A honey jar is used to sweeten people and relationships, not opportunities (as there is no known entity to sweeten). Stick with your Road Opener plan and petition for the path to be cleared to your ideal career.

Once you have an idea of the company you would like to work at, then put it in a honey jar including the name of the hiring manager or boss of the division you'd like to work in.

Sorry if this has been addressed. But I am looking to aim for a specific type of job at a specific type of company. I don't have quite the entire experience yet. Will the Steady Work spell get me into the specific company or will it set me up the stepping stones leading to it? Is Steady Work spell aimed for people who already applied to jobs and wanting to move into a better one?

I was just wondering if Steady Work was for generally speaking or can I actually aim for the career and company now by doing so.

From reading forums, it seems that in general, Steady Work works pretty quickly. I would be happy if I got into the company of my choice but in the wrong career, while working towards my passion within the company.

Hi Dimplez,
If I were in your position, I would probably choose to work with a loadstone instead. A loadstone will help draw your desire to you like a magnet, while a honey jar is used to sweeten someone who you already have a connection to. Once you get your dream job, you can use a honey jar to sweeten up your boss, if necessary.

Hello all!
I just went to talk with the principal of a school with a job that I want today. She told me that’s she’s going to start scheduling interviews next week. I wanted to do a honey jar for her; however I know I won’t have time to get all the herbs I need. I do have allspice and steady work powder. Can I use these for the jar or is there maybe something else that I can also use that would be on hand? Thank you for your time and patience.

Hi birainluv,

I'd wrap your petition, which can also be a name paper for the principal, around the allspice and put that in your honey, then dress a green or blue candle with some olive oil, then roll it in that Steady Work Powder to dress it. If you don't have an appropriately colored candle, you can absolutely use white, because it's sort of a catch-all when you're in a pinch.

Hello,

I received my steady work spell kit and am trying to identify the lodestone in the mojo bag. What I found was a small white pebble like rock, is this the lodestone?

I answered this question on your other post but since it is off topic for the other thread, I will answer your other question here. The lodestone is magnetic and should have small bits of magnetic dust stuck to it. If it doesn't then you may want to call the Lucky Mojo shop. They can help you identify the lodestone and work out a solution if it is missing.

Hello again all!
Now that Mercury retrograde is over and I have my two dollar bill, I’m almost ready to start my kit, but I have one more question. I was reading the instructions that said when inscribing the candles to start from top to bottom, which I’m guessing is from the wick to the base correct? I’m kinda confused because I thought when bringing something in that you go from bottom to top and to remove was top to bottom? I just wanted to make sure that I was correct and maybe not misreading somehow. Thank y’all for help and patience! Best

Hello Ochun_Sweetness,

You are correct in that inscribing from top (wick) to bottom (base) is traditionally used to remove something, whereas the opposite direction is for drawing work. I do not have this spell kit at hand to review the instruction myself, but if your candles are for drawing in steady work, I would inscribe them from the base up to the wick. If they are for the removal of obstacles to steady work, inscribe them from the wick down to the base.

Thank you it helps a bit, but I’m a bit hesitant now because I don’t want to mess anything up because I would have to reorder everything and it takes a minute for everything to get here due to the pandemic and I kinda want to get things moving, so maybe I’ll just get the church to burn a steady work candle for me in the meantime. Hi All,

Am waiting to start my steady work spell kit, but am unsure of the timings of the moon phase. Do I start on the day of the new moon which is Sep 17 or do I start on Sep 21 during the waxing phase?

I would appreciate some advice please and thanks.

I do this kind of work during the waxing phase of the moon. On the night of the new moon, you won't see it at all. I like to call upon its influence, so being able to see it is an important part of that work for me.
