale.html

4) I have a LOT of tips on how to be a professional. Some of this is covered in the course book. Also, once you become a student, you will have access to a private part of this forum that only students can see, and in there we have a lot of archived discussions on how to jumpt-start a professional career, and i will answer any questions there and help folks if they ask me for help.

I look forward to seeing you make your purchases. When you do, please write the words "Prospective Student" in the message area of your order, so we can start tracking your purchases.

Good luck!

Someone asked these questions of me on my personal Fcaebook pofile, via FB Messenger. As always, i am copying the questions and my replies here:

=====

Good morning I have a couple questions okay? So I'm looking at the requirements for the class and it says that you require your students to have been a purchaser from your shop well I don't disagree with this but I don't want to blindly byproducts either when I decided to join this course is because I wanted a directed way to learn because I'm very interested I've been looking on Pinterest I've been looking on YouTube but I need a very directed and purposeful way to learn I don't want to just be scattered buying products that I don't know how to use that's the reason that I wanted to join the class now what should I be buying if I'm not buying the things that I need for the class

I'm needing a little bit more Direction like what should I be reading and what should I be buying I want to go ahead and set up an altar but I don't want to do this blindly and be guessing that's why I want to take a class because I want to do the right thing and going the right direction and not be scattered so with that being said I really without having a class don't know how to get started I though I'm interested in it say for instance I'm interested in cosmetology and I love hair and I've loved it and I've watched videos on it but if I had to go into a store I wouldn't really know what to buy because I wouldn't know what to do first if you understand what I'm saying so I need a little more direction or help in this

I'm really interested in the course and I can almost guarantee you I'll be one of your best students but I just don't know what to do first

=====

Hi - the reason i require students to purchase certain products is to make sure they have the ingredients on hand to do the research taught in the course -- for instance, to take a series of different types of herbal and mineral spiritual baths, to burn incense of varied types, to smell oils made for varied purposes and learn to distinguish between them, and so forth -- and to also have ingredients that will be used in crafting Homework #7 (an herbal oil) and Homework #8 (a mojo hand).

The products add to the cost of the course, but in recompense, the course itself is VERY low-priced by the standard of other such classes -- $2.00 per lesson for 52 lessons in the form of a permanent hardbound book inscribed with your name.

In the meantime, you can also pick up some of the books that are meant for the public and are required reading prior to taking the course. These include a series of inexpensive ($9.00) books on petition papers, mojo bags, candle burning, and so forth. If you like the information and my style of presentation, you can be assured tat the course book is similar, but much more personal in tone, much more historical in its depth, and much ore useful to those who wish to practice regularly for themselves and others.

I suggest that you start with a small order of, say, one book, plus one oil, one powder, one incense, and one bath crystal -- half for drawing something (health, luck, money, or love) and half for reversing or repelling something (enemies, troublesome people). If you like the book and the products, then you can proceed to buying more books and more products. We keep a checklist of what you purchase and it does not matter how many years it is before you buy all the supplies -- we have had folks take five or more years to get the items and learn about them before they sign up for the course.

As always, i will post this question and my reply to the Lucky Mojo Forum and i sincerely encourage you to read and post there, because i do not always have spare time for Facebook messages, while reading and posting to the Forum is part of my daily round of tasks.

=====

Hey Katherine I understand buying the stuff for the course but I thought I read somewhere where it said that I had to have made previous purchases like I don't know what to buy unless I'm buying the stuff for the course

Okay I think I'm just a little nervous I totally get what you say so I should just order a couple books I should just order a couple kits to kind of try everything now I totally get you thank you for your help I'll be enrolling soon

Okay I think I'm just a little nervous I totally get what you say so I should just order a couple books I should just order a couple kids to kind of try everything now I totally get you thank you for your help I'll be enrolling soon

=====

Thanks for understanding. Please do NOT order kits to learn about the products. Each kit only has one brand of product in it, in several forms. To learn about the work, order as many different single items as you wish. There is no discount on the ingredients in the kits, so the cost will be the same, but you will have many more different kinds of items to smell, touch, and use if you order each one by name

Good luck,

Mama J,

Hello and welcome to the forum. I moved your post to this thread since you are not asking about purchases for the course. Your page can be private but to enroll, you need to verify you have connections within the African-American community and the easiest way to do this is by verifying you have them in your circle of friends on Facebook. If this is a concern though I would call the shop and discuss it with them, they may know alternative ways of confirming that I am unaware of. I hope this helps.

Hello Mama J,

As part of the requirements for taking the course, you would need to become Facebook friends with Miss cat (once her friends list clears room for new people). She could then see your posts, to verify that you have African American friends, even if you set your account to the "friends only" state of privacy.

Good luck.

Thank you for the quick response. I do not have a lot of friends out side of my family. Are friends made through new contacts on facebook and fellow students acceptable? (For homework assignment 2) I have never had a facebook account if that says anything about how private of a person I am. Thank you. Mama J.

Mama J --

Folk magic is part of the larger community structure of various cultures. One could not hope to study Italian folk magic without knowing Italian people, or Jewish folk magic without knowing Jewish people. You can't become a baseball player without a team. You can't play poker one-handed.

If having friends is not something you do -- and i know that many people prefer to live without friends -- then joining a community-based form of magic would not serve you well. If you are looking to find black friends now, at this sudden point in your life, just to qualify for my course, then i would recommend that instead of trying to force yourself to do something so far outside your normal interest area, that you read my public books, which is a solitary occupation, then perhaps hang out in this forum for a while, and see how you feel about it in a few months.

In the meantime, these books contain a lot of information on African American hoodoo -- and other cultural forms of folk magic as well. They are reasonably priced and packed with information you can use:

Hi, hope all is well. I was planning to come to the shop tomorrow to get a few Lucky mojo products my local store carries but sold out of in Oakland,Ca and I was wondering for myself can I let someone know if I already had purchased several of the books (before and still have them) to get the requirements accounted for for the course as I now am seeking to submit myself for the enrollment process. Or would I need to purchase again?

(Forgive me if this had already been asked)

Also I originally baught hoodoo herb and root in 2016 as well as papers in my shoe but wasn’t ready for a commitment to schooling but still had the desire as I still have since child hood but I’ve come to a place where I want to become skilled knowledgeable and I am ready.

I feel I meet the posted qualifications with the exception that Miss.Cat I can’t befriend yet because there is no link for me to do so but I do follow her and luck mojo and seek to be able to befriend her.

Hi, Chris107 --

Just bring a photo on your cell phone of any of the required books you have already purchased -- we are fne with that.

When you show up, go into the office and let someone there know your name, show them a photo, and ask them to enter you as a "Prospective Student." They will then make check-offs on all the products you have ever purchased, and they can make a print-out for you that will show you any otems you still need to purchase.

As far as i know, people are sending me friend requests every day and i am accepting them, so there should be no hang-up there, as long as i stay under the 5,000-firneds limit. (Which i always do.)

Because i get so many friend requests, i am more inclined to confirm friendship with someone who has many mutual friends with me. If we have no mutual friends, it may be difficult for me to get a feel for who you are and what you are all about. But, in either case, i am friending folks all the time. Knowing your real name in the shop may help as well.

Perhaps we shall meet!

On my personal Facebook page, i received this message. As always, because i do not use my personal Facebook account for messages about the shop, the church, my course, readings, or rootwork,i am posting it here. I am going to break it down into sections and reply to ech section.

QUERENT:
Im sorry to bother you. Do the supplies like the oils [have to be purchased] in the four month period? Can I order those on my next check or do I have to wait until January to do so?

ME:
Hi, there s no four month period that limits when you can purchase. The idea is the opposite -- you need to take at least 4 months ... you need to hang out with us in the forum and start working with the spiritual supplies for four months, minimum. Some students order products for ten years before they take the course.

QUERENT:
On the forum I did join but my question got deleted. Im little bit confused on that. D

ME:
You say your post was "deleted." That sound very unlikely. It may have been moved. To find all of your posts, go to your profile and search for your previous posts.

QUERENT:
Do I ask a question or introduce myself or answer a question? Im sorry I am trying really hard because this really want to do as a career along with the astrology. Thank you and sorry if Im bothering you.

ME:
You're fine -- no bother at all. You can ask questions, introduce yourself, or take part in conversations. You have to make at least 3 posts because until you get to the number 3, all your posts are hand-approved by the moderators and you will not be able to join the special private student part of the forum. So make three public posts, wait for them to be hand-approved, and you will be a regular forum member.

Good luck, and thank you for working with me.

Hello Rhonda3704.
I'm sure if you check out the main page for the rootwork course, you will be able to find the list of requirements on the course. https://www.luckymojo.com/mojocourse.html is the main page.
I am currently working towards starting the course as well, and I feel that the patience and effort to meet the requirements is worth the work.

Popping back in for a little update- I've been a quiet lurker here for the last year, reading and familiarizing myself with some of the LM products, and have just made my last required purchase for the course (but not the last purchase ever by far). I'm excited to potentially be interviewed and start the course, and have to be honest- I'm worried I might not be "good enough". Going to set those worries to the side tho, and continue forward in my path. Thank you all for being here for the customers.

Don't be worried. I am not the big bad wolf -- i am a very gentle kitty cay! Contact the shop and let Nicole or Leslie know that you have completed your purchases and ask them to leave a note for Yose to set you up for an interview by phone! I look forward to getting to know you, and i hope i can be of service.

A lot of awesome insight here in these forums! I just managed to clear the hangs I had during checkout as precursors to getting the text in hand so that I may start. For now, just lots of reconnaissance and hanging out in the forum. What's cool is a lot of the things that I need for operations current I had bought months before I even knew that I needed them. Definitely grateful to be a part and for sure ready to strike up some massive results with the skills and coursework! #OfficiallyOnTrack

Yes, we keep a list of all purchases going back to 2001, in case someone wants to qualify for the course belatedly. So, for folks who don't know what they have purchased -- call the shop and ask for your list to be checked off as a "prospective student" list, and they can tell you what, if anything, you are missing. :-)

If you are interested in my course, then the next time you order any of the required materials, just add a note in the message area saying that you wish to be marked as a "prospective student." There is no obligation to become a student, but if you mention that, then any items you order from my shop will be check-marked as meeting the course requirements for materials.

The cost is $2.00 per lesson: $104.00 for 52 lessons in the form of a 432-page hardcover clothbound book. Each book is personally inscribed with the student's name and signed by catherine yronwode. Hello all,
I'm preparing to ask for admission to the correspondence course. I put an order in the other day and called the shop to get a list of what my next order should include, and they told me to email and request it that way. That seems eminently sensible- but I didn't get the whole email address? Help please?

It was order@missionaryindependent.....

Cat, we've been friends on fb for years though I actually found out about your shop from Nagasiva, who is rather a prolific poster on the occult forums. I've been to the shop and read the books and the more I've learned and used this way of working, the more I like it. I'll be contacting you once I fulfill the basic requirements.

Thank you,
Ariana

Hello, awhite93 -- and welcome to the Lucky Mojo Forum.

Thanks for your interest in my correspondence course. Due to the amount of work it would take, we cannot provide you with a list of what to purchase, but you can self-regulate your purchases in order to aquire all of the required reading and all of the required product purchases in four purchases (or more, if you choose).

These lists are on the course information page, here:

Hoodoo Rootwork Correspondence Course
http://luckymojo.com/mojocourse.html

You can download or print out the lists and check things off on them at your own pace.

It will help us if you note, "I am a prospectve student" in the message area of each order, so that the order-entry person will know to also check off your purchases against the lists that we maintain in our database.

Once you have purchased everything, you can telephone the shop and ask for an interview with me to be set up. If the person who sets up my schedule cannot talk to you, just leave your name and preferred email address with whoever answers the hone, and request that my scheduler contact you via email.

Thanks again for your interest, and i hope that we do connect and that i can transmit some of this down-home and old-school magic to you.

I would save receipts showing what you purchased. Then call the Lucky Mojo shop and ask them if it will count toward your list of purchases.

I have moved your post to the correct topic on the HRCC Correspondence Course. Please do not start new topics as you did, as this topic already exists.

I have also edited out your personal information in your post.

Please read through the posts in this topic for information on the course. You can contact the Lucky Mojo shop on 707.887.1521 to discuss setting up an interview with Miss cat.

Good luck!

El Tutush --

Please call the shop at 707-887-1521 and ask for the person doing order entry to check your list of purchases and either tell you what is still needed. I looked over your list and found two sachet powders, two herbs, and a few of the required types of oil had not yet been purchased.

Once you have everything in place, they will go head and set you up with a scheduled interview. I have space open on my calendar every Monday and every Tuesday at 4:00 PM Pacific Time to interview students while nagasiva gets them set up with log-ins and avatars for the student area of this forum. If that time of day is not convenient for you, we can change our schedules, to a certain extent. .

I look forward to speaking with you and having you as a student.
