just a tidbit for all who work with Angels. March 24th we celebrate the "Feast Of St Gabriel."

Gabriel sits @ the left-Hand Of God. Is said by some to be the 2nd most important Archangel.

Angels are considered to be neither male or female, however Gabriel is usually pictured as a female. However Gabriel can appear in masculine form.

Considered to be God's envoy to mankind, Gabriel represents overcoming doubts & fears. Element: Water, Direction: West, Season: Winter, Color: Emerald Green. Zodiac signs: Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces (the water signs). Blessed be to St. Gabriel.

In the Catholic Church, there is also a Feast Day for all Archangels, celebrated on September 29th.

What is an appropriate offering to Archangel Gabriel?

We had been trying for years to have a baby. We just couldn't make it go. Angels are the common ground between my spiritual beliefs and my wife's Catholicism. We set up a Gabriel altar (due to association with the moon) with statue, candle, carved glass sigil tea light holder, etc. and everything worked out for once. I would get after her to light the candles and anoint the statue every day. Logan was born a week ago yesterday.

Hello all,
I am looking for help in how to call Archangel Gabriel's assistance in two separate works. I wanted help in opening communication in a honey jar spell for reconciliation for me and guy friend. The other one is having Gabriel's assistance with my writing. It seems like lately I can't make good ideas come out of my mind and hands for two books I'm writing. I have clarity oil to help with this, but I have a feeling having Gabriel's help will really get things moving. Thank you for your help!

Hello birainluv,

As with the petitioning of any saint, it would help you to first establish a relationship with Archangel Gabriel prior to asking for his assistance. You can speak directly and respectfully to him, burn candles for him, make offerings and generally give thanks for his presence in your life. Then you can ask for his help.

Thank you for your reply. I've been wanting to work with Archangel Gabriel for awhile, but have been reluctant because I don't know what to give him and I always bad about that part. I look at a LM article (not sure if I'm using the right word) that posted in a post above, but I couldn't find what to offer him. Do you or anyone have any suggestions?

Hello birainluv,

You could offer him a glass of fresh spring water daily, as he is associated with water and the moon. Put his picture (or statue) on your altar and bring him water as a token of your appreciation and respect. White lilies are another good choice, as he is often seen as a bright white light, therefore work with that color. Light a white candle for him.

Our prepared 8" glass-encased vigil lights come with a dressing of oils and herbs and will burn for 5 - 7 days, depending on ambient temperature and other factors.

If you wish to set a traditional Novena of nine days, you will either have to start and stop the candle (which can result in a smoky glass), or purchase two candles to run continually over the 9-day period.

Always practice fire safety when setting vigil lights. If you must keep them lit when you are away or asleep, be sure that no pets or children can get into the room with them, that they are not near curtains or flammable cloth or paper, and that you have a smoke alarm in your house. Placing lit vigils in the bathtub is quite common, but you must not have a shower curtain if you use this method. Setting them into a fireplace is ideal, as there is a ready-made chimney for them.

If I wanted to communicate my thoughts to someone, telepathically, would it be ok to ask Archangel Gabriel to send these messages to my target? I would light a yellow candle, anoint with mercury oil place my targets picture under the candle with my petition, and ask Archangel Gabriel to help me with this. I would leave an offering of spring water in my garden for her/him. Thanks for any advisement.

Yes it is ok to ask the Angel to assist you in your work, then to pay the Angel for the work via flowers, water, candles, publishing their name. Mercury oil is a great product to work to foster communication. Spirit Guide products are popular as well for connecting with spirits that assist you.
