Wow!! This was a powerful read. I have received some of these cards during personal divination and knew they were about my suitor but I just thought he was sad or going through problems. Now I will look at receiving these cards during MY reading when dating someone in a whole new light.
I remember dating a guy years ago...the 7 of Swords kept coming up again and again. Could it be any clearer?
Unrelated tarot question because I don't see an appropriate forum... in the Rider Waite deck, the World card, above the lion's head there is a symbol. Is it a caduceus?
Actually, no, is is not a caduceus. The deck is called the RWS or Rider Waite Smith deck because it was published by Rider & Co., written by Arthur Edward Waite, and illustrated by Pamela Colman Smith. The design is Pamela Colman Smith's entwined monogram, PCS. You can also see it clearly at the lower right of the Hermit card and under the rear feet of the lion on the Strength card.

Oh, Snap! I used to get the Three of Swords in readings - like every time - for a woman about the man she was seeing. I could see then how consistently the oracle was communicating a deception in a clear and evident manner, and such carelessness for the hearts involved.
Now, today, at this time looking backward, I can even see the carelessness that she had for her own heart in this situation.
