The first deck I had when I was a kid didn't have a book at all, and when I first FOUND a tarot book (a few years later), I was both amazed and floored - and spoiled on meditating on my cards without influence. LOL

6/30/19 17:42 missmichaele I agree, dr-sweets. Different decks can call out different meanings out of the same card. The Golden Tarot Ace of Wands suggests to me an angelic defender, since it shows an angel holding the wand and standing before a wall of fire.

6/30/19 17:48 missmichaele I generally pull four cards and don't generally asign strict meaning to each position - just let the cards tell what story they will. I also take very seryiously any cards that fall out of the deck as I shuffle - they demand attention.
