Slowly move through the home, spinning your "drawing" pendulum counterclockwise to pull the entity or energy out of the shadows. Address the unwanted entity and tell it to leave in no uncertain terms. Once you have drawn out the unwanted spirit, dip your pendulum in a glass of salted water. You may add Camphor, Hyssop, Rue, or Florida Water to the glass. Repeat this process, if necessary, in each room. Be sure to work into dark, cluttered, or shadowy areas. Open all the windows and doors and move through the home with a brazier of Uncrossing or Banishing Incense. Alternatively, scrub out with Chinese Wash.

Use your "blessing" pendulum, and, spinning it clockwise, move through the rooms while calling in what you want the place to be filled with. For instance, you might call in helpful ancestors, prosperity, peace, healing, or love. Light a blessing candle — a white tea light will do — in each room. Seal the entryways with salt, protective stones, Vicks VapoRub, Red Brick Dust, or Devil’s Shoe Strings, according to your inclination and training. Upon completion of the work, release the salted water to a flowing stream below the level of your home.
