Well it's not like we won't talk again. We said we wouldn't talk for a month (whether it's only really a month, I don't know) so it's not as if we said we'll never talk again. It's just that I'm a believer on you make the target come to you and not contact them, so I was wondering.

Well, I definitely don't doubt what the both of you have said; however, it seems that it may count a substitute.

Genital fluids: menstrual blood, semen, vaginal fluid
Other biological concerns: urine, feces, sweat, blood, spit
Hair: pubic, head, armpit, beard
Person's unwashed clothing: underwear, socks, handkerchief
Person's foot track lifted from the dirt
"Shed" body items: nail clippings, baby teeth
Person's bath water, wash water, drinking water
Person's handwriting on paper
Something Person owned or wore
Something Person touched, e.g. butt from smoked cigarette
Photo of Person
Drawing or silhouette of Person
Person's business card
Person's full name written on paper 9 times

Now obviously the target would have touched this item if it were hand-made, unless of course it was in the context of coming contact with body fluids, ie. saliva.

Well, the something a person wore is meant to be UNWASHED so that it carrys their bodily secretions on it still. A shirt that they wore which is washed isn't worth much, link-wise.
Same thing with the ciggarette butt. The lips and mouth leave many cells behind, which are body leavings, and a decent link. Something that they touched without leaving anything behind isn't a personal concern. Just like signatures really work best when it's an original signature, not a copy - the person imprinted the energy of their handwriting and name personally on the paper in that situation. Though a body leaving will always trump secondary links like photos and signatures.

i've been working a honey jar burning it every monday/wed/fri but didn't realize i needed to do it at sunrise and at the same time everyday. i usually burn it in the evening and not always at the same time...does this mean my work has been useless so far or just LESS effective than if i'd done it at sunrise each day...

No, I do this quite frequently. Do not feel like you HAVE to do things at a certain time at the same time everyday. You are working with the days of the week. So that is adequate timing for now. Not everyone can concentrate at sunrise. So it is recommended but not must. If you want to try it, and see if it makes a difference then go ahead.

I'm looking for some advice on this as well. I have two going. One for me and one for someone else. I have had to make them portable. (home to office Monday through Friday) They have been working so far and this evening I made a verbal petition with the prayer for assistance in a family members situation. The candle wax burned down, not clean as it has done for weeks, but through an interpretation it pictured exactly what I wished-- for the good and prosperity of my family member. Any thoughts please? i'm looking for advice on the meditation part of a honey jar spell. normally i try to feel myself sending red and pink energies into the candle before burning it, while picturing the spell target acting how i want (him wanting to see me, being sweet, kind, etc) and then i light the candle and speak to the candle saying, "with this candle i conjure (targets name) to be overcome with sweet thoughts of me." as i say this i picture the spell target coming to me, needing me, and being overcome with feelings for me. does anyone have any advice about what specific things to say/prayers that work for them? also meditation techniques/what to envision?

Hi there, I was wondering, since I have a long list of folks I want to honey jar, could I get a bunch of smaller glass jars and put honey in them from a larger, more economical supply of honey...seems to me that this would be okay and I wondered if anyone had done this?

I think this is fine, and adequate. there is no set way to pray to any candle, but you are clearly stating your intentions of what you want it to do. Think about what the overall goal is of the jar. If it is a come to me jar, I would say something like...with this candle I conjure that bob smith is draw to jane jones. He is overcome with sweet thoughts of me, and finds me irresistable and me alone. Just talk to the candle like you said, and you should be fine. I think its important to fell in the MOOD. For example, if I am angry I usually wont work on a honey jar because I do not want that affecting my work. or another example is if I am tired. I will take a nap and then work on whatever I need to work on. Play some romantic music or whatever. i guess it just helps me stay true to the intentions of the work.

For Honey Jar's can I use Organic Raw Honey, I've had my reading and not crossed, but was advised to do a honey jar. I am ordering my stuff from LM on Friday, I know it will take three weeks before I get my order but I need to do one this Sunday so I found the Organic Raw Honey in a jar.

whrn i burn candles on my honey jar besides annointing the candle with oil sometimes I also apply pwers or herbs to the candle & some of the xtra herbs & powders fall on the lid.

I always have a really good burn but once the candle get to the end the herbs on the lid cath fire & burn.

well today i noticed it caused it caused the lid to come open & the rose petals inside the jar at the very top got chared as as well. i was going to bury this one and start a new one.

Is this the right thing to do or keep using it ?

I would not put the child in the love jar. If you want a jar to sweeten your relationship as a "family" then a Peaceful Home honey jar would be appropriate, but not the romantic love one.

I just had to do a new honey jar b/c I burned the lid on the old one.
I saw a post about about using poppy SEEDS not flowers for controling so i thought to add it to my jar!

Was I wrong?

I know poppy seed are for confusion as well, i dont want him to become confused!
I sould have asked this B4 I did the jar! I may have to redo it

Poppy sees have nothing to do with control by themselves. They cause confusion. The idea behind using them for control, I believe, was to confuse them and in that confused state control them with actual controlling herbs and root.

So yes, you did it wrong.

The candle ony burned approx 15 min. then i pinched out the candle! Is there something else I need to do?

You can reuse the personal concerns if you can.I would either add some calamus, or licorice. Poppy seeds are to weaken a target. So it might be easier for you to add calamus and/or licorice. Or a controlling sachet powder.

I have some of my grandmothers graveyard dirt. i read somewhere people use that in love spells but I did nit add.

Ok, so needless to say I am new to this. But i've been doing my research on the honey jar subject before getting myself in too deep, in other ways of reconnecting with an ex boyfriend.

Long story short, my ex and I broke up about three years ago. I know, long time. However we were together for almost 2 1/2 years. We had a really bad break up, and it crushed me. For awhile I got over, and moved on with my life, but still felt like something was missing.

I began seeing a psychic, who i spoke with regularly for almost 6 months, she understood the complex issues of our relationship, as well as break up. However, she always gave me information on the past, and what she possibly saw happening between us in the future.
She explained that what I had felt all along was true, that my heart break came from losing my soul-mate. That he still had feelings for me, that we both though about each other often. She talked about how he was in a relationship and very unhappy, and was in the process of a divorce. She explained that we were meant to be together, just the timing was off. She spoke on how he regrets leaving me, and wants me back in his life, however he wonders if I would have him back after the way things ended. She explained I will hear from him, but I have to be patient and trust in God.
After months of waiting (six months) , I've become rather anxious. I started some research and decided this situation needs a little, help

I starting looking into honey jars, reconciliation spells, etc.

I took everyone's advice and got a reading before proceeding in having a root worker help me.
She gave me a very similar reading into how he misses me, but is tied up in what went wrong, that he still plays with the idea of coming back if I'd have him. She explained that it was worth the energy of trying to bring him back because we were ment to be together.

She told me I need to burn a cleans and clear candle (every tuesday), and a road opener candle (every thursday) for three weeks. After the first road opener candle on Thursday, I am supposed to start a honey pot (WHICH IS TOMORROW!!!)

And i ordered a honey pot from MJ, for love and friendship. She also told me to put in rose pedals, basil, cinnamon, and a bay leaf.

Let me be clear, we haven’t spoken in 3 years, ive maybe seen him twice around town since the break up. I have no hair or real personal items.

However, I do (thank god for my little sister) have a dried rose he gave me while we were dating from years ago. I guess she saved it for me. Other than that I don’t anything else from him. Can the honey jar still be effective?

Also, I heard putting clove in it could help my situation. I plan on burning it tomorrow since Sat. will be a full moon. I plan on alternating pink and red candles.

My root worker said let 3 road opener/ cleanse and clear candles burn, and then try making contact with him.

She suggested to try messaging him through facebook. And after doing the spread, she said he’s receptive to talking to me, and that its favorable he will make contact with me.

Ok, so I’m rambling.

My questions are;

Only work the honey jar on Fridays?? I feel like every day for the first week would work better?

Cloves or no cloves?

With his old rose help?

Should I add his picture?

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated

I work honey jars daily until I see movement of some kind, or at least for 1-2 weeks, and then you can drop down to M-W-F. I wouldn't drop down to once a week until you've gotten real positive movement/result and are just looking to maintain the effect, without needing to work it hard.

Cloves stop gossip and help foster friendship, so they could be a helpful addition I suppose.

The old rose isn't really going to do much. I would use a recent picture of him instead - get it off Facebook or online elsewhere.

Since you're working with the rootworker, I don't want to contradict what they've laid out for you. But you may wish to look at the reconcilation kit, as it is made for situations like this, and includes sending a tricked letter to the person to help re-establish contact.

Ok so I did my honey pot. I made it today,
I put love me herbs packet with the name paper, along with some basil leaves, cinnamon, two new red rose petals a bay leaf as directed.

I skipped te cloves, since I'm looking for a relationship no a friendship.

I decided to add a small spoon of light brown sugar due to his skin color, and he is of tan skin.

The red candle burned clean with litrally almost no residue, or left over wax. Is this a good sign?

Also you spoke about the reconciliation kit, shoul that be used in conjunction with this honey pot or should I wait until I get in contact with him?

I purchased a dressed come to me boy candle, since that should help once were talking and I'm in his good graces again.

You can use the Reconcilation kit along with the honey jar. However, since you're working under the direction of a rootworker, check with them first to see if they recommend you doing so or not.

In regards to jars I use baby food jars because of their size. They have the teeny tiny ones which I like for ammonia spells, and then the double sized ones, which are the ones I prefer for honey and vinegar spells. They are not too big, but not too small that nothing will comfortably sit inside it. Plus they are a great size to hide away at home or while traveling!

Not to mention some baby food is delicious, i.e. vanilla custard and any of the fruit purées

I have a general job drawing honey jar going. It has worked very well so far, landing me a 1st and 2nd interview and making me a finalist for a job I recently applied to. I have the decision makers business cards under the jar, along with my petition paper. My jar has a lot of wax on it, since I have been burning candles every M,W,F, and Sunday per my root worker.

The problem is my oldest daughter is home visiting for the weekend and while wandering around the house came into the room where I keep my altar and honey jars and began to mindless break the wax of the job jar.

I yelled at her to stop touching my honey jars and immediately burned sage in the room and around the jar.

The decision on the job will be made on Monday, and now I'm wondering if she did any damage and if I have to redo my jar.

Help!!

Personally, I do not think that she had ill intentions, and it should not affect your jar. I do not think that the amount of wax on the jar predicts its success. If anything you would want your jar to have less wax as possible piling up. I think you should continue to work the jar, and perhaps you can cleanse the outside of it with some chinese wash or take the jar through some sage smoke to remove any negative energy. But I think you should be fine. But if you are going to be too paranoid, then make another jar.

No, she didn't have any ill intent. She was just wandering around talking on the phone, picking up my bottles of LM oils and other things. That was the first time she had seen one of my honey jars and just thought it was a candle holder.

I have had a honey jar for someone in particular for a while, did my regular candle burnings and never had any problems with it. in fact, every time i burned a candle, the next day the results were shown in specific commands I had carved on the candles for the jar. However, the past week or so, I've noticed that no matter how the candles are carved or the oils on them, I am not having near as much luck as before. I don't understand what could have changed because on my end, nothing other than my desire for the man has grown. Inside the jar I have oils and the typical herbs and things along with his name, mine and his photo. I even have every variety of personal concerns possible aside from writing, (all biological including sexual) and yet, it seems its 'power' has diminished slightly. I have even done a CTM spell kit and when I wear the mojo bag, things seem fine but if I leave it under my pillow and rely only on the honey jar like I have, nothing. I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with anything like this and if I should just start from the beginning or something. Thank you.

Get a reading to see what's happening. Could just be a temporary plateau. Burn some Road Opener candles and do some cleansing to make sure everything is as clear and unimpeded as possible.

I mean, the only thing that had changed between us was me asking him to make peace with my roommate, his ex. They had been fighting continuously and it was becoming too much. So after asking him to please just be civil he was, but left the house every time another fight was coming. The situation is complicated but spending one moment around the two and you can tell its over forever. Its just the problem I think is he's becoming distant because I'm moving away and he knows that without my roommate being our link for communication half the time, the likelihood of us talking is growing slim. i don't know if he's trying to distance himself before the move so its easier or what but no matter the work I do, there is little to no change and its becoming infuriating because I want to spend time with him before we leave.

So, I have some orange candles I can burn with tobacco. Should I roll the candle in the tobacco and burn it on the honey jar to open the roads for that particular being? Or would another spell kit help? I'm certain that's the main reason but I don't know how to get pass the obstacle. Like I said before not more than three weeks ago everything was perfect, but now after I asked him to be nice and the realization of my moving became more apparent, he's more or less shut down. I'm just very worried.

I started a honey jar to turn a friend into a lover. I'll spare all of the details on the intention and stuff but I did the ritual and it was pretty intense - I even got light-headed. So the candle (offatory, red) burned like a champ but it burned down one side and left a big spike of drippy wax.

Normally, I believe that this is read to be a sign that there is opposition, right? I am no expert on this, by the way. But. The shape of that spike is so undeniably phalic that I think it might actually be a good sign?

Any thoughts on this would be really appreciated. I'm usually not into reading drippings or worrying too much about a candle unless it goes really wonky while it burns but I came in to check on it and it had A. Already burned out all the way; and B. It was so clearly phallic (it even has details that I'll spare everyone).

I almost don't want to burn any more candles on it because I don't want to ruin it but then again, as I'm not an expert on reading drippings, I could be way off and it could be that the spell isn't working that well since the candle left so much wax standing tall.

I think its a pretty good sign, you burned a candle to turn a man into your lover and the wax left over is in the shape of an erection! Break it off carefully, wrap it in cloth, and bury it at your front door pointing in and continue to work the jar.

Hello, I have a question about a honey jar I made back in January 2010. I worked it for a while and then the subject came back around and was much "sweeter". After that, I haven't worked much with it lately. Now this person has reverted back to his "old ways" (due to bipolar issues & stopping meds

) and is currently in an unrealistic "angry phase" again and directs it toward me because I'm close. Any way, I pulled the jar out to work with it again and the honey is very cloudy. Is it still okay to work with this jar and if not, how can it be disposed of properly?

I'd like to continue to work with this one since it has a lot of energy already in it from my previous works.

The jar is fine, but if the person is actually bipolar there isn't much you can do, its a medical condition, a defect of the brain and its chemicals, so you must be prepared to deal with this and have some understanding. But yes, work the honey jar, as long as the honey is not moldy or the like, its probably just crystallized, it happens.

I just want to say thank you to Devi and star. Both of you have always offered me help and wonderful advice. To this I say thank you. I couldn't get a reading as of now for the fact I am moving but I did an uncrossing 'procedure' last night. I dressed an orange candle with tobacco and cleansed it with the smoke of uncrossing incense. I burned the candle on top of my honey jar and watched it carefully. To those who haven't done it, burning a candle dressed with herbs or anything along those lines the wax mixed with the flame of the candle makes it burn very quickly. But after the candle and incense burned out, I dressed a white candle in CTM oil with specific carvings of instructions on it and burned it on the jar along with attraction incense and CTM. This was last night and in the morning, after a large fight between the guy and his ex (my roommate) and two days of not one single word, the simple uncrossing worked. It was as though nothing had changed and all of my work had finally come to fruition. I still plan on getting a reading but to those who are wondering if they have hit a snag, I definitely suggest uncrossing the circumstances. I also plan on doing one or two more uncrossing spells before letting it lie. Thank you again Devi and star for all of you help.

Bipolar, and other mental illnesses are hard for the family members involved. I would recommend that you go and get some therapy as well, or even join a support group. It can be quite helpful to hear how others that are family members work through such phases.

I would work with St. Dymphna if you feel comfortable and have worked with saints before. In addition, If you have worked with the honey jar before, then continue to work with it, but even when the person comes around you should continue to work with it. However, you need to understand that this is a mental disorder, but the honey jar can definitely help, but it will not cure everything.
